The company says that this NFT is the first step towards its ambition of taking Bollywood to the metaverse. The company has partnered with the famed Cope Studio — which was recently acquired by Polygon — to create these cutting-edge NFTs. Chulbul Pandey NFT holders will also get exclusive access to special Bollywood virtual events in the Metaverse. “Metaverse is the next frontier across industries. Given its immense scope, it is inevitable that it comprises all the elements that can enhance the Bollywood experience for our movie-buff nation.  Salman on Wednesday morning took to <keyword id="819905" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Instagram">Instagram</keyword> to share a picture with his Dabangg 3 director Prabhudeva. "Chulbul Pandey is coming to you on December 20 in Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, and Telugu," the 53-year-old superstar tweeted, announcing Dabangg 2. Khan and Prabhudheva reunited for this project after Wanted in 2009. Dabangg 3 will launch a fresh face - Saiee -- the daughter of actor-filmmaker Mahesh Manjrekar. The budding actress will play the love interest of superstar Salman Khan's character, Chulbul Pandey. In the last ten years, Khan has many superhits tucked under his belt like Ek Tha Tiger, and its sequel Tiger Zinda Hai, Dabangg series, besides Sultan and Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Both Dabangg and Dabangg 2 have earned as much as ₹100 crores. The first movie of the series Dabangg was the highest opener of all time in the country with a collection of ₹145 million, and it collected a total of ₹2.19 billion. Dabangg 2 was able to gross ₹127 crore within ten days of its release.

According to a <a href="https://www.gemini.com/state-of-crypto">report</a> by crypto exchange <keyword id="6358520" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="gemini" source="Orion">Gemini</keyword>, over 54% of respondents from India were first-time investors in cryptocurrencies over the past year. The country ranked ahead of Brazil and Hong Kong, each of which had 51% of respondents saying they were first-time investors over the past year. The company surveyed about 30,000 individuals in 20 countries between November 2021 and February 2021, which includes 1706 respondents from India, 1700 from Brazil, and 1105 from Hong Kong. <cmsannotation type="cmsannotation" annotationid="wazirx" comment="wazirx" text="wazirx">wazirx</cmsannotation> Further, the report also said that 41% of all respondents across the world were “crypto curious”. These are people “who do not currently own crypto, but are either interested in learning more or say they are likely to acquire cryptocurrency in the next year”, the report said. “Compared to other regions, nations in Europe had a high number of crypto-curious respondents. Ireland led among the crypto-curious with 58% saying they are interested in learning more about crypto or purchasing crypto in the coming year,” the report said. Perhaps an even more interesting nugget is that 47% of the respondents who planned to buy crypto for the first time in the next year were women. And amongst these respondents, “at least half” of the women were from developing nations like Israel, Indonesia, and Nigeria. “Conversely, in developed countries and regions, only a third of current crypto owners are women, including in the United States (32%), Europe (33%), and Australia (27%), said the report. Additionally, the report noted that users are more likely to seek education about cryptocurrencies now. 40% of the respondents globally said that more educational resources on cryptocurrency would help them get started in the industry; a stark difference from yesteryears when users were investing in crypto based on recommendations from friends. Only 22% of the respondents said they would take advice from friends for investing in crypto. India leads in the total number of first-time crypto investors in the last three months, according to a new report

