Analysts believe shares of the company are expected to do well because of the company’s dominant market position in the premium motorcycle space, positive cash flow and robust export opportunities. “Eicher Motors is market leader in the &gt;250 cc premium motorcycle segment (market share ~85%+) through its aspirational models under the Royal Enfield (RE) brand, such as Classic, Meteor, etc. It has a strong net cash positive balance sheet with healthy return ratios metrics,” said a report by brokerage firm ICICIdirect. Adding to it analysts at Sharekhan say that,”Promising launch of Hunter 350, focus on core brands through refreshed launches, better customisation, robust export opportunities and expected recovery in premiumisation trend in two-wheeler industry would widen Eicher Motor Ltd’s (EML’s) addressable market and boost performance going forward.” ICICI Bank, one of the largest private lenders in the country, has become more valued than ever before as its market capitalisation crossed ₹6 lakh crore this year. The lender has witnessed a strong growth journey in the last couple of years with healthy growth and is likely to mark the same going ahead. “ICICI Bank is likely to deliver sustainable earnings growth over the medium term driven by strong loan growth, margin expansion, credit cost moderation and healthy operating profitability aided by its strong liability franchise, higher capital ratios, better asset quality metrics and healthy provision buffers,” said analysts at Sharekhan. Kolkata-based FMCG-to-cigarette conglomerate ITC has rewarded investors with strong 55% returns this year. “The recovery in the cigarette business and uptick in agri, hotels, and paperboard in the near term makes ITC a better play in the entire FMCG pack where valuations are high,” said a report by Axis Securities. Meanwhile, private sector lender Axis Bank has given 17% returns to investors in 2022 and is further expected to report strong business growth. “Robust business growth, improving operational efficiency and synergy benefits from the Citi acquisition would reflect positively on the earnings trajectory and price performance,” said analysts at ICICIdirect. Although the Indian IT sector has gone through a rough phase this year due to recession fears, the fundamentals of top IT companies are still strong. Noida‐based HCL Technologies Ltd. (HCL) is India’s third‐largest IT services exporter with a strong global presence. “At current market price, the stock is relatively trading at a discount to the other large-cap IT companies like Infosys and TCS and offers tremendous value at current levels given market leader status in Infrastructure management,” said analysts at Angel One. As expected, people spent with vigour on clothes, shoes and more. This year, not only has that fervour gone down, but inflation and other worries have cropped up. Little apparel is moving from the stores without discounting, say retailers. A survey conducted by Clothing Manufacturing Association of India (CMAI) indicated widespread pessimism amongst merchants. As many as 78% of those surveyed expect the sales this festive season to dip up to 25% as compared to last year. Half of the survey respondents feel that kid’s wear will lead the way in sales, followed by 36% citing women’s wear. Only 12% bet that men’s wear will perform better. “This aligns with the broader slowdown experienced in the domestic garment sector during the last 4-5 months. Nevertheless, we anticipate a market upswing after Diwali, considering the extended wedding season that lies ahead,” said Rahul Mehta, chief mentor of CMAI. The festive season sales are likely to see same store de-growth, it predicts. Gone with the pandemic Pepe Jeans India too believes that the pandemic-era growth has tapered. The UK-based brand saw its India sales rise by 55% in 2022 — which is 40% higher than the pre-pandemic sales. This year, it expects to grow at 18% but believes it will finish the year with 12-18%. “Last year was phenomenal. But the truth is that we are growing on a high base. The festive season has also been subdued. While Pujo and Onam sales were good, we will wait for the impact of the Diwali sales season which are yet to pick up. So, growth is there but its muted,” Manish Kapoor, MD &amp; CEO, Pepe Jeans India told Business Insider. Discounts the key driver for sales? Indians have turned wary of discretionary purchases with lower-than-expected salary increments and rise in inflation — softening the sentiment. And, the only thing that’s re-energizing this market is the discounting. Let’s take India’s top apparel company Arvind Fashions which saw a good 9% like-to-like sales growth, but most of it was driven by discount season. Its retail discounting went up 3% in the second quarter. “This quarter can be divided into two parts. We had delayed the End Of Season in July due to good sell-throughs. And we saw good double digit like-to-like retail growth in August and July, but it was slightly negative in September due to less number of full-price days as festive season