<ul><li>Hyundai at <keyword id="11174044" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="ces-2022" source="Orion">CES 2022</keyword> showcased how robots can play a big role in the metaverse.</li><li>It gave examples of robots acting like our digital twins with whom we can interact in the metaverse.</li><li>Hyundai also envisioned putting robots on Mars and letting people experience how it feels to be on the red planet.</li></ul>Hyundai also wants to jump into the metaverse but its visions for this virtual space are more futuristic and ambitious. At <a href="https://www.businessinsider.in/tech/news/samsung-ces-2022-announcements-cloud-gaming-nft-new-tvs/slidelist/88661459.cms">CES 2022</a>, Hyundai showcased concepts of using Boston Dynamics<a href="https://www.businessinsider.in/tech/news/italian-researchers-develop-flying-humanoid-robot-like-iron-man/articleshow/88178772.cms"> robots </a>to help humans “overcome the physical limitations of movement in time and space.” What it wants to do is create a digital twin of yourself which will be a robot at home doing your chores or experiencing things on your behalf. Hyundai gave this example of accessing your digital twin in the metaverse and feeding or hugging your pet at home even if you’re away. The same can be applied in factories where the user guides the robot in the <a href="https://www.businessinsider.in/tech/enterprise/news/mark-zuckerberg-on-indias-role-in-building-the-metaverse/articleshow/88295433.cms" data-type="tilCustomLink">metaverse</a> to work on things in the real world. A more futuristic example given by Hyundai was the possibility of people experiencing what it’s like to be on Mars without actually being there. In a video showcased by Hyundai, a father and daughter are seen experiencing the red planet through a Boston Dynamics Spot robot that’s physically present there. Spot who is on Mars who will scan the planet collecting real-time data and imagery for your digital avatars to experience in the metaverse. Hyundai also envisions this technology to let you experience how a sandstorm feels with real-time wind data collection and even touch rocks and other objects. Hyundai’s visions for the metaverse world are more complex and go beyond the limitations of VR. It’s a new concept of the metaverse that combines robotics and mobility for ‘Metamobility’ through which people will be able to overcome the physical limitations of movement in time and space. This is only a concept for now and we don’t know when such a metaverse experience will actually be possible. But it does give us a peek into the future which seems exciting but scary at the same time. Hyundai wants to bring Mars to the metaverse so you don’t have to go there

The prototype of the first electric bus has reached the national capital, informed <keyword id="66" type="General" weightage="100" keywordseo="delhi" source="Orion">Delhi</keyword> Transport Minister <keyword id="2893545" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="kailash-gahlot" source="Orion">Kailash Gahlot</keyword> on Sunday. "Congrats Delhi! After a long wait, the prototype of DTC's first 100 per cent Electric bus has reached Delhi!," the Minister tweeted along with the pictures of the new buses. He further said that Chief Minister <keyword id="260213" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="arvind-kejriwal" source="Orion">Arvind Kejriwal</keyword> will soon flag off a new fleet of electric buses. Recently in an interview with IANS, Gahlot had declared that Delhi will have its first fleet of 300 buses by January 2022. "As far as the CNG buses are concerned, the Delhi government will order 800 Compressed Natural Gas buses in two batches -- 450 in the first and 350 in the second. Post that, we will procure only electric buses for public transport in the future," he said then. The Minister further informed that the government has also floated tenders for the 100 charging stations and 100 more will follow in the second lot. "These are apart from the existing 100-plus charging stations in various locations of Delhi," Gahlot said, adding other than that DTC is planning to set up such stations at Dwarka sector-8, Dwarka sector 2 depot, Mehrauli terminal, Nehru Place Terminal, Okhla CW-II, Sukhdev Vihar depot and Kalkaji depot. In the next one year, Delhi will have charging stations within every three km, he promised. As the large number of vehicles plying on Delhi roads are said to be one of the main contributors of pollution in the city, the electric buses are expected to reduce the burden of pollution in the national capital which is currently reeling under severe levels of air quality index.
