Nunes said she was surprised when she recieved an email on March 27 that said her package had shipped, according to the station.</p><p>"I go on my Amazon order history to find that I, or somebody, had ordered 10 motorcycles, a Jeep, and 10 pairs of cowgirl boots women's size seven," Nunes according to the outlet.</p><p>Nunes estimated that the motorcycles and the toy Jeep came out to $3,180, while the boots totalled $600, WJAR reported.</p><p>According to WJAR, Nunes says she was able to cancel the boots order and half of the motorcycle orders, but she didn't catch the order fast enough to stop five motorcycles and one children's Jeep that had already shipped.</p><p>The motorcycles were originally nonrefundable through Amazon, but Nunes said she reached out to the company and was able to return the products, according to <a href="https://www.wcvb.com/article/girl-orders-3k-in-amazon-items-on-moms-phone-westport-massachusetts/43485982#" target="_blank" rel="noopener">WCVB.</a></p><p>"(The kid's motorcycles) were actually nonreturnable, originally, but I had reached out to Amazon at 2 o'clock in the morning and I was like: 'Please, is there anything we can do?!'" Contrasted sharply against the gray concrete and the similarly gray cars typically parked here, the orange Jeep was garish, lurid, and rude. A punchline straight to the eyes.</p><p>But it wasn't just the color. There was presence. The Gladiator stands tall; it has beefy, all-terrain tires. Swaths of blocky, black trim. Squared-off fenders that stick out inches from the body. A design composed of straight lines and right angles.</p><p><div type="image" title="2020 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon107" height="1333" width="2000" msid="76323132" hostid="261"></div>The good news is that the Jeep Gladiator's look will likely age well; straight lines and 90-degree angles don't exactly go out of fashion.</p><h2>The 2020 Jeep Gladiator: Jeep went wild on the optional features </h2><p>The Gladiator is Jeep's take on the highly lucrative midsize pickup truck market. Designed to compete against the likes of the Honda Ridgeline, Chevrolet Colorado, GMC Canyon, Nissan Frontier, Ford Ranger, and Toyota Tacoma, the Gladiator offers four-wheel drive, a five-foot bed, off-roading prowess, and Jeepish looks. </p><p>In fact, if you were to eye it straight in the familiar seven-slot grille-face, you wouldn't be able to tell there's a pickup bed attached back there at all. From the side, too, its front half is a Jeep Wrangler. Its back half is a rectangle. </p><p><div type="image" title="2020 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon96" height="3000" width="2000" msid="76323134" hostid="261"></div></p><p>Jeep offers <a href="https://www.jeep.com/bmo.gladiator.2020.html#/models/2020/gladiator?app=bmo&amp;vehicle=gladiator&amp;year=2020ear=2020">seven trims</a> for the 2020 Gladiator. The cheapest is the Sport, which starts at $33,545. The most expensive is the High Altitude, which starts at $51,745. For the purpose of my review, Jeep loaned me the Gladiator Rubicon — tied for the second most expensive in the lineup.</p><p><div type="image" title="Jeep Gladiator trims" height="769" width="1400" msid="76323138" hostid="261"></div></p><p>Rubicon Gladiators come with trimmings like an available forward-facing off-road camera, LED headlights and fog lights, protective cab and cargo-bed rock rails, two-piece body-color fender flares with black insert, 33-inch tires as standard, and a fancy Rock-Trac 4x4 system, good for scaling over obstacles while traversing off road. </p><p>My loaner was also outfitted with seemingly all of these options: leather-trimmed bucket seats ($1,495), a premium audio system ($1,695), a roll-up <a href="https://shop.advanceautoparts.com/r/advice/car-truck-mods/tonneau-cover">tonneau cover</a> ($595), adaptive cruise control ($795), an eight-speed automatic 850RE transmission ($2,000), a body-color three-piece hardtop ($2,295), a winch-capable steel front bumper ($795), 17-inch polished black aluminum wheels ($995), and the forward-facing trail camera ($595).</p><p><div type="image" title="2020 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon88" height="1333" width="2000" msid="76323140" hostid="261"></div></p><p>In all, the total price of the vehicle came to a whopping $62,020. </p><p>Show me the person who would realistically option their Gladiator in such a fashion, because I cannot imagine them. $62,000 is a lot of money for a midsize pickup! The options Jeep gave its press car were appreciated, but they didn't really add or detract from the truck's primary job, which is being a truck.</p><h2>Details and safety ratings: Built for off-roading, but not for fuel economy</h2><p>Powered by a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine, the Gladiator makes a claimed 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. A six-speed manual comes standard, but an eight-speed automatic is optional.</p><p><div type="image" title="2020 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon99" height="1333" width="2000" msid="76323144" hostid="261"></div></p><p>The engine is designed to produce low-range torque — meaning that it's best-suited for low speeds and doing low-speed things, such as off-roading, driving during harsh conditions, hauling cargo, or towing something. </p><p>The Gladiator is based on the same platform as the current Wrangler and utilizes a body-on-frame design: the vehicle's frame and body are two different pieces. True, it means the Gladiator is perhaps heavier and less fuel-efficient than something with a unibody construction — where frame and body are combined into one piece. </p><p>But it also means that the Gladiator was designed from the ground up as something intended for off-roading and transporting heavy loads. Body-on-frame vehicles are generally cheaper to build, too.</p><p><div type="image" title="2020 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon93" height="1333" width="2000" msid="76323148" hostid="261"></div></p><p>Rubicon-trim Gladiators also wear a Jeep Trail Rated badge, which means that they have added ground clearance, big tires, 30 inches of water fording ability, and up to 7,650 pounds of towing capacity. </p><p>Although the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has not yet given the 2020 Gladiator an overall safety rating, it did <a href="https://www.nhtsa.gov/vehicle/2020/JEEP/GLADIATOR/PU%25252FCC/4WD#safety-ratings-frontal" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">award the truck</a> four out of five stars for overall frontal crashworthiness. The front driver side earned four stars, while the front passenger side earned five stars. Side crash hasn't been rated, but rollover scored a mere three stars. The agency reported a 26.7% risk of rollover.</p><h2>What stands out: The thing is a god in its off-roading element</h2><p>Despite its fearsome and rugged looks, the Gladiator is actually a comfortable place to spend a few hours during long commutes. There's abundant room in the cabin for four passengers, and even the rear seats are roomy. Plenty of headroom and legroom. </p><p><div type="image" title="2020 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon97" height="3000" width="2000" msid="76323152" hostid="261"></div></p><p>The bed, for us, hauled two suitcases, two backpacks, bags of groceries, electronics, a purse, a laundry hamper, and two large director's chairs. Jeep provided a tonneau cover and that came in very handy, as it kept all of our stuff dry. </p><p>Some light off-roading later, it was clear to me the big Jeep was in its element. Trundling up and down grassy knolls and through the woods, the Gladiator happily bumped, tilted, and thumped across the uneven terrain, always solidly planted. </p><p>The off-roading suspension drank in the turbulence — not so much soaking it up completely so that you, the driver, would be numb to it — but rather in a way that was pliable and inspired confidence. </p><p><div type="image" title="2020 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon115" height="1333" width="2000" msid="76323155" hostid="261"></div></p><p>Driving the truck across this sort of environment was akin to sitting astride a very sure-footed, four-legged animal. Sure, I wouldn't recommend doing it with an open mug of coffee in your hand, but all four wheels consistently felt they were working together, cohesively, under me. </p><p>That feeling was a direct result of the truck's four-wheel drive and locking differentials — which allows both wheels on an axle to travel at the same speed so when one wheel loses traction, both keep spinning and hopefully will pull you out of the low-traction situation.