"Oh so I got strangled in my lights for nothing?" another wrote. <h2>Brown told Insider it only took her 10 minutes to light her 8-foot tree using this method</h2>Brown, who shares recipes, fashion, <keyword id="30873" type="PERSON" weightage="60" keywordseo="home-decor">home decor</keyword>, and DIY tips <a href="https://www.lizlovery.com/">on her website</a> and TikTok page, told Insider that she has an 8-foot Christmas tree in her <keyword id="6363870" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="home">home</keyword>."Last year, my fiancé and I did the traditional way that we usually do, just to spiral it around and I noticed that we needed two people because it was kind of like passing it over to the other side of the tree," Brown said."This year I tried this method and I was able to get the lights on by myself in less than 10 minutes. In 2022, the new year resolutions of young Indians today have far less favours to ask from the almighty. They want to tackle inflation, monitor health and balance their relationships instead. Business Insider India talked to a few youngsters to know their new year resolutions and here are some of the findings. ‘Become brand ambassador of revenge travel’ Rohan Singh, a 25-year-old working professional from Pune has only one resolution, to ‘become the brand ambassador of revenge travel’. There has been heightened optimism for travel reported in 2023. It looks like more young Indians want to keep up this trend of ‘seeing’ as much of the world outside their homes after spending some of the best years locked-in. But she intends to keep exploring, if only in other ways. “I wish to try more cuisines and different countries this year. Shedding those extra pounds is also on the list though!” she says. Take all my leaves at work: Work-life balance, health a priority According to a Bumble Report released this <a href="https://www.businessinsider.in/thelife/news/bumble-reveals-upcoming-dating-trends-in-2023/slidelist/96243427.cms">year,</a> fancy job titles and 40-plus work hours/ week are less tolerable now. Over the last year, more than half of youngsters (52%) are also actively creating more space for breaks and rest, the report states. Sukriti Shukla, a 27-year-old chief technical analyst working at a MNC in Delhi says, “I will utilise all my leaves this year and maintain a healthy work-life balance. Even though I want to keep hustling, a healthy work-life balance is non-negotiable for me now.” In an era of great resignation, Shreya Sarkar, a 26-year-old resident from Calcutta says, “My new year resolution is to not act like my employers are doing me a favour.” More than half of all the employees (57%) are unenthusiastic about or bored with their current jobs, according to an Indeed <a href="https://www.businessinsider.in/careers/news/over-half-of-the-employees-in-india-bored-with-their-current-jobs-indeed/articleshow/96428913.cms">report</a>. That's right…any of the things that your friend THUGS have stolen will be available for you!" the post read.The caption also said the individual will get accompanied to a jail facility by a "personal concierge" who is actually a correction officer and then get tested for coronavirus upon arrival. "If you pass your test, then your concierge will take you for a 'custom fitting' to receive your Holiday Jumpsuit with matching 'flap flops,'" the post said, according to the <keyword id="6355005" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="news">news</keyword> station. Myles also told the outlet that the "Thug Thursday" is posted to ask the community for help in finding wanted individuals.As AL.com's reported the post received thousands of comments of people disapproving the post. Myles told Insider that the viral post was deleted from Facebook after deputies received threats from people who do not live in the county. "We have removed the post because of all of the threatening messages that we have received. Death to our deputies and setting fire to our building. None of these threats were from our area or followers. This post was to show how successful law enforcement, the community, and social media helps to solve crimes," Myles told Insider in a statement on Saturday."Mugshots are public information and all of these were people that we were looking for with warrants," the statement continued. "Most of these knew we were looking for them and were hiding or running from us. "I have managed Miss Tyson's career for over 40 years, and each year was a privilege and blessing," Tyson's <a href="https://variety.com/2020/tv/news/cicely-tyson-dead-dies-1234895188/">manager Larry Thompson said in a statement to Variety</a>. "Cicely thought of her new memoir as a Christmas tree decorated with all the ornaments of her personal and professional life. Today she placed the last ornament, a Star, on top of the tree."Tyson published a memoir, titled "Just as I Am," at the beginning of 2021. A rare acting icon with a career that spanned more than 70 years, Tyson will be remembered as one of the Hollywood greats.<h2>From modeling to a theater career in the 1950s and '60s</h2><div type="image" title="Cicely Tyson AP Images 1" height="1499" width="1999" msid="80543625" hostid="261"></div>Cicely Tyson was born in New York City on December 19, 1924. Her parents had immigrated to the United States from Nevis, one of the Leeward Islands in the Caribbean. Tyson's mother, Theodosia, cleaned houses in the Bronx while her father worked as a carpenter and painter. "If you're raised in poverty, you know what it is to want a piece of bread," Tyson told The New York Times <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/1972/10/01/archives/cicely-the-looker-from-sounder-cicely-the-looker.html">in a 1972 interview.</a> "When I was 9 years old, I was selling shopping bags on the street. I know what it is to be with out. In an <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/1972/10/01/archives/cicely-the-looker-from-sounder-cicely-the-looker.html">interview with the New York Times</a>, Tyson made it clear that she wanted to prioritize roles that showed the full lived experiences of Black Americans."Okay, so we have prostitutes and pimps and con men and pushers, the way they show in those movies, but we also have mothers and fathers and doctors and lawyers and teachers and politicians," Tyson said. "A Black doctor was responsible for the first open heart surgery, and a black guy developed traffic lights, and little is known about that.""We have contributed a great deal to this country, but what's being projected is a very negative image, and not necessarily a projec tion of the truth," she continued. "I stopped going to see those blaxploitation films ... But that year Liza Minellelli won best actress for "Cabaret," and Tyson had to wait until she was 94 years old to receive an honorary Oscar at the 2018 Academy Awards.In 1974, Tyson landed the role of the title character in "The Autobiography of Miss Jane Pittman," a TV series based on the novel by Ernest J.
