The scrip of the company soared 14.45 per cent to trade at Rs 163.07 apiece on the <keyword id="19938957" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="national-stock-exchange" source="keywords">National Stock Exchange</keyword> (NSE). On the BSE, shares of Inox Wind zoomed 13.80 per cent to trade at Rs 162 per piece. Meanwhile, the stock of <keyword id="22282426" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="Inox-Wind-Energy-Ltd" source="keywords" meta.keywordsubtype="org" meta.entityname="Inox Wind Energy Ltd" meta.hostid="261" meta.entityid="Inox Wind Energy Ltd">Inox Wind Energy Ltd</keyword> (IWEL) jumped 5 per cent each of Rs 7,562.25 and Rs 7,552.65 apiece to hit its upper circuit limit on the bourses. In the morning session, the 30-share BSE Sensex rose 154.79 points or 0.19 per cent to trade at 80,141.59, while Nifty climbed 47.45 points or 0.2 per cent to 24,333.95. On Thursday, Inox Wind Ltd (IWL) said its promoter IWEL has infused Rs 900 crore into the company, following which the wind energy solutions provider will become a <keyword id="22282357" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="net-debt-free" source="keywords">net debt-free</keyword> company. "This fund infusion will help us become a net debt-free company, strengthening our balance sheet and help accelerate our growth. We expect substantial savings in interest expenses going ahead, aiding our profitability further," <keyword id="19951113" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="kailash-tarachandani" source="keywords">Kailash Tarachandani</keyword>, CEO of Inox Wind said. The funds were raised by the IWEL on May 28, 2024, through sale of equity shares of IWL through block deals on the stock exchanges, witnessing participation of several marquee investors, as per the company statement. The funds will be utilised by Inox Wind Ltd to completely pare down its external term debt to achieve a net debt-free status, it added. Net Debt is a metric that determines how well a company can repay all of its debt it was due immediately. "Net debt free status is excluding promoter debt," Inox Wind said.

With this, the total orders awarded to Inox Wind from NTPC to date stands at 550 MW, the company said in a statement. Inox Wind has bagged the order for a 150 MW wind power project from NTPC Renewable Energy Limited. The project will be executed in the state of Gujarat, it added. Inox Wind CEO Kailash Tarachandani said as part of the order, his company will supply and install existing and new technology state-of-the-art wind turbine generators at the project site. Inox Wind gets 150-MW wind energy project from NTPCREL

New Delhi, Dec 30 () Inox Wind on Monday said that it has entered into an agreement with Continuum Power Trading (TN) Pvt Ltd to supply, erect and commission 250 mw wind power projects in Gujarat.
 "Inox Wind... has signed a term sheet with Continuum Power Trading (TN) Pvt Ltd, part of Continuum Wind Energy group, to supply, erect and commission 250 MW of wind power projects (in two phases of 126 MW and 124 MW) comprising of a mix of 2 MW (113 metre rotor diameter turbine combined with 92 metre hub height) and 3 MW (145 metre rotor diameter turbine combined with 120metre hub height) turbines," the company said in a filing to BSE.
 The first phase of 126 mw of the project is scheduled to be commissioned by the third quarter of FY21 at Dayapar in Bhuj district, Gujarat, and will be executed on a turnkey project basis.
 As part of the order, Inox Wind will provide Continuum Power with end-to-end solutions from development and construction to commissioning and providing long-term operations and maintenance services.
 "Common infrastructure such as 220 KV pooling substation at Dayapar, 220 KV bay at Power Grid Corporation Of India Limited (PGCIL) Nirona End, 220 KV transmission line for 72 km is ready and the project will be executed on a plug-and-play basis," the company said.
