1) European Central Bank Discussing Securities-Buying Program. Reuters' Mike Peacock <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/r-exclusive-ecb-debating-abs-covered-bond-purchase-plan--2014-9#ixzz3CLOqRBhB">reports</a> Brussels is considering launching an asset-backed securities (ABS) and covered bond purchase program worth up to 500 billion euros. "ECB President Mario Draghi will likely announce such a program at his news conference unless it comes up against strong opposition at the Governing Council's policy meeting," he writes. "The program would have a duration of three years and comprise both ABS and covered bond purchases. The ECB could begin buying the assets this year, the people familiar with the discussions told Reuters."
2) Bank Of Japan Unchanged. Despite the Japanese economy's having contracted at the fastest rate since early 2011, BOJ Gov. Haruhiko Kuroda said the plan increase the country's monetary base by Y60tn to Y70tn per year remained in place. "Analysts weren't expecting a change but many believe deteriorating economic data and slowing inflation will force the hand of the bank, as it aims to increase the country's monetary base by Y60tn to Y70tn per year with a goal of hitting 2 per cent inflation by next year," <a href="http://on.ft.com/YcVlyy">the FT writes</a>, adding, "The BoJ continually pledges that it will loosen policy if necessary, but so far it's remained relatively upbeat about the economy. Besides, Governor Haruhiko Kuroda tends to say it's structural reforms, not monetary loosening, that the country needs."
3) Bank of England Unchanged. Gov. Mark Carney announced he would keep rates at 0.5%, as expected, and would continue to target 375 billion sterling's worth of asset purchases.
4) Goldman Warns On Scotland Vote. The bank, along with two other groups, says a Eurozone style financial crisis could erupt in Britain if Scotland votes to secede. "Uncertainty over a currency union [could cause] a run on assets and deposits based north of the Border," <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/goldman-sachs-scottish-independence-could-trigger-a-eurozone-style-financial-crisis-2014-9">the Telegraph reports</a>. "Alex Salmond has said the three main U.K. parties are bluffing by ruling out a formal deal to share the pound, but the global investment bank concluded the warning was 'credible.' "
5) JPMorgan Downgrades GoPro. Analysts changed their rating from "overweight" to "neutral" saying the stock is now overvalued, <a href="http://www.streetinsider.com/Momentum+Movers/JPMorgan+Downgrades+GoPro+%28GPRO%29+to+Neutral/9805122.html">according to StreetInsider</a>. Shares in the camera maker are down 5% pre-market. They were previously trading at about $56. 
6) Bloomberg's Back. The former New York City Mayor says he will come back on to lead Bloomberg L.P., the company he founded in 1981. "...in recent months, Mr. Bloomberg - who still owns 88 percent of the company - has become <a href="http://www.nytimes.com/2014/01/18/business/media/bloomberg-refocuses-on-news.html" title="About Mr. Bloomberg's presence.">an increasing presence</a> at Bloomberg's Lexington Avenue headquarters," <a href="http://www.nytimes.com/2014/09/04/business/media/michael-bloomberg-to-return-as-chief-of-company-he-founded.html?hp&amp;action=click&amp;pgtype=Homepage&amp;version=HpSumSmallMedia&amp;module=first-column-region&amp;region=top-news&amp;WT.nav=top-news&amp;_r=0">the New York Times' Andrew Ross Sorkin reports</a>. "Those 'few hours' soon turned into six and seven hours a day with Mr. Bloomberg taking a hands-on role in meetings and strategy decisions. [Outgoing CEO Dan] Doctoroff, 56, a former deputy mayor of New York and <a href="http://topics.nytimes.com/top/reference/timestopics/subjects/p/private_equity/index.html?inline=nyt-classifier" title="More articles about private equity." class="meta-classifier">private equity</a> executive, told Mr. Bloomberg about two weeks ago that he planned to resign, frustrated with how the leadership dynamic had shifted. 7) German GDP Forecast Slashed. The HWWI economic institute has cut German 2014 GDP forecast to 1.6% from 2.2%, and for 2015 from 2.5% to 2%, on the lowered dynamism of the eurozone and geopolitical risks, <a href="https://twitter.com/schuldensuehner/status/507484101855940609">according to Die Welt's </a><a href="https://twitter.com/schuldensuehner/status/507484101855940609">Holger Zschaepitz.</a>
8) Mobileye Is Down. Shares in the assisted driving software developer are off 3.1% after reporting flat year-over-year GAAP earnings. We recently <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/how-mobileye-technology-works-2014-8/#.VAhKzGRdWmM">discussed</a> why Wall Street thinks this company is at the vanguard of firms investors should look to to invest in the autonomous driving revolution. 
9) A Ton Of Data. At 8:15 we get ADP private payrolls. At 8:30, weekly jobless claims, the U.S. trade balance, and productivity and costs. At 9:45 a.m. we get the PMI reading for the services industry, and finally at 10 a.m. we get the ISM's non-manufacturing survey.