season dates shifted to October,” said Shailesh Chaturvedi, MD &amp; CEO of Arvind Fashions in an earnings concall. The shift in wedding and festival season has also affected <keyword id="64373" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="shoppers-stop" source="Orion">Shoppers Stop</keyword>. “The demand environment remains weak. Across cities, towns and categories, unlike last quarter, or earlier quarters, where it was more driven by rural or non-metro weakening of demand,” said Kavindra Mishra, CEO of Shoppers Stop in its Q2 earnings concall. It too had to resort to discounting that has affected its margins too. “Our performance on private brands last year was based on the pent-up demand immediately post-Covid. Given the slowness in the market, we liquidated part of our merchandise at a higher discount,” Mishra said. Bitten by inflation, Indians buying fewer clothes this season

<ul><li>Investments in gold ETFs grew by a whopping 472% at ₹841 crore in October ‘23.</li><li>Despite words of caution by experts, <keyword id="6416579" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="retail-investors" source="Orion">retail investors</keyword> continue to bet on midcap funds for better returns, thanks to government policies.</li><li>The weight of automobiles in overall allocation jumped to an almost 5-year high of 8.4% (up 10 bps MoM and 70 bps YoY) in October 2023. </li></ul> All that glitters is gold when it comes to the festive season in India. A month ahead of Diwali, retail investors chose to tank up on gold funds, going by data released by the Association of Mutual Funds of India (AMFI). Moreover, the weightage on sectors like auto, utilities and insurance stocks increased significantly while sectors such as banking saw a moderation. Investments in gold ETFs (exchange traded funds) grew by a whopping 472% at ₹841 crore in October compared to ₹147 crore in the same period last year. But that is not all, retail investors are now mature and picking themes with a view on higher value creation over the long term. The month of October reflects this trend quite clearly. As large caps continue to struggle, retail investors continue to bulk up on small and midcap funds that have already delivered over 40% returns this year. After a short blip in September, small cap funds attracted higher inflows to the tune of around ₹4,495 crore in October, up from ₹2,678 crore in September. According to ICRA Analytics, for a country to grow it should grow intrinsically strong and adopt a bottoms-up approach. The government is focusing on this and is making policies to strengthen such small companies. This is likely to augur well for small and mid-sized firms and would help in higher value creation. G. Pradeepkumar, CEO, Union Mutual Fund, says: “If one takes into account the allocations to mid and small caps in categories such as multicap, flexicap and large &amp; mid Cap, it appears that anywhere from 40% to 50% of the total net flows could have gone to mid and small-cap stocks. While the long-term outlook for these companies is positive, investors should remain cautious about the possibility of short-term market volatility and consider a staggered approach to their investments.” It is not just betting on smaller stocks that will lead to higher value creation that shows that the Indian retail investor has evolved. Analysis shows that the pace of redemptions slowed down to Rs 26,000 crore (down 14.8% month-on-month). Consequently, net inflows accelerated to ₹22,000 crore in October from ₹15,500 crore in September 2023. Financialisation of savings is a big trend that has been playing out since 2016 in India. The retail investor’s faith in the India story has not faded despite the headwinds. Explains Ashwini Kumar, Head Market Data, ICRA Analytics, “Net inflows during the month of October 2023 have grown by a whooping 473% at ₹80,528 crore, as against ₹14,047 crore in October 2022.” The sectoral shift The story gets even more interesting when one digs deeper into the monthly flows. Net inflows into equity-oriented schemes grew by 113% at ₹19,957 crore in October, up from ₹9,390 crore in the same period last year. According to analysis done by Motilal Oswal Financial Services (MOFS), the month saw notable changes in the sector and stock allocation of funds. Retail investors are doubling down on automobiles, utilities, consumer and insurance sectors. On a MoM basis, the weights of all these sectors increased while that of banks (Private &amp; PSU) , technology, capital goods, and metals moderated. The weight of automobiles jumped to an almost five-year (59-month) high of 8.4% (up 10 basis points month-on-month and +70 basis point year-on-year) in October 2023. Utilities’ weight climbed for the second consecutive month to a 38-month high of 3.9% (+10bp MoM, +60bp YoY), says MOFS. The weightage for private banks moderated for the fourth consecutive month to 18.7% (-20bp MoM, flat YoY) in October 2023. PSU Banks overall weight declined to 3% (-20bp MoM, -70bp YoY) and this is the lowest since February 2021.

