Since childhood, the park's rides, ambiance, and over presentation really make it the most magical place on earth. But as deep as my love for all things Disney may run, my love for cars run even deeper. Fans will attend Conor McGregor's comeback as the UFC allows spectators into its upcoming Fight Island festival

<p class="source"><span>Etihad</span></p><p class="caption">Etihad Airways Airbus A380.</p>On Sunday, the Department of Homeland Security announced that it has lifted the large electronics ban on US-bound non-stop flights from Abu Dhabi International Airport in the United Arab Emirates.<p>The removal of <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/us-government-laptop-ban-effect-today-what-we-know-2017-3" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">restrictions placed upon the airport in March</a> is effective immediately.</p><p>This move comes days after<a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/dhs-tsa-trump-administration-announce-sweeping-changes-airline-safety-2017-6" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"> Secretary of Homeland Security John Kelly announced</a> a series of sweeping new airport security measures.</p><p>According to <a href="https://twitter.com/SpoxDHS" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">DHS spokesman David Lapan</a>, Abu Dhabi International Airport, home to Etihad Airways, was able to quickly comply with the new security requirements.</p><p><span>"Etihad Airways &amp; Abu Dhabi International Airport have implemented the required initial enhanced security measures. (Personal electronic device) restriction lifted," <a href="https://twitter.com/SpoxDHS/status/881559648461082624" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Lapan announced on Twitter</a>. "Kudos to Etihad Airways for swift security changes. Passengers will now be able to bring PEDs into the cabin of their US-bound flights."</span></p><p>According to Etihad, the only airline with non-stop flights to the US from Abu Dhabi, the ban was lifted after DHS officials were able to validate the new security measures at the airline's terminal.</p><p>Abu Dhabi along with Shannon and Dublin in Ireland are the only airports outside of North America and the Caribbean to have a DHS preclearance facility. That means passengers on Etihad flights to the US are screened by DHS officials prior to boarding in Abu Dhabi. So when they arrive at their destination in the US, the passengers are treated the same as if they had been on a domestic flight. The establishment of additional preclearance locations is one of the key points in Secretary Kelly's plan.</p><p>In a statement to Business Insider, Etihad wrote:</p><p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span>"We welcome the decision by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to lift the electronic devices ban on flights between Abu Dhabi and the United States, following the successful validation of security measures at the U.S. Preclearance facility at Abu Dhabi airport earlier today (July 2, 2017). Effective immediately, the removal of the restrictions allows passengers flying to the U.S. to carry all laptops, tablets, and other electronic devices onto the aircraft, subject to enhanced security measures. In an emotional reunion, a 76-year-old man who left <keyword id="3658" type="COUNTRY" weightage="20" keywordseo="India">India</keyword> and went to <keyword id="3001" type="COUNTRY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Pakistan">Pakistan</keyword> nearly 50 years ago has met with his two siblings in the UAE's capital Abu Dhabi. <br /><br /> <keyword id="3380092" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Hamza-Sarkar">Hamza Sarkar</keyword>, who is now a Pakistani citizen , met with his brother <keyword id="3380093" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="TP-Mammikutty">TP Mammikutty</keyword>, 75, and sister Eyyathu, 85, both from Kerala. He flew from Karachi while Mammikutty and Eyyathu came from Kerala for the reunion in Abu Dhabi. <br /><br />

	Sarkar had gone missing first time from Kerala in 1951 when he was 11 years old, Gulf News reported. 
<br /><br />

	"He was fond of travelling. One day our mother sent him out to graze the cattle. He never returned," Mammikutty said. Sarkar boarded a train to Kolkata. 
<br /><br />

	"From Kolkata I went to Bangladesh , which was then part of Pakistan. Later I went to Karachi," Sarkar said. 
<br /><br />

	After 18 years, he returned home in 1968. 
<br /><br />

	"I risked my life and slipped through the borders near Rajasthan in India. I walked for three weeks and finally took a bus to Hyderabad. I wrote a letter to my mother and she sent me money for a train ticket to Kerala," Sarkar said. 
<br /><br />

	In the hope that he will stay, Sarkar's family set up a grocery shop for him but he ventured out again after nine months on the pretext of buying supplies and never returned. 
<br /><br />

	"That was the last we saw him. I still remember how my mother used to keep his picture under her pillow and would cry all night," Iyyathu said. 
<br /><br />

	After 48 years, Sarkar's family traced him in Karachi when his daughter Aasiya living in Pakistan and Mammikutty's Abu Dhabi-based grandson Nadirshah, 23, connected on Facebook. 
<br /><br />

	"I never thought I would see my brother and sister in this lifetime. I have waited for this moment for so long and now I do not want to leave them and go to Pakistan," Sarkar said.

