<ul class="summary-list"><li><keyword id="240276" type="PERSON" weightage="60" keywordseo="Peloton">Peloton</keyword> CEO John Foley said the company has no plans to stop selling its Tread+.</li><li>On Saturday, a US <keyword id="3346056" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="60" keywordseo="consumer-safety">consumer safety</keyword> suggested the company should <keyword id="54643" type="PERSON" weightage="60" keywordseo="recall">recall</keyword> or stop selling the treadmill.</li><li>The product has been linked to 39 incidents, including one death.</li></ul><p>Peloton CEO John Foley <a href="https://support.onepeloton.com/hc/en-us/articles/360060001511">says</a> the company won't stop selling its treadmill after US regulators <a href="https://www.businessinsider.com/peloton-tread-child-death-warning-cpsc-video-2021-4">suggested</a> the company should recall the Tread+ over the weekend.</p><p>The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) <a href="https://www.businessinsider.com/peloton-tread-owners-immediately-stop-using-machine-regulators-cpsc-warning-2021-4">said</a> Saturday it began investigating the Tread+ after 39 incidents, including one death, were linked to the machine. There have been multiple reports of children and pets becoming trapped or pulled under the back roller on the treadmill, according to the CPSC.</p><p>The agency said it "believes the Peloton Tread+ poses serious risks to children for abrasions, fractures, and death" and <a href="https://www.businessinsider.com/peloton-tread-owners-immediately-stop-using-machine-regulators-cpsc-warning-2021-4">urged consumers with children to stop using the machines. </a></p><p>Foley responded to the CPSC statement saying the company has been cooperating with the investigation but has no plans to stop selling its $4,295 product. </p><p>"The Tread+ is safe when our warnings and safety instructions are followed, and we know that, every day, thousands of Members enjoy working out safely on their Tread+," Foley said.</p><p>Peloton called CPSC's warning "inaccurate and misleading." The company also took issue with<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=onXNnlCYJ4Y"> a harrowing video</a> released by the agency which shows a child becoming trapped under the machine.</p><p>Foley said the treadmill was not designed for children and includes several warnings about keeping the product away from children.</p><p>"The Tread+ includes safety warnings and instructions in several places, including in the user manual, in a safety card left on top of the Tread+ tray on delivery, and on the product itself," Foley said.</p><p>Foley also said Peloton is working on additional software that will provide additional safety measures.</p><p>Shares of Peloton fell about 5% in trading Monday following the CPSC's announcement. </p>

Next, I spent 20 minutes updating the software to the latest firmware; registration took another 15. Fortunately, the hydraulic system makes folding the treadmill so effortless, I'm able to do it with just one hand. I also appreciate that the incline adjusts to accurately match the topography where I'm running. If I choose a route in San Francisco, I can expect the treadmill to work overtime in simulating that city's hills. </p><p>I usually listen to audiobooks while running, and I like that my phone connects to the treadmill seamlessly over Bluetooth. And, the speakers are loud enough to be heard over the fan and the thudding of my feet. When I choose to tune into the trainer, I appreciate how positive they always are. They do a good job of pushing me to keep going. </p><h2>Running the (digital) Boston Marathon</h2><p>My favorite workout program is the Boston Marathon Series with Ashley Paulson. This consists of five videos that take you through the entire Boston Marathon course at a pace of about 10 minutes per mile. Ashley tells you a bit about the race as you go, chats with fellow runners, and helps keep a positive vibe along the way. </p><p>Since I'm just a run-for-fun runner, I invited my friend, <a href="https://westbrook-law.net/">Ted Westbrook</a>, a competitive distance runner, to give the treadmill a go for himself. He admitted it was among the best he's used.</p><p>One aspect that particularly impressed him was how quickly the speed adjusts. After starting at a pace of 7 mph, he upped it to 12 mph and the treadmill adjusted to the new speed in under 8 seconds. As a frequent Boston Marathon finisher, Ted appreciated the machine's ability to adjust the incline to match the course — a feature that would be a useful training tool since the marathon starts with several declines.</p><h2>Sweat it out</h2><p>I sweat — a lot. I'm usually pouring sweat within the first mile of a run and since I typically run roughly four miles each workout, this leaves the machine covered in perspiration. I do make a point of wiping it down after each run, but some areas are hard to get dry, such as the tray under the console. If you sweat as much as I do, you may want to consider giving it a wipe down after each use. </p><h2>Minor drawbacks</h2><p>Though the treadmill's 22-inch touchscreen display is a nice feature, the fact it's unable to function as a computer monitor to stream media is unfortunate. I sometimes enjoy getting a few steps in while catching up on TV shows or watching a sporting event and was only able to do this by using my laptop and positioning it just right on the unit. Being able to do this on the screen provided would be much more convenient.  </p><p>Another drawback was how the treadmill seemed to rock a bit after it was first assembled. How to use Apple Fitness Plus with your Apple Watch - and a guide to the major features and workout levels

