At first look, you may get an iPhone-like look, with people even mistaking it for an iPhone during my usage, but this clears up immediately after looking at the pill-shaped camera module. The aluminium frame comes with a glossy finish and is slightly slippery. The aluminium frame also attracts dust fingerprint smudges easily. The display is excellent, with the high refresh rate offering a good experience while gaming and watching content. <h2>Software and performance</h2>The Pixel 9 Pro XL runs on Android 14 out of the box and is promised to get seven years of Android updates and security patches. The software is the highlight of the Pixel lineup and the Pixel 9 Pro XL is no different. The device offers an Android experience as imagined by Google, the operating system maker. As expected, the device comes loaded with AI features in the form of Gemini. To enable users to make the most out of the AI features, Google is offering a one-year premium subscription to Pixel 9 Pro XL users, giving them access to Gemini Advanced, 2TB of Google Drive storage and more. The device comes pre-installed with Pixel Studio, a new GenAI image generation app from Google, allowing users to generate images easily on the go. You also get access to Gemini Live, a live-chat version of Gemini, which allows for voice-enabled interactions. In what might excite most photography enthusiasts like myself, the device also comes with a more powerful Magic Editor, giving access to a ton of new tools. Talking about AI and photography, the new Add Me feature is excellent, especially for those who often end up being the ones to take group pictures and regret not being in them. The new Add Me feature allows you to take a group picture and then hand your phone to your friend and then join the group for another picture, then using AI to blend them into one image to make the perfect group picture. I used this feature during one of my trips and found it to be quite useful. Once you get the hang of it and remember to stand in the correct place, it works quite well. The Pixel 9 Pro XL is powered by the Google Tensor G4 chipset built on Samsung’s 4nm process. It comes with 16GB of RAM and offers up to 512GB of internal storage. If you are hoping for a drastic performance improvement compared to the predecessor, you might be disappointed. It offers an incremental improvement in performance but can easily handle everything that you throw at it. One area the chipset and the device has improved a lot over the Pixel 8 Pro is thermal management and proper connectivity. These were some of my biggest issues with the last-gen devices and Google has made a significant improvement in this aspect. The Pixel 9 Pro XL is powered by a 5,060mAh battery with 37W wired and 23W wireless charging support. The images turned out to be sharp and clear, with adequate details and minimal noise. On the front, the Pixel 9 Pro XL features a 42MP selfie camera. The front camera can easily capture good selfies in normal lighting and low light conditions. <h2>Verdict</h2>The Pixel 9 Pro XL is the best device in the current Pixel lineup and one of the best Android smartphones out there. The device offers an excellent user experience, a premium design and good cameras. It offers good performance and ample storage, ticking off a lot of the boxes. At the same time, the Pixel 9 Pro XL commands a premium price and while enthusiasts may like the stock Android experience, the lack of customisation may not be everyone’s cup of tea. If you are looking for a stock Android experience with powerful hardware and are willing to pay a premium, the Pixel 9 Pro XL is an excellent option. The agency's zonal office here raided at least six premises in Leh town of Ladakh, Jammu in J-K and Sonipat in Haryana in the case against A R Mir and others. It is alleged that 2,508 investors deposited more than Rs 7.34 crore in a fake cryptocurrency business in the name of "<keyword id="22638371" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="Emollient-Coin-Limited" source="keywords" meta.keywordsubtype="org" meta.entityname="Emollient Coin Limited" meta.hostid="261" meta.entityid="Emollient Coin Limited">Emollient Coin Limited</keyword>". They, however, did not get any returns or currency back, and these funds were laundered by the business' promoters to purchase land assets in Jammu. The money laundering case stems from a March 2020 FIR registered in Leh and some other complaints filed in the Union Territory (UT) of Jammu and Kashmir (J-K) against Mir and Ajay Kumar Choudhary. Police in Leh in their FIR stated that an inquiry was conducted by a committee formed by the local district magistrate against Mir and his agents who were running the "fake" cryptocurrency business (Emollient Coin Limited) from a office located at the Anjuman Moin-Ul-complex, opposite SNM Hospital, in Leh. The committee sealed this office during inquiry on charges of "cheating many innocent individuals by assuring them to double their investment", according to the FIR. The accused lured people of the UT of Ladakh and some other places to purchase "Emollient Coin" using cash or transferring money into bank accounts, according to Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials. The depositors were also duped in the name of "Bitcoins" with the assurance of returns up to 40 per cent with a lock-in period of 10 months, the probe agency