The initial share sale of KRN Heat Exchanger and Refrigeration Ltd garnered 213.26 times subscriptions on the closing day of bidding on Friday, helped by overwhelming participation from institutional investors. The ₹342-crore Initial Public Offer (<keyword id="19898327" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="IPO" source="keywords">IPO</keyword>) had a price range of ₹209-220 per share. The Rajasthan-based company manufactures fin and tube-type heat exchangers for the heat ventilation, air-conditioning and refrigeration industry. The company's entire manufacturing operations are carried out at its consolidated manufacturing facility comprising two industrial plots situated in the RIICO Industrial Area, Neemrana, <keyword id="19898913" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="Rajasthan" source="keywords">Rajasthan</keyword>. The company has a 7,800 sq. mt manufacturing facility in Neemrana, Rajasthan. Its customers include Daikin, Blue Star, Carrier, Voltas and more. It also exports its products to the USA, UAE, UK and more. The company’s income was ₹308.28 crore in FY24, up from ₹247.48 crore in FY23. The company reported a profit after tax (PAT) of ₹39.07 crore in FY24, up from ₹32.31 crore PAT reported in FY23. KRN Heat Exchanger share price jumps over 118% on listing

Shares of <keyword id="19906778" type="General" weightage="100" keywordseo="Infosys" source="keywords">Infosys</keyword> climbed nearly 5 per cent in morning trade on Friday, a day after the IT major reported a 7 per cent rise in consolidated net profit in the April-June quarter and raised its growth outlook for the current financial year. The stock jumped 4.76 per cent to hit a 52-week high of Rs 1,843 on the BSE. At the NSE, it climbed 4.88 per cent to Rs 1,844 -- its 52-week high. The company's market valuation rallied Rs 20,843.19 crore to Rs 7,51,247.27 crore during the morning trade. The stock emerged as the biggest gainer among the BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty firms. IT major Infosys on Thursday reported a 7 per cent rise in consolidated net profit at Rs 6,368 crore in the April-June quarter and raised its growth outlook for the current financial year, signalling an improvement in the IT segment. With improvement in business, Infosys has shared plans to hire 15,000-20,000 freshers depending on the growth during the year. The company has been reporting continuous decline in headcount since March 2023 quarter. In the year-ago period, the company clocked a profit of Rs 5,945 crore, according to a BSE filing. "Infosys' Q1 numbers on all parameters have beaten market expectations," said V K Vijayakumar, Chief Investment Strategist, Geojit Financial Services. The consolidated revenue of Infosys increased by 3.6 per cent to Rs 39,315 crore during the reported quarter, from Rs 37,933 crore a year ago. For the current fiscal year, the company raised its revenue growth guidance to 3-4 per cent in constant currency terms from 1-3 per cent predicted earlier.

The stock went up by 3.10 per cent to Rs 4,044.35 on the BSE. At the NSE, it rallied 3 per cent to Rs 4,044.90. The company's <keyword id="20097096" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="market-valuation" source="keywords">market valuation</keyword> jumped Rs 40,359.77 crore to Rs 14,59,626.96 crore in morning deals. The stock emerged as the biggest gainer among the Sensex pack. "The positive domestic cue is the better-than-expected numbers from TCS and positive management commentary which can lift most IT stocks," said V K Vijayakumar, Chief Investment Strategist, Geojit Financial Services. In the equity market, the 30-share BSE Sensex climbed 226.11 points to 80,123.45 in early trade. Net profit for the year-ago period stood at Rs 11,074 crore. The company - which competes in the IT services market with the likes of Infosys, Wipro and HCLTech - reported 5.4 per cent increase in revenue at Rs 62,613 crore for the quarter just ended. "I am pleased to report a strong start to the new fiscal year with all-round growth across industries and markets," K Krithivasan, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of TCS, said in a release. TCS has declared an interim dividend of Rs 10 per equity share of Re 1 each. Meanwhile, other IT stocks -- Infosys, Tech Mahindra, HCL Technologies and Wipro -- were also in demand.

