So, what makes the Asus Vivobook S15 powered by <keyword id="20301169" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="snapdragon-x-elite" source="keywords">Snapdragon X Elite</keyword> chip special? The moment you lay your eyes on it, you will know it is a productivity laptop built to get things done. It is quite lightweight as well and I could carry it around in one hand across the newsroom without any problem. The laptop also didn’t take up much space in my backpack, and I could easily carry a lot of other stuff in the same bag. <br /><br />The aluminium body, with a metallic finish silver colour, feels premium and durable. On the left of the lid is the subtle but noticeable Asus Vivobook branding. <br /><br />As gorgeous as the laptop looks, it collects dust pretty easily. There is also some slight flex when you put some pressure on the lid. There is also a Micro SD card reader as well as a 3mm headphone jack on the left edge.<br /><br />There are no ports at the back which honestly is great since I don’t like struggling while finding the charging port at the back when I am seated at my workstation. However, since all the ports are on the sides of the laptop, your work desk could seem cluttered if you connect a lot of wired accessories. In addition to this, there is no ethernet port which could be a downside for some users whose offices don’t have WiFi and rely on LAN cables. <br /><br />Talking about the keyboard, it is quite easy to adapt to and results in a tactile feel. I use a mechanical keyboard as my daily driver and the keyboard of the Asus Vivobook S15 made me feel at home. With that being said, the keys aren’t really loud so you won’t get side-eyes from your colleagues while you go about your day.<br /><br />      <div type="image" title="2" msid="113314453" hostid="261" caption="&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;Asus Vivobook&amp;lt;span class=&amp;quot;redactor-invisible-space&amp;quot;&amp;gt; s15 keyboard&amp;lt;/span&amp;gt;&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;"></div><br />The evenly spaced out keys as well as a single RGB lit zone further enhances the look and feel of the keyboard.<br /><br />The trackpad is pretty responsive too and does its job well. However, I felt it was slightly larger than I would normally want it to be. At times, even while typing, my palms kept touching the trackpad which posed a slight challenge. This is not a deal-breaker as one will get used to it after a few days of using it. <br /><br />The trackpad is also equipped with some cool functions. Swiping up and down on the right edge would lower and increase brightness whereas the left edge can be used for volume control. Both these come pretty handy while working in an office.<br /><br /><h2>Display</h2><br />The laptop comes with a 15.6-inch, 3K (2880 x 1620) OLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut. The display captures attention when your laptop is kept open. A few of my colleagues also heaped praises on the display saying it looks attractive. While the glossy display results in crystal clear and crisp graphics, it can also be reflective which can pose a challenge. Even with full brightness, I was sometimes struggling to see what was being displayed on my screen. I travel in cabs a lot and could easily get my work done even when the sun shined with all its might through the cab windows. <br /><br />The thin bezels and vibrant colours further enhance the overall experience. I also used the laptop to watch some episodes of shows like The Big Bang Theory and Modern Family and had nothing to complain about as far as the entertainment experience was concerned. <br /><br /><h2>Performance</h2>One thing that the Asus Vivobook S15 made headlines for was the Snapdragon X Elite processor with Qualcomm AI engine. Usually, you would find Intel or AMD-powered laptops in the market but Asus is trying something new here. And it pays off. The ARM-based processor posed no challenges during my daily work and the laptop didn’t hang or lag during my usage. <br /><br />I have about 10-15 tabs open at once while working and also tend to play some songs on YouTube from time to time. I could also attend my work video meetings with ease and the laptop has a decent in-built camera. However, I recommend using headphones as the laptop speakers, located at the bottom, are sort of underwhelming. They are barely loud enough to fill a room but seem to be lacking in bass. When I played a track on this laptop as well as the MacBook Pro, the MacBook’s voice overpowered quickly. <br /><br />Being an avid gamer, I wanted to try out Ghost of Tsushima on this laptop but couldn’t get it to run. I did play Mortuary Assistant on this and the game did run, but with a few lags. Hence, the laptop isn’t for heavy gamers (nor does it want to be). And there are a couple of features that you can use. For instance, the laptop offers live webcam effects, like background blurring and artistic filters. This comes in handy while attending meetings or just video-calling friends and family. <br /><br />While the background blur is practical, the filters are more for fun. Windows 11 is supposed to automatically crop and pan the webcam to keep your face in the frame, but this feature didn’t work consistently. Meanwhile, image and audio quality enhancements occur automatically in the background.