<ul class="summary-list"><li>The <a href="https://www.insider.com/category/miami-heat">Miami Heat</a> have a legendary strength and conditioning program that they call "world-class."</li><li>One test every player must pass before training camp requires 10 baseline-to-baseline sprints in under a minute, over and over again.</li><li>The Heat also require players to take photos before, during, and after the season to document their weight progress, and their body fat is checked every week.</li><li>While not all players like the intense, militaristic culture, it has undeniably paid off those who embrace it.</li></ul><p>The <keyword id="509520" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="60" keywordseo="Miami-Heat">Miami Heat</keyword>'s strength and conditioning program is so difficult that it often takes players to levels they didn't realize were possible.</p><p>When Dion Waiters was traded to the Heat in 2017, <a href="https://www.theplayerstribune.com/en-us/articles/dion-waiters-miami-heat-nba-is-lucky">he wrote in The Players Tribune</a> that team president Pat Riley gave him notice about his conditioning.</p><p><a href="https://www.theplayerstribune.com/en-us/articles/dion-waiters-miami-heat-nba-is-lucky"></a>"We're going to get you in world-class shape. Not good shape. Not great shape. World-class shape," Riley said, according to Waiters.</p><p>Waiters wrote that was he skeptical, believing he was already in <keyword id="6361805" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="60" keywordseo="NBA">NBA</keyword> shape.</p><p>"After one week, my body [was] shot," Waiters wrote. "I was damn near throwing up in trash cans like in the movies."</p><p>Waiters was so impressed by his progress that he posted before-and-after photos from going through the Heat's program.</p><p>Waiters' documentation of his progress wasn't unique — <a href="https://hoopshype.com/2017/04/27/a-behind-the-scenes-look-at-the-miami-heats-intense-culture/">HoopsHype's Alex Kennedy reported in 2017</a> that players take three photos — one before the season, one during their season, and one after — to document their progress. They have their bodyfat checked every Monday. That is not common practice around the NBA.</p><p>It's all part of the Heat's intense strength and conditioning program, one they repeatedly refer to as "world-class." Over the years, the Heat's program has become legendary in the NBA, bordering on folklore.</p><h2>The Heat's program isn't overly complicated</h2><div type="image" title="dwyane wade bam adebayo" height="750" width="1500" msid="78279175" hostid="261"></div><p>For all of the heap praised on the team, the few anecdotes that exist about what <em>exactly</em> the Heat do largely paint the picture of an old-school, militaristic program. <a href="https://www.espn.com/nba/playoffs/2016/story/_/id/15878773/truehoop-presents-lebron-struggles-bring-heat-culture-cavs">ESPN's Brian Windhorst reported in 2016</a> that during LeBron James' first season in Miami, training camp took place at a military base, and the first three days were devoted solely to conditioning and defensive drills; no one touched a basketball.</p><p><a href="https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/29783303/has-there-ever-better-fit-jimmy-butler-miami-heat">Windhorst reported this postseason</a> that the Heat's notorious conditioning drill is wind sprints, the length of the court, over and over again.</p><p>"To be admitted to training camp, a player has to run the length of the court 10 times in under a minute. Then two minutes recovery. Then again. Two minutes recovery. Then again. And again. And again," Windhorst wrote.</p><p>Some reportedly believe it's the toughest test in the NBA and NFL. <keyword id="685283" type="PERSON" weightage="60" keywordseo="Jimmy-Butler">Jimmy Butler</keyword> did not pass it on his first go-around. By the time Dwyane Wade was a veteran member of the Heat, he "pulled rank" and opted out of the test each season, according to Windhorst.</p><p>In another <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KW6PT5VdFrE">exercise documented on the Heat's YouTube channel</a>, players must run on a manual-resistance treadmill and get up to 12 miles per hour. Once there, they have to maintain that speed for five, 20-second intervals, with one minute of rest in between.