Later, the Dubai-based siblings purchased jiohotstar.com domain from its registered owner. According to industry observers, the domain was sold to Dubai-based siblings after Reliance declined his offer. The siblings now shared an update, saying the Reliance IP Legal team approached them and the duo has decided to pass the ownership to them (Reliance), hoping that it would be "useful for them". "Reliance IP legal team has approached us, and we will be transferring this domain to them, free of cost," they said in a message on the website. "There have been some rumours online suggesting that there is a payment or deal involved, but we want to make it clear -- this is not true," the message said. Moreover, the duo in his video also clarified there is "no pressure from anyone" and denied of having a "deal of any kind". "This is purely a transfer of the domain from our side because we believe it could be useful for them. Whether or not they choose to use it is up to them," the message added. PTI reached out to Reliance for its comment on the development but did not receive any response. In their previous message, the siblings said they had received numerous offers, including some genuine ones offering significant amounts. However, they had said that the domain was not for sale. While announcing the "journey with jiohotstar.com is coming to an end", the duo said they are waiting for a draft from the Reliance legal team for the transfer. "The Reliance IP legal team has contacted us. They have asked us to visit Mumbai to sign the agreement," they said, expecting the agreement to be signed soon. "For unmarried people buying a property, there are no laws or rules that govern what happens when that relationship breaks up," he said. If your partner misses a mortgage payment, it affects your credit. If they have a legal judgment against them, the house you share can be considered their asset — even if you're not married — and may have <a target="_blank" href="https://www.investopedia.com/terms/l/lien.asp">a lien put on it, which means that when you sell or refinance the home, part of the proceeds must go to pay the court order</a>. <h2>Get honest about your finances</h2>Before you even consider buying a home together, Fiffik suggested <a target="_blank" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/personal-finance/buying-first-home-regret-dread-2023-8">getting very honest about your finances</a>. That means disclosing your debts, income, bills, and credit history to each other. This conversation can "get you a better sense of whether making the leap into home ownership with your partner is a good idea or not," Fiffik said. What happens if one partner loses a job or can't afford to pay their share of the mortgage? </li><li><a target="_blank" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/personal-finance/should-i-sell-my-house-now">What if you decide to sell</a>? How will you split the proceeds if you sell the home? </li></ul><h2>Talk about the deed</h2>When married people buy a home, they're often both on the mortgage and deed. But unmarried couples have a few options when it comes to official ownership of the home, Fiffik said: <ul><li><a target="_blank" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/single-women-arent-waiting-marriage-buy-homes-millennials-generation-z-2022-1">Only one partner is on the deed and mortgage</a>. If you choose this approach, think about how to protect the partner who may be helping pay the mortgage but who is not on the deed and mortgage, which means they technically have no legal right to the property (or obligation to the debt). </li><li>Co-owners with rights of survivorship. In this scenario, you both own the home. If one partner dies, the entire property goes to the other partner. </li><li>Co-owners as "tenants in common." In this case, both of you own a "share" of the home. You can pass the share to other people, such as your children, or even sell it. </li></ul><h2>Craft a cohabitation agreement</h2>Once you've talked through all the questions above, it's time to get the answers in writing. A lawyer can help you craft <a target="_blank" href="https://www.insider.com/estate-planning-lawyer-on-topics-couples-should-discuss-before-kids-2022-5">a cohabitation agreement — a legally binding contract that outlines who owns the home, what everyone's financial obligations are</a>, what happens if you break up or you or your partner dies, and other details of joint home ownership. In short, Fiffik said, these agreements help you anticipate anything — and how you'll respond ahead of time. It "forces you to get on the same page when it comes to homeownership," he said.

But Pacino's representative told <a target="_blank" href="https://www.insider.com/al-pacino-noor-alfallah-still-together-representative-says-2023-9">Insider</a> at the time that the pair were still together.Regardless of their relationship status, it may be in Pacino's best interest to swiftly set up an agreement now rather than later, Peter M. Walzer, a family law specialist, told Insider in an interview.<h2>Avoiding a long and expensive legal proceeding</h2>At <a target="_blank" href="https://www.insider.com/al-pacino-meet-family-children-julie-anton-olivia-2023-5">83 years old</a>, Pacino, who has never married, has already gone through a bitter child custody battle with former partner Beverly D'Angelo in 2003, and the actor may just be trying to avoid going through the exhausting process again."When you're older, your life is much more valuable," Walzer, a founding partner of Walzer Melcher, said. Young, old, rich, poor — litigation is miserable," he added.<h2>A 'good compromise'</h2>Child support establishes Pacino's parentage, while Alfallah benefits from locking in support. Court papers viewed by Insider show that the two will share joint custody of their son, but Alfallah would have primary physical custody.In addition, the agreement is more substantial than a will or an estate plan because the latter two are not binding. Pacino could always change that, Walzer said, whereas the child support agreement is binding on both.For Alfallah's part, the 29-year-old may also seek security for herself and her child."The mom's probably concerned," Walzer said. "He's an old guy, he may suffer dementia, and he may die. She needs some security and who knows how strong their relationship is."Alfallah's attorney did not respond to a request for comment sent during the weekend.On the terms of the child support agreement, Walzer said $30,000 a month is a "good compromise" and something he would have sought out as a divorce attorney.Settling child support without a legal fight while the actor's spokesperson tells media outlets that the two are still together is also a good and common PR strategy, Walzer said — one that also looks out for the child in the future."It's good for the kid if he ever goes back and sees what their parents said about each other," Walzer said. The rent can be paid either through a transfer to a bank account, or through a cheque. One should also keep proof of payments made. The recipient has to disclose income The relative who is getting the rent should disclose it in his income tax file for taxation purposes. “The Income Tax department can check through data analytics whether the rental income has been declared,” says Jalan. The income should also be declared under ‘Income from house property’. “If