</p><p>The 11.1 inches of ground clearance also meant that the Gladiator could crawl over a great number of things in its way. The trunk of a fallen birch tree, for example, would have torn off the front bumper of (and caused significant damage to) your average crossover or SUV, but the truck stepped right over the obstacle and thought nothing of it. </p><p><div type="image" title="2020 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon109" height="3000" width="2000" msid="76323160" hostid="261"></div></p><h2>What falls short: Not a happy highway camper </h2><p>The saying, "jack of all trades, master of none" unfortunately rings extremely true here. As stoked as the Gladiator clearly is while splashing about in muck or sand, it doesn't do the highway cruising with nearly as much gumption. </p><p>Don't get me wrong; the Gladiator is a very fine around-town commuter, great for running errands. You sit high and can easily see around and over other cars — a very big deal for a short person such as myself. </p><p>But once you hit the highway, that confidence and sure-footedness from the low-speed off-roading all but evaporates. The bouncy suspension, so well optimized for uncivilized terrain, feeds some unwelcome wobbliness into the cabin. The big, all-terrain tires hum loudly at high speed. </p><p><div type="image" title="Jeep Gladiator4" height="1333" width="2000" msid="76323163" hostid="261"></div></p><p>The Jeep also didn't like maintaining highway speeds. Other cars merely require periodic throttle inputs to keep up consistent speeds of about 65 mph or so; pretty effortless and thoughtless stuff. The Gladiator felt as though it was constantly driving through molasses that kept dragging its speed down. Eventually, I gave up trying to hold to a constant speed by myself and instead switched on the cruise control. </p><p>And thanks to the approximate aerodynamics of a brick, I observed the Gladiator to return an average of 19.2 mpg during the course of my loan, which included city driving, highway driving, and around-town errand running. On the truck's window sticker, the EPA gives the Gladiator a fuel economy and greenhouse-gas rating of three out of 10. </p><p>Hardware wise, I do wish the wing mirrors stuck out a bit further. The Gladiator is a long vehicle and it isn't always easy to see where it ends. It has thick C-pillars, which result in blind spots during over-the-shoulder glances. Wing mirrors with a wider field of view would have been helpful there. </p><p><div type="image" title="2020 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon142" height="1333" width="2000" msid="76323167" hostid="261"></div></p><h2><strong>How the Gladiator compares to its competitors: A bit more expensive, and a bit more uncouth </strong></h2><p>Compared to other midsize <keyword id="47193" type="ENTERTAINMENT" weightage="60" keywordseo="trucks">trucks</keyword> available to US buyers, the Gladiator's base price is high. If your sole buying criteria is for a midsize truck, then the Ford Ranger would be a fine thing to bring home. The Ranger starts at $24,410, and its 4WD version gets an EPA-estimated 20 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway. The Gladiator with the automatic transmission gets an EPA-estimated 17 mpg in the city and 22 mpg on the highway.</p><p>Certainly, other trucks are likely more comfortable and civilized than the rather uncouth Gladiator. That's the new truck trend these days: SUV-like quality and comfort, but with a bed for all your stuff. </p><p>But if you want a truck where you can pull its doors off, a truck that revels in getting muddy from playtime and going where there are no roads, the Gladiator is for you. It'll do the suburban life just fine, but you can tell its heart is elsewhere.</p><p><div type="image" title="Jeep Gladiator2" height="1333" width="2000" msid="76323171" hostid="261"></div></p><h2><strong>Our impressions: Maybe if I didn't live in Brooklyn</strong></h2><p>Perhaps this is a uniquely Me Problem, but I actually felt too short for the Gladiator. At five-foot-three, I was disappointed by the truck's lack of running boards (don't worry, you can get them as an option). It took several days for me to get used to the massive step up I had to take to climb into the cabin. Twice, while exiting backward, I misjudged the distance from the truck to the ground and nearly fell out of it.</p><p>Thankfully, the Jeep has handles at the A- and B-pillars that passengers can use to pull themselves up, but this crutch falls apart when you approach the truck with items in both hands, such as a phone, car keys, and a beverage. Even if you manage to open the door with one finger, you'll still need to first reach into the truck to put everything down before grabbing the handle to hoist yourself in. It's an extra step. </p><p>The lofty ground clearance — so great for fallen trees and the like! — also means that the bed is quite high up. Maybe you're tall enough that you can just reach in from the side to retrieve your items. To that end, I am ecstatic for you.<em> I</em> had to physically climb into the bed and push everything toward the tailgate before I could remove it. </p><p><div type="image" title="2020 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon129" height="1333" width="2000" msid="76323174" hostid="261"></div></p><p>Despite these small inconveniences, though, I liked the Gladiator. I appreciate its existence. I respect its off-road capabilities and how stable it always felt. If I lived in the desert, preferably somewhere in the American Southwest, I'd definitely consider one. But as it currently stands, I live in Brooklyn, and in Brooklyn, the Jeep pickup truck simply feels too big to be allowed. </p><p>That being said, I have a hard time figuring out who the Gladiator is actually for. You'd think, given the popularity of midsize trucks, they would sell more quickly than Jeep could make them. It certainly seems like the automaker was betting on this very thing to happen. But it didn't.</p><p>The Gladiator went on sale during the second half of 2019. Yet, the Compass, Wrangler, Cherokee, Grand Cherokee, and even the Renegade <a href="https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/fca-us-reports-fourth-quarter-and-full-year-2019-sales-300980866.html">sold better than it did in Q4</a>. I remember automotive readers being <em>very excited</em> about the Gladiator. Monaco-based Sir James Ratcliffe, Chairman and CEO of the Ineos Chemicals Group and one of the UK's richest people, saw a gap in the market for people like him - those who prefer their adventure toys analog, despite their virtually unlimited budget - and set out building an off-roader to suit. </p><p>Revealed in 2020 and available with a gas engine or diesel BMW motor, the Grenadier isn't like other <keyword id="11964155" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="60" keywordseo="suvs" source="Orion">SUVs</keyword>. Competitors like the Land Rover Defender, Jeep Wrangler, and Ford Bronco use complicated electronics to get the job done, while the Grenadier relies first and foremost on mechanical input from drivers, using electrics only as a safety net for the inexperienced.</p><p>While the Grenadier will likely be competitive when it comes to price, its contemporaries have the distinct advantage of being on sale now, while the Ineos is expected to hit North American shores in 2023. </p><div type="image" title="The Ineos Grenadier off-road SUV." height="2654" width="4002" msid="85690592" hostid="261"></div><p>Insider rode shotgun in a prototype Grenadier model at an off-road-friendly location in East Sussex, UK, and the prototype certainly wasn't meant to be a showroom darling. Built on June 1 to see how it would fare over about 2,500 miles in "all weathers" - rain, shine, probably lava - the inside of the SUV featured blanked out buttons, screens, placeholder trim, a center console stripped bare, and utilitarian controls that even the most hardcore customer would turn their nose up at. </p><p>The Grenadier was built to be tested to extremes, not look shiny in a parking lot. It was refreshingly inornate.</p><div type="image" title="The Ineos Grenadier off-road SUV." height="2664" width="3996" msid="85690596" hostid="261"></div><p>Setting off in a billionaire's ideal apocalypse-mobile, the first thing you notice is how quiet it is. Usually with preproduction vehicles, you expect squeaks, rattles, and all manner of foibles, but here, that's not the case. One squeak from a fire extinguisher was notable, but otherwise it was solidly bolted together. </p><p>The BMW motor, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, felt smooth from the passenger seat. Each gearshift, albeit at a steady pace, happened with barely perceptible ease. </p><div type="image" title="The Ineos Grenadier off-road SUV." height="2652" width="3978" msid="85690601" hostid="261"></div><p>Easing into rougher, more forest-y terrain, the Grenadier seemed sure footed. This, an Ineos rep said, is because the car's mechanical underpinnings and old-school body-on-frame construction - rather than unibody - means a user has greater control of what the car is doing, rather than relying on a computer to spot a possible grip issue and fix it on the fly. </p><p>As the terrain got rougher, the Grenadier's ride remained remarkably unfussed. It still threw us around, but clambering up and down a small chunk of Surrey countryside wasn't back-breakingly uncomfortable. After all, it's a car designed to climb mountains, not crawl along the highway. </p><div type="image" title="The Ineos Grenadier off-road SUV." height="2661" width="3992" msid="85690605" hostid="261"></div><p>When manufacturers show off cars, they almost always choose locations that make those cars shine. Yet our time with the Grenadier showed that even though it's early in development, Ineos is keen to demonstrate that the newcomer is a legitimate alternative to other off-road SUVs.</p><p>The Grenadier shuns the trust of computerized ones and zeros for traditional suspension and controls. It's a purpose-built tool for specialists, rather than a Swiss Army Knife designed to do all jobs for all people. </p><p>And sometimes, that's just what people need. </p>

