The move is positive for the sector and the economy as it will help bolster domestic manufacturing, boost employment and scape up exports. The scheme is reportedly expected to provide employment to <a href="https://www.ndtv.com/business/incentives-worth-over-rs-10-000-crore-approved-for-textiles-sector-payout-to-be-spread-over-5-years-2533900">7.5 lakh people</a>. Alok Industries, Arvind, Deepak Spinners, Trident gain on PLI for textiles sector, analysts expect the rally to continue

In between, Gaikwad maintained the balance with a 36-ball 46 as Chennai posted a Herculean 206 for 6. Titans, in reply, could manage only 143 for 8 as Deepak Chahar (2/28 in 4 overs), Mustafizur Rahman (2/30 in 4 overs), Tushar Deshpande (2/21) and Matheesha Pathirana (1/29 in 4 overs) one by one tightened the noose on Titans batting unit. Skipper Shubman Gill needed to fire but his poor shot selection of a Deepak Chahar delivery, which wasn't as short as expected for a pull-shot, brought his downfall. Once Shubman was gone, Gujarat didn't even have a chance in hell with players like Wriddhiman Saha (21 off 17 balls) and B Sai Sudharsan (37, 31 balls), who on most days play second fiddle to perfection. Finishers like David Miller (21) and Rahul Tewatia (1) too couldn't produce enough on the board to go for the improbable chase and the inevitable happened. Put into bat, Rachin's slam-bang approach and Dube's final flourish got CSK past the 200-run mark. Rachin made full use of Powerplay, racing to 46 off 20 balls while Dube, a nightmare for spinners, then used his long levers to whack 51 in only 23 deliveries to increase the challenge of GT batters by manifold. Dube's innings had as many as five sixes. In between, skipper Gaikwad's chiselled 46 off 36 balls also was a significant contribution in another impactful batting performance by the team on a hard bouncy track that was on offer. Not to forget CSK's Rs 7.60 crore recruit Sameer Rizvi (14 off 6 balls), who pummelled Rashid Khan (2/49 in 4 overs) for two sixes to mark a memorable IPL debut. Rachin, who has already become a darling of the CSK fans, enthralled all and sundry with his audacious stroke-play. While he missed out again on a half-century but team's 'spiritual skipper' Mahendra Singh Dhoni would be all smiles knowing that his choice was perfect to the 'T'. The three sixes -- a flick behind the square and one over long-on off the normally profligate Umesh Yadav and one off Azmatullah Omarzai were hit with so much disdain that it did put Gujarat Titans in a spot. The ball deviated enough and the keeper completed mere formality. Gaikwad wasn't as fluent as Rachin to begin with but in his five boundaries and a six, he oozed class before becoming Saha's third victim with the gloves. While trying to pull Spencer Johnson, he ended up edging one behind the stumps. After that it was Dube, who just plonked his front-foot and bludgeoned Sai Kishore for two monstrous sixes and also sent Johnson's delivery soaring for a maximum. Dube had the composed Daryl Mitchell for company, who also chipped in with an unbeaten 20-ball-24 in a stand of 57 runs for the fourth wicket in 5.5 overs.

The ball did not turn in the second innings. Credit to our spinners for how well they bowled. I always felt that if I or Rinku could hold one end up, we will chase this down. That is what happened," said Nitish in a post-match presentation. Notably, Nitish is having a great IPL 2023 as a batter. In 13 matches, he has scored 405 runs at an average of 33.75 and a strike rate of 143.10. He has three half-centuries this season, with the best score of 75. Ball did not turn in second innings, says KKR skipper Nitish Rana after win over CSK

Shikhar Dhawan to lead India in West Indies ODI series with Ravindra Jadeja as his deputy