<ul><li>During FY22, FIIs sold ₹1.40 lakh crore in equities compared to last year when it was a net buyer of ₹2.74 lakh crore.</li><li>Meanwhile, DIIs were net buyers of ₹1.26 lakh crore in first eleven months of FY22 compared to net net sale of ₹39,000 crore last year.</li><li>Markets do not seem to be intimidated by the selling spree of foreign investors as domestic investors have been at the rescue like never before.</li></ul>Indian equity markets have faced a myriad of challenges in the financial year that just ended (FY22), but it not only managed to survive, but thrive throughout the journey. Markets were resilient despite foreign institutional investors (FIIs) selling a huge amount of equities i.e., ₹1.40 lakh crore in FY22 compared to last year when it was a net buyer of ₹2.74 lakh crore. Since January 2022 till date, it has sold ₹10.13 lakh crore in Indian equities. All this because of the unexpected pandemic that hit the country badly followed by another event that escalated inflation in the country -- Russia-Ukraine war -- and most importantly because of monetary tightening in the US, which makes the US debt market more attractive to FIIs. And hence the huge sell-off. Apparently, this is one of the worst outflows from India by FIIs in many years. Despite this, Indian markets outperformed global peers including the US and UK during the financial year as Nifty 50 surged 19%. DIIs were net buyers of ₹1.26 lakh crore in first eleven months of FY22 compared to net net sale of ₹39,000 crore last year. Domestic Institutional Investors are institutions like insurance companies, mutual fund houses, pension funds, or provident funds. The constant surge in systematic investment plan (SIP) inflows is among reasons markets have been offsetting most of the selling pressure from foreign investors as every market correction is seen as an investment opportunity. The mutual fund industry has 5.17 crore SIP accounts with SIP assets under management (AUM) at ₹5.49 trillion as of February 2022. Apart from domestic institutional investors, retail and high-net worth individuals also played their part. Tapering by the US Fed refers to when the Fed gradually decreases the asset purchase every month that it did to boost economic growth. “We are witnessing consistent buying by domestic investors in the face of unprecedented selling by foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) during rare and extreme fear-inducing events seen over the past few years (COVID pandemic, Russia-Ukraine conflict, monetary tightening). This is a clear positive surprise and heralds the structural deepening of domestic savings into equities in India. Such behaviour of aggressive buying during declining stock prices by domestic investors should result in improved long-term outcomes for their portfolios vs buying in a high-optimism phase of the market, and thereby setting off a virtuous cycle,” said Axis Mutual Fund. The film also features Kannada superstar Kichcha Sudeep in as the villain. Good profits, bad story This is the third installment of the much loved character Chulbul Pandey, a role that catapulted him to a star reviving his then flailing career in 2010. The movie takes viewers back to reveal a secret making it a prequel of sorts. However, the Khan magic might have faded this time, as critics remained unimpressed. They labelled it a “disaster”. “Watching Dabangg 3 it’s clear that the law of diminishing returns has caught up with this franchise. The movie which was released a week ago, grossed ₹126.65 crore as of now. It had collected ₹7 crore more on its first day than Good Newwz but might struggle to retain audience amidst competition. However, as of now Good Newwz’s total collection is half the business of the Khan movie. “The trend over the weekend is strong and the film (Good Newwz) should be able to hold up well on Monday and then take benefit of the holiday factor on Tuesday and Wednesday,” reported Box office India. Police, protests and Salman Khan Though Akshay and Salman starrers did not release on the same day, second week collection is key to Dabangg’s success. Its first week earnings were marred by anti CAA protests across the country - replete with section 144, bundhs and internet shutdowns. Dabangg3 which earned ₹73 crore on its first weekend, could have earned ₹85 crore if not for the protests, <a href="https://www.boxofficeindia.com/report-details.php?articleid=5755">experts believe</a>. The anger against police cracking down on university students also did not bring footfalls to watch the cop caper. The third installment of the movie which tells the backstory of Chulbul Pandey, also suffered from a weak script. After watching him as Bajrangi in the <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/Bajrangi-Bhaijaan-the-highest-grosser-of-2015/articleshow/48145585.cms">blockbuster hit Bajrangi Bhaijaan</a>, it’s time to see <keyword id="6354583" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Salman-Khan">Salman Khan</keyword> doing what he does the best, that is, being Prem for director <keyword id="146044" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Sooraj-Barjatya">Sooraj Barjatya</keyword>. 
 We all know that for all <keyword id="40284" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="rajshri">Rajshri</keyword> Pictures that he has done, Salman has been given the character of Prem, who is more or less the same guy. He is overtly sweet, a die-hard romantic and loves being around his family. Therefore, it would be no wonder if his character Prem, from the upcoming Rajshri movie <keyword id="2133234" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Prem-Ratan-Dhan-Payo">Prem Ratan Dhan Payo</keyword> would be the same, but hey, we are not complaining, because that would be any day better than a certain Chulbul Pandey or a Devil. 
 
The last we saw Salman Khan, or should we say heard, was when he crooned a song for his production <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/Salman-Khan-lends-his-voice-to-protg-Sooraj-Pancholi-for-Hero/articleshow/48376803.cms">Hero</a>. 
 
There has been quite a buzz about the movie which would make the comeback of Salman as Prem after a good gap of 16 years, because the last we saw him as Rajshri’s Prem was in Hum Saath Saath Hain, which came out in 1999. Barring a few behind the scene clicks from the sets, we know nothing of the character of a royal prince that Khan would be playing in the movie. There also have been reports that he would be seen playing a double role in the movie, of Prem, a prince and that of Ratan, a commoner. 
 
To confirm at least one part of the story, the makers have launched the first look of Salman’s character in the movie, and true to the word, he does look like a prince, albeit we are not shown his face but just his back as he stands with his arms wide open. 
 
This has come after the <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/Prem-Ratan-Dhan-Payo-logo-release-An-upcoming-trend-in-Bollywood/articleshow/48693255.cms">logo of the movie was released</a> by Salman Khan on microblogging site Twitter. 
 
Donning a royal blue kurta, a white dhoti and a golden stole, he stands in front of what looks like a Haveli, and announces to the world of the launch of the first trailer, which comes out on October 1st. 
 
