However, for a Delhi resident, ordering a <keyword id="21592794" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="gold-coin" source="keywords">gold coin</keyword> on Blinkit didn't go as expected. <keyword id="21245638" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="mohit-jain" source="keywords">Mohit Jain</keyword>, hailing from Delhi, recently shared his dissatisfaction after allegedly receiving the wrong item. According to a post on X, Jain claims he ordered a 1-gram gold coin along with a 10-gram silver coin on Blinkit, only to discover a 0.5-gram gold coin in the package instead. According to Jain, the order was prepaid, and he wasn’t home at the time of delivery, so he had his younger brother handle the transaction. After providing his brother with the necessary OTP, Jain was confident everything was okay. However, upon returning home 20 minutes later, he was dismayed to find the wrong coin in the delivery—an issue that only grew as he tried to resolve it. In a detailed post shared on X (formerly Twitter), Jain explained how he ordered 1 gm gold coin, but what he received was a 0.5 gm <keyword id="20650343" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="Malabar-Gold" source="keywords">Malabar Gold</keyword> coin with a rose design instead. Jain added that he reached out to the delivery agent and "almost cried". "I ordered 1 gm gold coin from blinkit, along with the 1gm silver coin. It was all prepaid. I wasn't there at home to receive the order, so I gave the otp to my younger brother to get it received. After 20 mins I reached home and saw wrong item was delivered I. I got 0.5gm Malabar gold coin (rose design). What I ordered was 1 gm Mata lakshmi gold coin," he wrote. Jain’s struggle didn’t end with the delivery mix-up. By the time he tried to address the issue, the 20-minute return window for the product had expired. Attempts to get in touch with Blinkit’s customer support proved equally frustrating. Jain shared screenshots of his conversation with Blinkit’s customer service team, where the automated response informed him that the return window had closed and suggested only that he “provide feedback to help improve services.” He added, "I couldn't contact any support executive. I called the delivery executive and literally cried while talking to him. He has the photos of coin before the delivery but he said that he can't do anything even after knowing that he delivered the wrong item. I do have CCTV footages too of getting wrong item delivered. Also It was the first and last time of me ordering something so expensive from blinkit as their customer support is pathetic, have to chat with AI bots." In an attempt to back up his claim, Jain also reviewed CCTV footage from his home that showed the delivery of the incorrect item. He posted images of both the 0.5-gram coin he received and the screenshot of his original order, which clearly displayed the request for a 1-gram coin featuring <keyword id="20375971" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="goddess-lakshmi" source="keywords">Goddess Lakshmi</keyword>. As it hit a fresh high for the second time this March, the yellow metal might see profit taking, believe experts. The metal’s prices zoomed as the US Fed maintained its outlook for a soft monetary policy, indicating three rate cuts this year. The yellow metal’s spike was supported by a sell-off in the US dollar after the <keyword id="19904332" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="federal-reserve" source="keywords">Federal Reserve</keyword> decision. “Markets are now pricing in a greater chance, around 70%, that the Fed will begin cutting interest rates at the June policy meeting, up from 55% before the Fed policy. The US Dollar declined, and international gold prices touched new highs in response to this dovish hold,” said Ghazal <keyword id="19950697" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="jain" source="keywords">Jain</keyword> Fund Manager- Alternative Investments, <keyword id="20391056" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="quantum-amc" source="keywords">Quantum AMC</keyword>. Book profits, re-enter at a lower price, say experts Experts however sound caution as the metal hits staggering heights. It was trading close to $2,225 per ounce in the international markets. Gold futures also increased 2.12% to $2,228.60 per ounce in New York. In India, contracts for April delivery rose 1.54% at ₹66,764 per 10 grams as investors built fresh positions. “We see some signs of caution, as well as their (Fed’s) projections, show an upward revision in economic growth to 2%, core-PCE inflation at 2.6% and an unemployment rate of 4% by year-end, which would make their rate cut task a little difficult,” observes <keyword id="21039523" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="pranav-mer" source="keywords">Pranav Mer</keyword>, VP, EBG - commodity &amp; currency research at <keyword id="20197853" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="jm-financial-services" source="keywords">JM Financial Services</keyword>. So much so, that a few even advise investors to book some profits at these prices. “While the fundamental backdrop of lower interest rates and geopolitical uncertainty looks supportive for gold, some profit-taking can be done at these levels. Fresh buys can wait for price dips,” says Jain. Agrees Mer, “Although we still maintain a positive in gold, we do expect some profit-booking, which can give us an opportunity to enter at a lower level.” Most analysts peg gold’s support levels at around ₹66,000/10 gm, though they believe that it has long-term potential to hit anywhere between ₹67,450-₹67,900.

