Mumbai is set to experience a "Sky Full of Stars" moment as Coldplay fans from around the world prepare to descend upon the city for the band’s highly anticipated January 2025 concert. The return of the British pop-rock sensation, which hasn’t performed in India since 2016, already sent a wave of excitement among fans — most of whom paid a hefty price for the highly sought after tickets. And now, it’s time for the hoteliers in the city to mint money.<br /><br />The return of Coldplay seems to have triggered a surge in hotel bookings and accommodation searches. Now, TikTok wants in on that action.</p><p>After the monumental success of "BookTok" — a community of bibliophiles on the platform that discusses books and shares what they are reading — TikTok's parent company, ByteDance, started publishing digital books through its publishing company, <a target="_blank" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/tiktok-bytedance-may-form-book-publisher-8th-note-press-trademark-2023-5">8th Note Press</a>, last year.</p><p>8th Note Press is now teaming up with Zando, an independent publishing company, to release a line of print novels to sell in retail stores starting in 2025.</p><p>"This partnership marks an exciting new chapter for 8th Note Press," Jacob Bronstein, head of editorial and marketing, told Business Insider in a statement. "By joining forces with Zando, we'll be able to expand our reach and bring our amazing books to even more people in all the formats in which they love to read."</p><p>Molly Stern, Zando's founder and CEO, told BI that 8th Note's list of book titles "encompasses some of the freshest and fastest growing genres out there."</p><p>BookTok's viral videos have rocketed both new and experienced authors to fame over the last three years.</p><p>Sales of Colleen Hoover's 2016 romance novel "It Ends with Us," for instance, jumped 650% in 2021, <a target="_blank" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/how-authors-and-publishers-are-using-tiktok-to-sell-books-2022-2">selling 1.9 million copies</a> after going viral on TikTok five years after it was originally published.</p><p>Hoover's novel inspired a series of videos that garnered millions of views. In the videos, frustrated or desperate readers commented on the character's behavior in the book, often with emotional songs in the background, like Taylor Swift's "All Too Well."</p><p>Now TikTok looks to reverse the process: Watch trends online and print print books in response. </p><p>Zando told BI that 8th Note Press is focused on bringing a wide range of author voices to "millennial and Gen Z readers looking for stories that reflect their diverse experiences."</p><p>The company plans to release 10 to 15 books a year, with titles that focus on genres popular with younger TikTok users, like romance and young adult fiction, according to <a target="_blank" href="https://www.nytimes.com/2024/10/16/books/tiktok-bytedance-8th-note-press-print.html">The New York Times</a>.</p><p>Debut novelist Sanibel — who writes under a mononym — sold her book "To Have and Have More" to 8th Note Press last year. She told the Times that she initially worried her book would be "an e-book only situation, but was reassured when she learned about 8th Note's partnership with Zando.</p><p>"8th Note is a brand-new press, so I knew I was going to be a guinea pig to some degree," she told the outlet. "There's this very ambitious, building the airplane while it's flying kind of feel."</p>

On Monday, it announced that the highly-discussed list is becoming a collector's item.</p><p>"Apple Music: 100 Best Albums" is available for preorder, and the book's description said it's a limited release of only 1,500 copies. Apple came out with <a target="_blank" class="" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/apple-book-designed-by-apple-in-california-review-highlights-availability-price-2016-11">"Designed by Apple in California</a>" in 2016, which showed designs by former Apple design exec Jony Ive.</p><p>The 300-page book retailed for $199 for the small size and $299 for the large until it was discontinued in 2019 and was criticized for its price at the time. Business Insider's own 2016 review decided against spending $300 on it.</p><p>Years after it was pulled from shelves, the design book is going for over 10 times its original price, in some instances, on eBay. One seller had a brand new large book listed for $2,400 as of Tuesday morning.</p><p>Neither Apple nor Assouline immediately responded to a request for comment from BI. According to the site, the estimated shipping date for the new Apple Music book is January.</p><p>It's unclear if the profits from this drop will count toward revenue for <a target="_blank" class="" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/apple-earnings-service-growth-iphone-drop-antitrust-google-app-store-2024-5">Apple's Services</a> department. This department includes subscription-based services like Apple Music, and its sales have boomed in recent quarters.</p>

