According to the company, Bing will now craft AI-generated stories that provide you with multiple ways to consume "bite-sized information through text, images, video, and audio". "Stories are perfect for visual and auditory learners, and they are available to all Bing users in English, French, Japanese, German, Spanish, Russian, Dutch, Italian, Portuguese, Polish and Arabic," said Microsoft. The stories are similar to the ones you will see on social media platforms like Instagram or <keyword id="6358096" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="snapchat" source="Orion">Snapchat</keyword>. The company is also upgrading its 'Knowledge Cards' that appear on the right-hand side of the Bing search results page. These are designed to help users explore topics that interest them with facts, image-based timelines, polls, actions, and related topics. "We've expanded the richness and breadth of knowledge cards supported by Bing using generative AI," said the company. Additionally, the company has addressed some known issues with Bing chat, including making it easier for users to copy chat text from the Bing mobile app on iOS. It is improving voice detection in the Bing mobile app so messages aren't sent before users are done speaking. "We are fixing cases where Bing search queries would inadvertently trigger a chat with the same query when you scroll up," said the Microsoft team. Microsoft adds 'AI-generated stories' to its Bing search

LVM3 was launched from <keyword id="6356967" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="satish-dhawan-space-centre" source="Orion">Satish Dhawan Space Centre</keyword> in Sriharikota at around 9 AM. "LVM3 standing 43.5 metres tall and weighing 643 tonnes lifted off from the second launch pad rocket port carrying OneWeb's final instalment of 36 Gen1 satellites", said the officials. Reportedly, the LVM3 is a three-stage rocket with the first stage fired with liquid fuel, the two strap-on motors powered by solid fuel, the second by liquid fuel and the third is the cryogenic engine. "Just over 19 minutes after the rocket's take off, the process of satellite separation will begin. The separation of 36 satellites will happen in a phased manner", as informed by the officials. Earlier social media handle of OneWeb satellite communications company and a partner in this mission took to Twitter and said, "Our golden 'Hello World' mission patch for this launch reflects our initiation of global coverage this year". One Web also mentioned the importance of collaboration between the UK and Indian space industries. One Web further tweeted, "OneWebLaunch18 will see us launch 36 satellites with @isro and @NSIL_India from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota, India. This mission marks OneWeb's second satellite deployment from India, highlighting the collaboration between the UK and Indian space industries". In the year 2022 on October 23, ISRO launched 36 satellites of OneWeb. It was the first satellite deployment collaboration between the two organizations. ISRO launches India's largest LVM3 rocket from Sriharikota

The gross gaming revenue of fantasy sports companies is expected to increase by 30 to 35%, taking it to ₹2,900-3,100 crore during 2023. The report predicts that the average revenue per user (ARPU) will increase from ₹410 during IPL 2022 to ₹440 per user during IPL 2023. In 2022, fantasy sports companies earned a gross gaming revenue of ₹2,260 crore, up from ₹1,460 crore in 2021, registering a growth of 55%. In 2022, IPL recorded a viewership of 400 million TV viewers. In 2022, 50% of the transacting users were from tier-2 cities and 31% from tier-3 and beyond cities. IPL 2023 to drive fantasy sports companies to ₹2,900-3,100 crore revenue, fueled by Tier-2 cities and exciting prizes

