The <keyword id="94534" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="indian-media">Indian media</keyword> and <keyword id="4578" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="entertainment">entertainment</keyword> (M&amp;E) sector is expected to grow by 25 per cent in 2021 and is expected to reach ₹1.73 lakh crore ($23.7 billion), according to a FICCI-EY report.<br /><br />Titled 'Playing by new rules', the report said that with its current trajectory, the <keyword id="2345885" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="ME-sector">M&amp;E sector</keyword> in India is expected to reach ₹2.23 lakh crore ($30.6 billion) by 2023 at a CAGR of 17 per cent.<br /><br />In 2020 while the television continued to remain the largest segment, <keyword id="124571" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="digital-media">digital media</keyword> has overtaken print, and <keyword id="6422069" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="online-gaming">online gaming</keyword> has overtaken a disrupted filmed entertainment segment. The Indian media and entertainment sector has de-grown by 24 per cent to ₹1.38 trillion ($19 billion) in 2020.<br /><br />Digital media and online gaming were the only segments that grew in 2020 adding an aggregate of ₹2,600 crore. Other segments have de-grown by an aggregate of ₹46,700 billion.<br /><br />Dilip Chenoy, Secretary General FICCI, said that though the media and entertainment sector has been largely impacted by the pandemic, the positive news is that the digital subscription has grown by 49 per cent and the online gaming industry has grown by 18 percent. Indian media & entertainment industry may grow by 25% in 2021, says FICCI report

His homecoming however was an elaborate celebration filled with politicians, prominent personalities, citizens, friends, and family congratulating him on winning the bronze in Hearthstone, the esports demonstration event at the Asian Games 2018, becoming India’s first esports medallist at the global tournament.<br /><br />Cut to 2021, the gaming industry cheered for yet another win as esports would finally debut as an official medal sport at the 19th Asian Games 2022, a landmark event in the history of the gaming industry. Probably on the path to being recognized at the <keyword id="6360967" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="olympics" source="Orion">Olympics</keyword> as well, the category has witnessed a massive growth over a short span of time. Even though a nascent industry, it is already pulling in the big bucks and contributing to India’s economy; something which especially came handy at a time when the world was hit with the biggest black swan event of the decade, the Covid-19 pandemic. A recent EY report stated that the esports industry is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 46% to touch ₹11 billion by 2025. With the country's esports industry growing at a faster pace than the global esports industry, India is also concentrating on growing its prize pool which is expected to grow at 66% CAGR to reach ₹1 billion by 2025.<br /><br />One of the major factors for this is that esports is no longer a metro phenomenon. In fact, for the first time in history, rural India has a higher internet penetration than metros with 227 million active internet users, which is 10% higher than urban India at 205 million, as per the <keyword id="128625" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="Internet-and-Mobile-Association-of-India" source="Orion">Internet and Mobile Association of India</keyword> (IAMAI). This internet and mobile penetration helps bring a fragmented market together, making esports a major driving force for the gaming industry in India. Needless to say, it is up to the many stakeholders of the sector to ensure its bright future materialises so let’s promptly deep dive into the potential growth areas and the next steps for each.<br /><br />First up are the players and the companies who make up the core ecosystem. The aforementioned EY report states that India has 1,50,000 players and around 60,000 teams currently and the number is expected to grow at 78% CAGR by 2025 to reach 1.5 million players and 250,000 teams. As esports becomes a viable profession, especially for the youth, brands operating in the space have their job cut out too – 1. make next-gen, compelling games which can engage Indian-origin sensibilities and sensitivities, and 2. motivate players through monetary incentives, recognition, and awards to train and play better. In fact, esports competitions in India and internationally are now broadcasted in many Indian languages such as Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, and Punjabi apart from English to make the sport further accessible and inclusive across the length and breadth of the country. This growth will be further propelled by the increase in prize money, more games, localization, regional adaptation and growth of smartphone, laptop, and broadband infrastructure.