​Ethnic apparel brand Manyavar’s stock under pressure as promoter to offload stake ​

<ul><li>UPSC is looking forward to filling up 861 Civil Service positions.</li><li>The last date to apply for the opportunity is February 22.</li><li>Candidates will have to appear for two rounds of written test and one personality test/interview.</li></ul>The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services has released a notification inviting applications to fill up 861 vacancies. The application process will remain open till 6 p.m. February 22. Candidates will have to appear for the preliminary test to be conducted by the UPSC on June 5. Those candidates who qualify can appear for the main examination later. Candidates clearing both the rounds will then be called for a personal interview/personality test. Indian citizens, aged between 21 and 32, who have graduated from an institution recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) can apply. Even refugees from Nepal, Bhutan, Tibetan refugees are eligible to apply for these positions. Every candidate is allowed to give six attempts. <ul><li>Nasdaq-listed <keyword id="28721" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="cognizant" source="Orion">Cognizant</keyword> Technology Solutions posted highest-ever quarterly revenue growth of 14.5% in constant currency to $4.8 billion for the fourth quarter ended December</li><li>Moreover, the company also forecasted for a highest-ever revenue growth of 8.5-11.5% for 2022.</li><li>Shares of the IT major ended 2% higher on February 2 on Nasdaq.</li></ul>Nasdaq-listed information technology (IT) major Cognizant Technology Solutions has delivered its highest-ever quarterly revenue in October to December quarter, signalling positive cues to its Indian counterparts like Infosys, TCS, Wipro etc. It has posted a revenue growth of 14.5% in constant currency to $4.8 billion. Moreover, it forecasts revenue growth of 8.5-11.5% in constant currency for next year 2022 at $20.0-$20.5 billion. Cognizant’s attrition rate has improved to 31% in the fourth quarter from 33% in the third quarter with 3.30 lakh total employees. “During 2021, we continued to invest in our people and strategic initiatives while navigating the heightened cost pressures driven by the labor supply demand imbalance,” said Jan Siegmund, chief financial officer at Cognizant. Cognizant is giving positive vibes to the Indian IT industry with strong revenue growth and an improving attrition rate

<ul><li>The online ticketing portal is planning to double its team strength by the end of the next financial year.</li><li>The hiring will be done across various domains like technology, marketing, support sectors to name a few.</li><li>In an interaction with Business Insider, Pitti mentioned that <keyword id="5030468" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="easemytrip" source="Orion">EaseMyTrip</keyword> will be acquiring a few more companies in the near future, but didn’t reveal any details about it.</li></ul>EaseMyTrip, a Delhi-based online ticketing portal, is looking forward to doubling its team size by the end of the next financial year (FY 2022-23). The company, which has a current employee strength of 488, is looking to hire another 370 people in the coming months, Prashant Pitti, co-founder of EaseMyTrip, told Business Insider. Pitti said, “As there is a huge requirement to grow organically and inorganically, that is why we are looking forward to doubling our headcount by next year or so.” The hiring will be done across various domains like technology, marketing, support sectors to name a few. In a conversation with Business Insider, Pitti also expressed his interest in hiring interns as well across product and analyst segments. He said, “We are more than happy to hire interns on the product side, analyst side. If we can connect to some universities, we’re happy to take interns.” When asked about how many internships the travel company is planning to roll out, Pitti said, “ There is no specific number in our mind, but we’re really looking forward to welcoming interns or freshers in our team.” Talking about the growth plans of the company, Pitti also mentioned that EaseMyTrip will be acquiring a few more companies in the near future, but didn’t reveal the name of the companies. “There are many more acquisitions which are in the pipeline.. But we can’t reveal the names and other details,” Pitti told Business Insider. EaseMyTrip, in 2021, had acquired three companies — YoloBus, a premium intercity mobility platform, Spree Hospitality, a hospitality management company and Traviat, a business to business travel platform — for an undisclosed amount. “ We also plan on leveraging our vast agent network and utilising it for the holiday bookings which shall complement the company’s hotel and holiday businesses. We also aim to rapidly grow across our international markets where we have recently expanded our international presence to six countries where we added the Philippines, Thailand, and the USA as well,” he added. The publicly-listed travel company even doubled its net profit to ₹61.4 crore in the <a href="https://www.businessinsider.in/business/news/easemytrip-doubled-investors-money-during-one-of-the-worst-periods-for-the-travel-industry/articleshow/89172116.cms">financial year</a> 2021, when the entire travel segment was brought down to its knees due to COVID-19 and sits on a market cap of ₹5,600 crore, as of January 27.
