The satirical drama starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Yami Gautam and Bhumi Pednekar is a story of Bala, a young man suffering from premature baldness. Controversy helps Bala Ayushmann's first look from "Bala" that was released in August caused anticipation among the audience. A month later, trailer of Abhishek Pathak's "Ujda Chaman" came out and it seemed to have the same story line, triggering charges of plagiarism. Comparisons <a href="https://www.businessinsider.in/entertainment/news/bollywood-is-going-bald-this-year-with-at-least-three-movies-on-the-same-topic/articleshow/71612443.cms">between "Bala" and "Ujda Chaman" </a>could not be avoided. However, Ujda Chaman starring Sunny Singh turned out to be a mediocre film.