<br /><br />Government bodies will also play an instrumental role in taking esports in India to the next level by setting the right framework to promote participation. All of this and more will help people understand the depth behind this form of gaming, and also help sensitize parents about the virtues of esports as a viable career option. After all, it’s not just about those who actively play the sport but also about the trainers, coaches, casters, commentators, and many others who make up the support ecosystem. <ul><li>Digital trials increased significantly during the lockdown period. </li><li>At the same time, 42% respondents in non-metro markets spend more than 20 mins in reading a newspaper compared to 36% in metros.</li></ul>In the face of unprecedented economic disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, non-<keyword id="3195214" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="metro-markets">metro markets</keyword> are likely to recover faster than metro markets, an EY survey finds. <br /><br />The EY report ‘Will non-metro markets propel India's recovery’, reveals a higher percentage of respondents from non-metro markets expect to spend more than before on several categories compared to metro markets indicating that when the lockdown ends, green shoots of recovery would probably sprout faster from the non-metro markets.<br /><br />The survey covered a varied demographic mix of more than 4,000 respondents (2,000 each from metro and non-metro markets) to understand the potential impact of the pandemic from the <keyword id="9628728" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="consumer-sentiment-perspective">consumer sentiment perspective</keyword>. It covered key aspects linked to the current and expected attitudes, behaviors and spending trends of consumers as they adapt to the new reality. <br /><br />Ashish Pherwani, Partner and Media &amp; Entertainment Leader, <keyword id="1919178" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="EY-India">EY India</keyword>, stated, “The COVID-19 pandemic has radically shifted our way of life. However, despite uncertain and challenging conditions, our research shows that non-metros express a higher degree of resiliency and a resolve to bounce back quicker compared to metros. We may see long-term and even permanent changes in consumption patterns”. <br /><br />The survey results reveal that the pandemic and the ensuing social distancing measures put in place have led to fundamental changes in how Indians are consuming media, necessities, luxury products education and travel. <br /><br />Some of the key insights from the survey include:<br /><br /><strong>Health, hygiene and online services will continue to grow<br /></strong><br />While COVID-19 has impacted overall consumption, categories like heath products, household products, hygiene products, vitamins and supplements and online services (gaming, home entertainment, online education, online banking) are expected to benefit.<br /><br /><strong>Non-metro market recovery is excepted to be faster than metro recovery</strong><br /><br />Categories like consumer goods, travel, entertainment, automobiles and white goods are all expected to see increased and faster recovery of demand from non-metro markets post the lockdowns. <br /><br /><strong>Increase in digital adoption</strong><br /><br />Digital trials increased significantly during the lockdown period. However adoption was higher for metros vis-à-vis non-metros. Some of the obstacles stated by non-metro respondents included lack of technological knowledge, absence of smart phones and fewer language interfaces.<br /><br /><strong>Newspapers remain the most trusted medium<br /></strong><br />The impact of coronavirus has unfolded at a dynamic rate, causing a sense of urgency to absorb information, increasing the consumption of news coverage at unprecedented levels. Think <a href="http://uk.businessinsider.com/interview-with-funding-circles-samir-desai-and-sam-hodges-2015-10">peer-to-peer lenders like Funding Circle</a> and <a href="http://uk.businessinsider.com/interview-with-transferwises-taavet-hinrikus-and-kristo-kaarmann-2015-10">online money transfer services like TransferWise</a>.</p><p>But at a Westminister Business Forum event on fintech this week there was an air of self-consciousness among those in the room representing the startups. Many of them felt they had to justify the hype to the more old-school finance types in the room.</p><p>As Tony Craddock, director general of the Emerging Payments Association, put it in his speech: "To what extent are consumers actually adopting this stuff?"</p><p>The problem is that while there's plenty of data on funding, volumes, and startup activity in the sector, there's much less information on the people actually using these services.</p><p>Gulamhuseinwala, the head of fintech at "Big Four" accountant EY, put it this way: "There is an awful lot talked about the fintech space. There are a lot of column inches written about the fintech space. And there's an awful lot that's been invested into the fintech space. We believe something in the order of $12 billion has been invested into the fintech space in the last year, next year it could be circa $15 billion.