<br /><br />      <div type="image" title="10" msid="113314588" hostid="261" caption="&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;Asus Vivobook&amp;lt;span class=&amp;quot;redactor-invisible-space&amp;quot;&amp;gt; s15&amp;lt;/span&amp;gt; comes with AI tools&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;"></div><br /><br />Yet another feature is Microsoft Paint’s new Cocreator tool, which not only responds to text prompts but also turns simple sketches into detailed drawings. Now I am no artist but I did try out a basic prompt that was in the suggestion box. And I think the image of a turtle swimming is quite impressive.<br /><br />    <div type="image" title="76dfc6d2-5463-4a51-8a09-4b00faa512af" height="900" width="1200" msid="113314889" hostid="261"></div><br /><br />The Copilot app, which is also available online for free, is built into this laptop. The chatbot can help you search the web, generate images and more. However, the app doesn’t work without the internet. <br /><br />Asus has also contributed its own AI-driven tool, StoryCube, for managing photos and videos. This tool offers various display options and allows for quick grouping, tagging, and organization. Additionally, the NPU also supports features like presence detection, which can dim or lock the screen when you step away, all while conserving battery life.<br /><br />Hence, even though the current AI features on the laptop are decent, they don't yet seem life-changing. With that being said, a much-anticipated Copilot+ feature, Recall, which was supposed to index all activity on your PC to allow for easy information retrieval, has been delayed due to security concerns.<br /><br /><h2>Battery</h2><br />One area where the Asus Vivobook S15 shines is the battery. I used the laptop at 50 per cent brightness at work and didn’t need to charge it for over a day and a half. However, I had turned the RGB-lit keyboard off and only used Google Chrome and MS Word during this time. <br /><br />My usual workday lasts for about 9 hours. With an even lower brightness and battery-saver mode enabled, the battery might last even longer. Hence, Asus’ promise of up to 18 hours of battery life seems to hold true.<br /><br />      <div type="image" title="7" msid="113314620" hostid="261" caption="&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;Asus Vivobook&amp;lt;span class=&amp;quot;redactor-invisible-space&amp;quot;&amp;gt; s15&amp;lt;/span&amp;gt; comes with great battery life&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;"></div><br /><br />When I did turn the RGB light on and put the laptop in maximum brightness, the battery lasted for barely 8 hours. <br /><br />Meanwhile, with RGB light turned on and maximum brightness, I saw the battery drop to 81 per cent from 99 per cent in 1 hour and 40 minutes. While gaming, the laptop’s battery dropped to 88 per cent from a full 100 per cent in half an hour. <br /><br /><h2>Verdict</h2><br />The Asus Vivobook S15 is a solid option for those who want a gorgeous design, portability, and battery life in a laptop. Its premium build and high-quality display make it ideal for professionals who need a reliable device for work and occasional entertainment. <br /><br />Given its price point, it’s best suited for users who value its aesthetics and longevity over more budget-friendly or performance-heavy options. If you're looking for a stylish and durable laptop that can easily handle business tasks and look good doing it, the Vivobook S15 is worth considering.<br /><br /><h2>About the <keyword id="23152455" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="Asus-Marshmallow-Mouse" source="keywords">ASUS Marshmallow Mouse</keyword><br /></h2><br />Along with the Vivobook S15, I also received the Asus Marshmallow Mouse and have been using it as my daily driver. At a glance, the mouse appears to be yet another minimalist addition to your work setup. It comes with a slim form factor and aesthetically pleasing design. In the box, you also get an additional top cover which can be swapped. I have been using the gorgeous Brave Green colour variant of the cover. There is also a Lilac colour option. <br /><br />For ease of being carried around, the mouse comes with a carrying strap that you can easily slide your fingers into. While I was easily able to do this, somebody with thicker fingers might struggle at this part.