Gold could see profit taking as it hits another new lifetime high

Bira 91 raises $25 mn to expand manufacturing footprint

New Delhi, The <keyword id="6404450" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="ministry-of-road-transport-and-highways" source="Orion">Ministry of Road Transport and Highways</keyword> (MoRTH) is confident of achieving the highways construction target of 13,814 kilometres for the current fiscal, its secretary <keyword id="20078656" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="anurag-jain" source="keywords">Anurag Jain</keyword> said on Friday. Addressing a press conference, <keyword id="19950697" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="jain" source="keywords">Jain</keyword> further said the total length of national highways in <keyword id="19895063" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="india" source="keywords">India</keyword> increased 60 per cent to 1,46,145 km till December 2023, from 91,287 km in 2014, since the <keyword id="19895781" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="narendra-modi" source="keywords">Narendra Modi</keyword> government came into power. "The pace of highway construction in 2023-24 so far has been better than last year, and we are confident of achieving the 13,814-km highway construction target during the current fiscal," he said. Up to December 31, 2023, the ministry has built 6,217 km of national highway, higher than last year's 5,774 km for the same period. According to him, the government is planning to award 10,000 km of national highway projects in 2023-24. Jain also said that the government has asked companies to prepare detailed project reports (DPR) for unawarded identified projects to increase the pace of awarding in 2023-24. He said the total length of four-lanes and above national highways (NHs) increased by 2.5 times to 46,179 km in December 2023 from 18,387 km in 2014. While the total length of high-speed corridors in 2014 was 353 km, which increased to 3,913 km in 2023, the total length of less than 2-lane national highways decreased from 30 per cent (2014) to 10 per cent of national highway network in 2023. Jain also said the road ministry has constructed 6,217 km of national highways up to December in 2023-24. He noted that expenditure on the ministry's highways construction expenditure is expected to increase by 9.4 times to Rs 3.17 lakh crore in 2023 from 2014. Jain said under the <keyword id="20078657" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="vehicle-scrapping-policy" source="keywords">Vehicle Scrapping Policy</keyword>, 44 registered vehicle scrapping facilities (RVSFs) are operational in India, while concession and motor vehicle tax was announced by 19 states/ Union Territories. As many as 49,770 vehicles were scrapped till date under the Vehicle Scrapping Policy, he added. Jain said state-owned NHAI has collected Rs 18,450 crore as toll till December in the current financial year.

Confident of achieving 13,814-km highway construction target this fiscal: Road secy

<keyword id="19900881" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="delhi" source="keywords">Delhi</keyword>'s finance minister Atishi presented the FY25 budget in the state assembly on Monday with an outlay of Rs 76,000 crore, announcing the 'Mukhyamamantri Mahila <keyword id="20820458" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="samman-yojana" source="keywords">Samman Yojana</keyword>' under which women aged 18 and above will get Rs 1,000 per month, and asserted the government is inspired by the ideals of <keyword id="20017410" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="ram-rajya" source="keywords">Ram Rajya</keyword>. In the budget tabled in the state assembly ahead of the general elections, she also announced that the Business Blasters scheme, which was till now being implemented in schools, will now be implemented in universities and Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs). Last year, the government had allocated Rs 78,800 crore for the financial year 2023-24 and announced nine schemes as part of the G20 preparations. The Delhi government's budget size for 2022-23 was Rs 75,800 crore and Rs 69,000 crore in the preceding year. This was the first time that Atishi presented the budget after taking charge of the finance department last year. In her budget speech, she remembered Manish Sisodia, former education minister, and <keyword id="20115511" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="satyendar-jain" source="keywords">Satyendar Jain</keyword>, former health minister, for their roles in shaping the education and health models in the national capital. "This is a moment of pride that the Kejriwal government is presenting its tenth budget today. I am not just presenting the tenth budget but a picture of changing Delhi. Kejriwal came as a ray of hope. We are all inspired by Ram Rajya. We are working hard towards realising