</p><p>"But I think the big information void we've continually come up against in this space is, is anyone actually using this stuff? There's a lot of activity on the supply side but on the demand side, are these businesses getting traction?"</p><p>Many fintech businesses appear to be doing well but it remains to be seen if they can really deliver on their promise of democratising finance and giving the banks a run for their money. Data from boutique investment bank Liberum suggests that in peer-to-peer lending, for example, is <a href="http://uk.businessinsider.com/banks-really-have-to-fear-smarter-banks-this-startup-ceo-nailed-fintechs-dirty-secret-2015-12">growing thanks to early adopters putting more money onto platforms and institutional money flowing in</a> - not because it's breaking into the mainstream.</p><p>EY is trying to address this "information void" by <a href="http://www.ey.com/GL/en/Industries/Financial-Services/ey-fintech-adoption-index">recently launching a Fintech Adoption Index</a>. The company surveyed 10,000 "digitally active consumers" - people already using digital services like Amazon, say - across Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Singapore, the United Kingdom, and the United States.</p><p>What they found in the <keyword id="6354868" type="COUNTRY" weightage="60" keywordseo="UK">UK</keyword> is that 14.3% of people surveyed already use some type of fintech service, defined as having used a fintech product like online payments or peer-to-peer loans in the last 6 months. That's slightly below the international average of 15.5%.</p><p>Those percentages look small compared to games or social media or messaging, where a solid majority of people are users. The sector appears to be years behind when it comes to adoption, which partially explains the "void."</p><p>But Gulamhuseinwala  is upbeat. "This we felt was actually quite a high number - 1 in 7," Gulamhuseinwala told the crowd on Wednesday. "In cities, urban dwellers are much more likely to be using fintech products. In London we found that a quarter were already using fintech propositions of some sort.</p><p>"Our findings did reinforce something that probably a lot of people in this room already felt, and that is that adoption is highest amongst younger digitally active consumers and higher income digitally active consumers."</p><p>Fintech is a pretty broad church so EY also drilled down a little deeper to figure out what services people are using.</p><p><div class="KonaFilter image-container display-table float_left"><div><div class="image on-image"><p class="source"><span><a href="https://www.gfsi.ey.com/media_files/document/journal/7249_EY_GFSI_Journal_FinTech_SectionOne_AW_WEB.PDF">EY</a></span></p></div><p></p></div></div>Money transfer and payments services came out on top, with 17.6% of those who said they were using fintech pointing to this product. This is one of the hottest areas of investment in the UK, with online international transfer business <a href="http://uk.businessinsider.com/transferwise-58-million-andreessen-horowitz-2015-1">TransferWise reportedly one of the country's few "unicorns."</a></p><p>The second most popular service was savings and investment products - peer-to-peer lending, crowdfunding, online investment advice - at 16.7%. Then there's a big drop-off, with insurance coming in third at 7.2%.</p><p>EY also asked consumers who weren't using fintech if they intended to start using it and roughly 15% said they did. TransferWise this week also release a survey conducted with YouGov that <a href="https://transferwise.com/guides/global-finance/future-of-finance">concluded 25% of Brits will use technology companies for half their banking needs or more by 2020</a>.</p><p>Gulamhuseinwala acknowledged that asking people what they're going to do is "a notoriously difficult question to ask," but added: "We feel that if 1 in 7 consumers are already using fintech products and a further 1 in 7 intend to, that's a really interesting proposition and probably does warrant the attention. EY says there is a massive 'void' in fintech: 'Is anyone actually using this stuff?'

<ul><li><strong>Only 19% of Indian companies have a sufficient budget to have the desired level of cyber security. <br /></strong></li><li><strong>32% organizations believe careless employees are the targets of cyber attacks. <br /></strong></li><li><strong>India has been the target of mass scale data breaches and cyber security attacks.</strong></li></ul>Despite an increase in large-scale cyber attacks, a majority of Indian companies seem unprepared to tackle these challenges, a recent report has warned.<br /><br />One of India’s biggest digitization drive – <a href="https://www.thenewsminute.com/article/india-saw-world-s-largest-online-data-breach-2018-due-lax-cyber-security-wef-95141">Aadhar</a> – became the target of the world’s biggest data breach in the past <a href="https://www.businessinsider.in/here-are-the-most-controversial-data-breaches-of-2018-that-affected-indian-users/articleshow/67148364.cms">year</a>, showing the rising importance of cyber security in India. A World Economic Forum report said that the breach was due to India’s “lax cyber security protocols”.