A wide range of guests - from employees to business associates - were invited for another reception, titled 'Mangal Utsav', on Sunday at the same venue. Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the venue on Saturday to bless the couple. Three different invitations were sent out for the wedding and the receptions with top-run guests being sent a large red box that contained an intricate chest incorporating a mini silver temple featuring gold idols of various Hindu deities, including Lord Ganesh, Radha-Krishna, and Goddess Durga. The invitation revealed different cards for each wedding function with one crafted from silver and resembling the main gate of an ancient temple. It included several keepsakes, such as an embroidered cloth with the initials 'AR' for Anant and Radhika, a blue shawl and a silver box filled with more gifts. The simplest invitation was in a laptop-sized box with silver statues of three Gods and invitation cards. The guests were asked to confirm their presence through an email or Google Form. Those confirming their presence received a message that read: "We have received your RSVP and we look forward to welcoming you... the QR codes will be shared 6 hours prior to the event." The QR codes messaged to the mobile phones and emailed were scanned to allow entry into the venue where different coloured paper wristbands were tied on the wrist of all the guests that gave them access to different zones depending on the colour. Several film stars and cricketers as well as business tycoons like Korean electronic giant Samsung Electronics Chairman Lee Jae-yong and his wife sported a pink wristband on their wedding day and a red one on Saturday. Employees, security and service staff wore different coloured wristbands. Ushers and a multi-layer security cover secured the sprawling venue, two sources aware of the matter said. Detailed fire and other emergency plans were worked out while an elaborate medical response preparedness resembled one reserved for heads of state. The medical response preparedness included doctors and paramedical staff with all emergency equipment at the venue. Ambulances had clearly demarcated routes to the nearest hospitals which had been primed in advance for dealing with any sort of medical emergency. "The Ambanis did not want to leave anything to chance," a source revealed. Another source said the time between the QR Code being sent and the actual event was cut this time as in the previous <keyword id="20727512" type="General" weightage="100" keywordseo="Ambani-wedding" source="keywords">Ambani wedding</keyword> some had "sold" the access to non-invited people. The dress code for all the events was Indian and international guests too wore designer traditional clothes such as embroidered sherwanis and bandhgalas. John Cena paired a powder-blue sherwani with white pants while Nick Jonas wore a pink sherwani and white pants. Samsung head too came dressed in a sherwani for the event. Most guests wore different clothes for the 'baraat' or wedding procession and the actual wedding on Friday. The Saturday event featured all the guests invited for the wedding as well as some additional important people. The guest list includes former British Prime Ministers Tony Blair and Boris Johnson, Saudi Aramco CEO Amin H. Nasser, reality TV star Kim Kardashian and her sister Khloe, Nigerian rapper Rema, and footballer David Beckham. Business tycoon Gautam Adani came to the wedding holding hands of his little granddaughter with his son Karan and wife Preeti in tow. Kumar Mangalam Birla too came with his family. Almost the entire top rung Bollywood actors -- from Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan to Ajay Devgn, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Tiger Shroff and Varun Dhawan -- were present, most with their families, while superstars Rajinikanth, Ram Charan and Mahesh Babu led the entourage from down south. <keyword id="20590484" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="Indian-cricketers" source="keywords">Indian cricketers</keyword>, including icons Sachin Tendulkar, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya and Suryakumar Yadav, too were present. The couple got engaged in January 2023 and the Ambanis have hosted three lavish pre-wedding parties. First a three-day pre-wedding celebration was held in March in the group's refinery township of Jamnagar in Gujarat that hosted tech billionaires Mark Zuckerberg and Bill Gates, Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner in the 1,200-strong guest list, and had an exclusive performance by Rihanna. David Blaine did magic tricks and the festivities also involved a trip to Ambani's 'animal rescue centre' housing exotic animals. In May, the Ambanis set off on a four-day Mediterranean cruise starting in the Italian city of Palermo, featuring on-deck concerts from the Backstreet Boys, Pitbull, and David Guetta, and a performance by Katy Perry at a masquerade ball at the Chateau de la Croix des Gardes in France. <keyword id="19906967" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="tata-motors" source="keywords">Tata Motors</keyword> plans to commence production of electric vehicles at the Sanand plant, acquired from Ford India, from April this year, as per a top company official. Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd, a unit of Tata Motors, acquired the facility from Ford India for Rs 725.7 crore in January last year. "We are planning to commence electric vehicle production at Sanand with <keyword id="20190169" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="nexon" source="keywords">Nexon</keyword> EV from April," Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles MD Shailesh <keyword id="19912128" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="chandra" source="keywords">Chandra</keyword> told PTI. The company has already commenced production of internal combustion engine-powered versions of the Nexon at the manufacturing plant with an installed capacity of 3 lakh units per annum. It can be further scaled up to 4.2 lakh units per annum. Chandra said the company is also looking to produce upcoming models at the facility. When asked about the company's product pipeline, he said that <keyword id="20290613" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="curvv-ev" source="keywords">Curvv EV</keyword> would be introduced around the second or third quarter of this calendar year. "We are also hoping that by the fag-end of this year, we should also be able to introduce Harrier EV and internal combustion engine (ICE) version of Curvv," Chandra said. On sales outlook for the next fiscal, he noted that the passenger vehicle industry is expected to grow by 5 per cent. "We have few launches planned, so will be targeting to grow better than the industry," Chandra stated. On the Budget wishlist, he stated that extending FAME benefits to personal electric cars would help in accelerating the growth of electrification in the country. Chandra noted that an increase in sales of electric cars was witnessed in states like Maharashtra and Gujarat when they offered incentives to the buyers. "Also, there is a problem of inverted duty structure in EVs that is also something that we have been asking," he noted. About talks on giving some concessions to a US-based EV major, Chandra said: "Our position is very simple that we are not worried about any specific competitor. Any player who is ready to participate in the EV space with upfront investment in localisation or charging infra development is welcome". He further said: "We are not afraid of the competition...we are effectively dealing with the competition, all we seek is a level playing field". Tata Motors to commence EV production at Sanand plant from April

<ul><li><keyword id="6355455" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="indian-railways">Indian Railways</keyword> launched a biometric identification system to ensure ‘guaranteed seats’ in unreserved trains. </li><li>The passengers travelling in unreserved coaches will scan their fingerprints at the biometric system to get the token. </li><li>The Railways acquired four biometric machines as of now for two stations — <keyword id="653763" type="LOCATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="Mumbai-Central-railway-station">Mumbai Central railway station</keyword> and Bandra Terminus.</li></ul>In a good news to train travellers, Indian Railways launched a biometric identification system. It will ensure ‘guaranteed seats’ to general passengers travelling in unreserved train coaches. The initiative <a href="https://www.financialexpress.com/infrastructure/railways/get-seats-easily-in-unreserved-coaches-indian-railways-introduces-new-biometric-system-for-general-passengers/1656964/">launched</a> by Western Railway division’s Mumbai Central railway station and Bandra Terminus aims to create a hassle-free experience for passengers and avoid mayhem at platforms at the time of boarding. <keyword id="102890" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="biometrics">Biometrics</keyword> have been tested first, on Pushpak Express between Mumbai and Lucknow. The Railways has been practicing biometrics for Amravati Express, Jaipur Superfast Express, Karnavati Express , Gujarat Mail, Golden Temple Mail, Paschim Express, <keyword id="1340079" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="Amaravati-Express">Amaravati Express</keyword>, Avadh Express, <keyword id="1301826" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Maharashtra-Sampark-Kranti-Express">Maharashtra Sampark Kranti Express</keyword>. It plans on using the machines for long-distance trains as well. From now on, the passengers travelling in unreserved coaches will scan their fingerprints at the biometric system to get the token. The token-system will ensure that the number of passengers does not surpass the number of available seats. These tokens will be verified by the official staff (<keyword id="54832" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="Railway-Protection-Force">Railway Protection Force</keyword>) on the platforms. Currently, people board trains in a disorderly manner, increasing the scope of accidents. “This machine also captures images of passengers, eliminating the need for video recording of passengers boarding general class coaches,” Financial Express <a href="https://www.financialexpress.com/infrastructure/railways/get-seats-easily-in-unreserved-coaches-indian-railways-introduces-new-biometric-system-for-general-passengers/1656964/">reported</a> citing Ravinder Bhakar, CPRO of <keyword id="66416" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="Western-Railways">Western Railways</keyword>. The move will cut down on the malpractices for the sake of seat reservations. The authorities will also be able to identify thieves by tracking their fingerprints. The Railways acquired four biometric machines as of now. It is in the process of securing eight more for Ahmedabad and Mumbai divisions. “Passengers are happy with the system as it is transparent. It also deters thieves who purchase unreserved tickets as it did not require them to give their personal details,” S R Gandhi, senior divisional security commissioner, Western Railways <a href="https://www.thehindu.com/news/cities/mumbai/western-railway-gets-biometric-token-system/article28703241.ece">told </a>The Hindu.
