Indore, Apr 22 () "Hum Honge Kamyab", a key anthemof the civil rights movement, has become one of the moraleboosting songs being sung by suspected coronavirus patients inthe ward of Indore's ESIC hospital.In a video being widely circulated on the socialmedia, the inmates of the ward can be seen singing the famousHindi song and clapping together, in what can be described asa vow to defeat the coronavirus.Indore is one of the worst-hit cities which so farreported 923 coronavirus positive cases and 54 deaths."We have seen that COVID-19 suspected patients arevery much anxious about their health prospects and becomerestless," Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC)hospital superintendent Suchitra Bose said on Wednesday.Bose said that apart from medicines they are alsoemploying music therapy to boost morale of the inmates."We play devotional and inspirational songs," Bosesaid.Explaining positives of the music therapy, Bose saidit keeps atmosphere in the ward lively and encourages not onlypatients but medical personnel as well."A total of 30 suspected patients are currentlyremained admitted in the ESIC hospital. Bhopal, Apr 22 () As many as 44 COVID-19 patients,including police personnel and doctors, were dischargedfollowing recovery in Madhya Pradesh's Bhopal city, officialsaid on Wednesday.A police band welcomed the recovered patients with thesong "Hum Honge Kamyab," an official from the state publicrelations department said.At least 44 persons, including 22 police personnel andhealth workers, who had tested positive for coronavirusearlier, were discharged after recovering from the infection,he said.Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan congratulated thedischarged patients for winning the fight against the deadlyvirus and spoke to them over video conferencing.As of Wednesday afternoon, the count of COVID-19 casesin Bhopal stood at 303.