<br /><br />Over the years, India has been a target of mass cyber security attacks like ransomware WannaCry, even then the country’s business organization have not stepped up their game to secure themselves from such attacks. <br /><br />The EY Global Information Security Survey (EY GISS) 2018-19 – India edition released last week said only 19% of Indian companies have a sufficient budget to provide the levels of cybersecurity and resilience as required even though said 70% said they plan to increase the budgets soon.<br /><br />Moreover, the report also said that 32% of Indian organizations see careless/unaware employees as the biggest vulnerability to cyber security risks. <br /><br />It also said that 56% of the organizations consider cyber security as an integral part of their strategy and plans, however there is a shortage of required skills or talent in India to tackle cyber security challenges.<br /><br />Given India’s fast-growing affinity towards technology and its services, it is important that the country’s businesses take more active steps towards cyber security. <br /><br />“As we accelerate towards becoming a trillion-dollar digital economy, building the right framework for cyber resilience and security is critical for the country. A majority of Indian corporates are unprepared for cyber security challenges: Report

<p class="full"></p><div class="KonaFilter image-container display-table"><div><div class="image on-image"></div><p></p></div></div><p>Two high school girls basketball teams from Tennessee were kicked out of the state's district playoffs after a report from the game's referee said both schools "played to lose the game," <a href="http://www.tennessean.com/story/sports/high-school/2015/02/23/riverdale-smyrna-girls-basketball-teams-removed-from-postseason/23889277/">according to Tom Kreager of The Tennessean</a>.</p><p>According to the report, both teams, Riverdale and Smyrna, were going to advance to the next round of the playoffs no matter what because of the way the tournament was structured. The winner would have faced the defending state and national champions Blackman in the next round. The loser would have faced a lesser opponent in the next round and faced an easier path to the district finals.</p><p>On paper, each team had an incentive to lose and avoid Blackman.</p><p>According to the report filed by the referee, one team missed 12 of their 16 free throws "intentionally."</p><p>Here is video <a href="http://deadspin.com/girls-hs-basketball-teams-booted-from-postseason-for-pl-1687623093?utm_campaign=socialflow_deadspin_twitter&amp;utm_source=deadspin_twitter&amp;utm_medium=socialflow">via Deadspin</a> that appears to show a player intentionally missing a free throw.</p><div><div></div></div><p class="embed-spacer"></p><p>The referee said the other team refused to advance the ball past half-court looking for a 10-second violation and at another time committed an over-and-back violation "intentionally."</p><p>Another video appears to confirm the intentional over-and-back violation.</p><div><div></div></div><p class="embed-spacer"></p><p>Other incidents according to the game's referee included a player standing in the lane and begging for a three-second violation and a player intentionally shooting at the wrong basket, only to be stopped because of a 10-second violation.</p><p>After the latter incident, the officials stopped the game and spoke with both coaches about making a mockery of the game.</p><p>Later in the game, with Smyrna holding a 30-25 lead with just four minutes remaining, a state athletics administrator noticed that Smyrna's coach did not have his starters in the game, was not paying attention to the game, and according to a state official "acted like he really didn't care about what went on in the game."</p><p>At that point a state official confronted the Smyrna coach about the situation. <strong>San Francisco,</strong> As <keyword id="6358540" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="sony">Sony</keyword> and Microsoft launched their <keyword id="10501340" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="new-gaming-consoles">new gaming consoles</keyword>, the <keyword id="2666841" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Overall-sales">overall sales</keyword> of <keyword id="25195" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="video-games">video games</keyword> surged to a record $6.9 billion for the month of November in the US, according to a new report.<br /><br />The momentum was achieved with a record $1.4 billion spent on new hardware (up 58% from last year) mostly spent on Sony PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S.<br /><br />The strong month brought year-to-date hardware sales just short of $4 billion, up 34% from this point last year.<br /><br />Overall sales rose 35% year-over-year to a record November, according to data provided by global market research company NPD Group.<br /><br />PlayStation 5 was the leader in sales. Meanwhile, the lower-priced Nintendo Switch sold the most units in November, bringing its streak there to 24 straight months.<br /><br />In October, the Nintendo Switch became the best selling console for 23 straight months in the US.<br /><br />To date, the Switch has sold more than 22.5 million units in the US, and Nintendo revealed this month that more than 68 million units have been sold globally.<br /><br />The full-game chart was topped by the year's biggest launch, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. New PlayStation5 and Xbox drive record $6.9billion sales for video games in November

