<ul class="summary-list"><li>Deanna Daughtry addressed rumors surrounding her daughter's <keyword id="6355784" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="60" keywordseo="death" source="Orion">death</keyword> <keyword id="49112" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="60" keywordseo="investigation" source="Orion">investigation</keyword> in a Friday Instagram post.</li><li><keyword id="12575135" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="60" keywordseo="hannah-price" source="Orion">Hannah Price</keyword>, 25, was found dead in her Tennessee home on November 12.</li></ul><p><keyword id="12575134" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="60" keywordseo="chris-daughtry" source="Orion">Chris Daughtry</keyword>'s wife Deanna Daughtry recently spoke out about rumors concerning the death of her daughter Hannah Price.</p><p>Daughtry made an Instagram post on Friday where she stated that rumors of the 25-year-old's death being investigated as a homicide were "false." Insider <a href="https://www.insider.com/chris-daughtry-announces-death-of-his-daughter-hannah-2021-11">previously reported</a> that authorities found Price inside her Fentress County, Tennessee, home on November 12.</p><p>"The news floating around that we said our daughters death is being investigated as a homicide is false! "We were not told that and never said that to anyone!" Daughtry wrote." The day Hannah was found I shared some concerns I had with some people I know and said we won't know anything for sure till after they complete the investigation," she continued. "Someone took that and went running with it or they talked to someone else who then made assumptions and went running to the press with it."</p><p>"I lost my child and I'm having to now also deal with rumors and assumptions about her," Daughtry later stated in the post.</p><p>Daughtry also asked that people "'let the investigating officers do their jobs" and to "stop making it worse for those of us who love her by spreading rumors &amp; saying disgusting things about our family." </p><p>A November 15 press release obtained by Insider from Tennessee's 8th District Attorney Jared Effler stated that the case was currently "a death investigation and any attempt to classify it as a homicide investigation at this time is premature and irresponsible."</p><p>Effler also stated that no one has been arrested in connection to Price's death.</p><p>In a November 12 Instagram post, Chris Daughtry wrote that he was  "absolutely devastated and heartbroken" by his daughter's passing.</p><p>He added that he is "now taking time to be present with my family as we attempt to heal from this series of devastating losses."</p><p>A representative for Chris Daughtry told Insider, "We have no additional comments at this time." </p>

<ul class="summary-list"><li><strong>On Friday Chris Daughtry revealed that his 25-year-old daughter Hannah died.</strong></li><li><strong>Daughtry has postponed his upcoming tour dates in response. </strong></li></ul><p>"<keyword id="12528075" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="60" keywordseo="american-idol" source="Orion">American Idol</keyword>" alum Chris Daughtry said he's "heartbroken" after the "unexpected <keyword id="6355784" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="60" keywordseo="death" source="Orion">death</keyword>" of his 25-year-old daughter, Hannah.</p><p>The "Superman" singer announced the <keyword id="11893589" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="60" keywordseo="news" source="Orion">news</keyword> in a Facebook <a href="https://www.facebook.com/photo?fbid=454616652691473&amp;set=a.2868323394699069906">post</a> on Friday. </p><p>"Due to the unexpected death of Chris and Deanna Daughtry's daughter, Hannah, all currently scheduled shows this weekend for Daughtry have been postponed," the statement read. </p><p>"The Daughtry family thanks you for understanding and respectfully asks for privacy during this very difficult time. Further details will be made available at a later date. The investigation into this tragic death is still on going," it continued. </p><p>A representative for Daughtry told Insider that Hannah was found dead inside her Fentress County, Tennessee, home on November 12 by authorities. </p><p>Daughtry opened up about the death in an Instagram<a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/CWOiIyHv7Xb/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> post</a> that featured a photo of Hannah.</p><p>"I am still processing the last 24 hours. I am absolutely devastated and heartbroken," Daughtry, 41, wrote. "I just recently lost my mother to cancer but I was blessed with the chance to say goodbye and I was processing it privately. We never got to say goodbye to our precious Hannah and it's another huge hit to our family."</p><p>He added: "Hannah, I love you. I miss you. I wish I could hold you. This hurts so deeply." </p><p>On Saturday, Deanna Daughtry also spoke out with an Instagram <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/CWN__vOgao5/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;ig_rid=10dccc92-0f3f-4b39-bbfa-6c5ae131915b915b" target="_blank" rel="noopener">post</a> that included several photos of Hannah and the Daughtry family.</p><p>"My first born. I love you endlessly Hannah," Deanna wrote. "Our family would like to thank you all for the outpouring of love as we grieve the loss of our daughter Hannah." </p><p>Deanna added that the family was still awaiting the autopsy reports to determine Hannah's cause of death. </p><p>"Our hearts are broken," Deanna wrote. </p><p>Representatives for Chris Daughtry did not immediately respond to Insider's request for comment.</p><p>Daughtry and his wife were first married in 2000 and <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/CWIsjgSr_u9/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">recently celebrated their 21st wedding anniversary. </a>Deanna had Hannah and her eldest son, Griffin, during a <a href="https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0202322/bio" target="_blank" rel="noopener">previous relationship</a>. 'American Idol' has been such a vital part of Fox for its run. We spent a lot of time talking to producers about the future of 'American Idol' and collectively we all arrived at the conclusion that it was time to bring the show to an end," Fox's co-chairman and co-CEO, Gary Newman, said on a press call Monday morning.</p><p>"Idol" will return in January for its 15th and final season. <span style="line-height: 1.5em;">Host Ryan Seacrest and judges Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and Harry Connick, Jr. will return for the final season, which the network promises will be a suitable sendoff for the formerly groundbreaking competition.</span></p><p><span style="line-height: 1.5em;">"We really wanted to do it in a way that felt special and celebratory and treated the show the way it deserved to be treated. Next year is going to be a true season-long celebration," Newman said.
