<ul><li>Through a pilot, Livspace said that it already has a $15 million gross revenue run rate and is growing at 25% month-on-month in Singapore. </li><li>Livspace is also investing $30 million to grow its business in Singapore. </li><li>Earlier this year, Livspace had raised funding from Ingka Group – a key franchise partner of Swedish furniture giant, IKEA.</li></ul>Home interiors and renovation platform Livspace has entered the Singapore market. Through a six-month long pilot, the startup said that it already has a $15 million gross revenue run rate and is growing at 25% month-on-month. Livspace is also investing $30 million to grow its business in Singapore – drive demand, hire talent, build design experience centres and develop a regional supply chain. “Over the next 30 months, we aim to build Livspace into a US$500 million business operating across APAC and solve the renovation problem for tens of thousands of homeowners. Singapore marks the first step in our APAC growth and will serve as the headquarters for our global expansion,” said Livspace’s CEO and Co-Founder, Anuj Srivastava. It has also brought ex-Mckinsey and Grab executive Ravindran Shanmugam on board as the country head of Singapore. In India, the company claims to have an 80% market share and works with 3,500 registered designers and has designed 20,000 homes. In May 2019, Livspace had raised funding from Ingka Group – a key franchise partner of Swedish furniture giant, IKEA. The Ingka Group owns and operates 367 IKEA stores contributing to 90% of IKEA’s total retail sales. In September 2018, Livspace raised $70 million in a Series C round funding from TPG Growth and Goldman Sachs, along with its existing investors Jungle Ventures, Bessemer Venture Partners and Helion Ventures.

<ul><li><keyword id="3143174" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="pharmeasy" source="Orion">PharmEasy</keyword> currently has a workforce of 6,100+ employees, but it is planning to hire more people for its new development centers.</li><li>PharmEasy offers a range of services such as teleconsultation, medicine deliveries, and sample collections for diagnostic tests.</li><li>The company acquired Thyrocare in June 2021, which opened the door for its public listing this year.</li></ul>Online pharmacy company PharmEasy, which is working towards an initial public offering (IPO) soon, is looking to hire over 200 engineers for its new development centers in Hyderabad, Pune and the national capital region surrounding New Delhi. The Mumbai-based startup currently has a workforce of over 6,100 employees. Seven-year old PharmEasy claims that the initiative to launch a new development centre coincides with the increased digital adoption due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The company claims that this increased customer demand has also increased the demand for tech skills across the spectrum. “The new facilities will serve as a significant hub for driving development and innovation,” Abhinav Yajurvedi, chief technology officer (CTO) of PharmEasy. Founded by Dharmil Sheth, Dhaval Shah, Harsh Parekh, Hardik Dedhia, and Siddharth Shah, PharmEasy caters to the chronic care segment and offers a range of services such as teleconsultation, medicine deliveries, and sample collections for diagnostic tests. It operates a business-to-business (B2B) pharma marketplace with 6,000 consultation clinics with 90,000 partner retailers pan India. PharmEasy’s parent company API Holdings became the first Indian startup to acquire a publicly listed company, after it acquired A Velumani-led diagnostics chain Thyrocare Technologies for ₹4,546 crore ($612 million) in June. This acquisition has opened doors for the seven-year-old startup to list on the stock exchange directly. A reverse listing, on the other hand, is acquisition of a private company by an existing public company, so that the private company can bypass the lengthy and complex process of going public. Online pharmacy startup PharmEasy is looking to hire 200 engineers in Hyderabad, Pune and Delhi before the IPO

Mr. <keyword id="6360722" type="PERSON" weightage="80" keywordseo="ratan-tata">Ratan Tata</keyword>, Chairman Emeritus, <keyword id="46894" type="PERSON" weightage="80" keywordseo="Tata-Sons">Tata Sons</keyword>, will come on board as a Special Advisor to Singapore-based venture capital fund <keyword id="969909" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="80" keywordseo="Jungle-Ventures">Jungle Ventures</keyword>. 
 
In his role as Special Advisor, Mr. Tata will spend time with Jungle’s portfolio of companies to help them build category leadership across global markets. Jungle has made investments in 30 Asian startups including Zipdial (recently acquired by Twitter), LiveSpace, Tradegecko, CrayonData, Fastacash and travelmob. 
 
Welcoming Mr. Tata on board, Anurag Srivastava, Founding and Managing Partner, Jungle Ventures said, “I have had the good fortune of working with Mr. Tata in the past and feel honoured to have this opportunity again to work with him. With his wealth of experience, there is probably no better advisor that we can have in this part of the world, to mentor us and our portfolio of companies.” 
 
Some of the other advisors that currently work with Jungle and their start-ups include Gokul Rajaram, Product Engineering Lead at Square, Lim Dershing, Founder of JobsCentral and Alon Sobol, Director of ISP/ Telco Relationships for Spotify. Jungle Ventures launched with a $10 million seed-to-early stage fund in 2012 and is currently raising a second fund with a much bigger corpus.