<br /><br />        <div type="image" title="14" msid="113314712" hostid="261" caption="&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;Asus Marshmallow Mouse is easy to carry&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;"></div> <br /><br />Coming to the most important part, the clicks! The Asus Marshmallow mouse features silent clicks that are perfect for quiet working environments. In the middle, there is also a scroll wheel that works well. The mouse can be used in Bluetooth mode or wirelessly with a receiver that can be attached to your laptop. It would be the first instance that a product manufactured by <keyword id="1381889" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="honda-cars-india" source="Orion">Honda Cars India</keyword> Ltd (HCIL), a wholly-owned unit of the Japanese firm, will be exported to the highly regulated Japanese market. <br /><br /> HCIL is rolling out Elevate from its Tapukara (Rajasthan-based) production facility. <br /><br /> "After its successful debut in India earlier this year, Elevate is scheduled for Spring 2024 launch in the Japanese market under the brand name WR-V," an HCIL spokesperson said in a statement. <br /><br /> In a first for HCIL, the model will be manufactured in India and exported to Japan, it added. <br /><br /> "This strategic move is a strong reflection of manufacturing capabilities of India operations and also solidifies our vision of making the country a key export hub in Honda business," the spokesperson said. <br /><br /> The company's Tapukara-based plant is fully equipped to take care of the domestic as well as export requirements, the spokesperson added. <br /><br /> HCIL introduced Elevate in the domestic market in September this year. <br /><br /> Starting with the model, the company aims to introduce five SUV models in the domestic market by 2030. <br /><br /> The company also plans to bring a battery-electric version of Elevate within the next three years. <br /><br /> The model is powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine paired with a six-speed manual and a seven-speed continuously variable transmission (CVT).

At first look, you may get an iPhone-like look, with people even mistaking it for an iPhone during my usage, but this clears up immediately after looking at the pill-shaped camera module.<br /><br />The aluminium frame comes with a glossy finish and is slightly slippery. The aluminium frame also attracts dust fingerprint smudges easily. The display is excellent, with the high refresh rate offering a good experience while gaming and watching content.<br /><br /><h2>Software and performance</h2>The Pixel 9 Pro XL runs on Android 14 out of the box and is promised to get seven years of Android updates and security patches. The software is the highlight of the Pixel lineup and the Pixel 9 Pro XL is no different. The device offers an Android experience as imagined by Google, the operating system maker.<br /><br />As expected, the device comes loaded with AI features in the form of Gemini. To enable users to make the most out of the AI features, Google is offering a one-year premium subscription to Pixel 9 Pro XL users, giving them access to Gemini Advanced, 2TB of Google Drive storage and more.<br /><br />The device comes pre-installed with Pixel Studio, a new GenAI image generation app from Google, allowing users to generate images easily on the go.<br /><br />You also get access to Gemini Live, a live-chat version of Gemini, which allows for voice-enabled interactions.<br /><br />In what might excite most photography enthusiasts like myself, the device also comes with a more powerful Magic Editor, giving access to a ton of new tools.<br /><br />Talking about AI and photography, the new Add Me feature is excellent, especially for those who often end up being the ones to take group pictures and regret not being in them. The new Add Me feature allows you to take a group picture and then hand your phone to your friend and then join the group for another picture, then using AI to blend them into one image to make the perfect group picture.<br /><br />I used this feature during one of my trips and found it to be quite useful. Once you get the hang of it and remember to stand in the correct place, it works quite well.<br /><br />The Pixel 9 Pro XL is powered by the Google Tensor G4 chipset built on Samsung’s 4nm process. It comes with 16GB of RAM and offers up to 512GB of internal storage.<br /><br />If you are hoping for a drastic performance improvement compared to the predecessor, you might be disappointed. It offers an incremental improvement in performance but can easily handle everything that you throw at it.<br /><br />One area the chipset and the device has improved a lot over the Pixel 8 Pro is thermal management and proper connectivity. These were some of my biggest issues with the last-gen devices and Google has made a significant improvement in this aspect.<br /><br />The Pixel 9 Pro XL is powered by a 5,060mAh battery with 37W wired and 23W wireless charging support. The portrait mode is excellent in both daylight and indoor conditions.<br /><br /><div type="image" title="n" msid="115487621" hostid="261" sizebytes="147076" caption="&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;Image captured using night mode&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;"></div><br />The Pixel 9 Pro XL also performs excellently in low-light and night conditions, capturing well-detailed, colour-accurate photos despite the challenging lighting conditions. The images turned out to be sharp and clear, with adequate details and minimal noise.