Mughal-E-Azam is one of the most iconic films of <keyword id="143" type="CITY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Bollywood">Bollywood</keyword>, and the most famous song that people still remember from this 1960 movie is Jab Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya. However, when it comes to applying this song in portraying fearless homosexual relationships in Bollywood, Bollywood has sadly remained afraid to ‘come out of the closet’. 
 
We have a look at how Bollywood has portrayed homosexuals in the past 20 years, be it a brilliant portrayal or a mockery of such sensitive issue.

In a country where 800 movies are made in a year, it’s difficult to remember each and every film that releases. 
 
But sometimes, we do come across some mind blowing and thought provoking storylines, which remain with us for a long time. Such is the power of storytelling that it makes some stories a part of our lives. 
 
However, while revisiting some of the famous Hindi movies, we realized their script writers conveniently chose to forget that we are living in the Facebook and Twitter age. 
 
Here we list out 4 of them. 
 
1. <keyword id="6373971" type="ENTERTAINMENT" weightage="100" keywordseo="3-idiots">3 Idiots</keyword> 
The crux of the story and the emotion that appealed to all of us was that two friends, Raju (Sharman Joshi) and Farhan (R. Madhavan), could not find their best friend Rancho (Aamir Khan) for over 5 years, because they didn’t have his address and contact details. However, had the movie released in today’s time when everything goes on internet, they could have easily searched for Ranchhod Das Chanchad and unearthed the secret that lay behind the walls of that Simla mansion. Also, don’t you think that the name of Phunsukh Wangdu, a genius who has patented so many designs, would have found its way to the Facebook news feeds of either Raju Rastogi or Farhan Qureshi? 
 
2. <keyword id="2196546" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Raja-Natwarlal">Raja Natwarlal</keyword> 
Although this movie was released in 2014, the audience was actually baffled by the ease with which Raja (Emraan Hashmi) befooled Varda Yadav (Kay Kay Menon). Wouldn’t a multimillionaire business tycoon look up for website of the cricket authority before believing a virtually non-existent agent and handing over a cheque of Rs 100 crore? While Raja could have tampered with Google for the first page of the search results, we are sure that five minutes of Google search would have been enough for Yadav to figure out the con. 
 
3. Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein 
A favourite of many, this romantic movie rules many hearts, even after 14 years of its release. The story shows how Maddy (R.Madhavan) makes his love interest Reena (Dia Mirza) believe that he is Rajiv Samra, the man that she has been betrothed to since childhood. But today we are sure that Reena would have done a quick search for the social profiles of Rajiv Samra, only to find the images of Saif Ali Khan giving his coy smile. 
 
4. <keyword id="15117" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="dostana">Dostana</keyword> 
We loved the laughter ride that this movie took us on, but had Neha (Priyanka Chopra) been more brainy, she would have obviously added Kunal (John Abraham) and Sam (Abhishek Bachchan) on Facebook, or followed them on Twitter, only to know that they weren’t gay. There, end of the story!

Titled '<keyword id="20861548" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="gangs-of-ghaziabad" source="keywords">Gangs of Ghaziabad</keyword>', on Thursday, the 'Kalicharan' actor shared shared first poster of his web show on Instagram. He captioned the post, "It was a memorable experience to work with the dedicated and experienced director @nagender.choudhary.1 , talented and hardworking actors @itspradeepnagar , @thejatinsarna , great artists #Ashutoshrana, Abhimanyu singh,Mukesh Tiwari, the bright and promising @mahirasharma , and all the cast and crew of Suman Talkies . Sharing the first look of my debut on OTT GANGS OF GHAZIABAD an epic tale of crime, friendship and redemption produced by Vinay Kumar &amp; Pradeep Nagar and written &amp; Directed by <keyword id="20861547" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="nagender-choudhary" source="keywords">Nagender choudhary</keyword> joined by an ensemble cast. A journey back to the gritty underworld of the 90s awaits." The show also stars Ashutosh Rana, Pradeep Nagar, Jatin Sarna, Abhimanyu Singh, <keyword id="20290856" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="mukesh-tiwari" source="keywords">Mukesh Tiwari</keyword>, <keyword id="20861549" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="mahira-sharma" source="keywords">Mahira Sharma</keyword>, Sunny Leone and <keyword id="20861550" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="durgesh-kumar" source="keywords">Durgesh Kumar</keyword> in pivotal roles. The makers have now wrapped up the shooting of the show. The series is written and directed by Nagender Choudhary, who has previously worked as assistant director on projects like 'LOC Kargil' and also co-directed 'Paltan'. 'Gangs of Ghaziabad' is an epic tale of crime, friendship and redemption. The official streaming date of the series is still awaited. Shatrughan Sinha has done over 100 films in his career. 'Kalicharan', 'Dostana', 'JaDushman', and 'Khudgarz' are some of his memorable movies. With his personality, baritone and dialogue delivery, Sinha has always grabbed fans' attention. (ANI)