On the BSE, shares of Inox Wind zoomed 13.80 per cent to trade at Rs 162 per piece. In the morning session, the 30-share BSE Sensex rose 154.79 points or 0.19 per cent to trade at 80,141.59, while Nifty climbed 47.45 points or 0.2 per cent to 24,333.95. On Thursday, Inox Wind Ltd (IWL) said its promoter IWEL has infused Rs 900 crore into the company, following which the wind energy solutions provider will become a <keyword id="22282357" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="net-debt-free" source="keywords">net debt-free</keyword> company. "This fund infusion will help us become a net debt-free company, strengthening our balance sheet and help accelerate our growth. We expect substantial savings in interest expenses going ahead, aiding our profitability further," <keyword id="19951113" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="kailash-tarachandani" source="keywords">Kailash Tarachandani</keyword>, CEO of Inox Wind said. The funds were raised by the IWEL on May 28, 2024, through sale of equity shares of IWL through block deals on the stock exchanges, witnessing participation of several marquee investors, as per the company statement. The funds will be utilised by Inox Wind Ltd to completely pare down its external term debt to achieve a net debt-free status, it added. Net Debt is a metric that determines how well a company can repay all of its debt it was due immediately. "Net debt free status is excluding promoter debt," Inox Wind said.

As of 2:15 pm today, HMIL's shares were trading at Rs 1,910.00 on NSE, up by 4.97%. On BSE, shares of HMIL were also up by 4.76%, trading at Rs 1,907. The IPO had a price band of Rs 1,865-1,960 per share. Yesterday, Hyundai Motors India experienced a muted debut on the exchanges, opening at Rs 1,934, at a discount of Rs 26, or 1.3%, below the issue price of Rs 1,960. The dull debut resulted in <keyword id="23654838" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="listing-day-losses" source="keywords">listing day losses</keyword> worth 7.16% for investors. The stock slipped even further to close the day at Rs 1,819.6, about 6% below the issue price. The stock opened today at Rs 1,815.20 before inching up during the day. <keyword id="19972907" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="retail-investors" source="keywords">Retail investors</keyword> were largely unenthusiastic about this IPO, subscribing only 0.5x to the offer. The issue sailed over and managed to get a 2.37x subscription thanks to <keyword id="21713453" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="QIBs" source="keywords">QIBs</keyword> (qualified institutional buyers), who pitched in and oversubscribed around 700% to the issue. This was despite Hyundai's IPO being the first share sale in India by an automaker in over 2 decades. The last time an automobile giant rolled their wheels into Indian markets was in 2003, when Japanese carmaker Maruti Suzuki came with its IPO worth Rs 993.35 crore. <h2> Mega IPOs, dud returns</h2>While HMIL's IPO was the biggest initial share sale in the country ever, even surpassing LIC's initial share sale of Rs 21,000 crore, it continued the trend of mega-IPOs delivering subpar returns. Data suggests that only 3 out of India's biggest-ever IPOs managed to deliver positive listing day gains. Even LIC's listing had yielded listing-day losses of about 7.75% for investors. Only Coal India's issue worth Rs 15,199 crore, which opened for subscription in 2010, and Zomato's issue worth Rs 9,375 crore in 2021 have managed to duck this trend. While Coal India's debut delivered listing day gains worth 39.73%, Zomato yielded a staggering 65.59% debut gain for its investors. In the last decade, DLF's IPO worth Rs 9,187 crore, which came in 2007, resulted in listing day gains of about 8.58% for its investors.

