Mumbai, <keyword id="19930381" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="volvo-car-india" source="keywords">Volvo Car India</keyword> on Monday said it has restructured its management team headed by <keyword id="19930380" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="jyoti-malhotra" source="keywords">Jyoti Malhotra</keyword> through both internal role changes as well as external talent acquisition. The exercise carried out over the past few months is aimed to secure long-term strategic transformation and direct-to-consumer online sales, Volva Car <keyword id="19895063" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="india" source="keywords">India</keyword> said. It is a subsidiary of Swedish luxury carmaker Volvo Cars. As part of the rejig, Kalpit Shishodia, who led the customer service function since 2017, has been promoted to the role of director commercial operations to oversee all revenue generating functions under sales and service. This is to ensure profitable growth, including sales of new and used cars, parts, accessories and related value chain as well as the required tech support for all products, the company said. Similarly, Prashant Khanna has been elevated to the role of director business transformation and retail development. Khanna, in his new role, is responsible for leading the transformation of the company's retailers from the traditional business model to being profitable partners in its journey of becoming a fully-electric car company, at the same time minimising the carbon footprint through the green-dealer initiative, it said. Besides, he leads the implementation of all-digital platforms required to support online-direct-to-consumer sales and the consumer relationship centre which is pivotal in ensuring a positive customer experience, <keyword id="20228332" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="volvo-car" source="keywords">Volvo Car</keyword> India said. According to the company, Jyotsana Singh Kaushik has recently joined the company as Director of Marketing and PR, with a focus on driving strategic marketing initiatives, while Priyankaril Khatri has been appointed as the head of legal. "The management team restructure underscores Volvo Car India's commitment to accelerating full electrification while maintaining excellence. It reflects our proactive stance in adapting to the evolving automotive landscape, ensuring innovation and connecting with the emerging younger customer base in the luxury e-mobility segment," said Jyoti Malhotra, Managing Director, Volvo Car India. By leveraging internal talent and with fresh perspectives, the company is poised to lead the industry towards a greener, more sustainable future, he added. Volvo Car India rejigs management team

Zee TV is known to give some of the best talents to the <keyword id="1943887" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="100" keywordseo="Indian-entertainment">Indian entertainment</keyword> industry. Be it <keyword id="7185" type="PERSON" weightage="40" keywordseo="Shreya-Ghoshal">Shreya Ghoshal</keyword>, <keyword id="5293" type="PERSON" weightage="40" keywordseo="Sunidhi-Chauhan">Sunidhi Chauhan</keyword> or <keyword id="2006" type="PERSON" weightage="40" keywordseo="Kunal-Ganjawala">Kunal Ganjawala</keyword> in terms of playback singing or <keyword id="2403452" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="40" keywordseo="Salman-Yussuf-Khan">Salman Yussuf Khan</keyword> and <keyword id="339934" type="PERSON" weightage="40" keywordseo="Dharmesh-Yelande">Dharmesh Yelande</keyword> in terms of dancing, it has never failed to impress with the talent it finds from the hidden corners of India. 
 
However, on one front, the channel has not been very successful. 
 
India’s Best Cinestars Ki Khoj is a reality series in which the channel invites contestants from all over India (and sometimes abroad) who wish to become actors in the film industry. The contestants undergo several trainings in acting, speech, dancing and overall attitude, and perform in front of judges every week, followed by the elimination based on votes. 
 Although the first season of the series received a wide fan following because of being a one of its kind show, and most of the final 32 contestants have become known faces in Indian television, the winners of the subsequent seasons could not even get a blink-and-miss appearance in any major <keyword id="143" type="CITY" weightage="40" keywordseo="Bollywood">Bollywood</keyword> movie. 
 The first season was won by <keyword id="21729" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="60" keywordseo="Sarwar-Ahuja">Sarwar Ahuja</keyword> and <keyword id="516699" type="PERSON" weightage="60" keywordseo="Aditi-Sharma">Aditi Sharma</keyword>. As per the contract, they both were cast in a movie called Khanna &amp; Iyer, which came in 2007, three years after they were judged the winners. Even though the movie had seasoned actors like Manoj Pahwa, Mushtaq Khan and <keyword id="90309" type="PERSON" weightage="40" keywordseo="Yashpal-Sharma">Yashpal Sharma</keyword> in supporting roles, the movie tanked at box office. 
 
Sarwar Ahuja, who hails from Hyderabad, went on to do 4 films that went unnoticed at the box office. He was also seen in some television shows like Keshav Pandit, Jyoti, Punar Vivah and the latest, Hum Ne Li Hai... Shapath. 
 
Aditi Sharma, on the other hand, has had a pretty decent Bollywood career so far. Although her first film failed to leave a mark at BO, she was praised for her acting skills in every other film that she did, namelyBlack &amp; White, Mausam and Ladies vs Ricky Bahl. She is also a known face in the Telugu film industry, as well as the Indian advertising space. 
 
The other contestants who could not win the show but managed to make a place in the hearts of viewers can also be seen doing leading and supporting roles in television shows. Some of them are Yuvika Chaudhary, Mohit Chadda, Ankita Lokhande, Sudeepa Singh, Shraddha Arya, Naman Shaw, Bharat Chawda, Bhoumik Sampat, Priti Amin, Himanshu Malhotra and Abbas Khan. 
 The second season, however, is the reason why we have our eyebrows raised over the success of the show. Blame it either on the marketing and advertising of the series or the bad luck of the contestants, but the show never got the viewership that its predecessor enjoyed. The winners, <keyword id="17982" type="PERSON" weightage="40" keywordseo="Sabina-Sheema">Sabina Sheema</keyword> and <keyword id="2403455" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="40" keywordseo="Piyush-Chopra">Piyush Chopra</keyword>, are unheard names in the industry, even after 7 years since the show was aired. 
 
Now, the third season, which starts airing today, is coming after 7 years of its predecessor. Although there is no big buzz amongst the audience as of yet, it might be a welcome change from other reality shows occupying the tellyspace if it brings good contestants and focuses on showing their transformation.
