The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the Class X results on Monday. The overall <keyword id="20123359" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="pass-percentage" source="keywords">pass percentage</keyword> of 93.60 per cent was recorded. Passing percentage has increased by 0.48 per cent since last year. 25724 schools gave the CBSE class X examinations at 7603 centres. The Trivandrum region registered the highest pass percentage at 99.75 per cent whereas the lowest has been recorded at Guwahati which stood at 77.94 per cent. In the overall Delhi region, a 98.61 per cent pass percentage was recorded. 94.75 per cent of Girls passed the exam whereas 92.71 per cent of boys passed the exam with the Girls outshining boys by 2.04 per cent. In regards to the Class 10 exams, CBSE stated that Science, Mathematics, and Social Science were chosen by 22,62,692 students each. These exams took place over three days at 7612 examination centres, utilising 94,279 rooms, with the assistance of 1,88,558 Assistant Superintendents. CBSE class X examinations were held from February 15 to March 13, 2024. Approximately 39 lakh students appeared for Class 10 and 12 examinations. Students must score a minimum of 33 per cent marks to pass the CBSE class 10 and 12 exams. Looking at the past year's trends, in 2023, the CBSE results were announced on May 12. While in the year 2022, it was declared on July 22. Earlier, CBSE declared Class XII. 87.98 per cent of students passed the board exams. Passing percentage increased by 0.65 per cent since last year. 18417 schools gave the CBSE class XII examinations at 7126 centres. This year the overall pass percentage is 87.98 a 0.65 percent increase since 2023. The Trivandrum region registered the highest pass percentage at 99.91 per cent. CBSE Class 10 board exam results declared

Girls have again outshone boys in the <keyword id="19976140" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="CBSE" source="keywords" meta.keywordsubtype="org" meta.entityname="CBSE" meta.hostid="261" meta.entityid="CBSE">CBSE</keyword> Class 12 <keyword id="19954615" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="board-exams" source="keywords">board exams</keyword>, results for which were declared on Monday with 87.98 per cent students passing the test. Last year, the total pass percentage was 87.33 per cent. Officials said 91.52 per cent girls cleared the <keyword id="19957604" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="exam" source="keywords">exam</keyword>, 6.40 percentage points higher than boys' pass percentage. "A total of 24,068 students have scored above 95 per cent marks while 1,16,145 students have scored above 90 per cent," an official said. More than 1.22 lakh candidates have been placed in 'compartment'. The number this year is slightly less than that of last year, the officials said. This time, more than 16.21 lakh candidates appeared for the exam which was conducted at 7,126 centres. Step 2: To pre-register click on the notification. Step 3: Fill in basic details like date of birth, school code, roll number, etc. After registration, the students will get the score on the app as soon as CBSE announces the result.

CBSE class 10th results: Google and Microsoft are helping students view their results

The CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) is expected to release the CBSE Class 10th Results sometime in the next week (2nd week of May 2019). Earlier there were wide spread speculations that the results might be out on May 5, 2019. However, the board has confirmed recently that the results of the CBSE 10th class exams will be declared soon in this week. The CBSE class 10th results can be checked on the official website of the Central Board of Secondary Education cbse.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in. Some other third party websites like examresults.in, indiaresults.com and results.gov.in also publish these results for the convenience of the candidates. In the academic year 2018-19, CBSE conducted the class 10th exams between February 21 and March 29, 2019. The official statistics released by the board says around 18.19 lakh students appeared for the CBSE 10th Board Exam 2019. During the last academic year 2017-18, CBSE announced the results on May 29, 2019 at 4pm. Approximately 16.38 lakh students appeared for the CBSE Class 10th Board Exams in 2018. The board said that the pass percentage for CBSE 2018 Class 10th Exams was 86.07%. About 88.67% girls and 85.32% boys passed in these examinations. In this year, a total number of 31,14,821 students appeared for the CBSE class 10 and class 12 board exams put together. CBSE Class 12th results were declared by the CBSE on May 2, 2019. Earlier there were speculations that the CBSE results for 12th class will be announced only in the third week of May 2019. In fact it came as a surprise to many people that the 12th class results were declared on Thursday, May 2, 2019. There were widespread talks that the CBSE class 10th results will be announced either on May 5 or May 6 2019. Ruling out such assumptions, CBSE public relations officer Rama Sharma said what has been circulated in the social media is only a fake news. And that the board will announce the schools and students regarding the date of declaration of results. In her message, she had stated, “It is to inform all principals, students, parents and public that the CBSE Class 10 results will not be declared today (May 5, 2019)” Sharma added in her message that CBSE will "duly inform students about the date, time and arrangements to access results, through official communication".