Per reports, the profit per lot in this <keyword id="19898327" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="IPO" source="keywords">IPO</keyword> is Rs 2,464 The IPO had a price range of Rs 318-334 a share. The Delhi-based company has been providing Chauffeured Car Rentals (CCR) and Employee Transportation Services (ETS) to corporate customers for more than 25 years. It operates a fleet of more than 9,000 vehicles from economy to luxury cars, across 109 Indian cities. It also provides speciality vehicles like luggage vans, limousines, vintage cars and vehicles for accessible transportation for people with disabilities. Shivani Nyati, Head of Wealth, Swastika Investmart Ltd noted that <keyword id="22886052" type="General" weightage="100" keywordseo="ECOS-Mobility" source="keywords">ECOS Mobility</keyword> &amp; Hospitality made a promising stock <keyword id="20491150" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="market-debut" source="keywords">market debut</keyword>, which was fueled by the strong investor interest in the IPO's 64.18 times subscription and a substantial grey market premium. "While the listing was encouraging, investors should remain cautious due to the company's mixed financial performance. Despite top-line growth, profitability has declined, indicating potential challenges in managing costs and maximizing returns. The IPO's valuation appeared higher, based on the P/E ratio, which might have contributed to the relatively modest listing gain compared to the pre-listing hype. Additionally, the company's status as a complete offer for sale means it won't receive any new funds from the IPO, potentially limiting its ability to accelerate growth or address challenges", she continued. "Those who want to hold it may keep a stop loss at around 350", said Nyati. The road transport sector, under which the company operates, is set to have a GDP of around $184.7 billion by FY2030, rising at a CAGR of 8.2% in the FY2022 to FY2030 period. Naturally, this burgeoning sector will work in favor of the corporate mobility and shared mobility segments, also as employment generation within the Indian tertiary sector remains robust in the medium and long-term. Bengaluru-based Stanley Lifestyles is among the few Indian companies operating in various price categories, including super-premium, luxury, and ultra-luxury, through its multiple brands. Stanley Lifestyles shares jump over 38% in debut trade

The stock soared 13.70 per cent to hit 52-week high of Rs 299 on the BSE. On the NSE, the stock climbed 13.77 per cent to Rs 298.80 -- its 52-week high. Shares of UltraTech Cement also jumped 6.51 per cent to hit the one-year peak of Rs 11,875.95 on the BSE. The board of directors of the company at its meeting held on Thursday approved "making a financial investment to purchase up to 7.06 crore equity shares of the India Cements Ltd," a regulatory filing by UltraTech Cement said. The deal would be at "at a price of up to Rs 267 per share," and this non-controlling financial investment constitutes around 23 per cent of the equity share capital of India Cements, the filing said. India Cements' turnover for financial year 2023-24 stood at Rs 5,112 crore. UltraTech Cement has a consolidated capacity of 152.7 Million Tonnes Per Annum (MTPA) of grey cement. It has 24 integrated manufacturing units, 33 grinding units, one clinkerisation unit and 8 bulk packaging terminals.

"I have absolutely no political agenda," Théo said in an email to The Journal.Théo could see an $80 million payday if Trump wins the election, or he could lose all of the $30 million he has placed in various bets if Harris wins.The Journal noted that the person is stuck in the trades due to the massive size of his bets and the relatively low liquidity of the market. According to data from Polymarket, Théo controls about 25% of the contracts for Trump to win the Electoral College and more than 40% of the contracts for Trump to win the popular vote.If Théo were to liquidate those contracts before the election on Tuesday, he'd likely be unable to sell all of his positions at current prices, as too much selling pressure could push the price of the contracts substantially lower.For example, a hypothetical sale of Théo's 47 million shares for Trump to win the election would execute at an estimated average price of just $0.02, according to Polymarket, which would represent a 96% loss for the trader. Théo paid an average price of about $0.56 cents for the 47 million shares.Meanwhile, a hypothetical sale of Théo's nearly 20 million shares for Trump to win the popular vote would execute at an average price of less than a 10th of a penny, according to Polymarket, representing a near-total loss.With so much money on the line, Théo said he is feeling nervous, though he believes Trump has an 80%-90% chance to win the election."A surprise can always occur," Théo told The Journal.