<p></p><div class="KonaFilter image-container display-table float_right click-to-enlarge"><div><div class="image on-image"><a title_source="REUTERS/Tyrone Siu" title_caption="" class="zoomin" href="https://static-ssl.businessinsider.com/image/560ef640bd86ef16008bf084-960/rtxzf5z.jpg"><span class="sprites click-to-enlarge-icon" title="Click to enlarge"></span></a><p class="source"><span>REUTERS/Tyrone Siu</span></p></div><p></p></div></div><p class="p1">Returning to work while continuing to breastfeed is a challenge for many new moms - especially considering the horror <a href="http://kuow.org/post/slideshow-lactation-rooms-around-seattle-and-beyond">stories we hear about inadequate lactation rooms</a> and employers that <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/woman-alleges-her-fight-to-breastfeed-at-work-got-her-fired-2013-9">resist providing the breaks needed to pump, as required by law</a>.</p><p class="p1">But a select few employers are taking another approach&#xa0;and championing an unusual perk that could make the burden of pumping at work much easier for people who need it.</p><p class="p1">Going on a business trip that takes you thousands of miles away from your family makes the task of providing fresh breast milk for a new child exponentially more difficult for breastfeeding moms.</p><p class="p1">As Twitter's VP of diversity and inclusion, Janet Van Huysse, explained to Business Insider, difficulties for traveling new moms include having to leave a new baby at home, figuring out how to continue pumping between meetings, and having to deal with the logistics of going through TSA checkpoints with breastmilk or figuring out how to ship breastmilk home.</p><p class="p1">Twitter hopes to ease the transition back to work by offering free breastmilk delivery for nursing mothers on business trips through <a href="http://fedexcoldshipping.fedex.com/">FedEx's cold shipping program</a>.</p><p class="p1">Van Huysse says the company first announced the perk as a pilot program to 1,500 salespeople during its annual global sales conference at headquarters in July. Nine mothers signed up at the conference for the service, and the idea was so well-received - some mothers called it "game-changing," Van Huysse says - Twitter now offers the service to all its global employees.</p><p class="p1">"It wasn't one of those benefits where we were looking at what kind of reach it would have," she says. She says that the program is such a no brainer she can't believe more companies aren't offering it yet.<p class="p1">Tax and professional services firm EY led the charge back in 2007, when it started providing a breast milk shipping benefit with <a href="https://limerickinc.com">Limerick</a>, their lactation consultants. EY provides moms with a travel kit that includes an insulated cooler with ice packs, baby bottles to store the breast milk, and a shipping box that the cooler fits snugly into, and the firm pays to have the breast milk express-shipped home, Maryella Gockel, EY Americas flexibility strategy leader, tells Business Insider.</p><p class="p1">According to Limerick's data, EY will have provided 600 breast milk travel kits to 100 moms in the US this year. EY also provides a hospital-grade breast pump to each new mother at the firm and assigns a case manager, who is a registered nurse and certified lactation consultant (CLC), to consult with before returning to work.</p><p class="p1">"As part of EY's flexible and inclusive culture, we are committed to providing our women with the tools and resources they need to be highly effective in their <keyword id="6354910" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="100" keywordseo="Careers">careers</keyword>, while at the same time helping them meet their personal goals," Gockel says. "New moms who continue to nurse are faced with their share of challenges returning to work. Offering a workplace lactation program, including breast milk shipping for moms, can alleviate some of the stress of returning to work after childbirth."</p><p class="p1">Other companies like <a href="http://fortune.com/2015/08/26/accenture-ship-breast-milk/">Accenture</a>, <a href="http://fortune.com/2015/07/13/ibm-ship-employee-breast-milk/">IBM</a>, and Zillow have followed EY's lead by offering similar programs to employees.</p><p class="p1">"We implemented free breastmilk shipping after one of our employees, who was traveling for work, had trouble getting through airport security with the milk she had pumped during her trip," Katie Curnutte, Zillow Group's vice president of communications and public affairs tells Business Insider. "Coming back to work as a new parent is challenging enough, and we wanted to do everything possible to support our employees and their families, and take away some of that stress."