the dream of Ram Rajya," she said. She proposed an allocation of Rs 16,396 crore for the education sector and highlighted the achievements of the AAP (Aam Aadmi Party) government in the field. Under the education budget, Rs 100 crore has been allocated to the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) for training teachers, and another Rs 150 crore has been proposed for the construction of new schools and classrooms. She proposed Rs 45 crore for the maintenance of existing classrooms and Rs 42 crore for Schools of Specialised Excellence in the 2024-25 fiscal. The minister announced an allocation of Rs 118 crore for sports education, Rs 1,212 crore for higher education and technical education and Rs 15 crore for "Business Blasters Senior". "The Kejriwal government will implement Business Blaster scheme in its universities and Industrial Training Institutes through Rs 15 crore allocation in budget," she added. The government announced a budget of Rs 8,685 crore for the health sector with Rs 6,215 crore being proposed for hospitals to maintain good facilities. "Under the Delhi government, there are 38 hospitals where treatment is provided free of cost to more than 81,000 OPD patients daily and 65,806 IPD patients monthly," she said. OPD stands for out-patient department, while in-patients department is referred as IPD. There are 530 Mohalla Clinics in Delhi currently, where every day, 64,000 people receive free medicines, tests, and treatment. So far, Mohalla Clinics have conducted more than seven crore OPD visits, she said. 'Farishtey Dilli Ke' scheme has saved the lives of 22,000 people, she shared. The minister announced a budget outlay of Rs 6,216 crore for various schemes under the Social Welfare Department, Women and Child Development Department and SC/ST/OBC Welfare Department. The government announced an allocation of Rs 2,000 crore for the 'Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman <keyword id="19955331" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="yojana" source="keywords">Yojana</keyword>' for the welfare and empowerment of women from 2024-25. Under this scheme, woman above 18 years of age will get Rs 1,000 per month, she said. For a woman to become eligible under the scheme, she should be a Delhi voter, should not be availing benefits under any other government scheme and should not be an income taxpayer, she said. According to the final electoral roll of Delhi published in January this year, there are 67,30,371 female voters in the national capital. Atishi announced an allocation of Rs 664 crore for all nutrition-related schemes. In 2014-15, the budget for law and justice was Rs 760 crore, she said. "I am delighted to share that by 2024-25, it has increased by nearly four-fold to reach Rs 3,098 crore," she said. The minister announced that in 2024-25, the Delhi government will begin the construction of four court complexes in Rohini, Karkardooma, Shastri Park, and Rouse Avenue. "These will include courtrooms, lawyer chambers, libraries, and modern facilities, totalling 250 new courtrooms. The number of people receiving free legal services through the Delhi State Legal Services Authority was 33,000 in 2016. Last year, this figure increased nearly four-fold, reaching 1.25 lakh," she shared. The finance minister announced an allocation of Rs 902 crore for unauthorised colonies. Talking about the transport sector, she said that Delhi will have over 10,000 buses in its fleet, including 80 per cent electric buses. She announced Rs 7,195 crore for the Delhi Jal Board, Rs 510 crore for induction of electric buses in DTC and cluster buses fleet and Rs 500 crore for Delhi Metro. Often, the focus is on the birthing parent that their partners are forgotten and sometimes not even prepared. Insider asked 23 moms about what they wish their partners knew about the<a target="_blank" href="https://www.insider.com/guides/parenting/how-long-does-postpartum-depression-last"> postpartum</a> period. Themes like loneliness,<a target="_blank" href="https://www.insider.com/what-to-expect-after-giving-birth-2018-9"> physical discomfort</a>, and a sense of being changed were the most common responses. Here's what the mothers wish their partners knew. <h2>It can be very lonely</h2>Despite plenty of well wishes and visitors coming to see the new baby, lots of moms said that they were incredibly lonely postpartum. Being the only person they knew experiencing postpartum pain, the difficulties of breastfeeding, or the challenges of adapting to motherhood left many women feeling emotionally isolated, even when they were surrounded by other people. <ul><li>"The physical, mental, and emotional pressure that new moms carry is the heaviest, loneliest thing in the world," said<a target="_blank" href="https://www.mamacollaborative.com/about"> Claire Holmes</a>, 35.