The movie itself would come around Diwali this year, making it the first of at least two confirmed consecutive Diwali releases for Salman Khan, the second one being Sultan, which would come out in <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/Salman-Khan-avoids-Box-office-clash-with-good-friend-Shah-Rukh-Khan/articleshow/48265347.cms">Diwali 2016</a>.

lip-syncing has gone viral like never before

Just two days ago, the faith of Indian citizens was restored on their judiciary. But, the faith was shattered when Salman secured a bail. Now, it's beyond conclusion that ‘Bhai’ has bloody hands. A convict is a convict. 
 After seeing several high profile politicians and actors (remember <keyword id="7645" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Sanjay-Dutt">Sanjay Dutt</keyword>?) bite the dust and get behind the bars for the crimes they had committed, when judiciary reigned supreme, people had heaved a sigh of relief. It was a very emotional moment for the fans of <keyword id="6354583" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Salman-Khan">Salman Khan</keyword> to see their beloved ‘Bhai’ being convicted of a crime he committed 13 good years ago. Now, now the ‘fate’, luck and numerology obsessed <keyword id="143" type="CITY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Bollywood">Bollywood</keyword> would believe that the Chulbul Pandey who beat up all baddies in his superhit ‘Dabangg’ would have fought his bad luck too. The number 13, isn’t it considered unlucky? 2015 was the 13th year after a man was crushed under the wheels of Salman’s swanky car on that drunken night. The dead one was a poor labourer. A non-descript one. He was the one who came to probably carry bricks and cement bags for that bangla to be built by a crorepati realtor, or run errands for a rich landlord. Whatever, it be; when he was gone, no one noticed that he was gone. Because the cameras were trained on the big bad ‘Bhai’, who was also known to have a golden <keyword id="24479" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="heart">heart</keyword>! 
 After all, <keyword id="2842361" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Salman-Bhai-Khan">Salman Bhai Khan</keyword> is the most eligible bachelor in the steaming hot Bollywood which gets a certain kind of high on cocaine, alcohol and certain kind of deaths. 
 
Well, it pays to be a hero. Because then, you don’t have to speak much. You can only wear your shades and look like you are actually mourning. Your fans will shed the tears for you, and dry their own; celebrate the fact that your bloody eyes are hiding well behind the dark UV-protected glasses that could have cost a small country’s entire GDP. Well, when you are ‘Bhai’ with a large heart, your own largesse and being ‘at large’ is just something you often do. 
 But, look this way. Salman may be out on bail. And, chances are when you hire a <keyword id="6356325" type="POSITION" weightage="20" keywordseo="Lawyer">lawyer</keyword> like Harish Salve, you may never ever (just as assertively as Arnab Goswamy says) and NEVER EVER have to even visit the prison again, let alone spending a few days there. You can entirely forget about spending the sentence duration. Five years? Are you kidding us? Well, well, who told those lowly labourers to sleep on the <keyword id="6429269" type="ENTERTAINMENT" weightage="20" keywordseo="Pavement">pavement</keyword> for god’s sake? 
 What, wait! <keyword id="51958" type="ENTERTAINMENT" weightage="20" keywordseo="YES">Yes</keyword>, why do majority of Mumbai’s labourers sleep on the pavement and get run over by cars? Do we know something about the man who died? Where was he working? Who had hired him? What was he working as? Did we hear anybody claim he was family or even a hired help? 
 
The problem with a large migrant city like Mumbai is, life is cheap and death? That’s even cheaper. A working man, so long as he is working, is worth some value in currency. When he becomes a liability, there is no mercy left. Didn’t the city authorities run a background check into those labourers? Why they were not provided some shelter by whoever was using their services? 
 Why have we become so complacent about people who slave themselves and waste away on footpaths and pavements? Remember <keyword id="20399" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Arshad-Warsi">Arshad Warsi</keyword>’s ‘Jolly LLB’? There is a touching scene in the film when while arguing for a poor labourer who died, and others who were injured and silenced by the system, Warsi stands up for them. He is chided by his opponent who says the fault is of those who sleep on the footpaths. Because they are not meant for sleeping. 
 Four stars for the <keyword id="202636" type="POSITION" weightage="20" keywordseo="script-writer">script writer</keyword> who says “Yes, the footpaths are not for sleeping. But they are not for driving either!” Applause! Applause! 
The film wastes a golden opportunity to throw light on another aspect. That of migration labourers. Where do they come from? Who are they? Why do they live a lowly life? 
 
Reality is, they come to toil in our houses. Build our gated communities, with swimming pool, club house and shopping mall. They never get to even understand what goes on inside these swanky places. They are the forbidden clan. They are apologies to the society. They are embarrassments which have to be swept under the carpet. 
 
Because, unless they are dead, their existence has no value. And once they are dead, they just remain statistics. Nothing more, nothing less. Authorities will not even feel guilty about having murdered them. 
 In more ways than one, Salman is not the only ‘Macbeth’ in Bollywood with bloody hands. There are more like him. Whether it is Bacchan’s relative <keyword id="45587" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Sanjeev-Nanda">Sanjeev Nanda</keyword>, industrialist Mahendra Khatau’s son <keyword id="34" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Manish">Manish</keyword>, <keyword id="38810" type="POSITION" weightage="20" keywordseo="hairdresser">hairdresser</keyword> Nooriya Haveliwalla, or <keyword id="271" type="POSITION" weightage="20" keywordseo="actor">actor</keyword> <keyword id="6357789" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Rajkumar">Rajkumar</keyword>’s son <keyword id="129043" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Puru">Puru</keyword> – they are lucky because they could buy lawyers. And the poor dead souls who died under these people’s rich didn’t have the luck smiling by them. 
Too bad.