<ul><li><keyword id="412367" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="consumer-sentiment" source="Orion">Consumer sentiment</keyword> has improved and Indians are eager to celebrate this <keyword id="36208" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="festive-season" source="Orion">festive season</keyword>, says a survey.</li><li>Consumers are keen to splurge on luxury goods, beauty and personal care products, consumer durables and more.</li><li>With a surge in inquiries, real estate players expect 20% growth in sales this season.</li><li>Online retailers are also expected to see 18-20% in gross merchandise value. </li></ul>Indians are gearing up for the festival season that kicks off with Ganesh Chathurthi this week. As the auspicious months arrive, the real estate sector is upbeat with new launches and more, but the shadow of the monsoons lingers over automobile dealers and jewellers. This season, Indians are not shying away from high-profile purchases this festive season as the real estate sector has reported healthy inquiries – thanks to the high consumer sentiment due to heightened economic activity. “As we approach the festive season, we are already witnessing a surge in inquiries and we are expecting around 20% growth compared to last year’s festive season. This naturally offers a context for consumers to go in for their dream homes as the overall climate is geared towards sustained demand,” said Ramani Sastri, chairman &amp; MD of Sterling Developers. The demand for new homes has been growing and has hit an all-time high, and realtors expect a windfall this season, aided by growth in new launches especially in the mid and luxury categories. Rising homeownership amongst millennials, aided by the higher disposable income and willingness to upgrade to larger, luxurious spaces equipped with better amenities. “Developers are optimistic about the desire for homeownership and anticipate that with attractive schemes and offers, the uptake for homes across cities will be healthy. Further, the unchanged repo rates and the appraisal cycle that coincides with the festive season, will provide a much-needed boost to the residential sales figures in the coming months,” said Kanika Gupta Shori, founder and COO, Square Yards. Consumer goods are also expected to see traction this season, thanks to the underlying need to improve living standards combined with the surge in the need for comfort in households. “People are upgrading to a more premium lifestyle and our products, with their distinct combination of technology, ultra-modern look and cutting-edge features, will continue to find traction. The focus on launching new products, coupled with good deals and enhanced distribution, especially in the tier-2 and tier-3 cities, should help brands during the festive season ahead,” said Parag Kulkarni, senior VP-international and president, A O Smith India, who are known for their water heaters and purifiers. Better than last year The festive mood is also high for other purchases like clothes, luxury goods and more. A survey by global technology company The Trade Desk says that 70% of Indians are ready to spend more this Diwali – that’s a 35% higher than last year. The year of 2022 was one of the first festival seasons which was not masked by fear of Covid-19 in the last few years. This year, sales are expected to be better. “With the broader economy coming back to business-as-usual levels, this festive season is likely to catalyze online consumption demand,” said a report by Redseer. With regards to online shopping, the growth in gross merchandise value (GMV) of sales is expected to be 18-20% higher than what it was in the 2022 festival season – which saw a 10% growth. “The planned increase in consumer spend is led primarily by consumers’ bullish view that their financial situation has improved according to 53%, and consumers’ eagerness to celebrate a lot more this year as per 49%,” The Trade Desk says. A significant majority ie. 84% expressed interest in buying luxury goods and apparel, with 80% on gold, as per Trade Desk survey. Amongst those who plan to spend more, 68% are more likely to spend more on new clothes, the rest on food items, gifts for family and more. Within e-tailing, beauty and personal care products, home and general merchandise, fashion are expected to see high demand – with persistent premiumization. Auto and gold sales rely on rural demand for growth uptick After an upbeat August sales when sales of passenger vehicles and three-wheelers hit an all-time high, the outlook for auto sales too is upbeat. “Based on the performance of last month (August) , we are even more optimistic for demand to pick-up during the festive season, enabled by positive economic outlook and the revival of monsoon after a deficit in August,” said Vinod Aggarwal, the president of industry body Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM). Two-wheeler sales, however, remained dull due to subdued rural demand on account of insufficient rainfall that could temper sales growth going ahead, as per experts. Consumer demand in this segment has remained ‘ambivalent’ according to yet another industry body Federation of Automobile Dealers Association (FADA). The monsoons have been in