An idea blossomed in my mind that I would do, like, this very 2000s Cheetah Girls-style top, complete with hair and makeup. I tried to do it very 2000s today to fit the aesthetic, and I'm very into this vision, so I kind of want to make it come to life. Irene: So, I have a bunch of scarves. I went through my grandma's closet, and she actually had a lot of options, so here they are. This was the scarf I was originally thinking of. I forget where I got it, but I like the colors, it's very fun, and I think it's the right size 'cause it's definitely longer than my waist, so it'll definitely fit around me. But then I saw my grandma has this one. I might go with this, 'cause I think this will look really cute and like an actual top, you know? Kyle: I'm getting much more excited to try out this challenge now, because this is my scarf, and I think it's adorable. I feel like this will fit well into the rest of my wardrobe, so if this challenge actually works out, I could wear this all the time. Irene: Two options here. Try not to get them tangled. One's a little bit thicker. One has, like, actually a little bit of a rope design, which might go really nicely, and then this one's just kind of like a traditional chain to hold up the scarf, 'cause I'm not sure if it matters how thick the chain has to be. So, I guess we'll find out. Nico: So, we're just gonna go through these and see which one could possibly work. [gasps] Wait, I'm looking at this star one right here right now, and I'm already a little bit obsessed with that one, so we might have already made our decision. Kyle: So, I snuck into my parents' room successfully. They're gonna be pretty mad if they see that this is on the internet somewhere 'cause it's not clean, but sorry. OK. This could be cool. I think this would go really well with my scarf because it has a little blue and it has gold. Maybe it will be a little unique from Irene and Nico's. Which makes sense, 'cause, you know, they have those workouts with, like, the rubber bands and stuff. [dance music] That kind of feels like what I've been doing all day. Kyle: Going to tie. I don't know how to tie knots other than just, like, a basic knot, so it's not gonna look necessarily pretty or fancy, but it's gonna work. Well, obviously, I put this on for modest reasons, but I'm gonna try to take the tank top and bra off and then just check how it actually looks and if I'm actually being covered. So. The material's so thin, and mine happens to be, like, slightly sheer, so it didn't look good, but luckily I did find a strapless bra, so I actually am loving how it's looking here. The only problem is.... [error ping] But I'm gonna try to tie this and see if I can tie it over my bra so that it's hidden better. That definitely worked a little better. Irene: Three, two, one, go. Irene: How was it wearing it outside for you guys? 'Cause I thought it was actually really comfortable. I was more just annoyed being in the heat in general. Like, I just don't like being outside, but the top itself, I was surprised. The silk seemed actually like a good material. Like, I didn't get sweaty or anything. It was fine. Like, it felt like I had nothing on. Kyle: It held up pretty well. I mean, as much as you can ask for fabric in, like, 90-degree July weather. Nico: I think that I actually got pretty hot. I was hot outside. It doesn't feel breathable of materials, and it was a hot scorcher of a day when I went outside, but it didn't move at all, which I was really impressed with. These look really, really good, you guys. I'm very impressed with this work, compared to how some of our other ones have gone. Irene: The last one. We tried a TikTok style hack for turning silk scarves into trendy halter tops– here's how to make it work

I'm left to wash all of my dishes by hand, which is fine with me - but it's not fine with my nails.Hand-washing dishes can wreak havoc on a manicure. I find that a regular manicure with plain polish and a topcoat will start to dull or chip after only a few days when I'm consistently washing dishes. This led me to try gel manicures, more heavy-duty treatments that are supposed to last up to two weeks with no chipping. But even they often can't withstand a few loads of dishes, undergoing the same dulling and chipping as a regular mani.This is not only annoying, but costly and time-consuming - whether or not you head to the salon to get your nails done.But recently, I stumbled upon an old trick from the '60s that really extended the life of my manicure: dish gloves.<div class="KonaFilter image-container display-table"><div><div class="image on-image">Tech Insider/Megan Willett</div></div></div>It seems really obvious, but it had never occurred to me to don these yellow rubber gloves when washing the dishes. Whether I do my nails at home, get a plain manicure at a salon, or spring for a more expensive gel manicure, it stays flawless for a markedly longer amount of time if I'm using dish gloves.Let's say I get either a gel manicure ($30 including tip) or a regular manicure ($15 including tip) every two weeks because of the chipping caused by washing dishes. Over the course of a year, I'll spend $360 to $720 on my nails (and that's not including pedicures in summer months).But with my new trick, I find myself going for a manicure only about once a month, maybe twice if I have a special event coming up. This is because my professional manicures last longer and I'm more likely to do my own nails because the dish gloves make even my amateur-level manis last a week or more. So now, if I'm getting my nails done 1.25 times a month, I'll spend $225 to $450 times a year. Amid the swirling crowd of travelers rushing off to their various destinations, I felt mortal again.

