Sharma, who also worked in serials such as "Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki", "Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyar Ke" and "Wo Rehne Wali Mehlon Ki", lived in a rented flat in Chincholi Bunder locality in Malad (West). His body was discovered by the building's watchman, who peeped through the kitchen window and saw him hanging. He then alerted members of the society who informed the police. Police rushed to the spot and took Sharma to a hospital where doctors declared him brought dead, another official said. Efforts were on to get in touch with the family of the actor, who had been living alone since February, he said. Based on primary information, an Accidental Death Report (ADR) has been registered, Fernandes said, adding that further investigations are underway. On July 27, Sharma posted his last words on Instagram with a poem on death and dreams. "I built my pyre and slept on it and with my fire it was lit. And all that was me I burned in it. I killed my dream to wake up from it. Now my dream is gone," he wrote on his page. After that, he posted some photographs but no written content. His bio on Instagram reads "Actor. Writer. Poet" and mostly has shots of beaches and videos of him driving to scenic places. Sharma's death comes at a time the entertainment industry is reeling from the shock of the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who was found hanging at his apartment in suburban Bandra on June 14. Rajput's death, which will now be investigated by the CBI, exposed many faultlines in the industry. "Depression is a lonely disease," Sharma had posted after Rajput's death. And anybody who hasn't, will never ever be able to understand what that feels like," he wrote on July 22. Bollywood star Sidharth Malhotra, who worked with Sharma in "Hasee toh Phasee", condoled the actor's death. Comparing the way that the Hollywood fraternity stood up for them to how leading <keyword id="143" type="CITY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Bollywood">Bollywood</keyword> stars have stayed mum and haven’t reacted to the whole scandal involving Shweta shows how Bollywood needs to learn something from its American counterparts, when it comes to being biased and judgemental. 
 
We hope that the men who were involved with Shweta in this scandal get arrested soon, and that no other actress has to resort to such petty profession to earn a living even as a national award lies in some corner of their homes, forgotten and dust-ridden.

The "Indian Hackers Online Squad" posted several slogans like "Pakistan will never get Kashmir". 
 
"So, as you said 'Kashmir ki aazadi tak jang rahegi-jang rahegi'. You are thinking that you will get Kashmir just by barking in the campus of JNU," read the messages. 
 
The messages had reference to Bilawal Bhutto Zardari's previous speeches. 
 
"As I also told Bilawal Bhutto that without any violence let me tell you that Pakistan will never get Kashmir. This is the truth. You have to accept it :) So anti-national elements at JNU should also accept that Pakistan will never get Kashmir," the message stated. 
 
 
 
Moreover, the hacked page also carried a photo of actor Sunny Deol with a caption promising to eliminate "all Afzals", in response to an alleged slogan-‘Kitne Afzal maaroge har ghar se Afzal niklega (How many Afzals will you kill, one will emerge from every house)’. 
 
The varsity's library authorities, said, "the hacking of the website was noticed after office hours. The matter has been reported to the university's IT department and measures are being taken to rectify it".

It was such a good experience for us as actors because we became a large family. The show saw so many actors come and go. After both the shows were completed, it was never about money. It has always been about goodwill, love and respect. I am happy that both the shows have returned to television while also being available on the OTT platforms. But today, TV can be your ticket to Bollywood (we need not tell you what SRK and Sushant Singh Rajput have done in this regard) and it also pays big bucks for your efforts. While most of the careers compensate you after a month of slogging, a popular TV star can easily bag thousands at the end of each episode. Here’s a look at eight Indian TV stars who take home the fattest pay cheques.

After kissing popularity with shows like Kasam Se and Bade Achche Lagte Hain, Kapoor is enjoying his stint on big screen these days with films like Agent Vinod and Humshakals.

He started his acting career in movies, but it was television where Ronit Roy struck gold. With shows like Kasautii Zindagii Kay and Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, he became the hot favourite among audiences. These days, he is seen playing a famous defence lawyer, KD Pathak, in Adaalat and his compensation amounts to Rs 1.25 lakh per day. 
 
3. <keyword id="6378149" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Ankita-Lokhande">Ankita Lokhande</keyword> 
Sushant Singh Rajput’s long-standing girlfriend rose to fame after playing Archana in Pavitra Rishta. Ankita was being paid Rs 70,000 per day when she decided to take a break for three months. Buzz was that to bring her back on the show, her fee was hiked to Rs 1 lakh per episode. 
 
4. <keyword id="6358984" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Sakshi-Tanwar">Sakshi Tanwar</keyword> 
One of the most coveted actresses on Indian television, Sakshi Kanwar has come a long way. It was the lead role of Parvati in Ekta Kapoor’s soap Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii that made her a household name. Then she topped the popularity chart by playing Priya in the popular show, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain. Her chemistry with Ram Kapoor is the high point of the show. The actress takes home anything between Rs 70,000-1 lakh per day. And she shoots only 15 days in a month. 
 
5. Shivaji Satam 
He is the popular ACP Pradyuman from India’s longest running crime series CID. This popular Marathi actor, who is also seen playing supporting roles in Bollywood, is one of the A-listers when it comes to the TV industry. He earns around Rs 1 lakh per episode. 
 
6. Karan Singh Grover 
This hot hunk of Indian telly got a huge fan following after playing Dr Armaan Mallik in the TV serial Dill Mill Gayye. After that, he participated in a dance reality show and vanished from the scene. However, we saw him making a successful comeback with Qubool Hai. Buzz is that even after the break, the boy demanded Rs 80,000 per day, which he got, and today he is making Rs 20 lakh a month. 
 
7. Drashti Dhami 
Popularly known as Madhubala, from the serial, Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, Drashti charges Rs 60,000-70,000 per day and shoots for 20 days a month. Now, that’s indeed some amount. 
 
8. <keyword id="27383" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Shweta-Tiwari">Shweta Tiwari</keyword> 
Her stint with the small screen started with the tele serial Kasautii Zindagii Kay that established her as the new queen bee of television. Although the show is now over, Shweta continues to appear in reality and comedy shows. She has also done a couple of tele serials including Parvarish: Kuchh Khattee Kuchh Meethi. Shweta takes home as much as Rs 60,000 per day.