</li><li>"<a target="_blank" href="https://www.insider.com/guides/parenting/breastfeeding-positions">Breastfeeding</a> would be the hardest, loneliest, darkest experience of my motherhood journey," said <a target="_blank" href="https://affiliate.insider.com?h=0b88459aa04fc94622326664c97308c3f30836528037c92ee61a4d2fa7a07868&amp;postID=6515b63bd34cd129df3a65df&amp;postSlug=moms-postpartum-what-they-wish-their-partners-knew-2023-9&amp;site=in&amp;u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.linkedin.com%2Fposts%2Ferinfgallagher_leadership-health-culture-activity-6932714115010363392-Ug2c%2F">Erin Gallagher</a>, 41.</li><li>"I wish my partner understood how isolating postpartum can feel. While it's historically been painted as a period for bonding with a newborn, it's also a time of immense personal change," said <keyword id="23580707" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="yulia-saf" source="keywords">Yulia Saf</keyword>, 35.</li><li>"Postpartum is lonely. Even when you're surrounded by family, have visitors pouring in through the door, and have a beautiful baby by your side, it's the loneliest thing I've ever experienced," said Beth McCallum, 28.</li></ul><h2>Recovering from birth is really hard</h2>While there's lots of talk about the challenges of giving birth, many women felt their partners didn't understand the physical and emotional recovery that happened after the baby arrived. Recovering from tears, cesarean sections, and even straightforward vaginal deliveries was compounded by the physical demands of caring for a newborn while navigating sleep deprivation. <ul><li>"Giving birth isn't the end of the physical and emotional marathon — it's just the beginning," said<a target="_blank" href="https://amyandrose.com/author/amyrose/"> Amy Smith</a>, 36.</li><li>"The recovery process after giving birth is more challenging than many anticipate. It's not just about the physical healing; it's also about the emotional adjustments," said <a target="_blank" href="https://www.barklikemeow.com/about-us/">Eloisa Hife</a>, 32.</li><li>"I wish my partner understood just how much effort it takes to carry a child and give birth. It's not only the nine months of pregnancy, which can be exhausting in itself but also the physical toll that labor and childbirth take on your body," said<a target="_blank" href="https://easykitchenguide.com/about-us/"> Lori Walker,</a> 32.</li><li>"Birth is not just a brief event: recovery can be challenging," said <a target="_blank" href="https://affiliate.insider.com?h=eb6034bdea937409af68ab90200c94fc54575fb41a55db9c78c644091b9c398b&amp;postID=6515b63bd34cd129df3a65df&amp;postSlug=moms-postpartum-what-they-wish-their-partners-knew-2023-9&amp;site=in&amp;u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.linkedin.com%2Fin%2Fministry-of-cleaning%2F%3ForiginalSubdomain%3Dau">Prerna Jain</a>, 32.</li><li>"Postpartum recovery can be incredibly taxing and even painful," said <a target="_blank" href="https://healyes.co/pages/about">Lauren Byington</a>, 35.</li></ul><h2>You are not who you once were</h2>Lots of the mothers felt deeply changed by childbirth, physically and emotionally. They expressed some frustrations that their partners didn't understand just how profound these changes were or that their partners expected them to "bounce back," becoming the same after birth as they'd been before it. <ul><li>"Mothers are also, in a way, giving birth to ourselves in the new role as mother," said <a target="_blank" href="https://www.originmotherandchild.com/">Jaime Goldman</a>.</li><li>"I wish men really understood the fourth trimester. You feel like an alien in your own body trying to figure out how to find your old self," said <a target="_blank" href="https://blockchnmedia.io/about">Eliza Gwendalyn Mova</a>, 36.</li><li>"I felt like a completely different person physically and emotionally. I don't think partners understand how much change women go through during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. It can take years to feel like yourself again," said<a target="_blank" href="https://www.talesplash.com/about"> Amy Jackson</a>, 42.</li><li>"Giving birth is an out-of-body experience, except you don't come back into the same body; it's completely different. I am completely different. There's a new part of me, and no, I'm not talking about the stretch marks alone," said<a target="_blank" href="https://littlewinkssleep.com/about-us"> Anna McMillan</a>, 34.