With a strong device explosion and internet penetration, Indian users have become a prized target for cybercriminals worldwide. Ten years ago, enterprises typically saw 25 new threats per day, today we see more than 500,000 threats daily. Now consider that according to a global survey conducted by McAfee Labs,1 in 2 surveyed, own between one and four devices that are not protected by either a password or some form of biometric authentication. But it will serve as another layer of security when authenticating into devices, confirming that we are who we say we are. As per a global survey conducted by McAfee Labs, 35% of respondents think fingerprint authentication is the most trusted single factor to unlock devices. 3. Think Before You Click The most common phishing attacks can start with one simple email relying on social engineering. The email usually asks for confirmation of login, password or credit card information and will direct users to a webpage that mirrors the company’s real website. Ensure that you provide personal or financial information only after you verify legitimacy of the website. 4. The Morning After A <keyword id="608402" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="data-breach">Data Breach</keyword> Consumers can’t be solely held responsible for security. Even if you have the best of unique passwords, there are high chances that any service provider can be hacked. In a day and age where cybercrime is an industry, such an event is highly probable. Upon such a discovery, resetting passwords is critical. Follow regular news to stay in touch with the latest industry updates and news on security breaches. 5. Blind Faith In Unsecured Networks In addition to these measures, you also need to ensure that you are always connected to a secure network. 1. Three pieces of economic data were released this morning. ISM's August <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/ism-manufacturing-report-september-2-2014-9">manufacturing index</a> came in at its highest level since March 2011, coming in at 59.0 against expectations for 57.0. Following the report, Ian Shepherdson at Pantheon Macro said, "In one line: Very strong, but probably overstating the true performance of manufacturing." Markit's <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/us-manufacturing-pmi-august-2014-9">August manufacturing</a> PMI came in at 57.9, up from 55.8 in July, and serving as the index's best reading since April 2010. "Improving domestic economic fundamentals remain the key engine of growth. However, there were finally signs of external demand gaining traction in August, despite weakness across the euro area," said Markit senior economist Tim Moore. Construction <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/construction-spending-july-2014-9">spending rebounded sharply</a> in July, jumped 1.8% after falling -0.9% in June. Ian Shepherdson said the report was strong everywhere but housing, and he expects this split to continue.
2. The manufacturing reports also follow a rash of manufacturing data out of Europe yesterday, when U.S. markets were closed for the holiday. The latest run of data shows that U.S. manufacturing is currently the strongest in the world, with <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/us-vs-france-manufacturing-2014-9">France pulling up the rear</a>.
3. Home Depot shares were the Dow's biggest loser, falling more than 2% after security blog <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/home-depot-potential-data-breach-2014-9">Krebs on Security reported</a> that the company may be the victim of a massive data breach involving customer credit cards. Krebs reported that a preliminary analysis showed the breach may include all 2,200 of the company's U.S. stores. In a statement to Business Insider, Home Depot spokesperson Paula Drake said: "At this point, I can confirm that we're looking into some unusual activity and we are working with our banking partners and law enforcement to investigate."
4. Tesla shares were up more than 5% after <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/stifel-tesla-400-price-target-2014-9">Stifel Nicolaus upped its price target</a> on the stock to $400, nearly 50% higher than the stock's pre-Labor Day price. Stifel's James Albertine said that production for the company's Model S has considerably increased from a year ago, but said ultimately momentum behind the stock may be enough to push it higher. "Tesla sentiment is like a freight train, in our view, benefiting from a well-manicured growth story that has caught the eye of a much broader investor base relative to most auto stocks," Albertine said.
5. Staples shares gained more than 8%, while Office Depot added more than 6% after <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/staples-office-depot-merger-note-by-credit-suisse-2014-9">Credit Suisse analyst Gary Balter</a> wrote that the two companies should consider merging. Balter said a combination between the two companies makes "significant" financial sense, and said the cash flow position of Staples makes this company an attractive target for an activist investor or private equity firm. 
6. The IMF <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/afp-imf-warns-west-may-need-to-boost-17-bn-ukraine-rescue-2014-9">issued a report</a> warning that its $17 billion lifeline to Ukraine might not be enough, with Ukraine potentially needing an additional $19 billion un finding by the end of next year. 
7. After the iCloud accounts of more than 100 celebrities were hacked over the weekend, Apple <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/apple-statement-on-celebrity-hacking-2014-9">issued a statement </a>on Tuesday that said, "None of the cases we have investigation ahs resulted from any breach in any of Apple's systems including iCloud of Find my iPhone."

HADERA, <keyword id="6355882" type="COUNTRY" weightage="60" keywordseo="israel">Israel</keyword> (AP) - When Israel's military chief delivered a high-profile speech this month outlining the greatest threats his country might face in the future, he listed computer sabotage as a top concern, warning a sophisticated cyberattack could one day bring the nation to a standstill.
