How to earn money from Reliance Jio's new app JioPOS Lite

The National Payments Corporation of India (<keyword id="193629" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="npci" source="Orion">NPCI</keyword>), along with telecom major <keyword id="2003276" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="jio" source="Orion">Jio</keyword>, on Thursday announced that <keyword id="9621522" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="upi-autopay" source="Orion">UPI Autopay</keyword> has now been introduced for the telecom industry with Jio. Jio customers can now set standing instructions on the MyJio App using UPI <keyword id="2836894" type="General" weightage="100" keywordseo="autopay" source="Orion">Autopay</keyword> for their favourite tariff plans. "The combination of Jio's superior prepaid and postpaid plans and UPI Autopay will now be available to every Jio user," Kiran Thomas, Director, Jio, said in a statement. "Jio users will no longer need to remember their recharge renewal date or bill payment date and perform manual payments. This will enable an ALWAYS-ON service experience for every Jio prepaid user," Thomas added. Jio's integration with UPI Autopay has made it the first player in the telecom industry to go live with the unique e-mandate feature that was launched by NPCI. "We are glad to associate with Jio and witness UPI Autopay venturing into the ever-evolving telecom sector. We believe our collaboration will change the way Jio customers experience the renewal of their mobile tariff plans," said Kunal Kalawatia, Chief of Products, NPCI. Jio users can now use UPI to automatically recharge their numbers or make bill payments

Jio has come up with special initiatives for the pandemic period including free 300 minutes of outgoing calls per month for the entire period of the pandemic, to <keyword id="4792220" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="JioPhone">JioPhone</keyword> users who have not been able to recharge due to the ongoing pandemic. "We at Jio want to ensure that staying connected remains accessible and affordable for all customers, especially the less-privileged sections of our society," said a company statement. "Jio working with <keyword id="10926" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Reliance">Reliance</keyword> Foundation will provide 300 free minutes of outgoing calls per month (10 minutes per day) for the entire period of the pandemic, to JioPhone users who have not been able to recharge due to the ongoing pandemic," it said. Further, to further enhance affordability, for every JioPhone plan recharged by JioPhone user, they will get an additional recharge plan of the same value for free. Elaborating the offering, the statement said that a JioPhone user recharging with Rs 75 plan, will get an additional Rs 75 plan absolutely free. "Reliance is committed to standing with every Indian during these challenging times, and will continue to make every effort to enable our fellow citizens to overcome the difficulties created by the pandemic," it added. How to recharge your Jio mobile number