We live in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and resisted getting a minivan for many years. We actually bought a slightly used Buick Enclave in 2014 instead of a minivan. The Buick was a great SUV for the most part.</p><p>However, every time we traveled, we ended up with huge space issues: With luggage, computer bags, the family dog, food for the road, and the necessary blankets and pillows the kids just "had to have," it made for a very tight and uncomfortable fit. In some cases, they had over 100,000 miles. So, we decided to go with a brand new minivan because it would be far safer for the family and had a great warranty.</span></p><p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We chose the 2018 </span><a href="https://markets.businessinsider.com/news/stocks/save-over-10-000-on-a-luxuriously-trimmed-kia-sedona-at-friendly-kia-1027595299"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Kia Sedona</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> after </span><a href="https://www.businessinsider.com/most-reliable-cars-of-2018-consumer-reports-2018-10"><span style="font-weight: 400;">comparing many types of minivans</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> (including Honda and Chrysler ones), and the price for what we were getting seemed right: It had an amazing amount of room (much more than the Enclave!); bucket seats in the back that we can fold down; great high-tech packages - for instance, I was blown away when I saw that the Kia Sedona had 360-degree outside cameras, just like a friend of mine with a Mercedes SUV has, and this certainly made me feel better about the vehicle; and it has many safety features, such as tons of airbags and a smart cruise control, which monitors vehicles in front of us and keeps a safe following distance.</span></p><p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Also, the sliding doors are electric, which is very nice for the kids to be able to open and close them. And we now use the minivan to transport items for our business, too, when we are holding seminars at different places in the city. Plus, we were impressed with Kia's warranty for the vehicle, which was a five-year/60,000 mile basic package and 10- year/100,000 mile powertrain. We took a long summer trip with it last year, driving 12 hours to Port Aransas, Texas, and it was great: lots of room, safe, and plenty of space for luggage and beach toys. We've brought them around town with us, and it's much easier to load everyone into the minivan versus separate cars. They love the room and the amount of people it holds. Probably the biggest surprise is that the clients that have seen it or who know about it have shared that when they had young kids, they loved their minivan and that it provided tons of room. They totally understand why we got it and there is no stigma at all.</span></p><p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We are very happy with our Kia Sedona and actually look forward to taking more road trips with the kids. Ultimately, the stigma we avoided for many years was just a story in our heads and not reality. Unfortunately, that story prevented us from having much more room when going on big family trips. <p class="p1">From the looks of it, the fourth installment in the series will be filled with plenty of computer-generated (CG) dinosaurs and Velociraptors<span style="line-height: 1.5em;">. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span style="line-height: 1.5em;">When the first "Jurassic Park" came out in 1993, it contained very little CG. Director Steven Spielberg originally wanted the dinosaurs in the film to be done through practical effects with stop motion.</span></p>
<p class="p1">It wasn't until producer Kathleen Kennedy spotted <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/jurassic-park-before-cgi-2014-6">CG test footage of a T-Rex on a computer screen</a> at visual effects studio <span>Industrial Light &amp; Magic (ILM)</span>, that it was decided to mix CG dinosaurs in with the live action film.</p>

