The <keyword id="3274960" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="National-High-Speed-Rail-Corporation-Limited">National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited</keyword> (NHSRCL) on Saturday said that it has opened two <keyword id="1115984" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Technical-bids">technical bids</keyword> for <keyword id="34617" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="construction">construction</keyword> or building of bridges for the 508 km Mumbai-Ahmedabad High Speed Rail (MAHSR) corridor in the state of <keyword id="6354766" type="LOCATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="Gujarat">Gujarat</keyword> and <keyword id="382155" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Dadra">Dadra</keyword> and Nagar Haveli in which nine companies have participated. NHSRCL spokesperson Sushma Gaur said that the technical bids for contract packages of P-1(B) and P-1(C) for construction or building of bridges for the MAHSR corridor in the state of Gujarat as well union territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli. She said that as of now, 5 bidders for <keyword id="10880154" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="p-1">P-1</keyword> (C) whereas four bidders for P-1 (B) have submitted their bids for the package. She said that the P-1 (C) package includes construction of bridges for double line High Speed railway for four PSC Bridges and seven steel truss bridges between Zaroli Village at Maharashtra -- Gujarat Border and Vadodara, in Gujarat and the union territory of Dadar and Nagar Haveli for the project. Gaur said that for the P-1 (C) package, Ranjit Buildcon Limited, MG Contractors Pvt Ltd, KEC-SAM India JV and GRIL-GPT JV have participated in the technical bids. Meanwhile, package P-1 (B) includes the construction of bridges for double line high speed railway for one PSC Bridge and four steel truss bridges between Vadodara and <keyword id="5065" type="LOCATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="Ahmedabad">Ahmedabad</keyword>, in Gujarat for the project. She said that Ranjit Buildcon Limited, MG Contractors Pvt Ltd, KEC-SAM India JV and GRIL-GPT JV and URC Construction Pvt Ltd have participated in the technical bids. The major threat for the BJP is from the Congress party this time as the INC has nominated a very popular tribal leader Delkar Mohanbhai Sanjibhai. He has won from here six times earlier and had become the MP. He founded the party known as Bharatiya Navshakti Party. Later he joined BJP and Congress jumping from here to there. He fought from this Lok Sabha seat on Congress ticket and bagged an encouraging result during 1991 and 1996 elections. In 1998, he joined the BJP. Then he contested as an independent candidate. In 2009, he joined the Congress party once again. There were rumors that he might join the BJP in 2014 and also in 2019. However, he chose to contest in the Congress ticket in 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

New Delhi, Jan 23 () The new union territory of Dadra &amp; Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu has been assigned new vehicle registration mark 'DD', the government said on Thursday.
 The Centre on Wednesday had designated Daman as the headquarters of the merged union territories of Daman and Diu, and Dadra and Nagar Haveli.
 "The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) has assigned a new motor vehicle Registration Mark 'DD' to 'Dadra &amp; Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu' for registration of vehicles," MoRTH said in a statement.
 The ministry has issued a notification to this effect, under the Motor Vehicles Act 1988.

Lying between Maharashtra in the south and Gujarat in the north, Dadra and Nagar Haveli is inhabited by a majority of Scheduled Tribes namely Varlies, Kokana, Dhodia and Dublas. Since more than half of the populace is made up by the Scheduled Tribes, Dadra and Nagar Haveli is designated as a ST constituency. For two consecutive terms, the BJP won from this union territory. The major threat for the BJP is from the Congress party this time as the INC has nominated a very popular tribal leader Delkar Mohanbhai Sanjibhai. He has won from here six times earlier and had become the MP. He founded the party known as Bharatiya Navshakti Party. Later he joined BJP and Congress jumping from here to there. He fought from this Lok Sabha seat on Congress ticket and bagged an encouraging result during 1991 and 1996 elections. In 1998, he joined the BJP. Then he contested as an independent candidate. In 2009, he joined the Congress party once again. There were rumors that he might join the BJP in 2014 and also in 2019. As per its latest Enforcement Report, the US health regulator noted that the Chennai-based drug firm is recalling the affected lot of eye lubricant for artificial tears which have been linked to vision loss in the US. The lot has been manufactured by Chennai-based <keyword id="693352" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="Global-Pharma" source="Orion">Global Pharma</keyword> Healthcare and distributed in the US market by New York-based Delsam <keyword id="6363818" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="Pharma" source="Orion">Pharma</keyword>, the USFDA said. Stating the reason for recall, the US health regulator said: "FDA analysis found unopened tubes to be contaminated with bacteria." The company initiated the Class I recall on February 24 this year. As per the USFDA, a Class I recall is the most urgent of the three types of FDA recalls and usually pertains to defective products that can cause serious health problems. In February, Global Pharma Healthcare had announced that it is recalling its entire lot of eye drops allegedly linked to vision loss in the US. Artificial Tears Lubricant eye drops are used as a protectant against irritation or to relieve dryness of the eye. In a separate disclosure, the USFDA stated that Mumbai-based Sun Pharma is recalling 1,920 bottles of Dofetilide Capsules, which are used to treat irregular heartbeat. The affected lot has been produced at Sun's Dadra-based plant, the USFDA stated. The US-based unit of the company -- Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Inc -- is recalling the lot due to "Failed content uniformity specifications," it added. The New Jersey based firm initiated the Class III recall on March 9. As per USFDA, a Class III recall is initiated in a "situation in which use of, or exposure to, a violative product is not likely to cause adverse health consequences."

The online application started on January 15 and the last date to fill the <a href="https://www.rectt.in/">application form</a> is February 15. Applicants can’t be older than 24 as on January 31. If you have completed graduation, or if it has been more than three years since your last academic qualification, you are not eligible to apply for these roles. Applicants with more than one year’s work experience will not be considered. The duration of the apprenticeship programme is 12 months and all the trade and technician apprentices will be paid a consolidated stipend with additional ₹2,500 per month for stationery, conveyance &amp; miscellaneous expenses. Candidates will have to appear for a 90 minute online objective written test. The candidates will have to secure a minimum of 40% marks in the test to qualify for the selection process.