<ul class="summary-list"><li>"Dune: Prophecy" is a prequel series set in Frank Herbert's "Dune" universe.</li><li>The story is based both on "Dune" and the prequel novel "Sisterhood of Dune."</li></ul><p>If you spent a good chunk of <a target="_blank" class="" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/dune-explained-what-its-about-characters-movie-2020">Denis Villeneuve's "Dune"</a> films morbidly curious about the shady Bene Gesserit, you weren't the only one — so was Warner Bros.</p><p>Before the company behind HBO became <a target="_blank" class="" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/warner-bros-discovery-split-plan-hbo-max-reaction-2024-7">Warner Bros. Discovery after a merger</a>, it started development on a "Dune" prequel series focused on the politically savvy, supernaturally powered sect of women. After some staffing changes during the development process, a retitle, and a shift to air on the company's flagship cable channel HBO, we're finally left with "Dune: Prophecy."</p><p>The series takes place 10,000 years before the birth of <a target="_blank" class="" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/dune-character-guide-houses-explained-differences-from-novel-2021-10">Paul Atreides </a>(played by <a target="_blank" class="" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/timothee-chalamet-most-daring-red-carpet-looks-2022-6">Timothée Chalamet</a> in Villeneuve's films) and shortly after an event known as the <a target="_blank" class="" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/dune-prophecy-timeline-movies-butlerian-jihad-2024-11">Butlerian Jihad</a> (when humans rose up against, defeated, and ultimately banned thinking machines). It hones in on the origins of the <a target="_blank" class="" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/dune-movie-review-denis-villeneuve-adaptation-frank-herbert-2021-10">Bene Gesserit</a>, known at the time as the Sisterhood, and the political machinations of a young Empire.</p><p>If you're a true "Dune" fan who's read at least some of the franchise's auxiliary novels, this history should be vaguely familiar. "Dune: Prophecy" is partly based on Frank Herbert's seminal science fiction work and on "Sisterhood of Dune," a novel written by Herbert's son Brian Herbert and sci-fi author Kevin J. Anderson.</p><div type="image" title="Jessica Barden as Young Valya Harkonnen in &quot;Dune: Prophecy&quot;" height="1440" width="1920" msid="115401821" hostid="261" sizebytes="33744"></div><h2 id="1e6eccec-7f11-4afc-87ba-6605dab28ca0"><strong>'Sisterhood of Dune' is a prequel novel set in the 'Dune' universe</strong></h2><p>Frank Herbert's "Dune" novels compose only a small part of the franchise. Following his death in 1986, his son Brian and Anderson began publishing "Dune" prequel novels in 1999.</p><p>"Sisterhood of Dune" is part of the "Great Schools of Dune" prequel series written by the two, and it was published in 2012. It's set 83 years after humanity's victory over the thinking machines, and as the title suggests, covers the early days of the Sisterhood. </p><p>After Raquella Berto-Anirul survives a poisoning that unlocks her genetic memory, she becomes the first Reverend Mother. That process, dubbed the Spice Agony, killed a number of sisters who were unable to withstand the poison — but it eventually turned others into Reverend Mothers themselves.</p><p>Raquella trains Valya, a daughter of the war-disgraced Harkonnen family, and lets her in on the Sisterhood's tightest-held secret: It uses computer technology to keep track of the genetic database necessary for the organization's breeding program. (As established in the "Dune" movies, the ultimate goal of that breeding program was to produce a male Reverend Mother known as the Kwisatz Haderach — but for the purposes of this show, don't worry too much about that.)</p><p>The novel also features other characters including Manford Torondo, a leader in the anti-technology Butlerian movement, and Vorian Atreides, a war hero. From the royal family, there's Emperor Salvatore Corrino and his half-siblings Roderick and Anna. Valya's brother Griffin is also present, and there are mentions of her younger sister Tula, who features prominently in the show.