it is declared as ‘Income from other sources,’ a red flag will be raised, and also the deduction on taxes paid will not be available,” says Jalan. Further, the municipal taxes should be up to date, and a deduction can be claimed on the taxes paid,” says Jalan. The person who receives rent is entitled to claim a deduction of 30% on the rental income for repair or renovation purposes. Disclose to employer Employees should disclose the rent paying arrangement to the employers as soon as possible, and not wait for the employer to ask for details. In what is seen as a major standdown, the pilots' union of <keyword id="2573" type="General" weightage="100" keywordseo="air-india" source="Orion">Air India</keyword> has withdrawn its opposition to the new wage pact and employment agreement. In a joint letter issued on Thursday, the Indian Pilots' Guild (<keyword id="179256" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="ipg" source="Orion">IPG</keyword>) and Indian Commercial Pilots' Association (ICPA) withdrew their stand and told their members that they are free to sign new wage contracts offered by the new <keyword id="6355725" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="tata-group" source="Orion">Tata group</keyword> management of Air India. "As dedicated <keyword id="4746568" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="air-indians" source="Orion">Air Indians</keyword>, we believe it is crucial to express our readiness to settle the dispute at hand and find an amicable resolution for the benefit of both parties," the IPG and ICPA said in a joint letter to their members. The letter further read, "Over the past year, our attempts to reach a resolution have been hindered by a lack of cooperation from the management. Their unwillingness to address our concerns and apathetic attitude has resulted in a prolonged stalemate and escalating tensions." The announcement came after a joint meeting held on Thursday, wherein the unions' members were told that they are free to sign the new wage contract. Last month, the Tata Group-owned airline announced a new salary structure for pilots and cabin crew but the staff was disappointed with the revisions. Their main grouse was about promoting captains with more than four years of experience in management. In a communication to all employees including pilots and crew members in April this year, Air India management had said that they announced the revision of their employment contracts and revised compensation for flying staff. "I am reaching directly to our flying staff through this platform as currently there is no recognized union at Air India. This is within the framework of law," said Air India Chief Human Resource Officer Suresh Tripathi, had said in a video message. The airline had said that the contract sent is a compilation of applicable policies and existing rules. Wherever there are differences, their changes are introduced to have a performance and merit-based culture as would be the ask of any world-class and professionally run airline. In the last one year, they have been hearing all the concerns of their flying community through various forums and constant communication, the Air India management said. "Guaranteed flying allowance has moved upwards from existing 20 hours to fixed 40 hours. With our ambitious growth and large aircraft order, we as an organisation are confident to provide you more and more opportunities for flying. The fact remains that at 70 hours of flying, income across the board has increased. We are a productivity-oriented organisation, and anyone who is ready to contribute will grow and prosper," the airline had said. "Our Trainers who would be investing more time in training as we ramp up, have been given a significant increase in pay in the form of both fixed and variable. There is more than 40 per cent increase in the allowance for trainers," it added. Air India said flying allowance rates are one of the highest in the Indian industry, with even higher amounts beyond 40 hours. There used to be a difference in flying rates in the same pilot rank which has been done away with to promote fairness. They have introduced additional compensation during training of command upgrade and conversion training which was not existing earlier. There was not any service reward existing to recognise the contribution of experienced staff. A fixed amount has been added to salaries. "These are all changes we have introduced for the better and to become market competitive, which was a key ask. We have also introduced best-in-class employee insurance and other benefits which were not existing earlier at Air India to support the welfare of our flying staff," the airline's management had said. A conjunction is defined as a close approach between two objects in space, usually at very high speed. Both NASA and SpaceX benefit from this enhanced interaction by ensuring all parties involved are fully aware of the exact location of spacecraft and debris in orbit. SpaceX has agreed its Starlink satellites will autonomously or manually manoeuvre to ensure the missions of NASA science satellites and other assets can operate uninterrupted from a collision avoidance perspective. Unless otherwise informed by SpaceX, NASA has agreed to not manoeuvre its assets in the event of a potential conjunction to ensure the parties do not inadvertently manoeuvre into one another. This is an improved offer from the trio, after an earlier one got spurned, the outlet said.However, the renewed submission also appears to be at risk of getting rejected after Sculptor Capital said in a press release on Monday, without identifying the bidders, that a new proposal it received fell short of expectations."We have received an unsolicited proposal from a third party that had participated in the strategic alternatives process. This bidder has not demonstrated adequate committed funding for any of its bids," the firm said in the release.Sculptor has already agreed to be taken over by another company, real-estate investment firm Rithm Capital, in a deal that values the struggling hedge fund at around $11.15 per share. On Friday, the shares closed at $11.20 each."Though this latest bid's headline valuation is higher than the Rithm transaction, this proposal only includes committed financing for less than half of the amount required to consummate the transaction and underestimates the amount that would be necessary by several hundred million dollars," Sculptor said in the statement."Accordingly, in light of the foregoing and other issues with the proposal, the Special Committee has not determined that the bid is, or is reasonably expected to lead to, a Superior Proposal (as defined in the Company's merger agreement with Rithm)," it added.Sculptor is the largest publicly-traded hedge fund with $34 billion of assets under management. It has faced controversy over the past decade stemming from the fallout from accusations of bribing government officials across several countries in Africa. In 2016, the firm had to pay $412 million in penalties.Weinstein is most famous for profiting off the 'London Whale' trading scandal that engulfed JPMorgan in 2012. Ackman, whose investment strategy is that of a shareholder activist, runs Pershing Square Capital Management. And Lasry, who runs Avenue Capital Group, is best known for owning the NBA's Milwaukee Bucks basketball team for nine years.