Lt. Gen. Benny Gantz was not speaking empty words. Exactly one month before his address, a major artery in Israel's national road network in the northern city of Haifa was shut down because of a cyberattack, cybersecurity experts tell The Associated Press, knocking key operations out of commission two days in a row and causing hundreds of thousands of dollars in damage.
One expert, speaking on condition of anonymity because the breach of security was a classified matter, said a Trojan horse attack targeted the security camera system in the Carmel Tunnels toll road on Sept. 8. A Trojan horse is a malicious computer program that users unknowingly install that can give hackers complete control over their systems.
The attack caused an immediate 20-minute lockdown of the roadway. The next day, the expert said, it shut down the roadway again during morning rush hour. It remained shut for eight hours, causing massive congestion.
The expert said investigators believe the attack was the work of unknown, sophisticated hackers, similar to the Anonymous hacking group that led attacks on Israeli websites in April. He said investigators determined it was not sophisticated enough to be the work of an enemy government like Iran.
The expert said Israel's National Cyber Bureau, a two-year-old classified body that reports to the prime minister, was aware of the incident. The bureau declined comment, while Carmelton, the company that oversees the toll road, blamed a "communication glitch" for the mishap.
While Israel is a frequent target of hackers, the tunnel is the most high-profile landmark known to have been attacked. It is a major thoroughfare for Israel's third-largest city, and the city is looking to turn the tunnel into a public shelter in case of emergency, highlighting its importance.
The incident is exactly the type of scenario that Gantz described in his recent address. He said Israel's future battles might begin with "a cyberattack on websites which provide daily services to the citizens of Israel. Traffic lights could stop working, the banks could be shut down," he said.
There have been cases of traffic tampering before. In 2005, the United States outlawed the unauthorized use of traffic override devices installed in many police cars and ambulances after unscrupulous drivers started using them to turn lights from red to green. In 2008, two Los Angeles traffic engineers pleaded guilty to breaking into the city's signal system and deliberately snarling traffic as part of a labor dispute.
Oren David, a manager at international security firm RSA's anti-fraud unit, said that although he didn't have information about the tunnel incident, this kind of attack "is the hallmark of a new era."
"Most of these systems are automated, especially as far as security is concerned. . They're automated and they're remotely controlled, either over the Internet or otherwise, so they're vulnerable to cyberattack," he said. Israel, he added, is "among the top-targeted countries."
In June, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Iran and its proxies Hezbollah and Hamas have targeted Israel's "essential systems," including its water system, electric grid, trains and banks.
"Every sphere of civilian economic life, let's not even talk about our security, is a potential or actual cyberattack target," Netanyahu said at the time.
Israeli government websites receive hundreds and sometimes thousands of cyberattacks each day, said Ofir Ben Avi, head of the government's website division.
During Israel's military offensive on the Gaza Strip last year, tens of millions of website attacks took place, from denial of service attacks, which cripple websites by overloading them with traffic, to more sophisticated attempts to steal passwords, Ben Avi said.
Under constant threat, Israel has emerged as a world leader in cybersecurity, with murky military units developing much of the technology. Last year, the military formed its first cyberdefense unit.
Israeli cybersecurity experts say Iran and other hostile entities have successfully hacked into Israeli servers this year, and that Israel has quietly permitted those attacks to occur in order to track the hackers and feed them false intelligence.
Israel is also widely believed to have launched its own sophisticated computer attacks on its enemies, including the Stuxnet worm that caused significant damage to Iran's nuclear program.
Bracing for serious attacks on Israeli civilian infrastructure, Israel's national electric company launched a training program this month to teach engineers and power plant supervisors how to detect system infiltrations.
The Israel Electric Corp. says its servers register about 6,000 unique computer attacks every second.
"Big organizations and even countries are preparing for D-Day," said Yasha Hain, a senior executive vice president at the company. "We decided to prepare ourselves to be first in line."
The training program is run jointly with CyberGym, a cyberdefense company founded by ex-Israeli intelligence operatives that consults for Israeli oil, gas, transportation and financial companies.
On a manicured campus of eucalyptus trees across from a power plant in Israel's north, groups are divided into teams in a role-playing game of hackers and power plant engineers.
The "hackers," code-named the Red Team, sit in a dimly lit room decorated with cartoon villains on the walls. Darth Vader hovers over binary code. Kermit the Frog flashes his middle finger.
In another room, a miniature model of a power station overflows with water and the boiler's thermometer shoots up as the role-playing hackers run a "Kill All" code. The exercise teaches employees how to detect a possible cyberattack even if their computer systems don't register it.
About 25 middle-aged employees attended the first day of training last week. The course will eventually train thousands of workers, the electric company said.
CyberGym co-founder Ofir Hason declined to comment on the toll road shutdown, but said the company has seen a number of cyberattacks on infrastructures in recent years.
The country is especially susceptible because Israel has no electricity-sharing agreements with neighboring states, and all of the country's essential infrastructure depends on the company for power.
"We're an isolated island," he said.
