The global PC shipments declined by 0.2% year-on-year in Q4 2023. According to a report by Counterpoint Research, the year-end holiday season failed to boost the shipments in the last quarter of the year. With this, the year 2023 ended with a 14% year-on-year decline in PC shipments. The slowdown in decline in shipments is being seen as a positive and companies expect a recovery in the first half of 2024. The decline in shipments in 2023 is being attributed to a slowdown in both commercial and consumer segments. The Ottobot Yei is, however, useful for no-contact deliveries, which may be useful in areas affected by COVID.