</p><p class="p1">Sadly, these programs are a stark contrast to the conditions some breastfeeding moms have reported facing upon their return to work at other companies.</p><p><div></div></p><p class="p1"><span class="s1"><a href="http://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/USCODE-2011-title29/pdf/USCODE-2011-title29-chap8-sec207.pdf">According to the Affordable Care Act</a> passed in March 2010, an employer with 50 or more employees must provide reasonable break time for an employee to provide&#xa0;breast milk for her nursing child for one year after the child's birth each time she needs to, and break time need not be compensated. Also, the employer must provide a place, other than a bathroom, for the employee to breastfeed.&#xa0;</span></p><p class="p1"><span class="s1">This isn't always the case.</span></p><p class="embed-spacer"><span class="s1">Katrina Alcorn, a Web consultant in Oakland, California, <a href="http://www.bloomberg.com/bw/articles/2013-02-07/working-moms-need-more-than-subsidized-breast-pumps">told Bloomberg</a> her company didn't have a lactation room, so she sat in a toilet stall to pump and stored her breast milk in the office fridge. "Once, a co-worker sent an e-mail to the entire 40-person office complaining about the 'bodily fluids' in the refrigerator," she says. "It was tempting to give up breast feeding altogether."</span></p><p class="p1"><span class="s1">Natasha Long, who worked at a factory in Booneville, Mississippi, was back to work three weeks after having her third child, Jayden, in 2012. As she told investigative journalist Sharon Lerner, her factory didn't have a lactation room, so she would run to her truck during breaks to pump breast milk. "She sat in the cab, worried that someone might see her, and pumped, while tears rolled down her face and over the plastic suction cups attached to her breasts," <a href="http://inthesetimes.com/article/18151/the-real-war-on-families">Lerner wrote of Long's experience.</a></span></p><p class="p1"><span class="s1">And last year, <a href="http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/07/24/breastfeeding-pumping-at-work_n_5610554.html">the Huffington Post's Dave Jamieson</a> investigated 105 cases filed&#xa0;with the US Labor Department as part of a Freedom of Information Act request for investigations into nursing-mother complaints. Only closed cases between March 2010 and late 2013 were reviewed.</span></p><p class="p1"><span class="s1">As Jamieson reported, The Labor Department's cases shared some clear patterns: many women were forced to pump&#xa0;in the bathroom at work, customers or colleagues often walked in on women relegated to common areas when their breasts were exposed, raising an issue often created tension with supervisors, women said&#xa0;they weren't allowed enough time to pump, and when they were allowed to take a break, it was only when they weren't busy.</span></p><p class="p1"><span class="s1">Gina Ciagne, a certified lactation counselor and global vice president of healthcare relations at <a href="https://www.lansinoh.com/about">Lansinoh</a>,&#xa0;says that a lot of this&#xa0;oversight isn't necessarily intentional, and employers&#xa0;often aren't aware of a breastfeeding mother's need to pump privately and consistently until it's an issue. Consequently, the burden often falls to mothers to figure it out. "That's just not fair," she says.</span></p><p class="p1"><span class="s1">"Can you imagine hiring someone and saying, 'Yea, OK, you're going to have a family? Great. You're actually going to have to go eat in the bathroom. That's where we eat our lunch.' That's literally what it's like, because she's preparing her baby's food," Ciagne&#xa0;says.</span></p><p class="p1"><span class="s1">According to Ciagne, babies typically feed every two to three hours, and so a mother needs to pump accordingly. It takes up to a half-hour each time a woman pumps, she says. Breastfeeding, she explains, is a supply-and-demand operation; the body needs regular stimulation to keep up with the needed output, and when a mother misses a feeding, her body receives the message that it can produce less milk. </span></p><p class="p1"><span class="s1">"It's a labor of love, with more focus on the labor part," she jokes.</span></p><p class="p1"><span class="s1"><div class="KonaFilter image-container display-table click-to-enlarge"><div><div class="image on-image"><a title_source="Wikimedia Commons" title_caption="Would you eat your lunch here?" class="zoomin" href="https://static-ssl.businessinsider.com/image/560f0be1bd86ef19008befd2-960/11_innelan_care_home_(3981398623).jpg"><span class="sprites click-to-enlarge-icon" title="Click to enlarge"></span></a><p class="source"><span>Wikimedia Commons</span></p><p class="caption">Would you eat your lunch here?</p></div><p></p></div></div>Both mothers and children benefit from breast milk, <a href="http://www.ncsl.org/research/health/breastfeeding-state-laws.aspx">according to the National Conference of State Legislatures</a>. </span></p><p class="p1"><span class="s1">Breast milk contains antibodies that protect infants from bacteria and viruses, which results in&#xa0;fewer ear, respiratory, urinary tract infections, and, not surprisingly, fewer health care visits, prescriptions, and hospitalizations.