said. Investors were dished out a commission of up to seven per cent of the investment made by the people on their reference in the business, thereby forming a multi-level marketing chain, the ED found. A total of 2,508 people invested Rs 7,34,36,267 in the investment plan offered by Mir and the company (Emollient) floated by him that was incorporated in September 2017 and had its registered office in London. A man, Henry Maxwell, living in the UK capital, was its director. The company had two promoters in India -- Naresh Gullia and Channi Singh. The company was "deliberately" dissolved in March 2019, and Mir along with Choudhary launched a real estate business and acquired lands in Jammu from the funds generated by the fake cryptocurrency trade, according to the ED. Meet the enigmatic manager who oversees Larry Page's Google fortune

I was hired as an analyst and gradually worked my way up to senior strategy and operations manager before quitting in late 2020.While at Google, I interviewed several potential new hires and ranked them based on <a target="_blank" class="" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/google-googleyness-hiring-training-guide-change-2019-10">"Googleyness."</a> Here's what that means to me and how you can bring it to your interview.<h2 id="89566fd1-d898-4b73-b6e4-3ee71a0c42ab">I was trained to grade candidates on four attributes</h2>About two years into my time at Google, <a target="_blank" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/ex-google-manager-crafted-master-plan-to-get-promoted-quickly-2024-10">I was promoted</a> to strategy and operations manager and underwent interview training to interview new hires. I attended asynchronous and synchronous sessions with a member of the recruiting team to discuss best practices. Then, I completed an online training module that covered the grading scale.I remember Google having four attributes that candidates were graded on: general cognitive ability, leadership, role-related knowledge, and Googleyness.<h2 id="c0e02b59-8298-4966-a1af-3ac81f59fc74">I ranked candidates on Googleyness</h2>Googleyness is not an objective, quantifiable term, but here's what it means to me based on what I gleaned from interview training. Googleyness captures the broad range of soft skills needed to align with your coworkers, such as dependability, helpfulness, and willingness to go above and beyond.But if there's one particular quality that separates Googleyness from simply having <a target="_blank" class="" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/soft-skills-leaders-need-for-success-2016-4">soft skills</a>, it's one's ability to be resourceful and work across the company.Because Google is such a large company, I feel like you rarely need to look outside it for an answer. if you need to access research or data points, there's a high likelihood that someone at Google has done it or thought about it. It's your job to reach out to them, connect with them, and talk to them. I don't know if this is still the case, but employees had access to an internal search engine that provides access to everything other employees have worked on. It was very easy to find data or the teams you need to talk to, even if you've never worked with them.I've heard anecdotally that knowledge at some other large companies comes mostly from internal team collaboration. However, in my experience, Google encourages a culture of cross-company collaboration. Sharing anecdotes that prove your teamwork and resourcefulness is a great way to prove your Googleyness.<h2 id="1614a35f-81ad-4d36-a200-f80b9ab18d65">Here's what you can learn from the Googliest person I interviewed</h2>A candidate was <a target="_blank" class="" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/how-prepare-job-interview-applicant-questions-google-recruiter-2023-11">interviewing for a role on my team</a> when I asked them the very normal question of why they wanted to work at Google. Nearly every other time I asked an interviewee that question, they mentioned the impact, scale, or some other <a target="_blank" class="" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/list-the-biggest-work-trends-buzzwords-of-the-year-2023-2">corporate buzzword</a>. This person took a different approach.They told me they wanted to work at Google because, without Google, they wouldn't be here today. They explained they came from an area where most students from their high school didn't graduate, let alone go to college. But it was because of Google this person figured out how to apply for, and later attend college.Their answer stuck out to me because it spoke directly to their resourcefulness. I figured if that person could figure out how to apply to college without any guidance or model for success, they'd be extremely resourceful and willing to go beyond the status quo in the workplace. We gave them a <a target="_blank" class="" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/why-youre-not-getting-hired-job-interview-resume-advice-tips-2024-8">job offer,</a> and they are still the greatest interviewee I've ever had.Many candidates focus too heavily on proving technical, role-related skills but neglect preparation for <a target="_blank" class="" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/how-to-ace-the-interview-2012-5">personal questions</a>. Remember, Googleyness is largely proven through personality.
