Social enterprises are fast emerging as sustainability power engines of world economies. They are driven by vision to improve society. They identify and solve societal problems through innovation and technology. They feed the hungry, resolve injustices, educate the illiterate, reach healthcare in the remotest corners of the world to cure the diseases, and protect the environment. Social enterprises are movers and shakers of the twenty first century — they are action oriented, they helped the needy (be it organizations or individuals). They act locally but impact globally. Indian social enterprises have been playing a key role in eliminating societal problems. iKure, an Indian social enterprise delivers primary healthcare, wellness, prevention health services to rural, semi-urban and urban areas and has treated 2.5 million people across 6,400 villages. They reach where no doctor reaches. Similarly, Thaely, founded by Ashay Bhave, 21-year-old former student of Amity University, has been manufacturing shoes from fabric derived from waste plastic bags. Each pair of shoes use a total of 15 plastic bags and 22 bottles that are sourced from scrap processing supermarkets and waste collection zones. Thaely is creating wealth out of waste and solving the societal problem by recycling plastic. Likewise, Dinesh who founded of incrEDIBLE, mass-produces edible from 100 million plastic utensils used every day in U.S. Social enterprises led by social entrepreneurs are solving the problems faced by living beings on planet earth, however they too are faced with one major challenge – and that’s funding. Though most social entrepreneurs self-fund their enterprises during inception, they experience growth challenges due to limited fund availability. As per industry reports, about 50% of all social enterprises have reported that funding is their number one business challenge, while 31% face challenges in attracting senior, and middle management. <keyword id="137810" type="General" weightage="100" keywordseo="tie" source="Orion">TiE</keyword> Sustainability Summit plans to solve both the problems. TSS 2021 hosted by <keyword id="2688812" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="tie-hyderabad" source="Orion">TiE Hyderabad</keyword> is being held between Oct 4-6, 2021, through a virtual platform, will leverage its technology platform to facilitate funding of social enterprises. TiE Sustainability Summit to enable $100 million funding for Social Enterprises

New Delhi, Jun 2 () The district judge of the Rohini District Courts complex here tested positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday, the president of the bar association said. District Judge R P Pandey's wife was found to be COVID-19 positive on Sunday, advocate Mahavir Sharma, the president of the Rohini District Court Bar Association, said. Both are in quarantine and undergoing treatment at home, he added. The judge had last visited the courts complex on Saturday, Sharma said. Four judges, who came in contact with the district judge, got themselves tested for the disease, he said, adding that while the results of two were negative, those of the other two judges were awaited. Besides the judges, the court staff of the district judge also got themselves tested for COVID-19 and their results are yet to come, Sharma said. URD SJK RC

<a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=Rajasthan+Chief+Minister+Vasundhara+Raje+">Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje</a> is expected to be present at the time of signing the deal. 
 
The alliance will substantially enlarge the product portfolio of the ration shops and allow the state government to provide a wide range of household items at cheap prices, reported the Economic Times. 
 
India's largest retailer, on its part, will gain access to 5,000 outlets across the state to sell its private label products and if successful, it can replicate this model in other states as well. 
 
Under the agreement, the PDS and <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=ration+shops+">ration shops</a> will undergo a facelift and be rebranded as Annapurna Bhandar. 
 "The corporation had issued open tender and <keyword id="44949" type="CITY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Future-group">Future Group</keyword> was the successful bidder. Future Group will supply products to our 5,000 outlets in phases," said Mahavir Prasad Sharma, MD, RSFCSC. 
 
At present, the PDS stores stock limited products such as wheat, sugar and kerosene. Annapurna Bhandar will have an expanded product portfolio and sell Future's own brand of food products, <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=FMCG+">FMCG</a> items and other household products whose prices will be determined by the state government. 
 
"Prices will obviously be lower than the market price. That's why Biyani's private labels will work here," said a person familiar with the development. 
 
A state government official said the PDS stores will also start home delivery of grocery items. The group currently operates KB Fair Price, a striped down chain of discount stores. 
 
The person familiar with the development said in normal course, PDS stores would see heightened activity for the first week of the month when people visit these shops to stock up on the monthly quota of provisions. 
 
The idea behind forging the alliance with Future Group is to keep the stores buzzing throughout the month by stocking a gamut of daily-need grocery items at low prices," the person said. 
 Future Group operates around 500 large and small supermarkets nationwide and its various formats include the <keyword id="6357823" type="COMPANY" weightage="60" keywordseo="Big-Bazaar">Big Bazaar</keyword> hypermarket chain and Central department store. In May this year, it acquired <keyword id="117289" type="COMPANY" weightage="60" keywordseo="Bharti-Retail">Bharti Retail</keyword> in an all-stock deal.
