<ul class="summary-list"><li>According to arrest warrants obtained by Insider, ex-Vine star <keyword id="11776552" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="60" keywordseo="hayes-grier">Hayes Grier</keyword> is believed to have assaulted someone.</li><li>Grier was accused of taking someone's phone and conspiring with <keyword id="11776553" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="60" keywordseo="luke-foushee">Luke Foushee</keyword>, another star.</li><li>On Friday, Grier was arrested and hit with three <keyword id="1327818" type="PERSON" weightage="60" keywordseo="Felony">felony</keyword> charges.</li></ul><p>Ex-Vine star and "Dancing in the Stars" contestant Hayes Grier is believed to have assaulted someone, inflicting brain damage and head bleeding among other injuries, according to Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, arrest warrants obtained by Insider.</p><p>The Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office's <a href="https://inmateinquiryweb.mecklenburgcountync.gov/Inmate/Details?pid=0000494130&amp;jid=21-022965&amp;activeOnly=False&amp;prisType=ALL&amp;maxrows=48&amp;page=1axrows=48&amp;page=1">arrest records</a> show the 21-year-old was arrested in Charlotte, North Carolina, under three charges - common law robbery, felony conspiracy, and assault that inflicts serious bodily injury - at 4:17 p.m. on Friday with a $17,500 bond. Grier, who did not immediately reply to a request for comment, was released at midnight, records show. </p><p>According to the arrest warrants, which list Grier's home as in Encino, California, a magistrate found probable cause that Grier assaulted a man and gave him a "broken left orbital bone, brain damage, bruised ribs, bleeding from the back of the head, swelling behind left ears, [and] loss of hearing in the left ear."</p><p>The warrants also allege that Grier stole the victim's iPhone SE, which is allegedly worth $1,200, and that Grier conspired to commit the felony with Luke Foushee, a fellow former <keyword id="1535994" type="COMPANY" weightage="60" keywordseo="Vine">Vine</keyword> micro-influencer, who did not immediately respond to a request for comment. </p><p>The warrants report that the incidents occurred on July 26. Details surrounding the alleged incident remain unclear.</p><p>Grier, who has over 5.6 million followers on Instagram, 880,000 on YouTube, and 520,000 on TikTok, is a social media influencer known for posting vlog-style videos with friends and comedy skits. He initially blew up on the now-defunct video app Vine in 2013. </p><p>At 15 years old in 2015, he became the youngest male to participate in ABC's "Dancing with the Stars," partnering with "Mamma Mia!" actress Emma Slater on the show's 21st season. <ul class="summary-list"><li>Hayes Grier allegedly beat a man so viciously he suffered brain damage and loss of hearing.</li><li>He was arrested in Charlotte, <keyword id="6397385" type="LOCATION" weightage="60" keywordseo="north-carolina">North Carolina</keyword> on charges including assault and robbery.</li><li>Grier gained fame on Vine and went on to compete on "Dancing With The Stars."</li></ul><p><keyword id="1864633" type="PERSON" weightage="60" keywordseo="Influencer">Influencer</keyword> Hayes Grier has been arrested for allegedly beating a man so badly he suffered brain damage and stole the victim's $1,200 phone.</p><p>Grier, 21, is accused of attacking William Markolf on Monday resulting in injuries, including bruised ribs, loss of hearing, and a broken eye socket, according to <a href="https://www.tmz.com/2021/07/31/vine-star-influencer-hayes-grier-arrested-robbery-assault-brain-damage-phone/">TMZ</a>.</p><p>He was arrested in Charlotte, North Carolina, and charged with felony conspiracy, common law robbery, and assault causing serious bodily injury. </p><p>Grier was released after posting $17,500 bail and is due to appear in court at 9am on Monday, according to <a href="https://www.charlotteobserver.com/sports/nfl/carolina-panthers/article253166513.html">The Charlotte Observer.</a></p><p>Records said that another man, Luke Foushee, was a co-conspirator in the assault, but he has not been arrested yet.</p><p>Grier rose to fame on now-defunct social media platform Vine, often making videos with one of his brothers, Nash. He went on to compete on "Dancing With The Stars" in 2015, becoming the youngest male competitor at age 15.</p><p>He has a significant social media following, including 5.6 million followers on <keyword id="819905" type="COMPANY" weightage="60" keywordseo="Instagram">Instagram</keyword> and more than 880,000 YouTube subscribers.</p><p>Hayes Grier is the younger brother of Carolina Panthers' backup quarterback Will Grier. At one stage, the family had its own reality show, "Top Grier."</p>