</p><p>Former Heat guard Josh Richardson, who was traded to the Philadelphia 76ers for Butler, discussed the test and "world-class" program upon joining the Sixers.</p><p>"They call it 'world-class conditioning,'" <a href="https://sixerswire.usatoday.com/2019/12/17/sixers-guard-josh-richardson-credits-heat-for-nba-development/">Richardson told reporters</a>. "When you get to camp, they expect you at a certain bodyweight, a certain conditioning level, because from day one, you're hitting the ground running. They have a conditioning test down there that's not easy, so it's your first introduction to training camp, honestly, because it's like a week before."</p><p>A Heat player who chose to remain anonymous told Kennedy in 2017: "They had us come in early during the offseason to prepare for training camp. We did sprints and other conditioning drills, and we even went outside to push some sleds and flip tires and stuff like that. This was all to get ready for training camp."</p><div type="image" title="pat riley udonis haslem" height="910" width="1214" msid="78279179" hostid="261"></div>Things don't get easier in training camp or the season. According to Kennedy, the Heat fine players $100 for putting their hands on their knees during a game or practice. Kennedy and Windhorst both reported that players would drink detox drinks or hit the steam room to sweat off pounds before weigh-ins.<p>While Riley has received a bulk of the credit for creating a culture of accountability in Miami, many also credit the father-son team of Bill and Eric Foran, who run the strength and conditioning program.</p><p>Former Heat forward James Johnson, who lost 40 lb and got his body-fat percentage down to 6.75% while in Miami, <a href="https://www.miamiherald.com/sports/nba/miami-heat/article238651018.html">told Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald</a> that the Forans should get "all the compliments and all the rewards" for the program.</p><p>Heat big man Udonis Haslem, who has been with the team since 2003, told Chiang: "[The Forans] are determined on pushing guys to get better. There's a science behind it. It's not just get in the gym and clang the weights. There's a science behind it. So they've perfected the science behind it."</p><p>The Heat's program stands in contrast to some other NBA programs, which focus on building up slowly so that players can be at their peaks at the end of the season. In recent years, some teams barely practice during the season to let players get adequate rest.</p><p>The Heat's conditioning has paid off in the playoffs. The Heat have mounted several impressive comebacks in the postseason, illustrated by their first- and second-half splits — they are just a +7 in first halves in the postseason, but are a +63 in second halves.</p><p>While the program isn't for everybody, many NBA players love the intensity of Miami's culture.</p><p>"They're actually looking out for you," Jimmy Butler told reporters in training camp in 2019. "Whether you want to look at it like that or not, they're making sure that you're healthy, that you're at a weight that you can function at to help us win, and that your body fat needs to be down, to watch what you put into your body. I like it. I'm a fan of it."</p><p>Heat center Meyers Leonard said in October that the expectation should be that players are in world-class shape.</p><p>"I love it," Leonard told reporters. "That's the way it's supposed to be. Look, we're in the greatest association in the world. We're getting paid millions of dollars to play basketball, which is a game we love. Those electrodes can read or, theoretically, write brain activity by sensing or stimulating neurons, all while transmitting the data wirelessly via Bluetooth-like radio waves so researchers can analyze it.</p><p>Neuralink has also developed a precision robot to surgically install the chip underneath the skull and feed the wires into the brain as to not damage it by accidentally puncturing blood vessels — a procedure Musk claimed takes just hours and leaves nothing but a small scar.</p><div type="image" title="Screen Shot 2020 08 28 at 12.51.16 PM" height="1440" width="2880" msid="77816715" hostid="261"></div><h2>What does, or could, Neuralink's chip actually do?</h2><p>Musk has, unsurprisingly, made some wild claims about the technology's potential.</p><p>According to his predictions, it could: create "symbiosis" between the human mind and computers; "shed some light on consciousness;" allow people to "save and replay memories;" cure paralysis, blindness, memory loss, and other neurological diseases; enable "superhuman vision," or give people the ability to summon their Tesla telepathically.</p><p>"Yes, this is increasingly sounding like a 'Black Mirror' episode," Musk acknowledged during Friday's demo.