Don’t limit yourself from using <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=%E2%80%98Pay+with+Amazon%E2%80%99+&amp;sortorder=effectivedate">‘Pay with Amazon’ </a>while shopping on <keyword id="18635" type="CITY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Amazon">Amazon</keyword> only as the option has now been extended to third party websites. <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=Amazon+&amp;sortorder=effectivedate">Amazon </a>has tied up with as many as 25 online brand stores so far and is offering instant cashbacks and refunds. 
 
Through 'Pay with Amazon' on third-party websites, the e-c0mmerce website wants to broaden its payments wallet space. 
 Some of the known brands that Amazon has ties up with include <keyword id="271821" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="CROCS">Crocs</keyword>, <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=Sennheiser&amp;sortorder=effectivedate">Sennheiser</a>, <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=Caf%C3%A9+Coffee+Day&amp;sortorder=effectivedate">Café Coffee Day</a>. It is also trying to partner with smaller merchants on-boarding platforms such as <keyword id="4095832" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="kartrockand-zepo">Kartrockand Zepo</keyword> to integrate an option for payment using instruments like saved card details and pre-paid balance on Amazon for checkouts. 
 
Reportedly, the company is also in talks with app-based consumer businesses in the online food aggregation, travel, ticketing and entertainment space for its broader payments play. 
 The e-commerce giant, recently hired <keyword id="62152" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="IDFC-Bank">IDFC Bank</keyword>'s chief digital and data officer, <keyword id="1994262" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Sriraman-Jagannathan">Sriraman Jagannathan</keyword>, as vice-president to head the payments vertical to make its dream come true. The company had also acquired payment gateway and mobile wallet company Emvantage in February 2016. 
 
"Through our partnership with banks, we have reduced the friction, doing away with a two-factor authentication and increased the convenience for the customers transacting on mobile during bad network. We have built robust protocols to reduce failure points during transaction," Jagannathan told ET. 
 
Pay with Amazon has integrated its system with <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=SBI&amp;sortorder=effectivedate">SBI</a>, <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=HDFC&amp;sortorder=effectivedate">HDFC</a>, <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=ICICI&amp;sortorder=effectivedate">ICICI</a>, <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=Citibank&amp;sortorder=effectivedate">Citibank</a> and others to reduce friction in transaction. 
 
Pay with Amazon was a part of the first sale by Amazon in 2017 and the online platform did everything it could to incentivise users to transact using Amazon P Balance for 15% cashbacks. 
 
"We want users to transact even nominal amounts as low as Rs 250 for self-use to experience the payment. It is also an important leg for the sale," Jagannathan told ET. 
 
He also said that the payments vertical will also use the data for matching consumers and banks for credit requirements going ahead. 
 The upper limit for transactions through <keyword id="3986451" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Amazon-Pay-Balance">Amazon Pay Balance</keyword> is currently 10,000.