</li></ul><h2>It's overwhelming</h2>Many women expressed that they needed their partners to make decisions proactively. That's because their exhaustion was so deep that even a little decision or knowing what to ask for felt like too much. <a target="_blank" href="https://www.evolvingwhole.com/">Abbey Sangmeister</a>, 42, said she was so tired after giving birth that she couldn't verbalize what she needed. "If partners, friends, and family could anticipate one's needs like having food they love ready for them, keep their water bottles filled, and change any diapers," she said. For <a target="_blank" href="https://mendingtimemama.com/about/">Therese Masiello-London</a>, 42, even the smallest decisions were overwhelming amid the fog of sleepless nights. "I was so physically and mentally exhausted," she said. "There were many days when even the simplest tasks felt overwhelming. Making a simple decision, such as what outfit to put on the baby, felt like too much." <h2>Intimacy isn't a priority</h2><a target="_blank" href="https://www.instagram.com/nicole_Kumi/">Nicole Kumi</a>, 41, wished that someone had told her partner that while he was craving sexual intimacy, she was feeling touched out and insecure in her body, with little desire for sex. "The intimacy is not a priority for us in those first few months," she said. "Women are focused on survival and caring for another human, and sometimes our partners cannot conceptualize that." <h2>Learn about postpartum depression</h2>Postpartum depression is t<a target="_blank" href="https://www.insider.com/signs-of-postpartum-depression-ppd-2017-11">he most common complication</a> for women who have just given birth. Many of the moms wished their partners knew a bit more about the condition and how common it is — affecting about <a target="_blank" href="https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK519070/#:~:text=Around%20one%20in%20seven%20women,her%20relationship%20with%20the%20infant.">one in seven women</a>. <ul><li>"I wish that my partner (and our society) knew that having postpartum depression didn't mean anything was wrong with me. I was simply experiencing some biochemical and hormonal shifts," said <a target="_blank" href="https://claireuncapher.com/">Claire Uncapher</a>, 46.</li><li>"Postpartum depression does not discriminate to those exclusively with mental health issues. It can impact anyone," said <a target="_blank" href="https://momafterbaby.com/about/">Karissa Whitman</a>, 31.</li></ul><h2>The blues will pass</h2>The <a target="_blank" href="https://www.marchofdimes.org/find-support/topics/postpartum/baby-blues-after-pregnancy">baby blues </a>— feelings of sadness that are usually more fleeting than postpartum depression — affect about 80% of new moms. <a target="_blank" href="https://surrogacymama.com/">Gennifer Rose</a> wanted her partner — and herself — to know that the feelings were normal and would pass. "Even when you're beaming with pride holding your baby, you have this little cloud hanging over you. As an experienced mother with more than one child, you know that this feeling is temporary and it will pass. But when it's your first baby, it's an emotion that you really don't expect," said Gennifer R. <h2>You can only do so much at birth</h2>While having a supportive birth partner is important, women want their partners to understand that when it comes to labor, most of the work falls on the birthing parent. <ul><li>"I wish we both had understood it was me and me alone getting the baby out. He could be as kind, caring, and loving as possible, but truly, there was no way to know what I would need and nothing anyone else could do for me," said <a target="_blank" href="http://www.carrielevine.com">Carrie Levine</a>, 52.</li><li>"Labor may be long," said <a target="_blank" href="https://www.babycenter.com/expert-olivia-delong">Olivia DeLong</a>, 37. "Pack things to keep occupied: books, an iPad loaded with shows, and a pillow for times when you'll be sleeping or resting on an uncomfortable pull-out bed."</li></ul><h2>Quiet is essential</h2><a target="_blank" href="https://theporterhouse.co/pages/our-story-the-porter-house-company-woman-black-owned-home-decor">Tahwii Spicer</a>, 38, wished her partner understood how much she wanted a calm environment, even amid the excitement of welcoming a baby. "The desire to create a peaceful, quiet, and warm bubble around our family while we adjusted without much interruption from the outside world was all I truly yearned for," she said. <h2>There's so much pride</h2>A decade after giving birth, <a target="_blank" href="https://www.goldcoastdoulas.com/about-kristin-revere/">Kristin Revere</a>, 49, still remembers how powerful she felt. "I wish that my partner and all partners could understand the amazing feeling of accomplishment we have after giving birth, no matter how we birth our babies," she said. "The closest thing I can relate to is the feeling of running a really good race and being overjoyed and exhausted at the same time." <h2>We need to learn how to communicate</h2>With so many unspoken changes swirling around, many women said that learning (or relearning) how to communicate openly was critical. <ul><li>"The biggest hurdle of parenting is actually communicating with one another," McMillan said.</li><li>"I wished my partner understood the importance of open communication. Sharing fears, anxieties, and joys can strengthen the bond during this transformative period," Hife said.</li></ul>

