This is the country’s first humanoid robot after the company introduced a robot dog, the <a href="https://www.businessinsider.in/tech/news/xiaomis-cyberdog-is-a-robotic-version-of-mans-best-friend/articleshow/85233725.cms">CyberDog</a>, in August 2021. The company launched the CyberOne along with its foldable phone. The humanoid robot was seen with the company’s chief executive officer Lei Jun on stage. The robot handed a flower to Jun on stage. The company has also claimed that the humanoid has a high emotional quotient, can detect human emotions, and has advanced vision capabilities. CyberOne features two microphones and two cameras, allowing it to hear and see in three dimensions. It uses microphones to analyze human vocal expressions and can detect 45 different emotions. The CyberOne weighs 52 kg and has a height of 5 feet 8 inches (177 cm). It can walk at a speed of 3.6 km per hour and grip objects while it walks. It is to be noted that CyberOne is still in development and may take a long time before it is ready for commercial launch. Each unit of CyberOne can cost between CNY 600,000 to CNY 700,000 (approx. ₹71 lakh to ₹82.8 lakh). The company will have to significantly reduce the price if it plans on building it on a large scale. The CyberOne is still in the early stages of development and cannot be compared to other humanoid robots, such as the Atlas from <keyword id="1005599" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="boston-dynamics" source="Orion">Boston Dynamics</keyword>. Boston Dynamics worked on Atlas for over 25 years and continues to develop it. Elon Musk-led Tesla revealed that the company is working on a robot named <keyword id="545507" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="optimus" source="Orion">Optimus</keyword>, which will be launched in 2023. Xiaomi’s CyberOne humanoid robot can detect human emotions and costs as much as a Ford Mustang

<ul class="summary-list"><li>Last week, Xiaomi posted a video of CyberOne, a humanoid bot that looks a lot like designs for Tesla's Optimus.</li><li>Elon Musk has said a prototype of a Tesla bot could be unveiled as soon as September.</li></ul>Xiaomi beat Tesla to building a functional humanoid robot, but the design for its CyberOne robot looks eerily similar to the electric-car maker's Optimus.Last week, the Chinese tech company unveiled its first look at CyberOne during a <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iRKiXCASoDs">live event</a> in Beijing. The humanoid bot was able to walk across the stage and appeared to communicate with Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun. Tesla is expected to reveal more details on its own bot in September at the carmaker's second annual AI Day. Elon Musk has <a href="https://www.businessinsider.com/elon-musk-tesla-ai-day-pushed-to-september-2022-6">said</a> Tesla may have an Optimus prototype ready by the September 30 event.Until then, Xiaomi's new bot could provide some insight into what we can expect from a Tesla bot. Unlike the Optimus designs, CyberOne has mitten-like hands that can open and close, but don't appear to do much else.The Chinese tech company has been known to riff off the designs of other tech companies. Over the past decade, the company has repeatedly released smartphones and internal updates that are almost indistinguishable from Apple's iPhone and iOS software. In 2014, former Apple Chief Design Officer Johnny Ive <a href="https://www.businessinsider.com/xiaomi-to-jony-ive-try-our-phones-before-you-accuse-us-of-theft-2014-10">accused</a> Xiaomi of "theft." An accusation which Xiaomi cofounder Lin Bin denied at the time. Last year, Xiaomi <a href="https://www.businessinsider.com/xiaomi-apple-samsung-vivo-oppo-smartphone-canalys-cell-phone-iphone-2021-7">overtook</a> Apple to become the world's second-biggest smartphone seller.Unlike Tesla, Xiaomi does not appear to have any plans to turn CyberOne into some kind of <a href="https://www.businessinsider.com/elon-musk-unveils-tesla-bot-humanoid-robot-based-off-autopilot-2021-8">human butler</a>. In its press release, the company says CyberOne will "give birth to more application scenarios in other fields," emphasizing that the bot will act more as a marketing tool than a major product. The high level talks touched upon gas exports to Turkey with both Central Banks agreeing to partially pay for them in Roubles, and that <keyword id="6358826" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="russia" source="Orion">Russia</keyword> and Turkey were moving forward to a gradual transition to paying in national currencies only. Russian-Turkey bilateral trade is currently running at about $23.5 billion with both sides committing to increasing this to $100 billion by 2030. With China vowing to anchor the bonhomie with Russia, there seems a certainty that 'Dollar Distancing' could be a reality in coming days. Similarly, according to some media reports, <keyword id="3658" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="india" source="Orion">India</keyword>n companies are also using Asian currencies more often to pay for Russian coal imports. India has been aggressively purchasing coal and oil from Russia since the beginning of Russia-Ukraine war, which allowed then to procure this items at lower cost. The local currency which was under pressure last month has seen appreciating in last few days after FII inflows turned positive since July-end pouring in $3.3 billion into the country. Notably, FII inflows remained in the negative territory for 9 months since October 2021 and only reversed in July. Oil has also moved down below $100/bbl and moving around $96/bbl after the increase in US stockpiles indicated low demand. On the external data front, the recent trade deficit data shows an increase to record high in July 2022, annualizing the current deficit numbers gives annual deficit of 8.5 per cent of our GDP projections for FY23 which is much lower than the peak deficit of 10.7 per cent of GDP achieved in FY13. Thus, the current situation is much better than that in 2012-13. Moreover, the market has already priced in higher CAD i.e. higher than 3 per cent of GDP for FY23. On the inflation front, going forward, SBI Ecowrap report expect inflation trajectory for India to be benign. CPI numbers for March 23 could be even lower than 5 per cent, if July CPI numbers are closer to 6.5 per cent-6.6 per cent, a likely possibility. "We believe inflation in FY23 is likely to come around 6.4-6.5 per cent (below <keyword id="30067" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="rbi" source="Orion">RBI</keyword> projection of 6.7 per cent) with inflation moving below 6 per cent only in November 22. For FY24, it should come at 4.8 per cent," the report said.