a deficit for most of the season, while a pick-up is expected in September. Without that pick-up, combined with low reservoir levels can have both direct and indirect effect on consumption both in rural and urban areas. Low sowing across two cropping seasons can have a devastating effect on inflation — driving down consumer sentiment across auto and other sectors. “After a prolonged period of stagnation, rural demand is showing signs of a positive resurgence. However, this recovery remains tenuous, contingent on the performance of the final phase of the monsoon season. Such developments would be particularly inopportune as they would coincide with the peak of India's festive season, notably Navratri and Deepawali, traditionally periods of heightened consumer activity,” said FADA. Jewellery sales too could be clouded by inflation, say experts, even as the yellow metal’s prices have been inching down on account of various macro economic factors. “With the start of the festive and wedding season, domestic gold demand is expected to gain impetus. However, higher inflation and weaker rural income on account of a less than ideal monsoon could potentially weigh on demand,” says Ghazal Jain, fund manager, alternative investments at Quantum Mutual Fund. Others, however, feel that consumers would be keen on addition to their physical old portfolio driven by the lower prices. Their prices have come down from a high of ₹61,750 per 10 gm in May to ₹59,000 per 10 gm currently — a healthy 20-25% drop from the recent surge. “Festive seasons have consistently witnessed a surge in physical gold demand, particularly in the realm of ornamental jewellery, as consumers seek the latest and trendiest designs. After a period of subdued festivities, the recent years have seen a resurgence in celebrations, rekindling the enthusiasm for gold,” said Jateen Trivedi, VP-research at LKP Securities. India switches on its shopping mode as festivals approach, sales set to jump 20%

The demand for <keyword id="18712" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="gold" source="Orion">gold</keyword> went up by 14 per cent to 191.7 ton in India during the third quarter of this calendar year, said the <keyword id="113718" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="world-gold-council" source="Orion">World Gold Council</keyword> (WGC) on Tuesday. According to the WGC, the gold demand in India was at 191.7 ton (value ₹85,010 crore) during Q3 2022 as against 168 ton (₹71,630 crore) of the corresponding period in 2021. The jewellery demand for the period under review was at 146.2 ton up from 125.1 ton the previous year. On the other hand, the total investment demand for Q3 2022 at 45.4 ton in comparison to 42.9 ton in Q3 2021. The recycled gold showed a downward trend in Q3 2022 with 16 ton as compared to 20.7 ton in Q3 2021. For the nine months of 2022 the gold demand stood at 497.8 ton (jewellery 380.7 ton, investment 117.1 ton) as compared to 453.5 ton (jewellery 345.9 ton investment 107.6 ton "India's total gold demand in Q3 2022 at 191.7 tonnes is a 14 per cent increase over last year. This reflects better-than expected performance and strong consumer interest, helping year-to-date demand return to pre-Covid levels," said Somasundaram P.R., Regional CEO, India, WGC. Credit expansion added impetus to this demand, with bank loan growth touching a nine-year high by quarter-end. He said the recovery in gold jewellery demand was primarily driven by urban India, more specifically Southern parts, underpinned by robust economic activities with a 17 per cent y-o-y increase in tonnage terms. Rural demand however, was impacted by seasonal effect (monsoons) and inflation. On the other hand, Indian bar and coin demand also saw a six per cent y-o-y improvement to 45.4 ton, he added. "Looking ahead, Indian retail investment is likely to continue to benefit from safe-haven demand amid rising interest rates and a weakening rupee. There's optimism in the overall outlook for the rest of the year with weddings and Diwali demand in Q4, but it is unlikely to match last year's record-breaking Q4. Our gold demand estimate for the full year is around 750-800 ton similar to last year," Somasundaram said. At the global level, WGC said the demand for the yellow metal (excluding OTC) in the third quarter of 2022 hit 1,181 ton, up 28 per cent year-on-year. Strong demand pushed the year-to-date total to its pre-Covid levels. Gold demand was bolstered by the consumers and central banks, although there was a notable contraction in investment demand. According to WGC, investment was down 47 per cent year-on-year, as exchange traded fund (ETF) investors responded to a challenging combination of markedly higher interest rates and a strong US dollar with significant outflows of 227 ton. These movements, alongside weakness in OTC demand and negative sentiment in futures markets, hampered gold's price performance -- contributing to an eight per cent quarter-on-quarter drop in the price during Q3 2022. Just as consumer gold demand firmed, central bank buying picked up significantly with estimated record purchases of nearly 400 t in the third quarter, said WGC. "Looking ahead, we anticipate central bank buying and retail investment to remain strong and that could help offset potential declines in OTC and ETF investment that may prevail if the dollar strength persists. We also expect to see jewellery demand continue to perform strongly in some regions such as India and Southeast Asia, while the technology sector will likely witness further decline in the face of economic deceleration," Louise Street, Senior Markets Analyst said. Gold demand went up by 14% in Q3: World Gold Council

