Kia showcases Concept EV9 electric car with solar panels, Carnival KA4 MPV

The bookings of BYD ATTO 3 have been very encouraging, and we are all set to start the first deliveries from January 2023," said Gopalakrishnan. Maruti Suzuki, in its earlier filing in December 2022, had said it was forced to pass on the increased cost pressures it was facing to the customers. “The Company continues to witness increased cost pressure driven by overall inflation and recent regulatory requirements. In January 2022, the prices of its cars were hiked in the range of ₹21,000-30,000. Earlier in January, Maruti Suzuki had reported a decline in sales for December 2022. The company sold 1.12 lakh cars in December 2022, down from 1.23 lakh in December 2021. The automaker took the biggest hit in the mini, compact and mid-size segments as the sales in these segments fell to 68,421 units in December 2022, from 86,869 units in December 2021. These segments include cars like the Swift and the Baleno. Maruti Suzuki announces price hike – cars to get costlier by 1.1% from today

The company is a subsidiary of Jupiter Wagons Ltd (<keyword id="13148082" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="jwl" source="Orion">JWL</keyword>), manufacturer of wagons, high-speed brake systems, and railway and engineering equipment. The company has formed a joint venture with EA GreenPower Pvt Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of GreenPower Motor Company Inc, a publicly listed firm in the US and Canada specialising in electric commercial vehicles in the passenger transportation and freight transport markets. The two EVs -- <keyword id="16043423" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="jupiter-tez" source="Orion">Jupiter TEZ</keyword> (2.2 ton) and EV STar CC (7 ton) -- will help meet the pressing needs of the country, JWL managing director <keyword id="2964275" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="vivek-lohia" source="Orion">Vivek Lohia</keyword> said at the <keyword id="13421246" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="auto-expo-2023" source="Orion">Auto Expo 2023</keyword> here. Auto Expo 2023: Jupiter Electric Mobility launches two commercial EVs

The EV is underpinned by the E-GMP platform that also underpins the Kia EV6 which is already on sale in India, and the Ioniq 5 also gets Level 2 ADAS features. Electric scooter sales grow 26% in January as Bajaj, Ather jostle behind TVS and Ola

Before the pandemic threw a wrench into car manufacturing and buying, a few special and hard-to-find models — like a <a href="https://www.businessinsider.com/chevrolet-corvette-mid-engine-review-c8-horsepower-price-specs-chevy-2020-10">next-generation Chevy Corvette</a> — might have sold for above their new retail price even slightly used, Brauer said. Now that's true of everyday vehicles like Toyota Corollas. But there's good news: This year, lightly used cars are, on average, more than 8% cheaper than their new equivalent.