<ul><li>Jio’s new tariffs have users in a tussle about having to top-up in order to make calls to other numbers. </li><li>Even though Jio has introduced new ‘all-in-one’ data plans, they do not include unlimited calling minutes — only limited IUC minutes at a discounted price. </li><li>Long term plans, exceeding ₹999, aren’t privy to unlimited calling either. </li></ul>Last month, Jio hiked its tariffs. But that’s not the only issue its users are facing. The plans, which were fairly simple earlier, are being perceived as complicated. The data recharge plans normally included unlimited local calling.  How are traditional data plans different? Traditional daily data plans that sell for ₹449 for 91 days, ₹399 for 84 days and ₹349 for 70 days don’t come bundled with any minutes whatsoever. All Jio-to-Jio calls will be free but you’ll need additional balance in order to make calls to under networks.  How can I get free calling to other networks with data? In case, you don’t want to recharge with balance, Jio does give users to option to top-up their plans with <a href="https://www.businessinsider.in/business/corporates/news/interconnect-usage-charge-iuc-top-up-voucher-detail-for-reliance-jio-customer/articleshow/71516405.cms">IUC vouchers</a> — ₹10 gets you 124 IUC minutes, while ₹100 can provide 1362 IUC minutes. The IUC voucher, however, has to be applied alongside the data recharge. It is not a standalone option that can be added later. Even the long-term plans for ₹999, ₹1999, ₹4999 and ₹9999 don’t have free calling to other networks and need to be supplemented with IUC vouchers. What do Jio’s new ‘all-in-one’ plans include? Jio’s ‘all-in-one’ plans don’t actually include everything but are more budget-friendly for people who need to make calls to outside networks. The cheapest plan at ₹149 includes 300 minutes of IUC calls and 1.5GB of daily data for 24 days. Once the IUC minutes run out, you will be charged for calls at 6 paise/minute. Google today added a new feature to Search that will help prepaid SIM users across the country. The search giant announced that users will now be able to use Search to compare prepaid mobile plans of different telcos. Apart from comparing plans, users will also be able to compare discounts and cashbacks that are being offered by various apps on those <keyword id="1318902" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="recharges">recharges</keyword>. This will help users to select the best plans and go with the best offers at one place. Who can use this service? The service is currently available for signed-in users on Android devices. This means that if you are using search on a computer or an iOS device, you will not be able to use this feature. Which telecom operators are supported? New Delhi, Apr 17 () Reliance Jio has introduced a new system to enable its subscribers to recharge the account of any customer on its network through a mobile app and also earn around 4 per cent commission. The development comes at a time when many people are unable to recharge their phones due to the lockdown. Telecom regulator Trai has been pushing service providers to extend the validity of all prepaid connections during the period. Reliance Jio has launched the JioPOS Lite app on Google Play store, from where a customer can download it and start recharging the phone of any subscriber on its network. "There is a joining fee of Rs 1,000 but the company has waived it off as an introductory offer. Jio customers downloading this app will have to load a minimum of Rs 1,000 for the first time and thereafter they can load recharge for sale for a minimum value of Rs 200," a source told . The app has recorded over 5 lakh downloads till date. The source said this will give Jio customers a comfortable option to get their phones recharged even if shops are not opened during the lockdown period. The government has extended the lockdown period till May 3 to check the spread of the coronavirus. Private telecom operators had earlier extended the validity of prepaid accounts till April 17 to support people at the bottom of the pyramid stay connected during the lockdown. Vodafone Idea had announced extension of validity on prepaid plans availed by low-income customers using feature phones till April 17 and Rs 10 talktime credit. Bharti Airtel too had offered extension in the validity period of over 8 crore pre-paid connections until April 17 as well as credited Rs 10 talktime in these accounts. Reliance Jio had also offered its JioPhone users 100 minutes of free talktime and 100 free SMSes till April 17, while their incoming calls would continue even after the validity of their pre-paid vouchers. State-owned telecom operators BSNL and MTNL will extend the validity period of their prepaid mobile services till April 20 and offer Rs 10 additional talktime even after zero balance. Telecom body COAI pegged the value of benefits announced by telcos for low-income users at over Rs 600 crore and said the government should support further extension of benefits through universal service obligation fund where more than Rs 51,500 crore has been lying unused. New Delhi, Apr 17 () Reliance Jio on Friday said that most of the mobile recharge outlets will be available from April 20 onward, and customers who have not been able to recharge their account during the lockdown will continue to get incoming calls on their phones.The company on March 31 had announced that users will continue to receive incoming call even after expiry of the prepaid account during the difficult situation developed due to spread of coronavirus infection."Majority recharge outlets will be available starting 20th April," Jio said, adding that customers can do recharge through online payment platforms, bank ATMs and also through associate programmes.The company has come up with JioPos Lite app which its customers can download and recharge account of other subscribers on the network. The customer who recharges the account of others will get commission of around 4 per cent.Vodafone Idea and Bharti Airtel have also come up with similar cash back or commission-based recharge service through app.These two firms have announced extension of prepaid validity till May 3 for customers who have not been able to recharge their accounts.Around 9 crore customers of Vodafone Idea and 3 crore of Bharti Airtel will continue getting free incoming calls till then.The government announced nationwide lockdown starting March 24 till April 14.