<br /><br />On the front, the Pixel 9 Pro XL features a 42MP selfie camera. The front camera can easily capture good selfies in normal lighting and low light conditions.<br /><br /><h2>Verdict</h2>The Pixel 9 Pro XL is the best device in the current Pixel lineup and one of the best Android smartphones out there. The device offers an excellent user experience, a premium design and good cameras. The device does not feel heavy to hold and can be used with one hand with ease.<br /><br />The G54 5G comes with curved edges at the back, which makes it easier to hold. It comes with polycarbonate back with matte finish that gives it a metallic look. The back prevents fingerprint smudges and can be easily cleaned.<br /><br />The device comes with a rectangular camera module at the back with two camera cut-outs. It offers good brightness and is visible even in sunlight.<br /><cmsannotation type="cmsannotation" annotationid="Software and performance" comment="subhead" text="Software and performance"><span data-til="noop">Software and performance</span></cmsannotation><br />The software is one of the areas where the Moto G54 5G offers both good and bad experiences. The smartphone runs on Android 13 out of the box with the company’s My UX and offers a clutter-free UI. While it is not stock, it offers a near-stock experience.<br /><br />While there are no advertisements, the device does come with some pre-installed applications such as Candy Crush, LinkedIn and Magic Tiles 3. The number of pre-installed applications are minimal and can be easily uninstalled.<br /><br />The biggest issue with the device is that the company has promised only one Android update – to Android 14, which is almost here. This means that the device will not get any major software update after that, while still getting security updates for three years.<br /><br />The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7020 chipset and comes with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. While it is not an extremely powerful chipset, it can handle day-to-day tasks with ease.<br /><br />I tried popular titles such as Battlegrounds Mobile India and Asphalt 9 on the device. The Moto G54 5G offers a good gaming experience, even with Full HD graphics enabled.<br /><br />It is equipped with a large 6,000mAh battery with 30W charging support. However, the colours are slightly undersaturated.<br /><br />Images captured in low-light turned out decently, however, there was noticeable noise in the images. I used it as my primary phone doing daily chores like checking emails, running Slack, Maps on Android Auto, games, camera and music alongside the usual social media scanning and calls. So far, the performance has been doing justice to the price and there are only a few phones in its price range that can pull off everything with such ease. <br /><br />I tested multiple apps on the phone, and it didn't falter even once. If you aren’t happy with these, you also have the option to download more from the Play Store.<br /><br />The Galaxy Watch Ultra comes with its own watch face, offering a red-coloured night mode.<br /><br />Like most gadgets these days, the watch also comes with AI baked in, allowing you to quickly reply to messages and more.<br /><br />One issue that I faced with the watch is that for some important features such as taking an electrocardiogram (ECG) or getting a blood pressure report, you will need to connect to a Samsung smartphone. These features are not available on other Android smartphones.<br /><br /><h2>Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra features and performance</h2>The Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra is powered by the Exynos W1000 chipset, equipped with a 5-core CPU, which is claimed to offer nearly four times better performance than its predecessor, along with 30% improved power efficiency. The chipset is paired with 2GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage.<br /><br />The Galaxy Watch Ultra comes with a new Siren feature, allowing you to hold down the Action Button to enable a loud siren, which can come in handy during emergencies.<br /><br />Samsung has packed the device with features and offers a ton of health tracking sensors. It comes with a new Samsung BioActive Sensor, which includes an optical bio-signal sensor, electrical heart signal and bioelectrical impedance analysis sensor.<br /><br />The watch also comes with an optical heart rate sensor, a temperature sensor, a light sensor, a geomagnetic sensor and more.<br /><br />For positioning, the Galaxy Watch Ultra comes with L1+LG dual-frequency GPS, offering improved accuracy.<br /><br />The watch accurately offers activity and fitness tracking, making it a great option for those looking for accurate activity tracking in a smartwatch.<br /><br />The watch was also accurately able to track my sleep patterns, along with blood oxygen during sleep, skin temperature, heart rate and respiratory rate. If you track your sleep regularly for seven days, it starts offering more insights about your sleep patterns and also offers recommendations.