New Delhi, <keyword id="6358032" type="DOMAIN" weightage="20" keywordseo="SpiceJet">SpiceJet</keyword> said on Thursday it has signed an agreement with the <keyword id="6380521" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="gmr">GMR</keyword> Hyderabad Air Cargo (<keyword id="5977840" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="GHAC">GHAC</keyword>) to ensure seamless delivery of the coronavirus vaccine from the Hyderabad airport to domestic and <keyword id="6409094" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="international-markets">international markets</keyword>. Hyderabad and its surrounding districts have a number of pharmaceutical companies. The Hyderabad airport, which is managed and operated by the GMR group, is expected to be a key hub in transportation of COVID-19 vaccine domestically and globally. In a <keyword id="653793" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="press-release">press release</keyword>, SpiceJet said as part of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), the GHAC will provide required space at the Hyderabad airport "on priority" for the airline's vaccine shipments and it will also train the airline's personnel. "SpiceJet on its part will keep a dedicated fleet of freighters, including wide-body aircraft, at the Hyderabad airport to handle all domestic and international consignments," the release added. As part of this MoU, SpiceXpress - the cargo arm of SpiceJet - envisions to provide efficient, speedy and reliable solutions for vaccine delivery, while also creating a sustainable cold chain network, according to the release. "SpiceXpress aims to provide the first mile pick up and last mile delivery to carry COVID-19 vaccines across the domestic and international markets in a temperature-controlled environment," it added. The drive -- held for the 38th batch of <keyword id="473399" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="post-graduate-programme-in-management" source="Orion">Post Graduate Programme in Management</keyword> and 19th batch of PG Programme in Food and Agri-Business Management -- saw 566 students getting a total of 570 offers. This is the first time the institute has secured 100 per cent placement for a batch this big in its 38-year history. According to a press release issued by IIM-L, the highest package offered during the drive was ₹ 3.5 lakh per month. The average and median stipends offered to students were ₹1.41 lakh per month and ₹ 1.5 lakh per month, respectively. This is also the highest-ever in IIM-L's history, added the communique. Students secured offers in varied fields -- including consulting, finance, general management, IT &amp; analytics, sales and marketing, operations and retail e-commerce -- from top recruiters across the globe. During the drive, several major companies came to hire IIM-L students for the first time. IIM-L scores 100% placement

New Delhi, <keyword id="6358032" type="DOMAIN" weightage="20" keywordseo="SpiceJet">SpiceJet</keyword> has signed an agreement with Belgium's <keyword id="505425" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Brussels-airport">Brussels Airport</keyword> for providing seamless transportation of <keyword id="9078985" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Covid-19-Vaccines">COVID-19 vaccines</keyword>, according to an official statement issued on Tuesday. As a part of the Memorandum of Understanding (<keyword id="6368586" type="LOCATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="MoU">MoU</keyword>), Brussels Airport would provide assistance to SpiceJet with regards to slots, networking contracts etc. for speedy delivery of vaccines, it noted. "The airline's cargo arm, SpiceXpress, envisions to provide rapid and secure transportation of COVID-19 vaccine from and to Europe and beyond with proper temperature-controlled mechanism under the MoU," the SpiceJet's statement said. As part of this association, Brussels Airport will be SpiceJet's first flight point for Europe, it mentioned. As strategic partners, both SpiceJet and Brussels Airport Company NV will jointly work with the government, pharma companies and forwarders to ensure a reliable ecosystem for vaccine delivery in a temperature-controlled environment, it said. India started its vaccine movement from Tuesday morning when SpiceJet flight SG8937 flight transported the first consignment of COVID-19 vaccine from Pune to Delhi. SpiceJet ties up with Brussels Airport for transportation of COVID vaccines to Europe

Jaipur, Apr 25 () A 40-year-old woman was allegedly raped by three men in a government school premises where she had stayed during lockdown in Rajasthan's Sawai Madhopur district, police said on Saturday. The incident took place on Thursday night. All three accused have been arrested and produced before a court, a police official said. The woman, in her statement, said she has been stuck for a month in Sawai Madhopur due to the ongoing lockdown. She decided to walk down to her residence in Jaipur. On Thursday night, she stayed at a government school premises in Batod Police Station area to take rest, but was allegedly raped by three men, the official said. A case has been registered against the accused on the basis of a complaint lodged by the woman on Friday. The accused, identified as Rishikesh Meena, Lakhan Regar and Kamal Kharwal, have been arrested and produced before a court, DSP Parth Sharma said. He said medical examination of the woman was conducted and her statement recorded. Police said the woman's son is lodged in Dausa jail. She was staying alone at a rented accommodation in Jaipur, they said. AG CK