The Indian Council of Medical Research (<keyword id="6364396" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="icmr" source="Orion">ICMR</keyword>) has come up with the country's first Ethical Guidelines for the Application of Artificial Intelligence in Biomedical Research and <keyword id="6354525" type="General" weightage="100" keywordseo="healthcare" source="Orion">Healthcare</keyword> to provide an ethical framework for the development of <keyword id="6355999" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="ai" source="Orion">AI</keyword>-based tools which will benefit all stakeholders. According to a document drafted by the Department of Health Research and ICMR's Artificial Intelligence Cell, AI for health, to a large extent, depends on data obtained from human participants and invokes additional concerns related to potential biases, data handling, interpretation, autonomy, risk minimization, professional competence, data sharing, and confidentiality. "It is therefore imperative to have an ethical framework that addresses issues specific to AI for biomedical research and healthcare," the guidelines stated. The adoption of AI technology in healthcare is growing in India. However, AI as data-driven technology has many potential ethical challenges which include algorithmic transparency and explainability, clarity on liability, accountability and oversight, bias and discrimination, said ICMR Director General Dr Rajiv Behl. "The DHR-ICMR AI Cell has identified the need to develop these guiding ethical principles concerning artificial intelligence and machine learning-based tools. "These guidelines will provide the ethical framework for the development of AI-based tools which will benefit all stakeholders, including innovators, developers, patients, technologists, researchers, healthcare professionals, ethics committees, sponsors and funding agencies involved in research related to AI in biomedical research and healthcare," he said. NTAGI chief Dr N K Arora said the purpose of the guideline is to provide an ethical framework which can assist in the development, deployment, and adoption of AI-based solutions for biomedical research and healthcare delivery. The guidelines are intended for all stakeholders involved in research on artificial intelligence in healthcare, including creators, developers, technicians, researchers, clinicians, ethics committees, institutions, sponsors, and funding organizations. It includes separate sections addressing ethical principles for AI in health, guiding principles for stakeholders, the ethics review process, governance of artificial intelligence for healthcare and research, and the informed consent process involving human participants and their data. The guideline has been formulated after extensive discussions with subject experts, researchers and ethicists, said Dr Arora. The induction of AI into healthcare has the potential to be the solution for significant challenges like diagnosis and screening, therapeutics, preventive treatments, clinical decision-making, public health surveillance, complex data analysis, and predicting disease outcomes. This list is likely to grow in the future, the document said. The purpose of these guidelines is not to limit innovation or recommend any disease-specific diagnostic or therapeutic approach but to guide effective yet safe development, deployment and adoption of AI-based technologies in biomedical research and healthcare delivery, it said. These guidelines will be used by experts and ethics committees reviewing research proposals involving the use of AI-based tools and technologies. ICMR comes up with first ethical guidelines for application of AI in biomedical research, healthcare

Electric vehicles (EV) financing digital platform <keyword id="12028811" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="revfin-services" source="Orion">RevFin Services</keyword> is targeting to finance 20 lakh vehicles in the next five years, with an aim to grow three to four times every year, according to its CEO &amp; Founder <keyword id="1116564" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="sameer-aggarwal" source="Orion">Sameer Aggarwal</keyword>. With the Indian electric vehicle industry poised for an accelerated growth, he said the company is confident of meeting its target and would continue to raise funds through debt and equity going forward for the purpose. "From a long-term perspective we have taken a very strong position on EVs, and we have committed to financing two million electric vehicles in the next five years," <keyword id="11517" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="aggarwal" source="Orion">Aggarwal</keyword> told PTI. Asked if the target is not too steep, considering <keyword id="6952105" type="General" weightage="100" keywordseo="revfin" source="Orion">RevFin</keyword> has financed 17,118 EVs in the last 51 months, he said,"The monthly loan disbursement is growing month-on-month by about 15 per cent. So overall, it has grown almost four times in the last one year. If we continue the kind of growth that we are currently on we will actually achieve these numbers." In 2023-24, the company is looking at financing around 50,000 EVs. "The following year we would do three to four times of that. Obviously, a lot of those numbers will be achieved after the year-two or year-three, but there is a 3-4x growth that we are experiencing," Aggarwal asserted. RevFin has also expanded its portfolio from primarily financing electric rickshaws earlier, adding electric two-wheelers, high speed electric three-wheelers and four-wheelers as well, he added. Apart from offering financing to products of a slew of EV makers, RevFin also has strategic partnerships with manufacturers, including Kinetic Green, Yatri, Saarthi, Mayuri, Lectrix, <keyword id="195740" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="hero-electric" source="Orion">Hero Electric</keyword>, and <keyword id="272382" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="piaggio" source="Orion">Piaggio</keyword> among others. When asked about the funding requirements, he said,"Capital is the raw material for us. We are always raising capital in equity and debt." While the company raises debt capital almost every month, Aggarwal said,"Equity we raise 12 to 18 months, which will continue. Every 12 to 18 months we'll be raising equity and then we'll be raising debt to leverage that equity." In October last year, the company had raised USD 10 million (over Rs 80 crore) in a Series A round of funding. As part of its growth strategy, the company plans to expand its presence to around 25 states from the current 16 and take its footprint to about 300 cities, up from around 200 cities at present. Most of these will be focussed for electric two and three-wheelers while for electric four-wheelers it will be in the bigger cities, he added.