<ul><li>Delhi Police has filed an FIR against former <keyword id="7349800" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="bharatpe" source="Orion">BharatPe</keyword> co-founder Ashneer <keyword id="3433" type="General" weightage="100" keywordseo="grover" source="Orion">Grover</keyword>, his wife <keyword id="10739150" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="madhuri-jain" source="Orion">Madhuri Jain</keyword> Grover.</li><li>The FIR, a copy of which has been seen by PTI, was filed under eight sections of the Indian Penal Code, including 406 that deals with criminal breach of trust, 420 (cheating and dishonesty), 467 and 468 (forgery).</li></ul>New Delhi, The Economic Offences Wing of the Delhi Police has filed an FIR against former BharatPe co-founder Ashneer Grover, his wife Madhuri Jain Grover and family members Deepak Gupta, <keyword id="346867" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="suresh-jain" source="Orion">Suresh Jain</keyword> and Shwetank Jain for an alleged Rs 81 crore fraud after a complaint by the fintech unicorn. The FIR, a copy of which has been seen by PTI, was filed under eight sections of the Indian Penal Code, including 406 that deals with criminal breach of trust, 420 (cheating and dishonesty), 467 and 468 (forgery). BharatPe in the complaint alleged that Grover and his family caused damages of about Rs 81.3 crore through illegitimate payments to bogus human resource consultants, inflated and undue payments through passthrough vendors connected to the accused, sham transactions in input tax credit and payment of penalty to GST authorities, illegal payment to travel agencies, forged invoices by Madhuri Jain and destruction of evidence. If convicted, Grover, Madhuri and others can face up to anything between 10 years to life imprisonment. EOW now has the power to arrest all the accused. BharatPe welcomed the registration of FIR saying, "For the last 15 months, the company has been facing a vicious and malicious campaign run by Grover against the company, the board and its employees". "The registration of the FIR is a step in the right direction, which unearths various suspicious transactions made by the family for their personal pecuniary gains," it said in a statement. The FIR, it said, will now enable law enforcement agencies to investigate deeper into the criminality and bring the culprits to books. "We have full faith in our country's judicial and law enforcement systems and are optimistic that this case will reach its logical conclusion. We will continue to extend all possible cooperation to the authorities," it added. In December 2022, BharatPe filed a criminal complaint against Grover and his family with the EOW of Delhi Police, alleging fraud of Rs 81.28 crore, criminal breach of trust, conspiracy, cheating, forgery and destruction of evidence. The same month, it also filed a civil suit with the Delhi High Court against its former MD and co-founder Grover and his family, seeking up to Rs 88.67 crore in damages for alleged cheating and embezzlement of funds. The suit, running into 2,800 pages, alleges that Grover, his wife Madhuri Jain and other family members created fake bills, enlisted fictitious vendors to provide services to the company and overcharged the company for recruitment. Madhuri Jain was the head of controls at BharatPe and was fired earlier in 2022 after a forensic audit revealed several irregularities. Subsequently, Ashneer Grover resigned as CEO in March 2022. BharatPe, last year, hit the headlines when Grover was accused of using inappropriate language and threatening a Kotak Group employee for failing to secure an allotment and funding for the Nykaa IPO for himself and his wife Madhuri Jain Grover. Thereafter, BharatPe appointed Alvarez and Marsal, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas and PwC to conduct a corporate governance review and determine whether Grover had committed willful misconduct. This led to the ouster of Jain and Grover from the company and its board in March. On May 10, 2022, BharatPe said that after the detailed review, the company had decided to take steps against employees involved in misconduct and claw back Ashneer Grover's restricted shares. "The complaint was received at EOW and enquiry has been conducted into the allegations levelled against alleged persons. From the contents of the complaint and enquiry conducted so far, prima-facie offences punishable under Sections 406/408/ 409/420/467/468/471/120B IPC (Indian penal code) are made out," the FIR copy reads. BharatPe had filed an arbitration claim in Singapore to claw back restricted shares (1.4 per cent) allotted to Grover and prevent him from using the title of a founder. In January this year, Koladiya sued Grover reclaiming the shares transferred in December 2018. Last month, the company's co-founder <keyword id="10222571" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="shashvat-nakrani" source="Orion">Shashvat Nakrani</keyword> sued Grover over "unpaid shares".