<p class="p1"><span style="line-height: 1.5em;">There are only 14 minutes of dinosaur visual effects in "Jurassic Park," about four of which were made with a computer, but its lasting effect on movies has been monumental. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span style="line-height: 1.5em;">Two years later, 1995's "</span><a href="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0114709/" target="_blank">Toy Story</a><span style="line-height: 1.5em;">" was the first full-length computer-animated movie.</span></p>
<p class="p1">Today just about every film <span>- </span>from James Cameron's "<a href="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0499549/" target="_blank">Avatar</a>" to summer blockbusters like Michael Bay's "<a href="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0418279/">Transformers</a>" series <span>- </span>owes credit to CG.</p>
<p class="p1"><span style="line-height: 1.5em;">Business Insider spoke with Steve "Spaz" Williams, who was a CG Animator at ILM, the visual-effects studio that helped bring "Jurassic Park" to life.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span style="line-height: 1.5em;">Williams broke down the steps it took to bring the dinosaurs from paper and pad to the big screen in CG.</span></p>
<p><span style="line-height: 1.5em;"><strong>1. They begin with drawn designs and prosthetics of the different dinosaurs. </strong></span></p>
<p><span style="line-height: 1.5em;">The production used CG for velociraptors, brachiosauruses, and the tyrannosaurus rex, which Williams worked on primarily.</span></p>

