IndiGo drops 2% The shares of India’s largest airlines IndiGo dropped 2% after its losses widened to ₹1,194 crore for the second quarter ended September 30. The company had posted a net loss of ₹1,062 crore in the same quarter last year. Odisha is the first state to extend the lockdown till April 30. Odisha allows e-commerce platforms to resume operations

New Delhi, Apr 9 () Express logistics services provider Blue Dart Express on Thursday said it has reduced retail tariff prices by 25 per cent, aiding the country in its fight against the coronavirus crisis. Blue Dart Express, part of Deutsche Post DHL Group (DPDHL), operates six dedicated Boeing 757 freighters each with a capacity of 34 tonnes. These aircraft have been operating during the lockdown period across Indian cities enabling essential shipments like medical equipment and pharmaceutical products reach the first responders in hospitals and medical institutions with the promise of secure and timely deliveries. "In order to provide customers with a solution for their shipping needs during these trying times and to further use our Air Express Logistics service to keep the essential supply chain continuity, Blue Dart Express has reduced its Retail Tariff Prices by 25 per cent. This will be applicable to all local retail customers as well as all MSMEs," the company said in a statement. Ketan Kulkarni, CMO and Head Business Development, said: "Blue Dart's 'FIGHT COVID 19 – PRICE (FC19-P)' is a unique initiative and our duty towards the nation in these times of crisis. We have always stepped up as a 'FIRST IN LAST OUT' organisation whenever a disaster has struck the nation. Significantly, former civil aviation minister Suresh Prabhu had last week said that freight rates were increased by airlines for exports of agriculture, horticulture an marine products and called for fixing of cargo rates appropriately. Blue Dart cuts retail tariff rates by 25% amid coronavirus crisis

<keyword id="151542" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="Deutsche-Post-DHL">Deutsche Post DHL</keyword>, the leading global mail and logistics group, is set to invest over 100 million euros (about Rs 800 crore) in India over the next two years. The company’s aim to become the go-to for services related to e-commerce. According to sources, Blue Dart, a subsidiary of <keyword id="108234" type="CITY" weightage="20" keywordseo="DHL">DHL</keyword> will play a major role in creating the e-commerce wave. 
 According to <keyword id="180750" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Deutsche-Post">Deutsche Post</keyword> DHL <keyword id="24211" type="POSITION" weightage="20" keywordseo="chief-executive">chief executive</keyword> <keyword id="305673" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Frank-Appel">Frank Appel</keyword>, Deutsche Post has also chosen India to pilot development of its e-commerce business model for Asia Pacific. He believes that India will soon become the biggest online market in the world. 
 
"This region is expected to soon surpass North America and Europe as the biggest online market in the world. As the leading logistics company with an unsurpassed global footprint, there is a huge opportunity for us to become the world's leading provider of e-commerce logistics and we have a ready solutions infrastructure in India to pilot our solutions," said Appel. 
 
As per the company's global online retailing report, e-commerce share of over all trade volume of emerging markets will surge to 30% by 2025. Notably, the share in developed countries will rise upto 40%. 
 In a bid to become the leading player of e-commerce services, the German logistics giant is investing through its domestic subsidiary <keyword id="194707" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Blue-Dart-Express">Blue Dart Express</keyword> in infrastructure and the development of fulfillment centre, multiple delivery and payment options. 
 
DHL will set up 15 fulfillment centre across locations, including Delhi, Bangalore and Mumbai as well as in tier-2 cities as part of this plan, said Appel. 
Blue Dart Express managing director Anil Khanna said e-commerce portals like Flipkart, Amazon among others have shown interest in the proposed fulfillment centres.