<br /><br />Another area where Samsung has deployed AI is to determine your energy score. It uses aspects such as sleep time and activity to help you determine your energy levels for the day. It also offers suggestions if any particular thing needs your attention.<br /><br />One of the key health metrics that the watch offers is ECG and BP tracking.<br /><br />The watch offers alerts for abnormally high or low heart rates and can detect irregular heart rhythms that can indicate atrial fibrillation.<br /><br />The Galaxy Watch Ultra is powered by a 590mAh battery, which is claimed to offer up to 100 hours of battery life with workout detection in power-saving mode.<br /><br />With AOD and regular HR tracking enabled, I managed to squeeze out nearly three days of battery life from the device, which is quite good.<br /><br />Samsung has offered a wireless magnetic charger with the watch and it does not work with regular wireless chargers. It takes nearly 2 hours to charge, so you need to plan accordingly.<br /><br /><h2>Verdict</h2>The Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra is a feature-packed watch and is the only such option in the market. While watches from Garmin are packed with health tracking features, they lack the OS that Samsung offers and are not as fun to use.<br /><br />The Galaxy Watch Ultra ticks all the right boxes, including a vibrant display, durable design, excellent health and activity tracking and a decent battery life. The soft-touch finish ensures that the laptop is protected from fingerprint smudges and dust.<br /><br />While a lot of premium gaming laptops these days are trying to blend in with minimalistic designs, the Legion 9i isn’t imitating this trend. The Mini LED panel ensures excellent visuals with amazing contrast.<br /><br />The laptop’s display comes with support for Nvidia G-Sync, which along with the 165Hz refresh rate offers a great experience while gaming.<br /><br />I played games like Red Dead Redemption 2 and Starfield on the laptop, with the device offering amazing visuals at maximum settings.<br /><br /><h2>Performance</h2>The Lenovo Legion 9i is equipped with the Intel Core i9- 13980HX processor. The laptop is available with 32GB LPDDR5 6400 MHz RAM and 1TB PCIe Gen4 NVMe M.2 SSD.<br /><br />The graphic duties are handled by the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 16GB GDDR6 graphics.<br /><br />I tested the laptop with several games, including games such as Red Dead Redemption 2 and Starfield. Both the games performed well and the laptop was able to handle them without any issues. The laptop was able to handle these games without any issues while playing at maximum settings. Considering the hardware, you will be able to handle everything that you throw at it.<br /><br />The laptop’s cooling technology can keep the device cool during extended gaming sessions so you don’t have to worry about performance throttling.<br /><br />The laptop is equipped with a 99.9 Wh battery and offers a decent battery life. It offers around five hours of battery life but this will significantly come down if you game on it.<br /><br />The laptop offers stereo speakers with audio optimized by HARMAN. While it is always a good idea to use headphones while gaming, the audio from the speakers is also excellent.<br /><br /><h2>Verdict</h2>The Lenovo Legion 9i ticks a lot of the right boxes, including powerful hardware, excellent display, and premium design. It also has a lot of gaming-centric design touches, which shows the effort that went into the device. It comes with a six core CPU, including four efficiency cores and two performance cores.<br /><br />Apple has claimed that the chipset on the iPhone 16 is 30% faster than the A16 Bionic chipset on the iPhone 15. It is claimed to deliver the same performance as its predecessor with 30% less power.<br /><br />The GPU performance is up to 40% faster than the iPhone 15’s GPU and is claimed to offer similar performance with 35% less power.<br /><br />The new chipset brings support for AAA games such as Resident Evil Biohazard and Assassin's Creed Mirage. It also brings support for the new Honor of Kings World. The chipset comes with hardware-accelerated ray tracing.<br /><br />The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus come with a host of new Apple Intelligence features. The new camera control feature will allow users to use the new “Visual Intelligence”.<br /><br />The device also comes with Emergency SOS and Find My Via Satellite in 17 countries. At the moment, this feature is not available in India.<br /><br />The Apple iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus are equipped with a new 48MP primary camera with f/1.6 aperture and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera with autofocus and f/2.2 aperture. The primary camera uses a quad-pixel sensor that combines every four pixels into one large quad pixel.<br /><br />The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus offer a larger battery, which is claimed to offer a bigger battery life.
