India's largest telecom operator <keyword id="19896911" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="Reliance-Jio" source="keywords" meta.keywordsubtype="org" meta.entityname="Reliance Jio" meta.hostid="261" meta.entityid="Reliance Jio">Reliance Jio</keyword> on Monday posted a 13 per cent year-on-year rise in its standalone net profit at Rs 5,337 crore in March quarter. Its revenue from operations for Q4FY24 came in at Rs 25,959 crore, up 11 per cent over the year-ago period. The net profit was pegged at Rs 5,337 crore for just-ended quarter, up from Rs 4,716 crore in the fourth quarter of FY23, which translated into a 13.16 per cent increase. According to a BSE filing by the company, for the full FY24, the net profit stood at Rs 20,466 crore, which was 12.4 per cent higher than that of FY23. The revenue for full fiscal ended March 2024 was Rs 1,00,119 crore, up 10.2 per cent over the preceding fiscal. Reliance Jio Q4 net profit rises over 13% to ₹5,337 crore

(Eds: Adding details) New Delhi, Apr 30 () Reliance Jio on Thursday posted 177.5 per cent year-on-year rise in net profit to Rs 2,331 crore for the three months ended March 31, fuelled by rising subscriber base and recent tariff hike.The net profit of Jio stood at Rs 840 crore in the year-ago period.Seen sequentially, the net profit grew 72.7 per cent when compared to Rs 1,350 crore in December quarter (Q3FY20).Jio's standalone revenue from operations for the fourth quarter stood at Rs 14,835 crore, which translates into year-on-year growth of 26.6 per cent.Commenting on the Q4 results, Mukesh Ambani, Chairman and Managing Director, Reliance Industries Limited said, "Jio is embarking on the next leg of growth with a path-defining partnership with one of the world's largest digital companies, Facebook"."We are together determined to make India a truly digital society with best-in-class connectivity network complemented with disruptive digital technology platforms for entertainment, commerce, communication, finance, education and health harnessing world's best tech capabilities. Announcing Q4FY20 and full year numbers, Reliance asserted that Facebook-Jio Platforms transaction will be closed by end of this quarter. Last week, Facebook had announced an investment of USD 5.7 billion (Rs 43,574 crore) in Jio Platforms. Jio's net profit stood at Rs 2,331 crore during March quarter, and there was exceptional item (income) during the quarter of Rs 31 crore related to reversal of provisions on Adjusted Gross Revenue (AGR) dues. The net profit of Jio stood at Rs 840 crore in the year-ago period. Sequentially, the net profit was 72.7 per cent higher when compared to Rs 1,350 crore in December quarter (Q3FY20). New Delhi, Jan 17 () Telecom operator Reliance Jio on Friday posted a 62.5 per cent jump in its standalone net profit at Rs 1,350 crore for the October-December quarter of FY 2019-20. 
The telecom arm of Reliance Industries, Jio had posted a net profit of Rs 831 crore in the corresponding quarter a year ago.
 The company recorded an increase of 28.3 per cent in its operating revenue at Rs 13,968 crore as compared to Rs 10,884 crore in the year-ago period. 
 "Jio has continued on its unprecedented growth journey receiving overwhelming customer response for best in class mobile connectivity services. Jio is also determined to redefine the wireline infrastructure, home entertainment and enterprise market in India with its FTTx services which bundle best-in-class connectivity with bouquet of digital content and services," RIL Chairman and Managing Director Mukesh Ambani said in a statement. 
 He said that a truly transformational and disruptive digital services company has also been set up to drive the next leg of growth.
 Reliance Jio subscriber base increased by 32.1 per cent as on December 31, 2019 on year-on-year basis to 37 crore and average revenue per user stood at Rs 128.4 during the quarter. 
 Total wireless data traffic during the quarter on its network increased by 39.9 Y-o-Y basis to 1,208 crore GB, and voice traffic during the quarter jumped 30.3 per cent to 82,640 crore minutes. PRS MBI MKJ

Reliance Jio net profit surges 62.5% to Rs 1,350 cr in Dec qtr

New Delhi, Jul 30 () Reliance Jio on Thursday posted nearly 183 per cent jump in its net profit to Rs 2,520 crore for the June quarter. The net profit stood at Rs 891 crore in the corresponding quarter previous year. Jio's operating revenue for the Q1 FY21 grew 33.7 per cent year-on-year to Rs 16,557 crore. Its total customer base as on June 30, 2020 stood at of 398.3 million, and average revenue per user (ARPU) during the quarter was Rs 140.3 per subscriber per month. Mukesh Ambani, Chairman and Managing Director of Reliance Industries said: "Jio started with a vision of connecting everything by building a robust and secure wireless and digital network and extending the benefits of digital connectivity to everyone in India. Thirteen investors, which include the largest technology companies and investors globally, now share a common vision with us".