</p><p>There's another important sister in the book as well: Doretea, who succeeds in becoming the second-ever Reverend Mother after Raquella. She and Valya are at odds, however, and Doretea puts the Sisterhood's mission in jeopardy by revealing the existence of its thinking machine to the Emperor. The sisterhood is forced to relocate and rebuild on the planet Wallach IX.</p><div type="image" title="Travis Fimmel as Desmond Hart in &quot;Dune: Prophecy&quot;" height="1440" width="1920" msid="115401825" hostid="261" sizebytes="70548"></div><h2 id="49dad0c0-be5c-42cf-afb4-0eb455979aba"><strong>'Dune: Prophecy' isn't an exact adaptation of 'Sisterhood of Dune'</strong></h2><p>While the television series draws significantly from the history presented in "Sisterhood," it shifts some things around and includes characters that aren't present in the novel. Those characters include Desmond Hart, a soldier who comes into conflict with the Sisterhood, and royal half-siblings Ynez and Constantine Corrino.</p><p>Executive producer Jordan Goldberg told Business Insider that the series was "sort of" based on the novel, and that while the team adhered to the "Dune" canon in some ways, it also attempted to "infuse some new angles" into the story.</p><p>"There are bits and pieces of various different characters and plot ideas that we've taken [from the book] and fused in our 30 years later story with the Emily Watson version of Valya Harkonnen," Goldberg said. "That story is sort of our invention."</p><p>The good news is that there's plenty of "Dune" to go around, should HBO decide to continue the story. Brian and Anderson have written multiple novel series that tread "Dune" history both pre- and post-Paul Atreides, the hero from Frank Herbert's novels and Villeneuve's film adaptation.</p><p>"We would love to keep telling this story as long as they let us," Goldberg said of a potential second season. "There's so much to explore, so many angles to go. <ul class="summary-list"><li>Uber's stock fell Thursday after the ride-share company reported mixed third-quarter results.</li><li>Gross bookings, or the dollar value of rides and deliveries, came in slightly below expectations.</li></ul><p>Uber took a hit Thursday after the <a target="_blank" class="" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/expedia-deal-could-push-uber-closer-khosrowshahi-super-app-vision-2024-10">ride-hailing and delivery company</a> reported mixed third-quarter results.</p><p>The company reported gross bookings of $41 billion in the quarter, up 16% from the same period last year. That figure, which represents the dollar value of rides and deliveries, came in slightly below Bloomberg analyst expectations of $41.3 billion.</p><p>The near miss, coupled with a slightly muted forecast for this current quarter, sent shares down more than 10%. </p><p>"It's really tough to gauge market expectations," <a target="_blank" class="" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/uber-ceo-criticizes-ev-tariffs-supports-chinese-makers-climate-solution-2024-10">CEO Dara Khosrowshahi</a> told <a target="_blank" class="" href="https://www.cnbc.com/2024/10/31/uber-uber-q3-2024-earnings.html">CNBC</a> following the news. "We're very excited about the delivery of the results this quarter and incredibly optimistic about where we're going from here."</p><p>The $43 billion mid-point of Uber's gross bookings forecast range for the fourth quarter was just below the estimate for $43.7 billion, according to Bloomberg. Trip activity for Q4 will be "sort of in line with what we saw in Q3 with a little bit less benefit from pricing," CFO <span>Prashanth Mahendra-Rajah</span> said.</p><p>CEO Khosrowshahi said the company has seen US transaction growth slow a little as it passed on higher insurance costs to customers, but he expects those costs to increase at a more moderate rate going forward. While consumers are "<span>a little more price sensitive in terms of whether they choose to go out or not" on the weekend, weekday demand is very strong, he said, as is </span><span class="key-phrase positive confidence-high">Uber For Business. </span></p><p>Uber is "<span>pretty optimistic" in general in terms of the US going forward, he said.</span></p>

However, the Intel Arc graphics were able to handle a lot of games that are less graphic intensive with ease, allowing you to play games on the device.<br /><br />Coming to battery life, the Galaxy Book4 Pro is equipped with a 63Wh battery and supports 65W charging. As it is a lightweight laptop, the company has kept the battery size on the lower side. The power-efficient chipset ensures that you can get around 8 hours of battery life in regular usage, which should be enough for most users.<br /><br /><h2>Verdict</h2>The Samsung Galaxy Book4 Pro ticks a lot of the boxes, including a sleek and lightweight design, powerful hardware, excellent display and good battery life.