Mumbai, Actor <keyword id="2104801" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="kartik-aaryan" source="Orion">Kartik Aaryan</keyword> is set to star in filmmaker <keyword id="3778" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="karan-johar" source="Orion">Karan Johar</keyword>'s upcoming home production, the makers announced on Wednesday. The untitled film will be directed by Sandeep Modi of "The Night Manager" fame. A <keyword id="62161" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="dharma-productions" source="Orion">Dharma Productions</keyword> and Balaji Telefilms Ltd presentation, the movie is a Dharma Productions project. It is produced by <keyword id="1732860" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="hiroo-yash-johar" source="Orion">Hiroo Yash Johar</keyword>, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Shobha Kapoor, <keyword id="18583728" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="Ektaa-R-Kapoor" source="Orion">Ektaa R. Kapoor</keyword>. Karan Johar shared the announcement in an Instagram post on the occasion of Aaryan's 33 birthday. This film is scheduled to be released on August 15, 2025. "Kickstarting today with some special news on a special day!! Extremely thrilled to announce @dharmamovies &amp; @balajimotionpictures coming together for a film helmed by the exceptionally talented @sandeipm. "I find myself elated to also announce the supremely talented @kartikaaryan as our lead for this story that will unfold in cinemas on 15th August, 2025!!!!" the 51-year-old filmmaker wrote. He also extended birthday wishes to Aaryan and expressed his desire to collaborate with the actor again. "Kartik, happy birthday to you...may our collaboration only grow from strength to strength from hereon and never cease to create magic on the big screen," he said. In 2019, it was announced that Aaryan and Karan Johar would work together on "Dostana 2". Two years later, the makers said they will be recasting for the movie amid rumours about differences between the producer and the actor.

Mumbai, Superstar <keyword id="2823" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="Akshay-kumar" source="Orion">Akshay Kumar</keyword> on Friday announced the fifth instalment of his comedy franchise "<keyword id="63002" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="housefull" source="Orion">Housefull</keyword>". Tarun Mansukhani, known for movies "Dostana" and "Drive", will direct "Housefull 5", which will be released in theatres on Diwali 2024. Along with Kumar, actor Riteish Deshmukh will also return for the fifth chapter, to be produced by producer Sajid Nadiadwala's banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. "Get ready for FIVE times the madness! Bringing to y'all #SajidNadiadwala's #Housefull5 Directed by @tarun_mansukhani See you in cinemas on Diwali 2024!" Kumar posted on his social media handles. The franchise started with 2010's "Housefull", which was followed by three sequels -- "Housefull 2" (2012), "Housefull 3" (2016) and "Housefull 4" (2019).

The first eight minutes of <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/How-ABCs-Scandal-Gets-2200-Tweets-Per-Minute/articleshow/21370581.cms">ABC’s</a> latest offering <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/Watch-Priyanka-Chopra-as-an-FBI-Agent-in-the-trailer-of-Quantico/articleshow/47264370.cms">Quantico</a> is out and it’s clichéd as hell. 
 Created by Joshua Safran, <keyword id="253731" type="CITY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Quantico">Quantico</keyword> traces the lives of a group of young FBI recruits, training at the FBI Training Academy in Quantico, Virginia. 
The lead is played by one of Bollywood’s finest <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/Priyanka-Chopra-releases-first-look-of-Jai-GangaaJal-on-Prakash-Jhas-request/articleshow/48984128.cms">Priyanka Chopra</a> who essays the role of <keyword id="2845440" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Alex-Parrish">Alex Parrish</keyword>. 
 
The thriller is slated to go on air from the 27th of September, but the makers decided to go ahead and give us a sneak-peak by releasing the first eight minutes of the first episode, because a trailer’s just not enough. 
 The episode starts out with familarising us with <keyword id="1655" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Priyanka-Chopra">Priyanka Chopra</keyword>’s character lying face down amidst wreckage and it then cuts to the past where we are shown Piggy Chops lying to her mother like a true American daughter about going to the station, but instead heading out to the airport. 
 
In the plane, Priyanka Chopra’s Alex Parrish flirts with a stranger, Ryan Booth with whom she hooks up with in a car, presumably a few minutes after the plane lands. Have to admit, girl’s got her priorities in place. 
 
The stranger, like all other guys in the universe, gets a little too curious and asks Priyanka her name to which he is shown his place when she unwilling to reveal her identity uncovers everything about him, and more in just five points. This scene is easily the best and then only watchable scene in the eight minutes of ‘Have we not seen this in every crime thriller ever?’ also known as Quantico. 
 
However, Chopra soon finds out that the elusive stranger turns out to be her new classmate in the training academy. Awkward alert. 
 
We also get a brief introduction into the lives of the other recruits and we’re intrigued by what Nimah Anwar’s (played by Yasmin Al Marsi) backstory is. 
 
All in all, the first eight minutes of Quantico reveals nothing that we haven’t seen before except Priyanka Chopra trying really hard to fit. Her accent does sounds believable, her acting not quite. And, she looks straight out of Dostana, for some reason. 
 
The icing on the cake however, is the last scene which takes us back to a bruised Priyanka Chopra lying amidst the wreckage and turns out it’s a site of an explosion. 
 
Totally did not guess that.