<p>Williams explains it's like the opposite of 3-D printing with them taking an object and turning it into data.</p>
<p><strong>3. They then reconstruct the data to make it work in the computer.</strong></p>

<p><span>This is the framework for the dinosaur that helps provide its structure allowing it to stand up, move, and run.</span></p>
<p><span style="line-height: 1.5em;">"This is the first shot I animated for the movie after I built all of the T. rex data," says Williams. Next, the dinosaurs get their skin. </span></strong></br></br></p>
<p><span>"We used a program called Viewpaint, which allowed us to actually paint the texture of the skin in the computer so now we have this textured map," says Williams.</span></p>
<p><span style="line-height: 1.5em;"></span><strong>7. To put all of the separate images together,<span style="line-height: 1.5em;"> they needed to be rendered by massive graphics computers.</span></strong></p>
<p><span>"Now we substitute in this high-resolution mesh data into a low resolution wireframe. That's all being</span><span style="line-height: 1.5em;"> done in computer," says Williams. "It pretty much took 10 hours to calculate one frame. You have to remember film is 24 frames per second. So it would sit there and crunch all night."</span></p>
<p><span style="line-height: 1.5em;"><span style="line-height: 1.5em;">Williams built and animated the image below of the first fully rendered T. rex test. It was this video that</span><span style="line-height: 1.5em;"> convinced the producer Kathleen Kennedy and Steven Spielberg that "Jurassic Park" should be made in CG rather than stop motion.</span></span></p>

