The diva who owns millions of hearts all over the world didn’t look a bit nervous when she made her first appearance at the prestigious <keyword id="6362016" type="ENTERTAINMENT" weightage="100" keywordseo="Cannes-film-festival">Cannes film festival</keyword> as the brand ambassador of global cosmetic brand L’Oreal Paris. 
 
Looking stunning in a strapless black Oscar De La Renta dress, the beautiful actress arrived for the opening ceremony where the French drama film La Tete Haute was screened. The actress who is known for her chic fashion sense chose to sport a side swept hairdo for her auburn hair with minimal makeup. 
 
The image was shared on Twitter with her account especially created for her Cannes visit, operational under the handle <a href="https://twitter.com/KatrinaAtCannes">@KatrinaAtCannes</a>. 
 
Although the organizers had requested stars and visitors to not take selfies on the red carpet, the actress couldn’t stop from capturing the moment when she met Hollywood actress Julianne Moore. 
 
 
 
Earlier in the day, Katrina had donned a black and white MILLY ensemble for her interaction with the media. 
 
 
 
It looks like the star really wants to play it safe by choosing neutral colors and not being too loud to the eyes. 
 
Here’s hoping that Katrina chooses something a bit fancier for her second and final appearance today evening.

In her second and final performance in the Cannes Film Festival, <keyword id="143" type="CITY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Bollywood">Bollywood</keyword> beauty <keyword id="6354850" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Katrina-Kaif">Katrina Kaif</keyword> vowed the guests and the audience alike as she walked the red carpet in a fire engine red dress. 
 The fitting <keyword id="349033" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Elie-Saab">Elie Saab</keyword> dress styled by Michael Angel was well complimented by a sleek red belt at the waist. While there were many who captured the red-carpet appearance of Katrina, the actress looked all the more excited as she kept on tweeting her pictures while getting ready for the red carpet. 
 
Not only did she post a picture of her Elie Saab shoes, she also posted a picture as she got her hair and makeup done, stating the names of both her hair designer Stephen Lancien and make-up artist Charlotte Willer. 
 
 
 
Choosing a monochrome dress for her media interaction and a black gown for her first red carpet appearance, it looks like the actress was saving the best for the last.

Katrina Kaif rules the ‘Red’ carpet on the second day

The 68th annual <keyword id="6362016" type="ENTERTAINMENT" weightage="100" keywordseo="Cannes-film-festival">Cannes Film Festival</keyword>, which starts today in the beautiful city of Cannes, France, is all set to make a lot of headlines, like it has been doing, year after year. 
 This year, the world would see not one or two but three Indian beauties walking down the red carpet of the Cannes film festival. All three divas, namely <keyword id="6366471" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Aishwarya-Rai">Aishwarya Rai</keyword> Bachchan, Sonam Kapoor and Katrina Kaif would be representing the popular international cosmetic brand, L’Oreal. 
 
This would be the Cannes debut of Katrina Kaif, as Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Sonam Kapoor have already appeared and represented the brand at the prestigious film festival. 
 
Katrina Kaif would be walking the red carpet on the first and second day of the festival, which means that she would be gracing the red carpet today and tomorrow. 
 
For Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who completes 14 years at Cannes this year, the red carpet appearance would be towards the end of the festival, reportedly on 17th and 20th May. 
 
Sonam Kapoor, for whom this is the 5th Cannes appearance, would be showing off her elegance on 16th and 18th May. 
 
Talking of movies, there are two Indian feature films that will be screened under the Uncertain Regard section. The first one, titled Masaan has Richa Chaddha in the lead. The movie has been shot in Varanasi, is directed by Neeraj Ghaywan and co-produced by Anurag Kashyap. The second movie is Gurvinder Singh's Punjabi movie Chauthi Koot, which is a period drama set in Punjab of the 1980s. 
 
Other than this, there is a short movie to be screened, called Miyan Kal Aana, which is produced by actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui and directed by his brother Shams Siddiqui.

#Cannes 2015: Here’s a glimpse of some ‘behind the scene’ moments of Bollywood celebs

We all know that Katrina painted the town red in her last and final appearance in <keyword id="6362016" type="ENTERTAINMENT" weightage="100" keywordseo="Cannes-film-festival">Cannes film festival</keyword> this year, but moving on, here is how Sonam Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan chose to grace the red carpet. 
 
Sonam, who was walking the red carpet at Cannes for the 5th time in a row, looked every bit her fashionista self as she stepped out in an electric blue Ralph &amp; Russo Spring 2014 Couture gown. Complimenting her look were a matching shade of Giuseppe Zanotti sandals and white and blue earrings from Chopard. 
 
With her hair swept on the right and her hands on her slim waist she posed for the shutterbugs, and definitely took the bar higher for the final appearance. We just can’t wait to see how she chooses to surpass that tonight. 
 
The diva Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, on the other hand, proved why she is called the most beautiful woman in the world. Being a veteran at Cannes, this was the 14th time that she was gracing the red carpet at the prestigious film festival, and like every year, she managed to look ravishing in a teal Ellie Saab evening gown. Aishwarya chose to let her hair down, literally, as she posed and pouted for the cameras, just like she does every year. 
 
Having fun at the red carpet, she also clicked some selfies and photobombed several others, hinting at the ease with which she goes to Cannes, year after year. 
 
Accompanying her to Cannes is her three-year old daughter Aaradhya, who made news just before leaving from the Mumbai airport as she followed her mother’s actions and touched the feet of her maternal grandfather, Mr. Krishnaraj Rai. 
 For <keyword id="143" type="CITY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Bollywood">Bollywood</keyword>, up next at Cannes would be Sonam’s final appearance tonight, followed by Aishwarya’s second and last red carpet walk this year, planned for the day after tomorrow.