I'd come here just for the spectacular bread basket, which can come loaded with rolls, flatbreads, and focaccia.Then, we strolled over to Horseshoe Las Vegas to see Dita Von Teese's current residency. We saw her famous martini-glass bath, entire dance crew, and sparkling costumes.After a nightcap at Sala 118 at the Venetian Resort around 11 p.m., we headed back to our hotel.<h2 id="cda314fd-c087-470b-8122-03095cf603e6">Saturday is usually the chill day on the itinerary</h2><div type="image" title="COMO rooftop pool deck filled with umbrellas, lounge chairs, people" height="720" width="960" msid="111040148" hostid="261"></div>We got a late start with a 10 a.m. brunch at COMO Poolside Café at Bellagio before popping over to the Cypress Pool a few steps away — this <a target="_blank" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/guides/travel/best-beach-hotels-for-adults">adults-only pool</a> has comfy chairs with umbrellas.Although I could happily lay here all day, we had spa treatments at the <a target="_blank" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/rome-cavalieri-waldorf-astoria-review-with-kid-worth-it-2024-6">Waldorf Astoria</a> calling our name. I love sitting in the spa's mosaic-tile lounges while overlooking the Strip.Next, we headed to one of the highlights of any trip to Vegas: <a target="_blank" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/makeup-inspired-brunch-at-the-w-high-beau-tea-review-2023-3">high tea</a> at the Tea Lounge at the Waldorf. I won't soon forget the stone-pot Thai rice with confit duck and pork-belly bao buns with pastrami crust.Lastly, live jazz music at Nowhere at Fontainebleau is always a great time and the perfect warm-up for a serious night of dancing at Zouk Nightclub at Resorts World.The night we were there, T-Pain performed to a packed room of what seemed like one bachelorette party after the next.<h2 id="fdbf445a-2739-47fe-8f9d-6196e803cd7d">Our last day starts slow, but we still do plenty</h2><div type="image" title="Oysters and sauces next to pastries at Bouchon in Vegas" height="900" width="1200" msid="111040144" hostid="261"></div>Getting back to the hotel at 4 a.m. meant a rough start on Sunday —the only reasonable cure was breakfast at Bouchon at The Venetian, where I could stuff my face with chef Thomas Keller's French pastries and truffle fries.We needed some physical activity, so we headed to the PLAY Playground at Luxor. I loved his twist on the blue-crab salad and the yellowtail crudo topped with caviar.Finally, after an action-packed weekend, we headed back to the airport.

I never stay in Las Vegas for more than 2 nights. This is my foolproof itinerary for maximizing a weekend in Sin City.

A few aim little binoculars at the courtroom's overhead screens to better gauge his expressions — and <a target="_blank" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/trump-struggles-stay-awake-sleeping-criminal-trial-2024-4">his alertness</a>.But the <a target="_blank" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/jurors-seated-donald-trump-trial-manattan-trial-who-are-they-2024-4">12 jurors</a> and six alternates hardly look at Trump as they file back and forth past the defense table. At most, the eyes of one or two jurors may dart in Trump's direction as they enter and leave for breaks or for the day.Trump, likewise, doesn't appear to pay his jurors much attention at all as they pass within six feet of him.He'll stand, like everyone else, at a court officer's cry of "All rise! Jury entering." But he'll either whisper with his lawyers or scowl indistinctly into space as they pass by.It seems remarkable. Trump is the most famous person on the planet, and the jurors hardly look at him, even from the jury box. Meanwhile, the jurors hold his potential criminal record in their hands, but Trump doesn't watch them much, either.Business Insider described this strange-seeming, mutual coyness to veteran Manhattan trial attorneys. Pro athletes in the NFL, NBA, NHL, and MLB have incorporated Neurotracker into their training to level up. One college athlete credits the technology with helping her win a gold medal at the Winter Olympics. In <a target="_blank" href="https://www.neurotrackerx.com/post/new-research-perceptual-cognitive-training-improves-motor-skills-in-aging">one study</a> Neurotracker conducted at a major hospital in Mexico City, older adults with mild dementia and memory issues had better fine motor control and hand-eye coordination after about 90 minutes of the training.Lee Sidebottom, NeuroTracker's director of concept applications, told Business Insider the company is in a late-stage partnership deal with "one of the major fitness chains in the US" (though the company wouldn't say which one). Gyms and clubs leaning harder into the longevity space are looking at Milani as an example."They're all kind of discussing it, and feel like they have a need to bring in the cognitive dimension to the physical fitness," Sidebottom said. "We see increases in physical reaction time, we see improvements in auditory processes."But independent sports scientists aren't totally sure about that. A <a target="_blank" href="https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8500884/">2021 systematic review</a> of Neurotracker studies found that the company tends to overstate its data, and that more people need to test out this tech to know for sure that the results aren't just indicative of false positives and a placebo effect.As I step out onto the sparkling-clean Singaporean pavement, jumping to dart around mid-afternoon rain puddles in the tropical heat, I feel refreshed and sharp.It would be impossible for me to disentangle exactly how much of that feeling could be attributed to the physical workout I just did, how much of it was the mental exercises, and how much may be a placebo effect, but I relished the good feeling all afternoon.

