The trailer failed to create a stir. But then, it’s a relatively small-budget movie and it doesn’t look like a big deal to recover the money, considering Kareena is in the lead role. The superhero sci-fi drama was made at a budget of about Rs 100-150 crore. It was sold at Rs 70 crore to some 9 domestic distributors, with another Rs 18 crore coming in from overseas rights (570 screens). Krrish 3 also struck a <keyword id="6358065" type="PERSON" weightage="40" keywordseo="Satellite">satellite</keyword> deal with Sony for about Rs 37 crore and sold its music for Rs 7 crore to T Series, ET reported. 
 Interestingly, it is Hrithik’s second and Priyanka’s fourth film to cross the 100-crore mark. Again, Krrish 3 is Vivek’s second success after the adult comedy Grand Masti. As one critic said, it’s definitely a bumper Diwali gift for all – actors, director-producer, audience and the ubiquitous movie industry called <keyword id="143" type="CITY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Bollywood">Bollywood</keyword>.
