The initial share-sale of the Mumbai-headquartered company is a complete offer for sale (OFS) by promoter CA Magnum Holdings, part of Carlyle Group, according to the draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) filed on Friday. CA Magnum Holdings has 95.03 per cent stake in the IT company. Since the entire issue is an OFS, all the proceeds from the IPO will go directly to the selling shareholder, rather than to the company. Explaining the reason for going public, the company said it is aimed at achieving the benefit of listing equity shares on stock exchanges and carrying out OFS for the selling shareholder. If successful, Hexaware's maiden public issue would be the largest in the country's <keyword id="20078432" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="IT-services-sector" source="keywords">IT services sector</keyword> since Tata Consultancy Services' Rs 4,700-crore IPO over two decades ago. Hexaware Technologies is a global digital and technology services company with artificial intelligence (AI) at its core and having a diverse range of customers, including 31 of the Fortune 500 organizations. It serves customers across the Americas, Europe and Asia-Pacific (including India and the Middle East). The company manages its business through six operating segments -- financial services, healthcare and insurance; manufacturing and consumer; Hi-tech and professional services; banking, and travel and transportation. Its offerings encompass five broad services -- Design &amp; Build, Secure &amp; Run, Data &amp; AI, Optimize, and Cloud Services -- and delivers its services through AI-enabled digital platforms such as Rapid for digital transformation, Tensai for AI-powered automation and Amaze for cloud adoption. The company has 31,870 employees across 28 countries. Hexaware's previous promoter, Baring Private Equity Asia, delisted the company in 2020. Almost a year after the delisting, Carlyle Group acquired Baring's stake in Hexaware. As of financial year 2023, the company's revenue from operations was Rs 10,380 crore with a profit after tax (PAT) of Rs 997 crore, and for six months ended June 2024, revenue from operations was Rs 5,684 crore with a PAT of Rs 553 crore. Kotak Mahindra Capital Company, Citigroup Global Markets India, JP Morgan India, HSBC Securities and Capital Markets (India), and IIFL Securities are the book-running lead managers for the company's IPO. New Delhi, Jun 12 () IT firm Hexaware on Friday said its board has approved the appointment of ICICI Securities as merchant banker for delisting of the company from stock exchanges. Earlier this month, Hexaware promoter firm HT Global IT Solutions Holdings had expressed its intention to voluntarily delist Hexaware's shares from Indian bourses. In a regulatory filing on Friday, Hexaware said its board has approved the appointment of ICICI Securities Ltd (merchant banker) for the purposes of carrying out the due diligence. "After the receipt of the due diligence report by the merchant banker, the board will meet again to discuss and take a decision on the delisting proposal," it added. The board has also authorised identified personnel to take all necessary steps to procure from the stock exchanges details of trading in shares of the company for a period of two years prior to June 12. They will also provide details of off-market transactions by such shareholders for a period of two years and any other necessary information that the merchant banker deems fit in connection with the due diligence. Shares of Hexaware were trading 1.44 per cent higher at Rs 324.20 apiece on BSE in afternoon trade on Friday. The promoters have offered Rs 285 per share (indicative offer price) for the delisting proposal. The indicative offer price represents a premium of 9.8 per cent (for BSE) and 10 per cent (for NSE) over the closing market price as on June 4, 2020, on the stock exchanges, Hexaware had said in its June 5 filing. The impact of the coronavirus on the Indian stock market is indicative of how the global market might be headed for turbulent waters as coronavirus continues to spread. The outbreak is already affected sectors associated with travel and tourism as travellers cancelled their flights to countries with reported infections. Moreso, global events like One Mobile Congress were cancelled and Facebook also cancelled its annual developers meet to be held in May. Shares of airlines companies have already taken a 10% plunge. Interglobe Aviation, IndiGo’s parent company, is down by 9.99% while SpiceJet fell by 6.06%. Rating agency ICRA notes that the outlook for airline stocks continues to look bleak in view of the outbreak. Indian investors lose ₹5 lakh crore as the coronavirus sweeps over the stock market

Indian stocks consolidated on Friday after a 4-day drop in prices prompted investors to bottom fish among beaten down valuations. Traders, meanwhile, hunted for price action on the first day of the new monthly series in the derivatives space. 
 
The Nifty rose 5 points to 8,117 points at the start of trade. Dr. Reddy's, ICICI Bank, Yes bank, NTPC and Vedanta gained ground on the index while ONGC, M&amp;M, ITC, Hindustan Unilever and Infosys dropped in trade. The Advance-Decline Ratio stood at 28/20 on the Nifty. 
 Dr. Reddy's, ITC and Axis Bank were the top traded stocks on the index while Suzlon, Unitech and HCC topped the most traded chart on the <keyword id="53581" type="CITY" weightage="80" keywordseo="NATIONAL-STOCK-EXCHANGE">National Stock Exchange</keyword>. 
 
Bits of green were seen on the broader markets where the CNX 100, CNX 200 and CNX 500 indices inched up a little. The trend was mixed in the sectoral space with the FMCG benchmark dropping the most, about a percent. Small dips were seen on Auto, Media and software sectors while the pharma index gained more than 1 percent. The Banking sector perked up as well with modest gains seen on private and PSU banks. 
The Sensex inched up 18 points to 26,856 on the Bombay Stock Exchange. Reliance Industries, Tata Steel, Sun Pharma and Lupin were among gainers. Maruti, Tata Motors and Bajaj Auto dropped in trade. The Advance-Decline Ratio stood at 14/18 in the first half of trade with Dr. Reddy's, Axis Bank and Larsen being the top traded shares on the Sensex. 
 