</p><p>While neuroscientists said Neuralink appears to be a long ways off from delivering on some of Musk's more ambitious promises, they're optimistic that brain-machine interfaces could in the not-too-distant future be used to treat some neurological issues like spinal cord injuries or <a href="https://www.businessinsider.com/deep-brain-stimulation-therapy-parkinsons-control-body-device-2017-12">Parkinson's</a>, or be used to control prosthetics.</p><p>"Diseases where we understand the [neurological] circuit and what exactly that circuit is doing are potential applications," Dr. Jason Shepherd, an associate professor of neurobiology at the University of Utah, told Business Insider.</p><p>But other neurodegenerative disorders, like dementia, are more difficult to tackle, he said, because "there's complex behavior, there's complex learning and memory or aspects that are not regulated by just one area of the brain."</p><h2>What did Musk show off Friday?</h2><p>Neuralink treated viewers to a bizarre and slightly dystopian demo where it used its chip to analyze the brain activity of pigs, which are <a href="https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/17445892/#:~:text=The%20pig%20brain%2C%20which%20is,subcortical%20structures%20by%20imaging%20techniques.">often used in research</a> because their brains more closely resemble the anatomy of human brains.</p><p>Friday's demo involved several pigs: "Joyce," who didn't have a chip implanted; "Dorothy," who had one but has since had it removed, (which Musk said was important because it showed they could remove it if you change your mind or want to "upgrade"); "Gertrude," who has had a chip for two months; and several others with "dual" chips implanted.</p><p>Attendees then got to see and hear "real-time signals" from Gertrude's Neuralink, which was configured to detect "spikes" of neural activity in her snout so that the screen lit up and sounds played as she sniffed food around her pen.</p><p>Musk also showed a video one of the pigs on a treadmill where the company tried to predict the position of the pig's limbs by sensing its brain activity, which it claimed it did almost perfectly.</p><div type="image" title="elon musk pig" height="1350" width="2701" msid="77816717" hostid="261"></div><p>Of course, working on pigs is still several major steps removed from human subjects, both in terms of technical hurdles and regulatory approval. On that front, Musk said Neuralink had gotten "<a href="https://www.fda.gov/medical-devices/how-study-and-market-your-device/breakthrough-devices-program#s1">breakthrough device</a>" approval from the Food and Drug Administration, which can help speed up the research and development behind new medical technologies. </p><p>Finally, Neuralink's team provided some limited technical details about the materials used in the chip and wires as well as the speed and resolution at which the chip can read and write data.</p><h2>There was a lot hype around the demo — was anything actually new?</h2><p>Not really, at least as far as what people could glean just from watching the demo, though scientists and engineers would no doubt love to see Neuralink publish more research on its chip, materials <keyword id="41551" type="ENTERTAINMENT" weightage="60" keywordseo="science">science</keyword>, and algorithms to support some of the hype Musk has created.</p><p>"All the technology that he showed has been already developed in some way or form," Shepherd said. "Essentially what they've done is just package it into a nice little form that then sends data wirelessly."</p><p>Neuralink's work builds on work that neuroscientists and bioengineers have been doing for decades, who in recent years have made breakthroughs such as <a href="https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2019/06/190619142542.htm">mind-controlled robotic arms</a>.</p><p>"If you just watched this presentation, you would think that it's coming out of nowhere, that Musk is doing this magic, but in reality, he's really copied and pasted a lot of work from many, many labs that have been working on this," Shepherd said.</p><p>Still, Musk's enthusiasm for the topic and deep pockets will likely generate additional interest, both from investors and the public, which could be a boon for other neuroscience work, he added.</p><p>Scientists have been impressed before with <a href="https://www.businessinsider.com/we-spoke-to-2-neuroscientists-about-how-exciting-elon-musks-neuralink-really-is-2019-9">some of Neuralink's breakthroughs</a>, most notably the "sewing machine" it developed to insert the ultra-thin wires into the brain.</p><p>"Doing this stuff by hand, these are very fine things … it's very hard to have a steady enough hand to do these things manually," Andrew Hires, an assistant professor of neurobiology at the University of California, told Business Insider in July 2019 after Neuralink published new research and claimed it had gotten a <a href="https://www.businessinsider.com/elon-musk-neuralink-brain-microchip-tested-on-monkeys-2019-7">monkey to control a computer</a>.