The Index of Industrial Production (<keyword id="6427912" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="IIP" source="Orion">IIP</keyword>) rose by 3.1 per cent to 133.5 in September, according to official data released by the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) on Friday. The growth in the industrial index was aided by all major sectors like mining, which rose 4.6 per cent to 99.5 in September, manufacturing sector, which grew 1.8 per cent to 134.3, and the electricity sector, which soared 11.6 per cent to 187.4, according to the official data. Expressing satisfaction at the 3.1 per cent growth in industrial production in September, experts said the December monetary policy action by the central bank on the credit flow and interest rates are key factors. Experts also expressed concern on the poor performance of the consumer durables and non-durables segment. On Friday, the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation published the quick estimates of Index of Industrial Production (IIP) for September 2022. As per the data, the IIP grew by 3.1 per cent as compared to 4.4 per cent logged during September 2021. CARE Ratings' Chief Economist, Rajani Sinha, said: "The IIP growth for September has been higher than expectations. The strong growth recorded in capital goods and infrastructure sector is encouraging and is hopefully a precursor to pick up in the capex cycle." However, improvement in domestic consumption demand will be critical for sustained recovery in India's growth momentum, she said. "Hence, poor performance of IIP consumer durables and non-durables is worrisome. Going forward, as inflation moderates, we are likely to see a pickup in consumption demand," Sihna added. Knight Frank India's Director, Research, Vivek Rathi, said: "A revival of 3.1 per cent in Industrial production growth is a strong indication of improving output and demand condition in the economy. The boost to industrial production in September is coming from a significant growth in capital and infrastructure output." However, he said that the revival in manufacturing output is moderate and is yet to a show significant recovery. "Going forward, strong manufacturing sector performance as witnessed in expansionary manufacturing PMI (purchasing managers index) and improving capacity utilisation provides more impetus to the manufacturing output which would boost industrial production," Rathi added. According to him, the cues from post-Diwali season sales, sustenance of manufactured products and RBI action in December on credit flow and interest rates will hold the key for industrial production. "The September IIP growth at 3.1 per cent is better than most estimates. The biggest component manufacturing and mining growth at 1.8 per cent and 4.6 per cent respectively is a positive. It indicates the traction in the industrial segment," Nish Bhatt, Founder &amp; CEO, of Millwood Kane International said. Bhatt said the one concern is the contraction in consumer durables and non-consumer durables, despite September being a festive season month when people spend. "The industrial growth, and CPI inflation data due next week couple d with the Q2 GDP data will be a data set that will be keenly watched by the RBI which meets next month to decide on the monetary policy," Bhatt added. India's industrial output grows 3.1% in September, beats analyst expectations

With the samples of four more Covid positive cases getting confirmed for <keyword id="12617922" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="Omicron-variant" source="Orion">Omicron variant</keyword> on Monday, Kerala now has 15 such cases, said State <keyword id="6356374" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="Health-Minister" source="Orion">Health Minister</keyword> Veena George. All the four have been under the close watch of the health authorities and were in quarantine. Hence, there was no reason to suspect a further spread, said the minister. All the four new cases were in the state capital district, and of these three are from the same family. All the 15 cases were reported to be stable. Five more <keyword id="1609796" type="General" weightage="100" keywordseo="omicron" source="Orion">Omicron</keyword> cases have been detected in Karnataka, which took the overall tally of infections caused by the new Covid-19 variant to 19, state Health Minister K. Sudhakar said on Monday. According to the Minister, the new cases were reported from Dharwad, Bhadravathi, Udupi and Mangaluru districts. Even though the new patients are stable, the health department is on high alert as the new variant has been found among hostel students with no travel history. So far, 49 samples have been sent for genomic sequencing tests and their reports are awaited. According to the State Surveillance Unit