The wider market saw bulls dominating the first 30 minutes of trade with 928 stocks gaining compared with 439 that fell. 
 
Trade was tentative in the futures and options space where the first day of the new monthly series took root. Traders whetted out winners from losers with Glenmark, Bharat Forge and Dr. Reddy's Futures gaining ground. Dips were seen in futures of Hexaware, Apollo Tyres and Just Dial. Most sectors were in the green except for futures belonging to the capital goods, FMCg and Technology spaces. 
 State Bank of Travancore, TRF and Praj Industries made it to the top volume buzzers list on the <keyword id="6354646" type="CITY" weightage="80" keywordseo="NSE">NSE</keyword>. Bombay Rayon, LT Foods and NIIT Technologies hit fresh highs in early deals while JM Financial and Murli Industries sunk to new lows.

The <keyword id="6354813" type="COMPANY" weightage="100" keywordseo="nifty">Nifty</keyword> may remain in a consolidation phase with an upward bias as traders await the outcome of The Reserve Bank of India's moves on the Interest rate front on Tuesday. The crisis in the Parliament's monsoon session has deepened with 25 MPs from the Congress being suspended for obstructing work. 
 
Meanwhile, the SGX Nifty signals a 7-point gap down opening for the Nifty today. The central bank is likely to maintain status quo on rates but its commentary on the outlook for oil prices, inflation and the deficits will decide the near-term fate of indices. 
 
Global cues are flat. Major Indices in the US fell between 0.3-0.5 percent on Monday. The trend was mildly bullish in European markets with top indices adding 0.8-1.2 percent, except for the UK market, which fell 0.1 percent. Sentiment from the commodity space remains positive for Indian equities. Gold Futures slipped for a 2nd day, to fresh 5-1/2 year lows; Oil Futures inched up, while the metal complex remained weak. And stocks in Japan, China and Hong Kong are down between 0.1-0.5 percent. 
 
The Nifty Index closed at 8,543 points, up 10 points, on Monday. PSU banks led the advance. The index is now trading substantially above its 200-DMA, indicating that bulls are in control of the market. The Nifty has a strong support at 8,500-8,450 levels while the resistance is seen at the 8,567-8,637 point level. 
 
Sentiment is mixed in the cash market. Foreign Institutional Investors posted net buys of `350 crores on Monday, their first purchase in 6 days. In contrast net sales of `33 crores from domestic investors were totalled, their first negative figure in 7 days. The derivatives space was muted. There were net sales worth 188 crore rupees for Index Futures; Purchases of 463 crore rupees for Stock Futures; Purchases of `589 crore rupees for Index options and net sales of 49 crore rupees for Stock Options. 
 
Today's major earnings are from Bharti Airtel, Britannia, JK Tyres and Hexaware Tech.

Indian stocks snapped a three-day winning streak on Tuesday as traders preferred to book partial profit ahead of crucial earnings data from market heavyweights. Midcaps were in demand in the capital goods, power and technology sectors. 
 The <keyword id="6354813" type="COMPANY" weightage="100" keywordseo="nifty">Nifty</keyword> fell 6 points to 8,268 at the start of play with Cipla, Hindalco, Vedanta, ACC and Bharti <keyword id="15491" type="COMPANY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Airtel">Airtel</keyword> dipping in trade. Strong buying was witnessed in <keyword id="42747" type="CITY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Tata-Motors">Tata Motors</keyword>, TCS -- post the sharp fall in the price after earnings -- Lupin, GAIL and Infosys to begin with. The Nifty saw an Advance-Decline Ratio of 22/28 and Lupin, SKS Micro and Cipla were the top traded stocks on the National Stock Exchange. 
 Broader indices were flat but positive traction was seen on the CNX Mid Cap and the CNX Small Cap benchmarks. The trend remained mixed in the sectoral space with benchmarks representing banking, <keyword id="34523" type="CITY" weightage="100" keywordseo="fmcg">FMCG</keyword>, Energy, Metals and Pharma sectors slipping in early deals. Indices tracking the realty and software sectors inched up in trade. 
 Sentiment was flat on the Bombay Stock Exchange with the <keyword id="6484188" type="CITY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Sensex">Sensex</keyword> trading 20 points lower at 27,345 levels. Cipla, Hindalco, ONGC, ITC and Coal India were under pressure while NTPC, BHEL and Infosys rose in trade. The Advance-Decline Ratio on the Sensex stood at 13/17. 
 
Cipla, Tata Motors and TCS were the top traded stocks on the BSE. 
 
While major benchmarks remained flat, the bulls retained control of the overall market where 1,139 shares gained compared with 601 that fell. 
 
Trading turnover was modest in the futures and options space where mid cap futures were in heavy demand. Smart gains were seen on Power sector futures such as Reliance Power and Adani Power. IDFC, Adani Enterprises and Hexaware were among the other strong gainers. Profit booking was witnessed on Cipla, Hindalco, Marico and IFCI futures. Overall, there were more gainers in the derivatives space compared with losers. 
 
Schneider Electric Infrastructure, AstraZeneca Pharma and Repro India were some of the major stocks figuring on the volume buzzers list on the NSE.