</p><h2>What challenges do Neuralink and other brain-machine interface researchers still need to overcome?</h2><p>Depending on what they want to use the technology for, researchers and tech startups working on brain chips still face a range of challenges.</p><p>A big one is developing materials that can be safely inserting into a human brain for long periods of time without deteriorating themselves or causing infections.</p><p>Others include making chips that can read data quickly enough and at a high enough resolution to be useful, designing algorithms that can accurately interpret the data, and designing a way to insert the wires deeper into the brain so the chip can access more of its activity.</p><p>There are also major security, privacy, political, legal, and ethical issues that are bound to arise. Obviously, implanting a chip in someone's head that reads their raw brain data — and lets them control their physical movements, sight, smell, or hearing via a mobile app, uses Musk said Neuralink is pursuing — could go very wrong.</p><p>"A lot of these kinds of companies are sort of stuck in between the development stage and the application stage," Shepherd said. "And from my view, the development stage of this is I think very premature, there's still a lot of work to be done."</p><p>Neuralink could also face some of its own, unique challenges. <a href="https://www.statnews.com/2020/08/25/elon-musk-neuralink-update-brain-machine-implants/">STAT News</a> reported earlier this week that several former Neuralink researchers expressed concerns about a chaotic culture within the company characterized by a clash between tight deadlines and the slower pace typical of scientific research.</p><p>They told STAT that the company is using tech's favored "move fast and break things" approach to building a medical device, and that "the strategy is very immature at times."</p>

<p></p><div class="KonaFilter image-container display-table float_right"><div><div class="image on-image"></div><p></p></div></div>Dexter Fletcher's career in movies kicked off in earnest when he was 10-years-old, starring as Baby Face in the 1976 musical Buggsy Malone.<p>As a child, he went on to land roles in huge British productions such as "The Long Good Friday," "The Elephant Man," and the popular UK children's series "Press Gang."</p><p>Later, he appeared in HBO drama "Band of Brothers," "Carvaggio," and "Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels."</p><p>Fletcher made his directorial debut in 2012 with "Wild Bill," but this year he notched up his biggest director credit yet: "Eddie the Eagle." The comedy movie tells the true story of the first Great British Olympic ski jumper and stars Taron Egerton, Hugh Jackman, and Christopher Walken.</p><p>We grabbed a quick five minutes with Fletcher shortly after his appearance at Advertising Week Europe in London on Wednesday. We spoke about his favorite moments from "Eddie the Eagle" and the dream cast he'd love to assemble for a future movie.</p><p><strong>Business Insider: When was the first moment you realized you can actually start making money from acting and film?</strong></p><p><strong>Dexter Fletcher:</strong> The first thing I did I made money and I was only 6-years-old [in a stage show.] It wasn't lost on me that it was a job. Then I remember when I did "Buggsy Malone," I was paid £15 a day. I did four days work and I worked out I had sixty quid.</p><p><div></div></p><p class="embed-spacer"><strong>BI: What did you spend the money on?</strong></p><p><strong>DF:</strong> I went and bought a bike. Just as much money as I've made, I've also lost as well. I've been bankrupt in my time and I've been homeless.</p><p>The thing about acting is it's very hand to mouth, as they say. There's a small band of actors who really make a good living out of it. In my experience, 90% of actors at one time are unemployed. It's a very tough existence, that's why I think people are always invariably advising young people who say "I want to be an actor" that you should have something to fall back on and think again about it. It's tough. But it's like any self-employed work. It's difficult.</p><p><strong>BI: Did you do any interesting jobs in between jobs?</strong></p><p><strong>DF:</strong> I've not had to do that. I probably wouldn't be well-suited for it anyway, unless it was manual work of some description, to be honest. There is a challenge of keeping yourself busy. I started writing, I sold some scripts and stuff like that so it's always been in and around acting and entertainment that I've done.</p><p>You can end up working in a pub theater for £12 a week if you're really desperate, but I've been lucky enough to not have to do that. I probably should have done it. Maybe I wouldn't have gone bankrupt 20 years ago.</p><p><strong>BI: You've had an amazing year this year so you won't have to worry about those bar jobs just yet. Some people are saying you may <a href="http://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/what-s-on/cinema/could-eddie-the-eagle-turn-dexter-fletcher-into-a-national-treasure-1-7824684">become a 'national treasure</a>' this year. When you think of the UK's lineage of long national treasures, does sit easy with you?