In fact, it kind of looks like a comet now, NASA discovered when the Hubble Space Telescope snapped a new image of the distant space rock.NASA's Double Asteroid Redirection Test (DART) was a daring attempt to practice diverting an asteroid away from Earth. Astronomers don't know of any hazardous asteroids heading for Earth in the next 100 years, but the agency wants to be prepared in case it needs to nudge away Armageddon. So on September 26, the DART spacecraft slammed into Dimorphos, pushing it slightly closer to the larger asteroid it's orbiting, called Didymos.An asteroid — a simple rock — usually appears as a point of light in telescope images. But a comet — a ball of ice and dust — usually has two distinct tails. One tail appears white and is made of dust. The other looks blue, since it's made of electrically charged particles called ions.<div type="image" title="Halley's comet" height="599" width="798" msid="94997665" hostid="261" sizebytes="61880"></div>Thanks to the explosive DART impact, a stream of dust and rock has been drifting from Dimorphos out into space. Now it has the forked-tail appearance of a comet. That double tail is an "unexpected development," according to <a href="https://www.nasa.gov/feature/nasa-s-hubble-spots-twin-tails-in-new-image-after-dart-impact">NASA's statement</a> on the Hubble photo.Hubble has observed the Dimorphos-Didymos system 18 times since DART's impact. The images indicate that the second, "northern" tail formed sometime between October 2 and 8. It helped me to deal with my emotions.When I was their age, I remember my mom staring at me and saying, "I just blinked and you grew up." It's hard for me to understand how they went from these little, helpless babies to independent adults, even though I'd been there the whole time.<h2>I've turned to my friends and family for support</h2>Last week, I posted on my social media, "Two weeks from today they go to college. I didn't know it was possible to feel so excited and sad at the same time!"I received an overwhelming amount of support from friends and family, many of whom said they knew exactly how I was feeling. Some of my friends who live near my twins' college told me to give my kids their cellphone numbers in case they needed anything.That support helped me feel more excited and less sad.<h2>I learned that planning a trip to see them helped ease the pain</h2>To help cope with the initial separation, I planned a few fun days in New York City with my husband and younger daughter. We'll visit the twins at Fordham.We booked a room at the new Hard Rock Hotel since we loved staying at the one in Florida. One of our favorite aspects of the hotel was watching the '80s music videos on the lobby TV. Sometimes we just hung out there to watch the videos. Hopefully, we can recreate that in New York. And then we are going to do touristy things like visit the Empire State Building and see a Broadway show.Carefully planning that trip has taken my mind off of what's to come.<h2>In the end, I'm trying to focus on the positive and my children's accomplishments</h2>I keep reminding myself that under all this sadness and grief, there's a sense of accomplishment. I managed to raise these kids for 18 years, and they have worked hard to get to this point. Reminding myself of how far we've come helps me see how much they have grown and how independent they are.Even though I know it's going to be hard, I know that they are ready to embark on this adventure. I also know that they will be home for Thanksgiving and then for a month during winter break. It'll all happen in just the blink of an eye, right?
