Best of all, it had a voiceover from Carrie with her iconic line " ... and just like that," which inspired the reboot's title.</p><p>Many "SATC" stars <a href="https://www.insider.com/sex-and-the-city-reboot-cast-2021-2">are set to return to the reboot</a> alongside Parker, Nixon, and Davis, including Chris Noth as Mr. Big, John Corbett as Aidan Shaw, and Willie Garson as Stanford Blatch. Evan Handler will also be back as Charlotte's husband Harry, as will David Eigenberg who plays Miranda's husband Steve Brady.</p><p>Samantha Jones (played by <keyword id="15579" type="PERSON" weightage="60" keywordseo="Kim-Cattrall">Kim Cattrall</keyword>) and her witty remarks will, however, remain absent from the reboot, reportedly because of <a href="https://www.insider.com/sex-and-the-city-3-movie-cancelled-explained-2017-10">a rumored decades-long feud between Parker and Cattrall</a>.</p><p>HBO executive Casey Bloys <a href="https://tvline.com/2021/02/10/sex-and-the-city-revival-samantha-kim-cattrall-absence-explained/">told TVLine in February</a> that Samantha would not be recast. Instead, the character will be written out of the storyline.</p><p>"Just as in real life, people come into your life, people leave," Bloys told the publication. "Friendships fade, and new friendships start.