</strong></p><p><strong>DF:</strong> I don't know how these things are determined! I don't know. That's very flattering and lovely and I think that I've been acting since I was 6-years-old and I've been around and people have known me for the best part of 40 years, so that gives me a kind of great nostalgic tint when people see me. I think that's probably what it refers to, is that we know and we like and we remember this guy because people remember me from their childhood and that's always a nice thing.</p><p><div></div></p><p><strong>BI: What do people recognize you for the most?</strong></p><p><strong>DF:</strong> I don't know, it varies. It could be "Lock Stock, [and Two Smoking Barrels]," it could be "Hotel Babylon," "Caravaggio," it could be "Press Gang," it could be any number of things. That's why I'm lucky.</p><p><strong>BI For me it's "Press Gang."</strong></p><p><strong>DF:</strong> "Press Gang" is a very important piece of work because there's a whole generation of journalists who watched that show and were inspired to write.</p><p>Writing is a fantastic, creative, wonderful thing to be part of. I'm not sure what something like [BBC 1990s kids drama] "Byker Grove" inspired people to be. You know what I mean?</p><p>I think that's what separated "Press Gang" because it had some sort of impetus in terms of you can do this thing. And here's these kids to look up to. She was a great character, Lynda Day, in that running the newspaper role. And Stephen Moffat wrote it and he's doing" Doctor Who" and "Sherlock" - he's a great writer.</p><p><div></div></p><p><strong>BI: You've had the great fortune of acting, writing, and directing. Which do you prefer?</strong></p><p><strong>DF:</strong> They're all equally as frustrating and rewarding. Anything borne of your own imagination it's always tough. When you get there you doubt it very quickly and you think "I've got to do this again, but better." That's the natural instinct I think. I couldn't pinpoint it out.</p><p><strong>BI: What's your favorite scene in "Eddie the Eagle"?</strong></p><p><strong>DF:</strong> There's a nice shot I like when Eddie meets this PR girl in Calgary. It's all in one shot and she's really excited to meet him because all the press are asking for him and she wants to get him in front of the press. He's a bit bewildered.</p><p>There's another shot where Eddie and Bronson Peary meet for the first time, that's an all-in-one as well, so if you're talking about really technical, those are very good.</p><p><div></div></p><p class="embed-spacer">But in terms of acting, I think my favorite scene is when Eddie and Peary argue just before he goes off to Calgary and he says: "Don't be a fool, don't go there and be a fool, go there and be a contender. Don't go and squander your chance." And Eddie can't see what he's talking about. Just dramatically I think that's a very very good scene.</p><p><strong>BI: Does it stir up anything emotive? What struck you so much?</strong></p><p><strong>DF:</strong> Because it's good acting. I don't have the emotional connection to it that maybe the audience have when they are watching it. There are certain things that resonate with the audience that is different for everybody.</p><p>Some people get very choked up when Christopher Walken comes at the end and Hugh Jackman meets his mentor and they have a reconciliation and other people get very choked up when the dad opens up his jacket and he says "I'm Eddie's dad," and other people get choked up when he's in the air and just want him to land.</p><p></p><div class="KonaFilter image-container display-table float_left"><div><div class="image on-image"></div><p></p></div></div>For me, I just made the film, all I do is hope that these things work. Then I don't know. They don't affect me emotionally. I'm too involved in it. But it's only when I sit down and watch the audience and see what they're reacting to, that's the only way I can gauge that it's worked.<p><strong>BI: Is there a particular actor that's on your whilst to work with?</strong></p><p><strong>DF:</strong> Julia Roberts, Charlize Theron; I'd love to work with them. I'd quite like to work with Channing Tatum as well. I think he's an interesting dude.</p><p>If you see a film called "Foxcatcher," Channing Tatum is actually f-----g brilliant in it. Same as Oscar Isaac and Mark Ruffalo, these are all great interesting actors that whenever you're casting a film, you put together a wishlist, and you put those sort of people at the top.</p><p>I just think Julia Roberts is stunningly beautiful and incredibly intelligent. But I just love most actors, I'm easily pleased when it comes to actors.</p><p><strong>BI: What's next for you this year? What are you working on at the moment?</strong></p><p><strong>DF:</strong> I'm not at liberty to say, I'm afraid.