Saturday night will see a clash between the master and the apprentice. MS Dhoni, who is on the last bend of his career and has been turning up only for <keyword id="13886" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Chennai-Super-Kings">Chennai Super Kings</keyword> (CSK) since his retirement from international cricket last year, will lead the three-time champions against Delhi Capitals (DC), who will be captained by Rishabh Pant, his long-term successor as India's first choice wicketkeeper. While his power-hitting has already been well-known, his batting went a notch higher since the last Indian Premier League (IPL) as he helped India win the Test series in Australia and against England at home. "Samsung's relentless focus on consumer innovations means it is the only full-range player in the tablets business in India, with products across price spectrum. Samsung's tablets have done extremely well across mass (less than Rs 20,000), mid (Rs 20K-40K) as well as premium (Rs 40K) segments," the south Korean tech giant said in a statement. It’s a ₹26,058 crore scheme that is aimed at incentivising the production of automobiles, auto components and <a href="https://www.businessinsider.in/tech/news/covid-19-vaccines-and-medicines-delivery-from-drone-in-telangana/articleshow/86037081.cms" data-type="tilCustomLink">drones</a> in the country. Union Minister Anurag Thakur announced the approval of the PLI scheme saying that it has seen success in the past and could prove beneficial for different sectors. Thakur added that this scheme will help boost the production of advanced automobiles, auto components and drones in the country, and also help create “champion industries” in these sectors, Mint <a href="https://www.livemint.com/news/india/cabinet-clears-production-incentives-for-auto-drone-industries-11631699587591.html">reported</a>. The ₹26,058 crore will be divided between the auto sector and the drone industry out of which the former will get ₹25,938 crore and the latter will get ₹120 crore. The amount allocated for the drone industry will span over three years. This is almost double the combined turnover of all domestic drone manufacturers in the financial year 2020-21, as per data from an earlier press note from the ministry of aviation. The PLI scheme is expected to bring around ₹47,500 crore additional investments to these sectors, and create around 760,000 new jobs in the auto sector. It will be effective from the financial year 2023 for a period of five years. Government approves ₹26,058 crore PLI scheme for auto and drone industries

 All-rounder Hardik Pandya's last-over heroics helped <keyword id="13880" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Mumbai-Indians">Mumbai Indians</keyword> recover from a mediocre position to post a healthy 184/8 against <keyword id="3315697" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Rising-Pune-Supergiant">Rising Pune Supergiant</keyword> (RPS) in the second game of the 2017 Indian Premier League (IPL) at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium here on Thursday. 
 
Bengal medium pacer Ashoke Dinda was the culprit for the home side conceding 30 runs in the final over when Hardik (35 not out) hammered the right-armer for four sixes (including three consecutive) and a four to change the course of the game. 
 
Earlier, South African leg-spinner Imran Tahir, who went unsold in the auctions and was a late addition to the Pune squad, brought the hosts back into the game with three quick wickets after the Mumbai opening duo of Jos Buttler (38) and Parthiv Patel (19) added 45 runs for the opening wicket. 
 
Introduced in the fifth over, Tahir struck in his second ball when he bowled Parthiv round his legs before packing Mumbai skipper Rohit Sharma (3) and Buttler in his next over to reduce Mumbai to 62/3. 
 
Rohit, who has been out of action for almost five months, was slow on his feet and it was enough for Tahir to break through his defence. One ball later, Tahir trapped the dangerous Buttler in front although television replays later showed that the Englishman had got a thick inside edge. 
 
Before his dismissal, Buttler lived up to his billing, milking his English teammate and IPL-10's costliest buy Ben Stokes (Rs 14.5 crore) for two consecutive sixes and then dispatching rookie Rajasthan medium-pacer Deepak Chahar for a four and a six off back-to-back deliveries. His 19-ball knock was laced with three hits to the fence and as many maximums. 
 
After the strategic time-out, Pune skipper Steve Smith introduced veteran all-rounder Rajat Bhatia, who responded well by taking a simple return catch to pack Ambati Rayudu (10) before dismissing Krunal Pandya (3) cheaply. 
 
Australian leggie Adam Zampa then added to the misery for the visitors by picking the crucial wicket of Nitish Rana (34), comfortably caught by Bhatia at deep midwicket. 
 
Rana looked good for his 28-ball knock, consisting a four and two sixes, but it was the 30-run fourth-wicket stand with Rayudu and 18 runs with Keiron Pollard (27) that mattered more. 
 Pollard, who was dropped by <keyword id="6397" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Dhoni">Dhoni</keyword> on 22, struggled to get the big shots before falling to a stunning running catch by Mayank Agarwal at the long-on boundary off Stokes. 
 
The West Indian struck three boundaries and a six in his 17-ball innings as he added 21 runs for the seventh wicket with Hardik Pandya. 
 
Hardik then added 37 runs for the eighth wicket with New Zealander Tim Southee (7) to put Mumbai in a commanding position.