</span></p><p class="p2"><span class="s1"></span><span class="s1">Breastfeeding also helps mothers&#xa0;return to pre-pregnancy weight earlier and reduces the&#xa0;risk of pre-menopausal breast cancer and osteoporosis. </span></p><p class="p2"><span class="s1">According to <a href="http://www.cdc.gov/breastfeeding/pdf/2013breastfeedingreportcard.pdf">the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention</a>, about&#xa0;77% of mothers start breastfeeding immediately after birth, but only about 16% of those moms are breastfeeding exclusively six months later. A woman's return to work overwhelmingly plays a role in this decrease.</span></p><p class="p2"><span class="s1"></span>"Mom needs to figure out how to pump, she needs to figure out her schedule, she and her partner need to figure out the childcare, and all of that stuff is individually a little overwhelming, but when you put it all together it really will challenge your reality and make you realize that you have a lot to juggle and figure out,"&#xa0;<span>Ciagne says.</span></p><p class="p2">"Breastfeeding moms have that additional layer of learning how to pump, pumping, leaving enough of that milk behind, and reconnecting with that baby when they get back from&#xa0;work," she says.</p><p class="p2">Ciagne says it's&#xa0;about time employers caught up and really understood that valuing families and supporting women&#xa0;has societal, health, and economic benefits. Stepping up the benefits and&#xa0;figuring out the logistics to make life easier for new moms just makes sense, she says.</p><p class="p2">"I think it's amazing that some companies are understanding that, finally," she says.</p>

No matter how much the telecom operators boast of their high speed mobile internet, a Delhi based startup might be the game changer in the data ambit. Speed Fetch, which has tied up with WiFi networks provider Ozone Networks, is providing free downloadable video content at speeds up to 60 Mbps. As per a news report by The Economic Times, this is quite high compared to what any 3G or 4G network can offer.<br />

Just as an instance, a 100 MB video needs 9 minutes to be downloaded in 3G network. And with Speed Fetch, it takes barely 30 seconds.<br />
The ET reports, while the company promises speeds up to 60 Mbps in ideal situations, executives said actual speeds can vary between 15 and 30 Mbps depending on the customer's location, signal strength at that location and the number of people using WiFi network at that time. <br />
"Speed and free content sSpeed Fetch apart," founder Dipank Sharma, who launched the app two months ago, has told the financial daily. "It works through micro-caching where content resides on a Speed Fetch box, in a WiFi hotspot location, which allows for faster downloads. Since the download is via WiFi, the content is free of charge," said Sharma, who has invested $2 million in the startup till date. <br />

Caching refers to storing web files for quick reuse later. "These speeds are real, but the challenge is the backhaul - fibre in the ground and backbone network - which requires a lot of capital investment (from WiFi provider)," said Prashant Singhal, global telecom practice head at consulting firm EY. <br />

Ozone's WiFi zones allow users to download the content provided by Speed Fetch for free for a day regardless of the usage. However, consumers will have to pick up hourly, daily or weekly data usage packs after the first 20 minutes, in case they want to use the internet. Sharma is in talks with investors to raise an undisclosed amount of funds by diluting 26% to 49% equity, confirms the ET report.<br />

The company plans to use the funds to expand operations to 20,000 locations with access to 50 million consumers. In the short term, it plans to expand operations to 5,000 locations across India by the year end and reach a customer base of two million. <br />

The "Star Wars" films&#xa0;have been shrouded in secrecy with alternate working titles. "Episode VII"&#xa0;was <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/star-wars-episode-vii-foodles-2013-8">reportedly known as Foodles</a>, a brand of healthy Disney snacks.</p><p>Carrie Fisher revealed <a href="http://comicbook.com/2016/02/20/star-wars-episode-viii-working-title-confirmed-as-space-bear/">in a February 2016 tweet that "Space Bear"</a> was the working title for this year's upcoming "Star Wars: Episode VIII."</p><p>"Red Cup" is pretty brilliant and we expect the Han Solo spin-off movie to be quirky and chock-full of references to the vast "Star Wars" universe with the comedy duo of Miller and Phil Lord ("The LEGO Movie," "21 Jump Street") on board directing.</p><p>Alden Ehrenreich <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/star-wars-han-solo-spinoff-alden-ehrenreich-2016-5?_ga=1.27378620.1243864498.1481821408">will star as Solo</a> while <a href="http://www.thisisinsider.com/donald-glover-cast-as-a-lando-calrissian-in-the-han-solo-star-wars-movie-2016-10">Donald Glover ("Atlanta") will play a young Lando Calrissian</a>.
