Zomato Everyday is currently available in select areas of Gurugram only, with fresh meals starting at only Rs 89. In its Q3 FY23 results, Zomato had said it was working on remodelling the <keyword id="13431191" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="zomato-instant" source="Orion">Zomato Instant</keyword> service to focus on offering its customers home-style cooked meals at affordable prices (will be called Zomato Everyday). Zomato launches home-style cooked meal delivery service, starts ₹89

The 10-minute delivery platform, acquired by Zomato for ₹4,447 crore (about $568 million) sand the curreny facility is available in some areas now. "Have never had a printer at home and getting it from cyber cafe or library or neighbours or offices has always been cumbersome specially when it's needed at the point of approaching deadlines," said Jitesh Goel, Product at Blinkit. "This should be really useful specially at the rates it is available at. You just have to upload the file and we will deliver it to you in minutes. And we will delete the uploaded file after delivery. Do try it out and share your feedback," he said in a LinkedIn post. The new service on the platform arrives as Zomato is set to experiment with cross leveraging its customers base for Blinkit and vice versa. "We will also start working on integrating the delivery fleet back-ends which should drive higher delivery efficiency over time," Zomato Founder and CEO Deepinder Goyal said recently. Tech integrations between the two companies will accelerate the pace of progress at both ends, he added. According to the company, the losses for Blinkit are coming down every month -- from ₹2,040 million (about $26 million) in January 2022 to ₹929 million ($12 million) in July. The company said that Blinkit has also shut down a number of unviable dark stores, which were not scaling and the team will continue to evaluate non-performing stores. In just six months, the Blinkit business has scaled to 20 per cent of Zomato's food delivery GOV while being present in less than 15 cities. If the Swiggy customer is an existing ICICI Bank customer, he or she can instantly start using the wallet. The delivery service, available since 2016, allows restaurants and retailers to offer delivery through their own digital channels — a feature rivals like Grubhub and Uber Eats didn't offer until years later. Drive is used by chains like Chipotle and Wingstop. While Cash on Delivery is available to any restaurant using DoorDash Drive, DoorDash said pizza and Chinese restaurants have been early adopters of Cash on Delivery during testing. DoorDash said pizzerias opting in for cash upon delivery had seen the most value, with nearly 20% of pizza orders paid with cash.Ohio-based Donatos Pizza has been testing Cash on Delivery for nine months. The fast-casual pizza chain has more than 440 locations in the US."Cash On Delivery through DoorDash Drive is one way we've maintained this high-quality service our loyal customers expect, as we can grow our business online while still enabling customers to pay with cash should they desire," Ben Smith, director of operations development at Donatos, said in a statement. Pizzerias have historically performed their own deliveries long before the rise of delivery apps like Grubhub and DoorDash. "Operators are looking for support in fulfilling off-premise demand," DoorDash said. "Our white-label fulfillment platform that powers direct delivery for businesses is one flexible solution that enables restaurants to meet off-premise customer demand without requiring operators to invest in their in-house delivery."DoorDash said delivery drivers who use Cash on Demand benefit because they gain instant access to their earnings. All of the cash collected is theirs to keep, including 100% of tips, DoorDash said. The total order amount is deducted from their weekly earnings. DoorDash said nearly 500,000 Dashers have completed a cash delivery over the past year.