<p class="p1"><span>The point where the T. rex breaks through the log is 75 frames long. </span></p>

It took me four months to animate it, just to get the running to work properly," says Williams.</span></p>
<p><strong>8. From there, the dinosaur needs to be put into a scene through a process called compositing.</strong></p>
<p>This is where all the pieces to the puzzle are assembled together. CG shots are combined together with live-action shots and any background and foreground imagery <span style="line-height: 1.5em;">referred to as plate photography.</span></p>
<p><span style="line-height: 1.5em;">In this case, live-action shots of actors were combined with photography shoots in Kauai and ILM's work on the brachiosauruses and birds.</span></p>

Once it's put together, the images are reviewed to make sure they work. When everything looks good, the scene is put to film. </span></strong></p>
<p><span style="line-height: 1.5em;">Final images are reviewed on </span><span style="line-height: 1.5em;">a high-concentrated projector before translated to film.</span></p>
<p class="p1">All together, Williams says it took about a year to bring the dinosaurs to life.</p>
<p class="p1">"Basically May of '92 to May of '93 was the entire build and composite time for probably 40 shots," says Williams. </p>

<p><span>"We used a program called Viewpaint, which allowed us to actually paint the texture of the skin in the computer so now we have this textured map," says Williams.</span></p>
<p><span style="line-height: 1.5em;"></span><strong>7. To put all of the separate images together,<span style="line-height: 1.5em;"> they needed to be rendered by massive graphics computers.</span></strong></p>
<p><span>"Now we substitute in this high-resolution mesh data into a low resolution wireframe. That's all being</span><span style="line-height: 1.5em;"> done in computer," says Williams. "It pretty much took 10 hours to calculate one frame. You have to remember film is 24 frames per second. So it would sit there and crunch all night."</span></p>
<p><span style="line-height: 1.5em;"><span style="line-height: 1.5em;">Williams built and animated the image below of the first fully rendered T. rex test. It was this video that</span><span style="line-height: 1.5em;"> convinced the producer Kathleen Kennedy and Steven Spielberg that "Jurassic Park" should be made in CGI rather than stop motion.</span></span></p>

<p class="p1"><span>The point where the T. rex breaks through the log is 75 frames long. </span></p>

It took me four months to animate it, just to get the running to work properly," says Williams.</span></p>
<p><strong>8. From there, the dinosaur needs to be put into a scene through a process called compositing.</strong></p>
<p>This is where all the pieces to the puzzle are assembled together. CGI shots are combined together with live-action shots and any background and foreground imagery <span style="line-height: 1.5em;">referred to as plate photography.</span></p>
<p><span style="line-height: 1.5em;">In this case, live-action shots of actors were combined with photography shoots in Kauai and ILM's work on the Brachiosauruses and birds.</span></p>

<br />However, the former Indian captain is now making to make some money out of used cars by investing an undisclosed amount into car marketplace Cars24 and will now also be the startup’s brand ambassador. The investment is a part of the startup’s series D round of funding. <br /><br />“Besides being a fan of all things to do with cars, I am also a fan of new age companies that are disruptive, innovative and shaping the future. CARS24 is definitely one of these companies,” Dhoni said in a statement. <br /><br />Cars24, which was founded in 2015, has grown rapidly over the years and hoped to breakeven by December 2019.<br /><br />Cars24 sells over 13,000 cars every month through its platform and over 4 years has sold 1.6 lakh cars. The startup also recently opened up the doors for franchising, which will help it set-up 300 outlets in tier-2, tier-3 and tier-4 cities over the next two years. <br /><br />It also has the RBI approval to offer loans for the purchase of used cars. Currently present in 35 cities and 150 branches, Cars24 plans to be in 70 cities and 230 branches by 2019. <br /><br />“We only have 2% market share right now of the $30 billion used car market. In India, 5 million used cars are sold every year. Our objective is to take this number of 2% to 20% over the next 5 years,” co-founder and CEO Vikram Chopra had told Business Insider in an earlier interview.<br /><br />Dhoni’s money and brand will go a long way in supporting the dream.<br />
