Silva, a 27-year-old tattoo artist and YouTuber, said in Tuesday's video that he was "being forced to confront the fact that this accident resulted in the death of one of my best friends." On May 10, 2020, Silva was driving a sports car in Los Angeles with La Barrie in the front seat when he crashed into a tree, killing his friend, <a href="https://da.lacounty.gov/media/news/man-sentenced-killing-passenger-valley-village-crash">according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office</a>. La Barrie was 25 years old. Silva pleaded guilty to one felony count of gross vehicular manslaughter and was sentenced in August to 364 days in jail, five years of formal probation, and 250 hours of community service.