10) Markets. Stocks in Asia are mostly down. Japan's Nikkei is off 0.33%. European shares are mostly higher, with London's FTSE up 0.3%. U.S. futures are higher, with S&amp;P futures up 0.3%.

In fact, most dictionaries today don't include antidisestablish-mentarianism. It's rarely used anymore, according to Merriam-Webster's <a href="http://www.merriam-webster.com/help/faq/long_words.htm" target="_blank">FAQs page.</a> (Apparently, a lot of people wonder about this.)
Antidisestablishmentarianism was a political position during the Reformation. King Henry VIII wanted to divorce his wife, so he split from Roman Catholicism. Those against him were "anti" the "disestablishment" of the Church of England and thus, didn't approve of the budding Anglican Church.
It's an interesting addition to your <keyword id="27192" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="60" keywordseo="vocabulary">vocabulary</keyword> and historical knowledge. But the word only contains 28 letters - not the longest one in the <keyword id="111112" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="60" keywordseo="English-language">English language</keyword>.
We compiled a short list of longer <keyword id="6355068" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="60" keywordseo="Words">words</keyword> below (excluding chemical compounds, which can run up to <a href="http://www.digitalspy.com/fun/news/a444700/longest-word-has-189819-letters-takes-three-hours-to-pronounce.html" target="_blank">189,819 letters.)</a>
1. <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Longest_word_in_English" target="_blank">Aequeosalinocalcalinoceraceoaluminosocupreovitriolic</a>: noun, a word coined by Dr. Edward Strother to describe the spa waters in Bath, England.
At 52 letters, this is the longest English word ever created that appears outside literature. Many scholars in the 17th Century (Dr. Strother's time) spoke Latin fluently. Therefore, much of the word stems from the dead romance language. Let's break it down.
"Aequo" means equal in Latin. 
"Salino" comes from "salinus," the Latin word for "containing salt."
"Calcalino," "aluminoso," and "cupreo" are all derivative words of their corresponding minerals: calcium, aluminum, and copper, respectively. Waters at the bathhouse must have contained all three.
"Cera" (embedded within "caraceo") means "wax" in Latin.
Finally, "vitriolic" functions as an adjective, meaning "resembling <a href="http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/vitriol" target="_blank">vitriol</a>." And vitriol is a sulfate of any of various metals (as copper, iron, or zinc). 
These waters were a solution of equal parts salt, calcium, aluminum, copper, and other metallic sulfates that felt sort of waxy.
2. <a href="http://www.merriam-webster.com/medical/pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis" target="_blank">Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis</a>: noun, a pneumoconiosis caused by inhalation of very fine silicate or quartz dust.
<a href="http://www.merriam-webster.com/medical/pneumoconiosis?show=0&amp;t=1379598322" target="_blank">Pneumoconiosis:</a> noun, a disease of the lungs caused by the habitual inhalation of irritants (as mineral or metallic particles) - also called miner's asthma, miner's consumption. 
Medical terminology does tend to read lengthy, but at 45 letters, this disease is the longest.
The medical prefix "pneumo" comes from the Latin word "pneuma" meaning wind, air, or breath.
"Ultra" is another prefix borrowed from Latin which means "to the furthest degree possible."
<a href="http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/silica" target="_blank">"Silica"</a> (changed to silico for phonological purposes) is the dioxide form of silicone, usually occurring as quartz sand.
The suffix "osis" refers to an abnormal or diseased condition.
And we all know what "microscopic" and "volcano" mean. (Silica is often found in volcanic rocks.)
So pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis is a condition affecting air flow to the furthest degree possible, caused by silica, potentially from a volcano. <a href="Floccinaucinihilipilification"></a>
3. <a href="http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia" target="_blank">Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia</a>: noun, fear of long words. 
This word has four basic components changed to fit together phonologically: hippopotamus, monstrous, sesquipedalian, and phobia.
Many theorize "hippopoto" was added as an etymological joke to make the word a little longer - and thereby making people who suffer from the syndrome even more terrified. <a href="http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/sesquipedalian" target="_blank">"Sesquipedalian"</a> is an adjective that means having many syllables.
String all these together, at 36 letters, and hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia means fear of monstrously multisyllabic words.
4. <a href="http://oxforddictionaries.com/definition/english/supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" target="_blank">Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious</a>: adjective, extraordinarily good; wonderful.
Made famous by the song of the same title in the children's movie <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Mary-Poppins-40th-Anniversary-Edition/dp/B0002VEPRQ" target="_blank">"Mary Poppins,"</a> this word somehow ended up in the Oxford Dictionary.
Robert and Richard Sherman co-wrote the song for a duet with Julie Andrews and Dick Van Dyke, famous songbirds of the '60s. It's no wonder the 34-letter word stuck.




5. <a href="http://www.merriam-webster.com/medical/pseudopseudohypoparathyroidism" target="_blank">Pseudopseudohypoparathyroidism</a>: noun, a relatively mild form of pseudohypoparathyroidism that is characterized by normal levels of calcium and phosphorus in the blood. 
