Taiwanese tech giant ASUS on Wednesday launched its high-end business-class laptop ExpertBook B5 Flip OLED (B5302) in India at a starting price of Rs 1,39,000. The laptop is 360 degrees convertible in form and features a Full-HD Anti-glare HDR OLED touch display panel, for the ultimate in viewing with professional colour and clarity. The new ExpertBook B5 Flip OLED (B5302) laptop is built for business success in style, with a precision-crafted and minimalist chassis that pushes the limits of lightness with magnesium aluminium premium construction, the company claims. The machine comes with up to 11th Gen Intel Core i7 processor with Iris Xe graphics and Thunderbolt 4, Support for Dual M.2 SSDs with RAID functionalities. The laptop combines "military standard" (MIL-STD-810G) durability, IP53 certification, and a unique Aquafan designed to repel water and drops from all angles, Acer said, adding that the laptop is designed to be used in wet weather conditions. The device is ideal for users who interchange between several worksites such as architects, project supervisors, field researchers, and scientists, wild and nature photographers, and anyone who works in a harsher environment, the company said. "Our new line Enduro N3 laptop is designed to be used outdoors and can survive drops, extreme temperatures, and water exposure while remaining portable enough to carry it around weighing a mere 1.9 kg," Sudhir Goel, Chief Business Officer, Acer India, said in a statement. In the past two years 2020 and 2021 we saw a very huge year-over-year growth – between 40-60% – that has now fallen to almost single digits,” Su said, stating that he is awaiting numbers from IDC. The tablet is well optimized, and the performance is smooth in most cases. Using it is a breeze for some of the most common tasks, like watching videos, browsing the internet, reading, and checking email. The battery also lasts for a long time – in my testing, it lasted for nearly three days before I had to reach for the charger. This will vary based on usage, but the battery life is impressive nevertheless. Should you buy the Galaxy Tab A7? The Galaxy Tab A7 is an easy recommendation if all you need is a device to consume video content, attend video calls or online classes. It’s also a great option for browsing the internet on a bigger display. The battery life is excellent and coupled with a great price, the Galaxy Tab A7 is an excellent option in the budget segment. However, if you are a creative person or multitask a lot, you will want to consider other options like the Galaxy Tab S7 series or the Apple iPad lineup. Oppo’s custom skin adds plenty of features and customization options. You can also enable some experimental features thanks to the built-in Oppo Labs app. Features like a double-tap, the always-on display, and smart sidebar are very useful. The in-display fingerprint sensor is also fairly fast and accurate. It also fares moderately well in games, with graphics and smoothness being mostly to the mark. It doesn’t overheat either, but it does get a little warm during extended gaming, which is to be expected from any phone. The F17 Pro is powered by a 4,010mAh battery, which promises to last an entire day of usage. In my experience, it lasted me a day with enough juice left for another morning.