<p><div class="KonaFilter image-container display-table float_right"><div><div class="image on-image"></div><p></p></div></div>Abu Dhabi (AFP) - The Gulf emirate of Abu Dhabi offered a peek Sunday of several artworks that will be displayed at its Guggenheim museum, set to open in 2017.</p>
<p>Visitors got a glimpse of 19 out of the 200 artworks acquired by oil-rich Abu Dhabi that will be on public display from Wednesday until January.</p>
<p>US architect Frank Gehry designed the Abu Dhabi Guggenheim, which will be larger than its counterparts in New York, Berlin, Bilbao, Las Vegas, and Venice.</p>
<p>The exhibition "Seeing through Light: Selections from the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi Collection" features artworks by 19 international artists from the 1960s until present day that explore the theme of light.</p>
<p>It showcases works by contemporary artists from the United States, Europe and the Middle East, including Larry Bell, Dan Flavin, Robert Irwin, Douglas Wheeler and Keith Sonnier.</p>
<p>Works by German artist Otto Piene, founder of the Düsseldorf-based experimental artist group ZERO, as well as those by Japanese avant-garde artist Yayoi Kusama, are among the pieces acquired by the museum.</p>
<p>"This group of artworks illuminates the creative vision of the future museum, offers the first glimpse of what is to come, and represents a significant milestone in the evolution of the new museum," organisers said in a statement posted on the Guggenheim website.</p>
<p>Last month the emirate, aiming to become a leader in the world of fine art, announced it would showcase masterpieces by Leonardo da Vinci and Vincent van Gogh, which will be among 300 works dating back to antiquity displayed at the Louvre Abu Dhabi.</p>
<p>The museum -- part of a collaboration that saw Abu Dhabi pay $520 million (415 million euros) just to use the name of Paris' world famous gallery -- is set to open in December next year.</p>
<p>Abu Dhabi is engaged in an ambitious development plan aimed at modernising the emirate and diversifying its economy.</p>

(Eds: Updating with fresh details) <p>Dubai, May 7 () The first of the two flights from the UAE carrying 177 Indian nationals left for Kerala on Thursday, as India began its biggest ever repatriation exercise to bring back its citizens stranded abroad amidst the international travel lockdown over the coronavirus pandemic.</p><p>A total of 354 Indian nationals, including 11 pregnant women and a pair of twins, will return home on Thursday in the  two flights from the UAE to Kerala as part of the repatriation exercise named 'Vande Bharat Mission.'</p><p>The Air India Express flight IX452 took off from Abu Dhabi to Kochi, which will be followed by a Dubai-Kozhikode flight of the same airline.</p><p>Passengers started arriving at Abu Dhabi and Dubai airports as early as 9.30am on Thursday. Some of the passengers were carrying the Indian flags.</p><p>Indian Ambassador Pavan Kapoor was seen enquiring about the procedure from some of the passengers undergoing medical screening at the Abu Dhabi airport.</p><p>"Kudos to all the passengers for waiting patiently for their turn for medical screening and many thanks to all the frontline health workers and airport staff for extending full support," the Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi tweeted. </p><p>There are no suspected COVID-19 cases among the first batch of passengers being repatriated on Thursday.</p><p>"All of them have cleared the tests," Consul General of India in Dubai Vipul was quoted as saying by the Gulf News.</p><p>He said the criteria of passengers' selection included medical cases, loss of jobs, pregnant women and senior citizens. Those with complications and financial issues were also picked.</p><p>On Monday, the Indian government announced plans to begin a phased repatriation of its citizens stranded abroad from May 7. The government also said that Air India will operate 64 flights from May 7 to May 13 to bring back around 15,000 Indian nationals stranded abroad amid the COVID-19-induced lockdown.</p><p>Short-listing the first passengers from among a database of more than 200,000 applicants, who include around 6,500 pregnant women, has been a mammoth task which posed several challenges for the missions, Neeraj Agrawal, Consul, Press, Information and Culture at the Indian Consulate in Dubai told the Gulf News.</p><p>India is conducting its biggest ever repatriation exercise named Vande Bharat Mission-sans social distancing and COVID-19 tests to bring back stranded Indians from abroad.</p><p>The Indian missions in the UAE finalised the list of passengers, who were chosen based on the compelling reasons they submitted while registering their names.</p><p>"Only passengers with confirmed tickets must proceed to the airport. They are required to reach the airport five hours prior to departure," Agrawal said.</p><p>The Indian Consulate had appealed to passengers not to overcrowd the airport, maintain social distancing and follow all necessary precautions stipulated by the authorities</p><p>Air India crew members on board the repatriation flights will be fully protected with protective gear, including Personal Protective Equipment, to reduce the risk of contracting coronavirus, Khaleej Times reported.</p><p>The Indian expatriate community of approximately 3.42 million is reportedly the largest ethnic community in the UAE constituting roughly about 30 per cent of the country's population, according to information available on the Indian Embassy website.</p>India imposed a nationwide lockdown to curb the spread of the coronavirus in the country, grounding all international flights since mid-March.