For further understanding, <a href="http://www.merriam-webster.com/medical/pseudohypoparathyroidism" target="_blank">pseudohypoparathyroidism:</a> noun, a usually inherited disorder that clinically resembles hypoparathyroidism but results from the body's inability to respond normally to parathyroid hormone rather than from a deficiency of the hormone itself. 
And <a href="http://www.merriam-webster.com/medical/hypoparathyroidism?show=0&amp;t=1379606798" target="_blank">hypoparathyroidism:</a> noun, deficiency of parathyroid hormone in the body. 
The Latin prefix "pseudo" means false, deceptive, or inauthentic. Two "pseudos" amplifies the meaning. 
The prefix "hypo" means under, below, or lower, and "para," in this case, means beyond or past. 
Suffererers of this syndrome, which is made up of 30 letters, have a twice false, beyond lower (than normal), thyroid issue. 
6. <a href="http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/floccinaucinihilipilification" target="_blank">Floccinaucinihilipilification</a>: noun, the estimation of something as valueless (encountered mainly as an example of one of the longest words in the English language)<a href="Floccinaucinihilipilification"></a>.
Back in the 18th Century, Eton College created a grammar book which contained a section listing all the words in Latin that meant "of little or no value" according to <a href="http://www.worldwidewords.org/weirdwords/ww-flo2.htm" target="_blank">World Wide Words.</a> As a joke, someone stuck them all together and added "ification," meaning the act of doing something, to make a 29-letter noun.
Some of these words don't appear in any dictionary, we know. But that doesn't mean they aren't words. Words that appear in the dictionary must meet three criteria: widespread use, sustained use, and meaningful use, according to a lexicographer from <a href="http://www.merriam-webster.com/video/0048-longest_word_in_dictionary.htm" target="_blank">Merriam Webster.</a>

Besides those four we also saw zebra, giraffe, a hippopotamus, and an impala.Our safari guide took us through the park in an open jeep. The guide sits in the jeep, and then there's also a patroler who sits in a seat up front built outside of the car with a gun, just in case. This isn't your average trip to the zoo. You're seeing these animals in their natural habitat and you're getting close enough to actually touch them.On our first trip, our guide instructed us to always keep all limbs in the vehicle, and to not make any sudden movements or loud noises. You're never permitted to leave the vehicle - although my dad did lean pretty far out once to snap a picture of an elephant. The wine routes are all pretty much within an hour of Cape Town, and the vineyards along them not only offer beautiful scenery, but sophisticated wine and delicious food. The country's signature variety is known as pinotage, a red wine grape that was bred as a cross between Pinot noir and Cinsaut. Some of South Africa's best wines include the <a href="http://www.broadbent.com/sadie-family/">Sadie Family</a> Columella, the <a href="http://mullineuxwines.com/mullineux-wines">Mullineux Wines Granite Syrah</a>, and the <a href="http://www.kanonkop.co.za/product/paul-sauer/">Kanonkop Paul Sauer</a>.My family drove what's known as the Garden Route. We started in Oudtshoorn, made our way down south to Plettenberg Bay and the Cape Agulhas, then drove north to Gansbaai, continued to Stellenbosch, and ended our route in Cape Town. It took us a total of five days. We took a look at the <a href="http://www.faceadrenalin.com">world's highest bungee jump</a> (Bloukrans Bridge) - unfortunately we didn't actually try it - and saw the Cape Agulhas, which is South Africa's southernmost tip and the dividing point between the Atlantic and Indian Oceans.Just before we made it to Cape Town, we stayed at <a href="http://www.grootbos.com/en/home">Grootbos Private Nature Reserve</a> in Gansbaai. The luxury eco-lodge describes itself as a "floral and marine eco-paradise." At Grootbos, guests can do anything from a nature walk to horseback riding to whale watching to shark cage diving. There's also a spa.My mom and sister opted for the nature walk, while my dad and I went whale watching and horseback riding. We saw both whales and seals, and witnessed some shark cage divers. We only stayed there for a few days, but we probably could have stayed there for our whole trip and not run out of things to do. We were only there for a couple days, so we didn't get to see all that much. One of the city's most popular attractions is Table Mountain, which overlooks Cape Town and provides great views. Unfortunately it was extremely foggy when we were there, so it wasn't worth taking a trip to the top. Besides the waterfront, Cape Town is home to many visitor attractions. You can take a trip to <a href="http://www.robben-island.org.za/map/">Robben's Island</a> to see the maximum security prison where Nelson Mandela served 18 years, lounge on Beta Beach or Oudekraal (both just 10 minutes from Cape Town's center), see endangered penguins at the <a href="http://www.sanparks.org/parks/table_mountain/tourism/attractions.php#boulders">Boulders Penguin Colony</a>, and of course sample some mouthwatering seafood at restaurants all over the city.I made the decision to get my whole head braided, which in retrospect, was not my best idea. After four very painful hours at a local salon, my family headed back to our hotel and flew back home the next day.
