<ul><li>The new feature will also come on MacBooks.</li><li><keyword id="6354427" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="apple" source="Orion">Apple</keyword> held its WWDC 2022 keynote in early June in which it announced iOS 16 features.</li><li>This new feature will offer a seamless signing-in experience.</li></ul>Tech giant Apple's all-new operating system iOS 16 has introduced support for bypassing CAPTCHAs in supported apps and websites for users that can be found in the Settings app. When enabled, Apple says iCloud will automatically and privately verify your device and Apple ID account in the background, eliminating the need for apps and websites to present you with a <keyword id="1606993" type="General" weightage="100" keywordseo="captcha" source="Orion">CAPTCHA</keyword> verification prompt, reports MacRumors. Apple recently shared a video with technical details about how the feature works, but simply put, Apple's system verifies that the device and Apple ID account are in good standing and presents what is called a Private Access Token to the app or website. This new system will offer a better user experience for tasks such as signing into or creating an account, with improved user privacy and accessibility compared to CAPTCHA, the report said. Cloudflare and Fastly have already announced support for Private Access Tokens, meaning that the ability to bypass CAPTCHAs could be coming to millions of apps and websites powered by those platforms, and the feature will roll out more widely over time. In the first betas of iOS 16 and iPadOS 16, Automatic Verification is enabled by default. Apple said the feature is also supported on macOS Ventura. All of the software updates are currently in beta and will be released later this year, the report said. This iOS 16 feature will help users to bypass CAPTCHA verification

The apex body sought an explanation from the ministry on how PUBG is available to be used by minors. This letter comes after the news that a 16-year-old boy from Lucknow shot dead his mother allegedly for trying to prevent him from playing the online video game PUBG, according to police. In 2019, a 15-year-old boy from Bhiwandi in the Thane district of Maharashtra allegedly killed his elder brother for scolding him over playing PUBG Mobile on his phone. Back in 2020, the Union government banned 118 Chinese applications including PUBG Mobile and its other version PUBG Lite. The government said these apps were prejudicial to the sovereignty and integrity of India. The chief of the child rights body, Priyanka Kanoongo wrote a letter to the Union Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology in which she asked, "Why is the game available despite having been legally blocked in the country?" Further, she also added, “It is requested that the commission may be informed regarding action taken in such incidents and be provided with a list of such games which are being used by minors, along with their regulating bodies and regulating mechanism, within 10 days of receipt of this letter.” The NCPCR has also written a second letter to the Indian Olympic Association (IOA), asking them to explain the current status of PUBG.
