The series C funding comprises USD 15-million in <keyword id="21822065" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="equity-closure" source="keywords">equity closure</keyword>, as part of its ongoing USD 50-million round, which comprises USD 40-million in equity and USD 10-million in debt, the company said in a statement. The fresh capital raised under Series C, in which other investors existing investors 9unicorns, IAN fund, venture catalysts, WFC and others also participated, will be utilised to expand Zypp's fleet from 21,000 to 2-lakh electric scooters and extend its services to 15 cities across India by 2026, it added. The fresh investment will help Zypp in the last-mile delivery space with sustainable EV solutions, said Akash Gupta, Co-founder and CEO of Zypp Electric. "We are eager to expand our fleet and enhance our tech platform, driving significant growth across India. These funds will be utilised to drive the company towards the full path of growth along with earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) profitability," he added. Further, Zypp Electric said it has forayed into the three-wheeler cargo business and claims of soon crossing 1,000 electric L5 loaders in its EV fleet and added that the company is set to cater to a wider range of business needs while maximising revenue streams, among others. According to Zypp Electric, it clocked Rs 325-crore revenue in FY 2023-24 and launched operations in Mumbai and Hyderabad recently. "In India, the last-mile delivery market is skyrocketing especially within urban areas. Zypp is operating its business as a pioneer in the EV motorcycle delivery market with competitiveness and this is the reason why we made the decision to invest," ENEOS was quoted as saying in the statement. Zypp Electric raises $15 million funding in Series C Round

Space-tech company Skyroot raises ₹225 cr in pre-Series C funding

FreshToHome raises $104 mn in Series D funding round led by Amazon Smbhav Venture Fund

New Delhi, E-commerce aggregation platform <keyword id="4178573" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="ShipRocket">Shiprocket</keyword> on Thursday announced it has raised $27 million (nearly 200 Crore) in <keyword id="45633" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="series">Series</keyword> C3 funding. The company said it will use the fresh funds towards aggressive product development roadmap, which includes hiring top talent across product, data, and engineering functions. The funds will also focus on the company's new strategic initiatives, including expanding globally. The fresh funding round was co-led by Tribe Capital, a leading Silicon Valley-based venture capital firm, along with March Capital, a Santa Monica-based venture growth firm. "Shiprocket is the first and the largest D2C shipping enabler in India today. With the growth in D2C as a share of overall <keyword id="436047" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Ecommerce">eCommerce</keyword>, there is a growing opportunity to enable the full-stack of services in the post-purchase journey of the D2C consumer," said Saahil Goel, CEO and Co-founder, Shiprocket. The latest round brings Shiprocket's total funding to $53 million. Shiprocket is now looking to hire product managers and engineers after raising $27 million in funds

With the current round of fund raise, the company wants to drive credit uptake in the economy especially for the unserved and underserved segment of the population. "With a larger portfolio of loan products, our objective is to provide credit to over 180 million New-to-Credit customers who were not provided formal credit earlier. The group launched its flagship brand KreditBee in May 2018, focused on full-stack digital lending for young professionals. The platform specialises in providing digital personal loans and consumer durable loans to both salaried and self-employed. The loan amount disbursed can go as high as ₹2 lakh while the tenures range from two months to 15 months. The company said it currently has over 1,200 employees and a user base of over 20 million with over 4 million credit customers. The platform plans to diversify its product offering by venturing into digitally-enabled secured loans, home loans and credit line. Lending startup KreditBee gets ₹545 crore from Premji invest, Mirae Asset and others

Taylor said that the site had around 200 million users and two million creators with "very vast, very spread out, diverse content.""We will not push you down a rabbit hole," Blair said, adding that the company doesn't use algorithms to direct users towards recommended content.She said that the site doesn't monetize data and would never offer advertisements."Your data's not a product," Blair said.OnlyFans, which was founded in 2016, allows creators to post content on the site, with some available for free and other items accessible only through a paid subscription. The platform is used by creators ranging from musicians to comedians but has become best known for its explicit content."We are in the headlines constantly," so "we do have this incredible brand recognition," Blair said. But she added that this had led to a "misconception about our brand." <ul class="summary-list"><li>Locus Robotics raised $117 million in a round led by Goldman Sachs.</li><li>The Series F round brings the company's valuation to nearly $2 billion.</li></ul>Locus Robotics announced a $117 million Series F round Tuesday, led by Goldman Sachs' growth equity division and G2 Venture Partners — both new investors. Goldman Managing Director Mark Midle, who will be joining Locus' board, called the company a "market leader" in the warehouse automation space in a statement accompanying this announcement. Locus CEO Rick Faulk told Insider that Goldman, G2, and other investors in the oversubscribed round have been watching Locus for more than four years. Faulk's ambition to take the company public in the next year or two encouraged him to bring new talent to the board. "If the window does open, hopefully in the next 12 to 24 months, we're ready to go. We've got the numbers to do it," Faulk told Insider. Locus's core product is a "co-bot" — a 5-foot tall robot with a small screen on top and a 2-foot circular base that can hold a box, bin, or shelves. Human workers take items off of warehouse shelves and the robots show up to ferry the items to a conveyor belt or packing station. The system cuts miles of walking out of workers' shifts, according to the company, and ups productivity by a factor of two or three. Crucially, it offers a relatively straightforward integration process for warehouses, according to the company.The company now has more than $100 million in contracted, recurring revenue, said Faulk. The pandemic spring boarded robotics adoption in e-commerce warehouses, and a tight labor market has kept demand high. But that doesn't mean all warehouse robotics startups are flourishing. Venture funding is tightening and those without proven results are in trouble, Faulk said. Beyond the efficiency brought by the robots themselves, Locus's "robots-as-a-service" business model doesn't require a multi-million upfront purchase, which makes it an easier sell for warehouse operations. Faulk said it's also more resistant to corporate belt-tightening because over the course of multi-year contracts, warehouses get more efficient at utilizing the system, which drives down their costs per order. Founded in 2014, Locus robots are in use in more than 320 warehouses around the world. Existing customers include <a href="https://www.supplychaindive.com/news/dhl-locus-robotics-partnership-fulfillment-carhartt/632760/">DHL</a>, Geodis, CEVA Logistics, Whiplash, Radial, and more. While waiting for a more favorable climate for an IPO, Faulk said, Locus will grow its headcount to 500 this year from 280 at the end of 2021, expand into the Asian market, and consider acquisitions "opportunistically."