Commissionerate of Health and Family Welfare, a 54-year-old fully vaccinated male patient from Dharwad has tested positive for Omicron. His travel history or contact with international travellers is being ascertained, health officials said. His sample was collected on December 4 from DIMHANS in Dharwad after he positive for Covid the previous day. He is currently healthy and is under home isolation. Four of his primary and 133 secondary contacts have been tracked and tested. Their results were negative. Another 20-year-old Omicron positive woman's travel history and contact with international travellers is being ascertained. Her samples were collected on December 4 from a college in Shivamogga district's Bhadravathi town where she is living in a hostel, according to the health officials. As many as 218 of her contacts have been tested and 27 of them were Covid positive. All samples have been sent for Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS). The authorities are also tracing travel or contact history of a 73-year-old man and an 82-year-old man who tested positive for the new variant. Their samples were collected from a private hospital in Udupi. At present they have no Covid-19 symptoms. The youngest member of their family, aged 11 years, has also tested positive. As many as 42 primary contacts and 293 secondary contacts of a 19-year-old Omicron positive college student from Mangaluru, has also been tested. His samples have also been sent for genome sequencing. <ul><li>As the year draws to a close, it is important to pause and reflect.</li><li>We speak to industry leaders about the year gone by and a few lessons they learnt from 2021.</li></ul>It was during the peak of the pandemic in 2020 when doctors across the world were still trying to figure out what the novel Coronavirus is, I lost my grandmother. Shortly after, my father tested positive for the virus. His oxygen dropped to 78 mm. We struggled to find a bed for him and found a hospital 50 kms away. He was still mourning the loss of his mother, fighting a deadly virus, struggling to form sentences but he had a huge smile on his face when I taught him how to video call on WhatsApp. He was there for two weeks but those weeks definitely felt like a decade to me. I had the nurse's number on my speed dial, I called her first thing in the morning to ask, "How is my father breathing today? Has his oxygen picked up?" She would respond patiently, "Yes, we are doing our best." To escape from this, I buried myself in work, binge-watched violent movies to numb the pain I was actually feeling. After we heard the news that he is coming back, we decorated the house. I put up some fairy lights, made a rangoli, bought his favourite sweets -- Kaju Katli. After all, we were welcoming Ram back into his home right before Diwali. It took me a while to process the horrendous month that I had spent. Thankfully, I had a very supportive team at work. I remember texting my editor a week later, "I will be submitting my story late today, I am too anxious and panicked." She responded, "Sure, take your time, Karuna." So, if 2020 was about self-isolation, making sure our older family members stay safe and prioritizing their physical health, 2021 taught me the importance of mental health. After months of working from home -- away from our loved ones, seeing the country battle a deadly virus and our medical industry getting crippled, 2021 was all about healing from the storm. It was about finding comfort in little wins and reminding ourselves that we are all in this together. Change can be scary, sure, and not knowing what the future holds is scarier, but resilience is stronger. As we enter a new year with a lot of uncertainty yet again because no one knows what variants COVID-19 will throw at us, it is important to remember that we have survived the worst. By now, we know what works and what doesn’t. The impact of 2020 and 2021 will be felt next year too but remember to take care of yourself first if you want to be able to show up for other people too. And most importantly, double mask up, people! While there certainly was a big drop in businesses and toplines, what was at stake was organisations' humanity. People in organisations everywhere dealt with the kind of uncertainty they never were faced before. Uncertainty of livelihoods, careers and sanity amidst surmounting work pressures. The better organisations, in my opinion, made sure that their people were taken care of at least as much as their businesses. And I realised that I have taken a lot for granted. Money won’t buy you your loved ones. Spend time with them. 2. Take care of yourself - Eat well, exercise and sleep for eight hours. You will enjoy life a lot more if you are fit. 3. Be kind to yourself- I am less critical of myself today than I was in 2019. I am comfortable in my skin and happy where I am. Could I have done better? I don’t know. And I don’t care. 4. Invest in yourself - Learn a new skill. Learn a new language. Take up new hobbies. Add new facets to your personality. Reinvent yourself. Be interesting. 5. Practice Gratitude - You are on a piece of rock whipping around a burning star at nearly 40 times the speed of a bullet. Appreciate the miracle . Be thankful for just being alive.
