The deputy commissioners, however, have to ensure compliance with all the directives issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, it added. Mirzapur 2 will release on October 23, says Amazon Prime Video

Embankments of some rivers in the coastal areas of South 24 Parganas district have got damaged in heavy rain and high tidal waves owing to the new moon in the past week, leading to inundation of agricultural fields. With this, the state's COVID-19 death toll has mounted to 409 and the infection tally reached 78,530, a health official said. Fifty-three other coronavirus patients have also died, but the cause of their deaths was attributed to some other reasons. "Regret to inform the demise of ten COVID positive patients while under treatment in hospitals," the state Health and Family Welfare Department said in its official Twitter post. Three of the 10 new fatalities were reported from Ganjam district, two each from Cuttack and Rayagada and one each from Bolangir, Gajapati and Nayagarh districts, the official said. The state also registered a record of 2,129 recoveries on Sunday, the official said, adding that the recovery rate now stands at 69.28 per cent. A total of 54,406 people have been recovered from the disease so far. Of the new 2,993 cases, 1,879 were reported from different quarantine centres, while the remaining 1,114 were detected during contact tracing, he said. The state had last reported its highest single-day surge of 2,924 cases on August 15. The fresh cases were detected in all the 30 districts. Khurda reported the highest 606 cases, followed by Ganjam (271). Nine districts reported new cases above 100, he said. The number of active COVID-19 cases in Odisha now stands at 23,662, which accounts for 30.13 per cent of the total caseload in the state, the official said. It's a sea of limited blue on set. "Quiet, conscious, each delegated work routine, precautions, systems, distanced masks, sanitised and the apprehensions of not just what shall happen to the show... but what shall the World look like after this dread COVID-19," Bachchan wrote. The veteran actor observed a "loss of camaraderie" on set as no one spoke to each other, unless it was work related. "It's like a laboratory where some rather deep scientific experiments abound. This was never expected, never the time to see such visuals, but there it is. "Recognised faces now unrecognisable and the doubts whether we are in the right place, with the right people but we muster up the fears and be on. There is great consideration and care being extended. All precautions carefully worked out and followed." The "Gulabo Sitabo" star said precautions had been taken earlier too "in times of distress" but this was "severe." "It's personal. This time they know its fatality, God forbid, and that lingers. The lightheartedness has sealed itself, isolated, do the do and leave." The actor shared pictures of himself from the shoot, where he was seen in two outfits- a three-piece and a bandhgala suit. Also seen in a picture was "Dangal" director Nitesh Tiwari, who previously remotely directed Bachchan in a KBC video in May. Post his shoot, the actor said, he visited the gym but did nothing "heavy or serious." Bachchan also shared with fans an advice given to him by his doctors. The CWC meeting on Monday could be a stormy affair after a letter written by scores of party leaders has surfaced, calling for drastic changes and reform in the grand old party. The party sources said that there is no challenge to the leadership of Rahul Gandhi but if the name of another person is pushed forward, there will be protests from others. It's anticipated that Rahul Gandhi may push the name of KC Venugopal, so everybody is gearing up with their strategies. But if the CWC decides for elections, the matter may be laid to rest. In the meantime, top Congress managers are busy reaching out to dissenters in the party. However, after the letter surfaced calling for reform from top to bottom within the Congress, the pro-Gandhi family lobby has come out against the letter and lashed out at those behind it. Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh also rejected the letter, as he said in a statement that Sonia Gandhi should continue as party president. "What the Congress needs is a leadership that is acceptable not just to a few but to the entire party, through its rank and file, and the nation at large," he said, adding that the Gandhis were the right fit for this role.
